    Dear Sir, My name is Imran Khan and I did a Mitsubisi Split AC purchase from you in May 2018 which I bought on 4 May 2018 and its invoice number is BFL000118. Actually my AC Compressor is not proper working and For this I want to make my complaint that my AC compressor is not working, I have tried hard to contact online Customer care no. but I am not able to talk, so I am sending my Complaint to you. please resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                I purchased my air conditioner from mitsubhishi electric an year ago, earlier after the installation of my AC, I faced issues of it not working due to gas leakage but the leakage was in underground fitting from the inward and outward pipeline, I got it fixed by a local service person as this has got nothing to do with the company, so this happened in march, I got it fixed by may, now after getting that fixed some AC makes some irritating noises and often water also gets out of it but after 2 months, the AC stopped working, I complaint in the company and they found it was a problem of the condenser that is a part of outer of the split ACs. they accepted it but part hasn't been replaced till now, its been almost a week, I was promised that it will be replaced within 3 days but it didn't happen also the Gas filling of AC must be also done by them as it got leaked from the condenser not from the pipeline, its been a year and my AC hasn't worked well for more than 1 month by max. Requesting you to get my problem solved or else I've to file a consumer court case, as in this time AC is very important and I didn't have it all summers and major time of this was the company's fault.

                  In our family’s new apartment in cochin, we have installed six mitsubishi air conditioners (Ac). Two of them are in the living-dining area, which is a large, expansive room. Paradoxically, those two ac units in that vast room do a good job. Paradox, because this large room cools well and fast, while the ac units in the much smaller rooms do a miserable job.

                  Out of the three bed rooms, one is somewhat large, but not a vast room. The other two bed rooms are really tiny. So is the study room. Strangely, they are not cooling properly. A mediocre cooling effect, not good enough, and it takes long to affect the cooling.

                  To begin with, one unit in a small bed-room was not cooling at all. We made several complaints, first to the agents. And their team came and tested and gave some very silly explanations. I approached mitsubishi directly. They identified the defect and replaced the defective part. That brought the cooling effect in that room to the level of other two rooms, which is not satisfactory at all.

                  Neither the local agents, who did the installing, nor the mitsubishi team do not give a direct explanation as to the real problem: why are the ac units not cooling the room? They always hide in a verbiage of technical jargon. For us the room should be cool. At the end of the day, that is we are paying for.

                  Unfortunately, the covid 19 slowed down the redressal effort, which was no one’s fault.

                  We are thoroughly dissatisfied with the mitsubishi ac installations, which, by the way, are among the most expensive ac units available in the country.

                  Apparently as a result of the complaint, a team of technicians from Mitsubishi and Optcool evaluated the air-conditioning (AC) units in our apartment in Sacramento, Yacht Club Enclave, Cochin, on 10 September 2020.

                  Basically, we both reiterated our previous stands. Mitsubishi maintered their original opinion of proper efficiency depending on the technical parameters. They pointed out in their report, “the ACs are working at its Optimum capacities.” (Please see below.) They seem to miss my point, which is that the rooms are not comfortably cool. Period. The AC units’ full-capacity working is not relevant; cooling of the room is. The people in the room should feel it. To me the rooms felt anything but cool.

                  Even the technicians agreed that my eyeglasses were fogging in the room. In an adequately cooled room, the glasses should not have fogged. This practical point is easily reproducible, without technical jargon, in front of anyone, even in a court of law.

                  One of the technicians at one stage told me that the room was not cool because I opened the door. Paradoxically, if opening the door effected the temperature, it should have cooled the room further, because the door opened to the cooler living area.

                  Regarding the star rating of the AC units, we were not informed that Star 3 units do not cool the rooms adequately.

                  I proposed a solution: replace the AC units in the three bedrooms with units of higher cooling efficiency. The cost is negotiable

                  I am waiting for a possible resolution.

                  Reply report from Mitsubishi and Optcool:

                  Greetings from OPTCOOL, Optimum Cooling Solutions.

