On 29-Aug-22; My ticket booking got cancelled itself within 2 minutes of booking to non-availability of lower birth seats. Mmt then texted me this:

[We regret the failure of your Rail booking id NR[protected] after the successful payment of Rs 1597.7.
The refund has been initiated with following details.
Total Refund : Rs 1597.7
It will take upto within 2 working days, please check your Card Statement after Wed Aug 31 20:53:25 IST 2022.]

But it’s been 6 days and no amount is refunded till date.
Whenever I call the (automated customer care) they say refund is not applicable to your booking.

What does that mean?
Where is my money?
Why isn’t the amount refunded even if the app shows “amount refunded”?

    Don’t know where to start
    Worst service with #Makemytrip train booking Clear trip is far more better with the service
    I tried many time it says my number is temporary blocked
    Waiting for my refund since it’s been 12 days being an influencer I wouldn’t to any of my connection to face the same
    After getting this page saw the same for many people
    If within a week I don’t get my refund would like to raise voice against closing such companies doing open fraud
    And for your kind information I spoke to my bank as well they didn’t find any links connecting to it

    This problem is not at all resolved
    So the system is set in such a way if a person raise complain against MakeMyTrip then it shows auto resolve

      Last 14 th Aug 2022. My Indian friend helped me to book a SRS Bus ticket from Mysore to Mumbai through mmt by her bank account. But the SRS delayed 7h 30 mins which I couldn't take it cos of my flight. My friend cancelled SRS Bus then booked new ticket for me. I talke a guy on the phone abt my bus ticket cancellation and refund. He said we will refund to your account soon and got sms regarding refund. But till now, over 14 days She hasn't got any refund from mmt. She said I'm keep checking every 3 h my bank statment But not yet refund and I went to the Bank to check abt it today as 2nd Sep but the bank said not refund from mmt. She asked me to call to mmt and I talked w them. They said that we need Bank statment which my friend doesn't want to show them cos her financial adviser advised her that can't show them cos it's very private.

      I'm a foreigner I don't have any Indian account that's why I got my Indian friend help but now I regret to buy a ticket from mmt... My Indian friends told me they don't refund you just keep asking to show them a bank statment...

        Hello sir/ mam
        Im booked my ticket at 13 aug and when i go to reached bus the driver was not giving permission to enter the bus they are cancell my ticket and im try to contact the customer support but i didn't
        And when i try to contact the bus operator they said dont worry your ticket was cancell by me and i will back your money but i didn't get any refund and i will try to contact both of you but no one help me and i will decide this is the my last mail to your company otherwise i will write a complaint in twiter and one is consumer forum
        I will shere my invoice resolved this problem and get back my refund as soon as possible

          Refund Issued but not processed

          I have booked hotel tickets from makemytrip thinking I would be arriving at late night at that place and rooms might be occupied but I had to cancel trip due to an accident I cancelled the tickets after 6 hours of booking and they claimed they will refund 24 hours before check in time and it was clearly within terms, So I applied for refund at it instantly cancelled and showed refund has been initiated.PayTm Upi ending with *************@paytmbr...

              Hi Team,
              We have booked 2 rooms in Oyo 78288 Bella Vagues Ecr, Chennai through MMT for 11 Aug -12th Aug. We reached hotel in the night on 11th Aug around 10PM. When we reached hotel, it denied to allocate the rooms to us and said that there was no booking done.

              PNR: [protected]

              We didn't stay in hotel and also money is not refunded. Kindly request you to please look into the issue as its been already 20 days now.
              We have also raised ticket to oyo customer care but didn't get any response (Ticket id : [protected])

                  I made a train booking and the when i try to log into the account, the email id is linked to the old number and the otp is going on that number. I dont understand ho is it posible when all the updates on the train is coming on the new number. No one is responding on the customer care number

                    I made a train booking on makemytrip, when i am trying to log in my account, the otp is being sent on the old number and there is no option to change the number. The update are being sent in new number i dint understand how is this happening. No one is responding on customer support. I urgently want to cancel the booking

                      I cancelled the trian ticket but i did not received any refund also i paid 60₹ for full refund when I booked the trian. When I contacted there customer service number they said that i am not applicable for refund also i cancelled ticket one day before travelling.help me

                        I have booked flight with AirAsia for 6/09/2022 which was cancelled by AirAsia, Now when I asked for Refund, I got to know from MMT customer care that they will charge Convenience fee and refund the remaining amount.

