I had bought a pair of shoes for my son around 8 month back at a cost of around Rs. 2200/- onsidering the shoes of NIKE to be the best. He is wearing it almost twice a week. Pasting of sole is leaving. I went to your retail at Arvindbhai Avenue, C.G.Road and requested for repairing on payment of charges. Your people specially Shri Sunil Rathod informed that NIKE is not responsible for repairs. I had to waste Rs. 100/- in fulel. Now say, whether a shoe worh Rs. 2200/- can be thrown by a middle class people after 8 months. How can you deny after sales service. My relative having shoes of Reebok got repaired by Reebok after 1 and half year on payment of charges. I am shocked to receive such a unreasonable response and arrogant traetment of your staff. When I asked for the Ph. No. of Area in-charge Shri Rathod refused.

Is not it a cheating to consumer whom you are not giving after sales service for such a costly item even when he is ready to pay the charges without alleging that why the sole has gone in such a short time. Please see immediately otherwise I will have no option than approaching consumer court for neglecting and cheating consumers.     I purchased a Nike Air Raptor Shoe size 9 (USA) from CSD Canteen Agra in Nov 2010. The pasting on the soles of the shoe is very poor and has started coming off already even though the shoe has been worn sparingly. I have been using Nike shoes for more 10 years but this is the first time I have encountered this problem that is quite common in other brand shoes. The item code printed on the box is[protected] and the shoe has been manufactured by SSIPL Retail Ltd Dehradun (Uttarakhand). I am unable to locate the bill for the same but date of Mfg printed on the box is Sept 2010 which means that the shoe is still under warranty. I have been unable to contact customer care for the last few days and am submitting the complaint on line. Request revert with solution ASAP.

        my shoes leather got torned .its article code is[protected].its price is rs3200.its manufacturing date is05/14/10. its colour is white . i got the shoes from nike showroom in model town market near ebony jalandhar.i took it 4 months ago.

        i got my shoes from nike showroom in model town market near ebony.actually my bill is not with me . so i wanted that i should give a complaint in consumer care. my shoe's article number is . its of white colour as seen in picture,the leather is been torned itself in just 4 months so i am really disappointed however its cost is rs3200 .i wish that you repair them or give me a new pair of shoes fast . i am really very upset bcoz of this kindly send me a email fast .so that i should be a little satisfied .thanking you:[protected]@hotmail.com

          i purchased a pair of nike shox on dec 23rd 2010 they had a squeak from the very 1st day i thought it may just be the new material "breaking in" however it never stopped and then after wearing the shoes aproximately 12 to 15 times they developed a smell thjat was very strong. i have purchased around 4 to 6 pairs of nike tennis shoes a year for the past 5 years thats around 20 to 30 pairs of shoes from your company at around 75.00 a pair . thats around 1500.00 to 2000.00 on shoes in the past 5 years unless i hear something back from your company soon i will be forced to take my business to your competitors .

            Hi,

            I seek your help in resolving a complaint that has left a very sour taste with Nike and its lack of customer service. I have been driven pillar to post without any resolution. I am detailing the case below and hope you take the necessary action and appropriate compensation.

            •I had purchased shoes from Nike Showroom at Khar (Linking Road) in Mumbai on Nov 22nd, 2010 for Rs. 8900/-. Unfortunately the product has been defective as within a month the mesh in shoes came out.

            •I had taken the shoes to the same showroom on 22nd December 2010 for a replacement. The sales person at the showroom informed me of his inability to take any action and requested me to come back on Friday 24th December 2010 to meet up with the showroom manager.

            •On 24th December, the sales manager informed me of his lack of authority to remedy the situation and that the shoes would need to be sent to the Bangalore office for approval. I was further told that this would take an additional 3 – 4 days time. I was given a claim receipt (No. 20358) and asked to come back to collect the shoes on 28th Dec. The scanned receipt is attached to this email.

            •On 2nd Jan, 2011 – a good 8 days after claim submission and with no intimation from the showroom, I went to the showroom to collect my shoes. The sales manager rudely informed me that 4 days were not over yet and that I would need to wait further. This despite the fact that the claim receipt contradicted his statement. I insisted that he find out from the Bangalore office on the approval. I was promised a call back by 3rd Jan; however this has not yet happened.

            •On 4th Jan, 2011, I called the store on 4th January 2011 to check on the shoes status. The store person curtly hung up the phone by saying that the shoes have been dispatched from the Bangalore office along with the approval and he would let me know once the store received it. This till date has not been done

            This rude, curt, delaying tactics and total lack of customer support is not expected from a global icon like Nike. I have always been a Nike customer but am considering moving my loyalty to another brand.