                  Based on the complaint registered by you at Mitsubishi headquarters, following people had a detailed inspection of the case on 10th Sep 2020 at 4.30 pm.
                  1. Binu from Mitsubishi Electric
                  2. Sadasivan from Mitsubishi Electric
                  3. Shibil from Mitsubishi Electric
                  4. Remesh from Optcool(Mitsubishi Authorised dealer)
                  The team had switched on all the ACs at 4.35 pm and had waited for 25 minutes to see the cooling effects in the presence of client. Ambient temperature at that time was 30 Deg C. Our observations at 5 pm were as under.
                  1. Temperature reading in a digital thermometer was 21 Deg C in the living room
                  2. Temperature reading in the same digital thermometer was 22 Deg C or 22.5 Deg C in all other rooms
                  3. Temperature reading in the same digital thermometer was 22.5 Deg C in the Smallest room(were the client claims the cooling effect is worst)
                  4. Off coil temperature reading in the same digital thermometer was 11 Deg C in the Smallest room(were the client claims the cooling effect is worst)
                  In view of the above, Mitsubishi team has informed that the ACs are working at its Optimum capacities and the working parameters seems to be fine inline with the industry standards. It is a standard practice that ACs are always designed considering pull down time of approximately 30 to 45 minutes for comfort applications.

                  Another major observation, Mitsubishi team could point out is that the units used in the Living area are 5 star types and in all the remaining areas, it is 3 star types. At the time of finalisation of the units, both 3 star and 5 star options were quoted to the client and a combination of 3 star and 5 star was finalised with client's discretion. 5 star units are better in performance compared to 3 star units which is the reason for better performance of ACs installed at living areas.

                  In view of the above, Mitsubishi once again reinstates that the performance of all AC units seems to be alright during their inspection of these units.

                  Before I go to the specific points, I would stress one point: You are approaching this job as if it is a new work project. It is not. Please remember this is an upgrade job made necessary by an inadequate / imperfect / faulty installation. The terms have to be formulated on this basis.

                  From the beginning you had been insisting that the AC units were perfect on the basis of “industry standard” and “measurements”. You gave silly explanations – lack of furniture, lack of window curtains – in addition for the possible lack of cooling. Yet when I persisted the Mitsubishi technician came and readily detected a defective part in one of the units and ultimately replaced it. That much for your “industry standard” and “measurements”.

                  I wanted you to measure the temperature not just at the AC unit vent, but at different locations. You continued your practice After a couple of times I just gave up.

                  During one of the inspections the technicians filled the gas too.

                  The bedrooms were not cool, irrespective of the temperature measurements. You also noted that my eyeglasses fogged when I walked into one of the bedrooms from the more efficiently cooled living area. What more measurement do you need to find that the cooling was not adequate?

                  Customers do not use a thermometer to decide if the room were sufficiently cool. Neither does they refer to the standards. It is the feeling of comfort that matter. I am glad you accepted that cooling is a perception. That is lacking in those bedrooms. I had been trying to tell you that.

                  I accept your view that changing the AC units’ capacity involves major hazardous civil work. Yet I do not condone your initial calculation and recommendation. The calculation you are writing about now should have been carried out before the initial installation.

                  It is a question of perception. I and my family are not satisfied with the cooling you are providing. We are stressing and trying to correct this simple fact. I stand firm on my original assertion that the price difference should be brought down.

                  That is exactly my point. At the completion of the work, you may not be able to convince me about the additional expenditure claimed to have incurred. Please remember that this is not a fresh work. Sorry, the cost estimate has to be up front.

                  This simply means that you should be careful to avoid damage to civil structure. During the initial installation you did damage the living-room wall. We had to get it repaired. That is no longer possible. If your workers make any damage, you pay for it.

                  We had already paid for the gas charging. It is not reasonable to pay twice for one work.

                  The answer is the same as to my answer for point 4.

