Hi Bought New Renault Pulse Car in June 2012. when i bought them the sale service (in Anna nagar) was really good.
I cant complain abt the Car either. it is awesome car so far (touchwood)..

Since Chennai has only one service center (Kiviraj, mount road) we have no other option. and there is nothing to complain abt my 1st service (as they don’t really check anything much except the carwash and vacuuming it)..

Second service was horrible.
my requirement was very simple, Just check the engine, change the oil, do under-body painting, wash the car.
after having the car for whole day, they manage to do only one thing change the oil. the car wash not proper, they dint clean the car inside, under-body painting was not done. so i took the car from the center after complaining it to the manager.

later the customer service person called and asked for feedback, so i gave 3/10. said the issue. then they sent a person to collect and redo the pending work after few days.

then i met with an accident, the insurance guy dint co-operate as much. he wanted to file 2 complain for same accident. since the body had damage on both the side. for which i did bcos i had no choice.

after the insurance was cleared. they delivered the car after a week

My car body painting was done in awful manner, u can see the painting layers like Waves and there was a spring noise while driving, the noise was coming from the door. which was very annoying. Car wash was very bad, some white color stains was found in the car bcos of the soap they used.
again i went to service person 2nd time asked them to fix it. this took another day.

finally i thou everything was fixed and started using the car. but again an issue in the car door. the painting was pealing off. could see the black color rust inside. when asked the service. they said they will fix it without any charge (as if i will pack for their mistake).

forgot to mention one more stuff.. I changed my car tyre 2wice. once it was a puncture (unfixable) and next time it burst while driving street.
service guys asked me question 'Did ur car tyre hit by a stone?'.. i replied him no i was flying the car (wat an A$# #$@#$)..

"tyre kallu mela pogama parakuma?"

when asked abt that. he said he cant do any.. so i had to pay 7k to change the tyres.

after so many incident, i got fed-up with their service.

Dono who will take responsible for these bad experience.

Now, the company is looking to try its luck once more by joining hands with Bajaj and introducing to the market a range of low-cost, good performance vehicles.Renault, and its Japanese partner Nissan, which is a decades old automobile giant itself, are now planning to enter India in 2012 with an affordable car for the Indian consumer, thereby joining a whole hoard of manufacturers who are looking to give the Tata Nano a head on competition. Currently priced at Rs. 115,000 ($2,480), the Nano has the honor of being the world's cheapest car."I don't want Renault and Nissan to be makers of very pretty cars people dream about but can't afford," Carlos Ghosn, who runs the Franco-Japanese car-making alliance, said. "We need an entry price that's very competitive".Although not much detail have been shared about the inexpensive automobile which will be a result of the Renault-Nissan-Bajaj partnership, Ghosn has said that it will be "amazing" and priced "lower than any car today made in India".Earlier the automobiles manufacturer had said that it would price its Indian project, which is being called ULC (Ultra Low Cost) for now, between $2,500-$3,000. But looking at the Nano's real ultra low cost, the range is expected go even further down.

    This is to inform you that we had made so many complaints for the logan car and tii now we had been facing so many problems till date . Aftre the problem told to you in the last mail , we had been penalised with heavy charges in maintainence of Logan car ,surprisingly we had run only 26000km in 4 years and faced so many problems. We had got engine overhauled in 15000 kms.and many other parts changed
    Now as we decided not to buy any renault vehicle any more ,we came to know about you ,we want to inform other consumers that the co. people are not intt. in giving any solution
    Can now we expect any consideration from co. for the trouble,harrassments and losses we had faced. Can we expect any better treatment if we think again to buy their vehicle. Please contact us with some senior officials to discuss .
    Hii i m jaiprakash from jaipur .I want to tell u about the about the automobile company Renault.the cars of the renault are very good but the dealers service is very poor......
    Renault has increased the prices of it's cars booked after sept.. Why? It's totally unfair & unethical for an automobile co to change prices after taking booking cheques at x pricing...have paid 50k in september for 110 ps top end duster... Will now b forced to cancel if the company persists with it's unprofessional ways... If renault can cheat once, they can cheat later also...