            I hope you take appropriate action and ensure that the shoes are delivered to me at the earliest. Moreover, I feel justified in asking for compensation of Rs. 500/- for the expenses incurred in travelling to the store multiple times from my home (a distance of 15 kms), non-utilization of paid gym membership, apart from the mental and physical strain. I also recommend that you train your store people appropriately on customer handling.

              I (Sachin) had bought Nike (Air Zoom RS+) on 15/08/2007 for Rs 6400. I was told that this shoe has life time warranty, for any problem get the shoe at the store and it would be fixed free of charge. The pasting of the shoes has come off from the sole. When I approached the store for repairs, he bluntly denied for repairing and said the staff has changed and we cannot provide any service for this shoe.

              The approach of the store was not at all customer friendly, also I feelt cheated by paying a huge sum of money without any service in return.

                We bought shoes from "NIKE" (No :[protected] on 30th MAY 2010 from the show-room based in R-MALL , MULUND MUMBAI (W). Within a span of 5 months of normal usage the sole broke. Not just for one shoe but both.

                The shoes are not upto the mark .I would request for a REPLACEMENT for my shoes at the earliest possible as I am a NATIONAL Table-Tennis player and I require them urgently.

                I had purchased Nike sports shoe SL. K[protected] in the month of Jul 12 in Goa from Nike showroom in 50% discount offer. Sir i used the shoes just once for running and it's sole and heel come out. I am very sorry to mention here that if a brand like Nike will start making their consumer fool like this by just giving offer and throwing their products in customers basket rather than throwing in garbage box and try to make money out of that on the cost of money of common man then we have no place to go for quality product. We go to Nike show room just on a faith that nike will never cheat the people because it is known for its brand.

                Sir as a consumer i just wanted to convey that your product costing price tag of rs 2200/ and i bought in 1100/- in 50 % offer it does not mean i shall purchased the nike shoe for keeping in my showcase. and if you know the fact and deliberately selling your product pse for God sake do not cheat the people because we all are also earning money with lot of hard work. It will extremely disorderly and i am sorry to say that it has given a bad impression for NIKE brand. I am so unhappy that even i do not want to visit that show room again with the shoes stating these problem because it has played with my faith with this brand.

                  Within a month o[censored]se the stiching on the shoes have given way.
                  Repeated complaints to the customer care e-mail have evoked no response. On calling the bangalore local office of Nike , executives hang up midway through the call. Extremely rude response from the representatives of such a seemingly reputed brand is disheartening. Customer care is nearly absent with Nike. I advise customers to stay away from this pathetic excuse of a brand and stick to brands like adidas and Reebok that assure excellent quality of products,

                  I have also faced the same situation. I called the customer service in bangalore and the result is experiencing worst ever customer service.

                  The executives disconnects the call without any answer and nobody picks the call. Almost half a day wasted for me and no results.

                    They are not changing it.

                      I bought a pair of shoes from nike shop which is in crown interior shopping mall in Faridabad mathura road. i am very disappointed with the experience of nike shop after two days the pasting of nike shoes started removing and i went to replace it the shop is 20km away from my house and dealer said you will have to for approval in order to replace the shoes. I was so upset and came back home so i had to go twice over there i waisted my time alot and i wanted to get the compensation. I hope you will resolve the concern as soon as possible.

                      I had bought a NIKE Revolution Boot[protected], Size UK 9, MRP 4095) from NIKE Store, Avani on 9th Jan 2013, But after using the shoe for few days found that the shoe is defective in the shoe for right leg. After that contacted with Avani NIKE Store. But after 20 days of my intimation to NIKE store, Avani they inform me that it was not manufacturing defect and they suggested that i send a mail to the Nike customer care with attaching pics of the defected shoe. After 7 days customer care reply me that it was not manufacturing defect, it due to handling or usual wear and tear. It is for your kind information that shoe carries actually the manufacturing defect/ Material defect. I am a bonafide customer of this brand. Unfortunately no quality response has been found yet. I am now complained not to perches further any shoe of this brand.