                  You see the labour charges as “actual cost”. But I have already paid the actual cost already. Why should I pay twice?

                  These points still hold good.

                  Incidentally, I might tell you another issue, unrelated to the Mitsubishi AC units under consideration here, but involving the Hitachi AC unit you installed in our house in Panampilly Nagar simultaneously. It stopped working this week. The Hitachi technicians found that the TEMPORARY SWITCH is not there. They opened the unit and ascertained that it was not set up at all. The paper work is not completed too.
                  I have been trying hard, and for long, to avoid a legal battle. But it is becoming increasingly clear that I am reaching that stage. My demands are:
                  1. A discounted comprehensive, all-inclusive estimate for the offered upgrade.

                  2. I will pay 50 % of that estimate before starting the work.

                  3. I will make arrangement to repair any damage to the apartment caused during the upgrade work.

                  4. The cost of that will be deducted from the remaining 50 % of the estimate, and the remaining amount will be paid on the day the work is completed.
                  I received an email message from the Optcool. This is reproduced below. My reply is pasted below that. That message remains unanswered.

                  Thank you once again for the message. I accept your offer, but with reservations.

                  1. First, I want an assurance from Optcool, and more important, from the Mitsubishi technical team on the following point:

                  Would this upgrade to 5 Star cool the rooms efficiently? Or is the “Tr”, which I assume is roughly the same as “Ton” (Correct me if I am wrong here.), adequate for each room? Specifically, does that need to be upgraded too? That is a critical point.

                  2. The price difference should be brought down significantly. After all, I had to spend hours and hours spread over several months to reach this point. You will recall that initially you continued to insist that all AC units were working properly. I had to doggedly persist to get a Mitsubishi technician to detect a defect in one of the units. It took several further visits to reach this stage.

                  3. Details of the additional expected items should be provided for consideration now. Sorry, no additional payment will be made at the end of the instillation.

                  4. Deduction for every maintenance / repair work, if any, should be made from the total cost.

                  5. I will not pay any additional amount for the “gas charges”.

                  6. Every care should be taken by the technical team to avoid any damage to the apartment. I will now remind you the damage to the wall of the living room made during the previous installation.

                  7. The labour charges will not be paid.

                  You should remember, and I want to stress, that this work is made necessary because of the inadequacies in the original installation, and not because of any fault of ours. We, the consumer, have already gone through considerable mental and physical distress. This should be born in mind when setting the terms of work.

I said the technician that the ac makes much noise, but he did some temp adjustment and went. Later till today the sound keeps coming.. Really greedy company with worst service. We thought mitsubhishi is one of the best, but its core to the worst

                      Hi, i bought a 1.5 ton inverter split a/c on 1st july. The installation was done by balaji aircon, delhi. And with no doubt i can say they have the worst staff. The installation guy did not install it properly and there was a problem in flap, and then after 15 days we get to know there is no gas in our ac. There is a gas leakage in the a/c and it's been 7 days we have registered a complaint, but they are not coming to resolve the issue. I hope mitsubishi hears this complaint and resolves it at urgent basis. I would be really grateful to you.

                        Dear Sir
                        I have register a complaint regarding 1.5 TON AC on 27 Jul & 03 Aug 20. Your Engineer has also came on 29 Jul and 05 Aug. But the complaint has not been solved till date. After spent a long time against my complaint, he is pending and no any suitable action by your office. On 05 Aug your Engineer came to my house & check the AC and told me maximam fault in the AC and also he is defected pic. You have contact the dealer immediately for his replacement. I contact to Mr Anand Electronic, Rohtak, Haryana on the time, he refuse me for his replacement. He told me Blower of your AC has broken & you pay an amount of Rs 3000/-. Company has not given any warranty of blower. I have puchase the AC in 26 May 2020 from Anand Electronic. Sir I am very said due to not solved my complaint within a stipulated time which is not understood. My complaint mob No is [protected].

