Dear Sir,
I have purchased a A116 phone in Pune in Sep 2013. In june 2014 it developed a problem of "charge not holding" and "not charging". Since it was in gurantee i went to your authorised service center in Pune on 02 Jun 2014. I should bring it to you kind attention the professionalism of your agents and also their approach towards their your customers. The follwing are the sequence of events
(a) the moment i had shown my phone the service desk gentleman immediately told that the battery needs to be changed. When I asked how if i have to pay for it he said Yes.
(b) Then I told him there is some other problem as the phone is not charging at all and also it is very irregular, can you please check the charging circuit. He said OK reluctantly and then got it checked.
(c) After waitng for an hour he said there is actually a problem in the charging circuit. It needs to come from gurgaon and it will take 3 weeks. I got a shock of my life, in this era of super fast communication micromax takes 3 weeks for rectification. I sadi OK and gave the phone.
(d) On 24 Jun when i enquired initially he said it has not come and it may take some time. In the evening again i get a call saying that your phone is ready. I go collect the phone. I checked the phone, the on off switch was working but it was slight sluggish, the battery portion i could not check as it was charged fully. i was of the opinion that QA checks must have been done by the service center before handing over the phone, When i go home and check, the charging problem still exists and also the switch stopped working.
(e) Again I go them on 26 Jun and ask them aabout their senior so that I can make them aware of the approach and my problem but I was denied and was told that I will get my phone immediately. I waited there for 2 hrs and finally got the phone. He said that it was perfectly ok now, we have changed the switch, and rectified the charging circuit.
(f) This time when I come back home and check, to my utter surprise the phone is not recognising any SIM. I am actually fed up, I am taking it again to your great profesional service center.
I would like to bring out few points
(a) This is not the way a upcoming company works. There is a great lack of attitutde and professionalism with your staff.
(b) They need to be trained, they don't have etiquette's at all.
(c) They don't have value for time. I have spent more than 7 hrs till now for a phone which is in warranty. It is still not repaired. Kindly value for customers time.
(d) In your process there is a so much of time wasted by your engineer for reworking on the same just because of poor workmanship.
(e) I think your whole process needs rework and six sigma implementation, kindly get it done.
A sincere advice, if you want to survive in this competitive world of smartphone, only advertisements wont work, after sales service matter more that. Also customers are not fools, they understand the company well.
Do you think I will recommend Micromax to anybody after this experience