                        BEWARE OF NIKE FACTORY STORE IN BANGALORE

                        I purchased a pair of NIKE shoes for Rs. 2950/- on 28th March ‘10 from their so called “Factory Outlet”( which is actually owned by a company called SSIPL Retail Ltd.) in ‘Sigma Arcade’, Marathahalli main Road, Bangalore . The shop assistant recommended a pair called ‘Air loom’ saying it was possibly the best shoes in this brand. Within seven days the sole of the shoe peeled off and when I approached the shop for replacement, they offered to paste the sole for which I refused.

                        After making me go back and forth a few times and they said that if I want replacement, I cannot get the same model which was out of stock. They were not willing to give refund as well. They did not have similar shoes in that range and insisted that I should buy a different pair called ‘Air Alaris’ which was priced at Rs 4995/- ..


                        As I had no other choice, I had to pay the difference amount of Rs. 2045/- for the new paid and just as I came out of the shop, I saw a better store selling exclusively NIKE shoes just a few yards away in the same building. I was shocked to see them selling the same NIKE ‘Air Alaris’ shoes for Rs. 3497/- . Besides they had much better choice than the first shop.



                        When I confronted the first store asking them how could they fleece & short change trusting customers by calling themselves as ‘FACTORY STORE’ and sell shoes for 30% higher price than their neighborhood shops. The store assistant or his Area Sales Manager Kanish Gautam could not offer any convincing reasons and it was obvious that they were out to cheat gullible customers by misrepresenting and mis-selling under the reputation of NIKE brand. Nor did they show any care for any customer satisfaction.


                        Generally people are misled by the term 'Factory Store' trusting it to be directly owned by the company and would offer best price. I realized that this was only a franchisee outlet owned by a company called SSIPL Retail P Ltd. and hence I felt cheated.

                        I hope my experience serves as a warning to customers who buy such expensive shoes or similar items blindly trusting the misleading words like ‘Factory Store’. There are many such stores in the Marathahalli signal area and people should be vigilant before spending their hard earned money at such outlets. I wonder why consumer laws are not strong enough in this country to take care of such fraudulent misrepresentation of global brands.

                          I purchased shoes of nike company having price 3000 INR (after 40% off of 5000) from MGF metropolitan shopping mall of Gurgaon. Within 40 days from purchasing date shoes get crack from upperside. I went to the shopkeeper for this , then he was saying he cant replace it , then he was saying he will repaired it . Firstly he was saying he courier the shoes to noida , then after this he was saying he courier the shoes to Banglore. After 10 days when i went to take the shoes , then he said that they can not repair the shoes.

                          As you know its cost is 3000 rs and shoes get crack within 40 days , now what is the use of shoes for me. Even if i puschase the local brand shoes of 500 rs they work for atleast 6 month and they give the replacement for any deffect.

                          This is the big loss for me , so please Replace my Shoes.

                            I bought a black nike cap bearing the nike logo on its front from S & D Enterprises, Indore on 09/10/09. Its style no. is 333027. The cap has started fading & a greyish colour has started to appear, does the company entertain any gaurantee claims?

                            I used to have an adidas cap before, i bought a nike cap just becase my nike shoes served me well, but i'm really not happy.

                              I bought a pair of Nike Air court shoes from Nike Store at Mysore on 27 Sep 09. WIthin three months o[censored]se, the outer leather covering of one shoe started cracking up. Having spent such a large amount of money on a world class shoe, one expects something better. Nevertheless, I tried to contact the Nike India on its website but was quite dismayed to learn that Nike India does not entertain complaints via e-mail. Talk of modern day communications of a world class company!!!!
                              this rely sux... i bought a nike leather finish model.. a week back... but i already see the finishing go bald n dull...

                                Dear Sir,

                                Had bought AS SS Cup Jersey and Nike Studs shoe (Product Desc-TOTAL90 SHOOT II HG, STOCK NO.[protected] from SSIPL Retail LTD- M/s Shivas Departmental stores (P) Ltd., DLF Place Mall, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi on 4-7-2009 vide bill No. SC9/1331. I understand these shoes are very tough & rugged meant for playing AS ALSO INDICATED BY THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION "HG" WHICH STANDS FOR "HARD GROUND".

                                But with limited use only the shoes are torn and have developed defects with the top portion of left shoe coming out of sole. I approached the shopkeeper who initially was not prepared to take these shoes for replacement. With great difficulty he kept the shoes with him and gave me a receipt. When I enquired after 2 weeks, his answer was that the claim is rejected by SSIPL, when I asked for written communication/reply letter from them so that I can lodge the complaint with the company, he said no written reply is available.