                        I really don't understand why I should bear this fee, It was AirAsia who cancelled the flight so why MMT is charging this amount to me. My only fault was I booked ticket from MMT which I will never use henceforth.

                          It has been more than 3 weeks from my original request and almost a week since I raised my concern here, but Make My Trip hasn't responded by any means so far, no emails or call. This is just terrible service!!!

                          Make My Trip has not refunded my money from 18 days now, no calls or responses to multiple support tickets raised!

                          Here's the context from my 2nd support ticket on 18th, task id[protected]:
                          "This request is for a booking that was unsuccessful for the same time period 10-12 August, 2022.
                          Booking id: NF7Q1G5YZP1ENZGR2898
                          My booking was unsuccessful due to technical issues at your end on 8th August, however an amount of ₹18, 601 was debited and the app had the confirmation on it. Though the app mentioned the refund would be initiated within 2-3 days, I raised a support ticket as well, but that was closed abruptly on 13th Aug without a resolution - miserable Customer experience.
                          Previous support ticket number:[protected]
                          I had to spend again and make another flight booking.
                          I need the refund of Rs. 18, 601/- processed to my bank account ASAP since it's been 10 days now. You can call me on 97433***** or email. Also, I need to know why the app removed the unsuccessful booking from the My Trips page and the support ticket associated with it as well. Tracking all this is important."

                          I still haven't heard from them by any means. They don't answer calls nor reply to the emails.

                            I am unable to Login into my Make My Trip account since my mobile number has changed. The website/mobile app sends the OTP to my Old Mobile number which is not active anymore. Without OTP there is no way I could get access to my account.

                            I have called Makemytrip's Customer service number several times, but no one was able to help. There is no option to connect to Support Team who could help with 'Account...

                            I have tried booking a flight on aug 3 from kochi to patna for two, the booking got failed, but my money is debited from bank.

                            When i contacted my bank, they said the money is succesfully credited to beneficiary account (makemytrip accont) and only makemytrip can refund the money.

                            But when i contacted makemytrip with the details that bank has given, they said they couldnt find any details on their system, they are helpless. They said they have notify the backend team regarding this, and they will contact me within 2-3 days.

                            I have tried contacting after 3 days, agian a new person is asking all the details from the beginning. This has happend 4 times.

                            I have given bank statement upto date, utr number, failed booking screenshot, everything that they have asked for. But no solution so far. Today is 30/8/22. Its been 27 days and still no response.

                            I will be forced to file an fIR and followed by a consumer court complaint as per my lawyer advice if no action initiated from makemytrip

                                Bus was booked from Lonavala to Ahmedabad on date:17/08/2022.
                                The bus in which we were sitting had an accident in Lonavala itself.
                                We were told by the bus operator that if you take another bus, your
                                ticket money will be refunded to you. The bus ticket was then
                                canceled by our travel agency Shree Vijay Travel and told that the
                                refund would be given by Make My Trip.I have tried to contact
                                Makemytrip many times for this. Calling can be done only for
                                booking but no option of calling for complaint is given. What is
                                interesting is that even though the ticket has been canceled by the
                                travel agency, the journey is shown as completed in Make My Trip.
                                Understand what this means. There is a lack of coordination
                                between travel agencies and MakeMyTrip. Due to which my ticket
                                cost Rs. 5236.00 could not be refunded..A screen shot of the bus
                                ticket and ticket cancellation message is also attached here. Kindly
                                request to arrange that I get my refund and take concrete action by
                                Makemytrip for customer grievance redressal. So that no one else
                                gets bothered like me.
