I Ravi Narula, Mobile No. [protected], working at Patiala City, purchased a Micromax Mobile handset A210 on[protected]. Not even worked for one complete year, the handset got defected in July’14, as it had no display. This handset was sent for repair in Zonal Service Centre at Mani Majra on[protected] during the warranty vide Job Card No. N[protected] – 10794434 dated[protected]. They noted down for fault no 4904 – Display black lines & 4908 – Display bad Pixel. After a long wait, this mobile was returned on24 /07/2014 and it was found that its Outgoing audio was not working.
The same handset was deposited back in same office at M/S Abacus Systems, SCO NO. 824, NAC, Mani Majra, Above Indian bank, Chandigarh – 160101, on the same day[protected] vide Job Card No. N[protected] – 11081753 dated[protected]. This set is still under repair, while a complete month has been past. They noted the faults 4401 – Audio No Outgoing Audio, 4911 – Display Touch Screen Not Working, No Incoming Call, No Outgoing Call, Mike Problem. On daily chase at this office on phone and also on mobile, it is told that the handset is still under repair, while I understand the spares required in routine, are readily available in Head Office at least.
In this fastgoing busy working environment, everyone can understand the need of a good working handset for daily use. So rather than repair of the old Handset, I claim a good replacement of the handset, as it had not worked for one complete year of its warranty period, otherwise the warranty of the repaired set should be increased for one more year further.