                                I would like to state the following:

                                We went to store three times, however the shoe was not available in the required size in the store. The shopkeeper insisted that the shoes would be available in two to three days, so we kept going off and on to the store to check the availability and buying it. Incidentally when the shoe was available in the store, there was a sale on that day in the store though I was prepared to buy it at full price provided the size would have been available on the very first day itself. I want to state that NO SALE stage or SALE stage should not make any difference on the quality of product on display i.e. it does not go bad so suddenly.

                                My shoes are presently with the shopkeeper only.

                                I bought these Nike shoes as I heard that you are a very good company and deliver a quality stuff.

                                I look forward for your favourable decision for replacement of the same.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter in regards to my customer rights. On the 9th of April 2009, I purchased a pair of Air Max 95', for £110, and for buying such an expensive item of footwear you expect them to last a long while. These were bought from JD Sports Burnley, branch - no 111. After just 2 weeks of buying these trainers I noticed the air system in the heel of the right trainer had popped. Due to this I returned the footwear to JD sports, in the box with the receipt. I was then told by staff that they would have to be sent for inspection at JD fashion PLC, (customer services). So I agreed for them to be sent off for inspection and was told I would hear from them within 2 weeks. 2 weeks had passed and i went into JD sports to check on the progress. It was then when I was told that the trainers could not be refunded or exchanged. I did not want to be refunded, all I wanted was a pair of trainers that were not faulty. To me, the services I was given seemed less than HUMAN. I was given the trainers back along with a letter saying that the damage was down to wear and tear, which really is impossible due to the fact I had only had the trainers for 2 weeks. I am sick and tired of being given the run around. I have been advised to take legal advice and take this matter further. First I wish to ask you for your help in solving this matter as soon as possible, as I have been pushed from pillar to post for too long. I would appreciate all your help.

                                  The same thing has happened to my right trainer, must be a fault in the production system. It is disgraceful that nike keep producing these trainers with the same defect and getting away with it. If you could let me know of any outcome you acheive that would be very helpful and i will do the same with you.

                                      I m Ruhi my no. is [protected] after talking with all ur executive the service which i have activated on my no.is because of all ur rubbish service my balance is being deducted every month. We r not that much rich to give money for charity... the caller ring tone which has got activated on my mobile just before 2 days ull have cut charges from my acc and again today on 13/112/2009 again ull are cutting the same amount from my acc n when I called ur executive said its for the previous 2 songs which was her befor as ur caller ring tone I dnt understand the thng which is not there only hw can charge for that???? N u rnot even informing ur customer before doing such stupid things. N u call it value added services for wat???? To fool people like this????? Hoping for proper explanation on this….
                                      i think you should move to consumer court so that u may get there healthy return after winning this case as your case is genuine so i am sure u ll win this case well i am raj from delhi

                                        Hello
                                        Customer care service & also th quality is decreasing by Nike. After mailing this, no postive action is taken from their end. I sent them 3-4 mails with some snaps also.

                                        I'm a loyal customer of Nike for many years now, may be from my School days. Not only me, our whole family has a fascination about using footwears from Nike. Very few times it happened that we bought shoes of other brands. I mean we were in an impression that quality & brand wise Nike is far far better than it's competitors. But for the last 2 years, our experience is getting worse as the quality probably is going down.

                                        Our experience has been terrible around 2-3 times in the past but, this time again a problem occurred with a shoe purchased from one of your outlets in Marathali, Bangalore during my official trip in the month of February 09. It was around of Rs. 2,700 & I've used it only around 10 - 15 times maximum in these months.The lower material of the sole got detached repeatedly, then I had to fix it with gum But then also it was coming out and in a very embarashing way one day in a function it just detached again. I didn't collect that part knowingly and came back home that way. Not only that the outer look of the shoes also got worst in very few days.

                                        It's now not possible to go all the way to Bangalore for this reason and I don’t have the Bill also. I just thought to write to you about this and it doesn't matter I get a replacement or not. If it can’t be replaced, I don’t have any issues but I want to return the pair of shoes to you officially so that you guys can check that, improve the quality. Atleast the other valued customers can trust your brand for your exceptionally good quality what is decreasing now. As the most prominnt footwear Company, you should give utmost importance on mantaining the quality.

                                        The last two pairs of shoes I have bought developed a squeek in them over time. The first pair of shes cost around 200 dollars and the next pair were under 100 dollars. After some time, when I wear them after it has rained they squeek! Nike's quality has gone down a lot over the last few years and I am currently trying to get a free pair out of them. That should be interesting!
