The electric meter installed at Flat D-607, National Palace, Takka, Panvel was giving wrong readings since Feb'09. Earlier the monthly consumption was about 100 units ( Rs. 300/- p.m.), but since Feb'09, the meter started running very fast and in one month the consumption was shown more than Rs.3000/-, more than 10 times than earlier. This was not acceptible because we were not using any extra equipments. We don't have even washing machine. So, the problem was with the MSEB meter.
Frequent complaints by my wife led MSEB to install an additional meter on April 20' 09. It was told to us that MSEB will observe the reading of new meter vis-a-vis old meter and revise the previous unpaid bills according to the estimated actual consumption.
But, since April 20' 09 no body came to record the meter reading. As a result, MSEB continues to send monthly bills based on the previous unrealistic arrears.
Now, the old defective meter has been removed by MSEB and the other meter is installed permanently.
The present meter reading of new meter was 249 as on 09/07/09. Its initial reading at the time of installation on April 20 was 3, thus the net consumption was 246 units in more than 2-1/2 months.
Hence, all the previous bills should be revised according to the average consumption.We are waiting since February '09 for the bills to be corrected and make the payments.
For June' 09 also, no meter reading was taken by MSEB and the bill shows total units consumed as Zero.
We are not able to pay the bills since Feb' 09 due to this deficiency.Thus, delay in payment is due to MSEB only and not due to our fault.
We have submitted several complaints in MSEB, Panvel, but no action has been taken by MSEB so far. I tried to send the complaint to SDO, billing 0311 by email, but no success. The email returned undelivered.
Kindly address my complaint at the earliest.

on the date of 30/1/11 sunday at w/14, suddenlly power went off.in the morning around 8am,
when enquired on the road site the mseb staff was doing job, say around 10.
the power was given to neighbouring w/13 and w/15,
we waited for more time tocome the power assuming that it will come,
but till 4.30 pm no power given.
when called to the 2472330 the attendent said go to road check that our persons may be around and kept the phone without hearing the customers saying.when again called, no one was lifting the receiver, at last some one has lifted and said here is nobody to assist u r complain.finally we sourced the mobile no given above and called the officer. he said i am sending persons to attend,
thanks to the officer for sending and giving power,

the problem narreted by attendent was some one has taken out all three fuses
they also said we do not know who has done this mistake,
we understood that when the persons came in the morning might have removed the fuses for safety ground,
but is it not their responsibilty to reput the fuses?
due their mere negligence we have lost our valuable work,
this can only happen because of no proper supervision on the onduty persons
we request to reply with proper reasoning.