                            We bought a 2 ton mitsubishi electric ac on feb, 2017 and had spent a lot on it with great expectations. But, sadly, the ac has never worked properly and the service personnel had to visit a lot of times for different issues such as smell, no proper cooling etc etc. Just after a year, the ac stopped cooling completely and the dealer said that we would have to pay rs. 18, 000/-. We didn't want to waste our money and made a direct complaint to the company and i wanted to proceed legally against them. They repaired it and said that there would not be any issue again. Now, again there is the same issue this year in 2020. Never had we had any peace with the ac and we regret getting the ac from the company. We spent close to one lakh on a single unit and got nothing from it. Now, the repair estimate is rs. 23000/-who, in their right mind would spend that much on a faulty machine? What can be done to the company and dealer for defrauding like this?

                              I have purchased mitsubishi split 1.90 ton inverter ac on[protected] from AVI solutions, jaipur.
                              from the same day the ac is not working properly. i have complaint in the company many times but there is no positive response.
                              They even closed my complaint request without informing me and solving the issue.
                              Its more than a month i am following this Mitsubishi company for solving my AC's problem but since there is no response i need to now replace my product on the earliest possible way as summer is on the peak.
                              I have the video recording of AC's blinking light as a proof which i have forwarded in the company as well.
                              I have the complaint report hard copy which states that AC is not working in night and it also get stop in front of service technician.

                                  I purchased 8.50 ton of vrf air conditioner system in the month of 2016 from mitsubishi electric. The warranty of the said system expired in march 2017. The official of the mitsubishi electric was supposed to communicate the same for the execution of amc. However, no such person from m/s. Allied engineering (Which is authorized service provider of mitsubishi) (Ae) contacted me for the purpose, and my unit functioned without amc for the period from the date of expiry of warranty till 31st december 2017.
                                  Since there amc executed on 28th may 2018, i believe no service was rendered from the period from 1st january 2018 to 28th may 2018. The significance of the period can be derived from the fact that the payment of the amc for the year 2018 was made on 28th may 2018. If the mitsubishi is particular about the payment, it will not commence the amc unless the payment is received which infers that the amc must commence from the date of payment and not from 1st january 2018. Although the amc agreement may have the date of commencement from 1st january, but the fact how the payment was demanded in may 18 and if the policy of mitsubishi is to commence the work only the payment, then in such situation it is difficult to rely upon the fact the amc continued without payment to mitsubishi through its authorized service provider for the period from 1 january 18 to 28th may 2018. Going by the manner in which the payment was made towards amc for the year 2018, i was under the bonafide belief that the amc would continue and the payment would be demanded as usual in the month of may 19.
                                  However, this time another person not from the ae visited my office and behaved in an unruly manner and directed me for the payment. I questioned why the person from allied did not come for the renewal. He said ae and mitsubishi are identical and there is no need to for the person from allied to come for renewal. I objected to this as i entered into amc for with ae for the year 2018 and wanted same to be continued in the presence of the representative of the ae.
                                  Now it appears to me that the failure of the compressor is due to fault in servicing. Either the servicing must have not been done properly or not have been at all as my office premise is located on the 4th floor and vr[censored]nit is located on the 2nd floor. It is almost impossible to keep the check and how we are supposed to look into when we have no knowledge of it.
                                  This is a case of gross negligence on the part of the officials of mitsubishi and its authorized service provider and holding me responsible for all the misdeeds.
                                  I seek relief in the said mater at the earliest.

                                    I have 3 mitsubish elictiric ac in my shop
                                    One is 1.5 and other are 2 tons
                                    In the winter my 2 a/c were out of order, which was repaired again and again by engineers then it repaired after 3 months
                                    Know i complaint to june 13 at toll free no. For some problems and service which was commited at the time of sale no response from ur side
                                    My unit is fully digital and i am lossing my business from a week
                                    If there is no solution i am going to other option
                                    My air conditioner is not working and is under warranty...I tried contacting through toll free number but no one is picking the call from last 15 days...