    Infact, why any co shud charge higher price after taking bookings at x price? It's totally profiteering & against norms.. Will take this up with higher mgt & cci also if reqd...

      I had bought a Renault Duster diesel 110 PS Rxl model no E2DTHP with a vin no MEEHSRA36CC013641 ON THE 02JAN 2013. I have given it for
      repairs to the service center at Indore on 21st jan 2013. Now I've been kept waiting till now and the repairs haven't started. The reason quoted is that neither the spares and parts have been shipped from Chennai nor is anyone aware when would they be shipped and when would I get my vehicle back. I have already logged a complaint at Renault Customer Care[protected]. I was told the back end team would call me up and follow up on this complaint. I still have recieved no response from them. I am also not been directed to any person where I can address my concern directly. It is causing me immense mental stress just waiting for my car. I was told that the vehicle would be handed to me in a month's time but since
      the parts haven't left Chennai no one is aware how much time the repair would take now. I was promised 30 days for 15 day job but that was okay as long as I was getting the car. The dealor here also says I will have to pay first and the I will get the insurance. I don't understand when one
      dealor sells me an insurance why does the other say there is no tie up for cash less repairs. All I want is my problem to be addressed at the earliest and let me know when would the parts required for my vehicle leave Chennai and reach Indore and when would my vehicle be handed over to me.
      It is very disheartening to experience such a poor after sales services from Renault. I'm in need of some help to get my duster back on road

      It is becoming very ugly now. I've been informed by the service manager here at Indore that the only part required by my duster to be repaired and become 'on road' would be dispatched from Chennai on 21st Feb 2013. This is 31 days after the vehicle was given for repair. And then it would take another week for it to reach Indore and then another 2-3 weeks for delivery. So this leads to almost 2 months for repair of one vehicle. I feel very helpless on this issue now. My complaint at Renault customer care[protected] is lying null and void. I was told the back end team would call but yet no show up from them. I want the part to be dispatched asap so that my vehicle can be repaired asap and I can drive it back from Indore to Pune as per initial promise of delivery of 20th Feb. I've made reservations and taken leave. And if this doesn't come up then I’m at financial loss and would cause a lot of mental stress.
      Does Renault care any about their customers and the mental stress caused to them? I doubt!!!

      Xcerpts from a telephonic conversation between a Renault Customer and Renault Customer care(CC) head:

      Customer: Could you the update me on the shipment of the parts reqd for repair of my veh?
      Renault CC head: The parts would be shipped from Renault Chennai no later then 13th Feb 2013 and reach the dealer at Indore end by 19th.
      Customer: The dealer had committed to deliver the vehicle on 20th Feb 2013 when the vehicle was got to teh service station on 21st Jan2013.
      Customer: On a follow up call made on 6th Feb 2013 with Renault Indore I was told that the parts would reach on 20th feb so he would need more time.
      Customer: That is when I approached the Renault Customer care and thereafter the other social media because of lack of response from your own department.
      Customer: You spoke to me on the 7th Feb 2013 and since then you have only expedited the shippment to reach Indore on 19th Feb 2013 instead of 20th Feb 2013?
      Renault CC head: Sir it's a difficult part and is being processed.
      Customer: What has Renault been doin since 21st Jan for the procurement and shipment of the part?
      Renault CC head: "silent" *Could be nodding to himself*
      Customer: Okay, even if you are shipping on 13th why is it taking 6 days to reach the dealer?
      Renault CC head: Sir, it is a regular shipping as demanded by the dealer.
      Customer: So when I've been speaking to you and following up since last five days requesting you to expedite things, Why was this not brought up?
      Customer: You could not make it a express shipping to reduce the no. of days since the customer has already waited so long enough
      Customer: And on the contrary I feel I have wasted those 5 days speaking to you because even after 5 days I was not given the clear picture.
      Customer: Nevertheless where is the part as of now(11th Feb 2013)?
      Renault CC head: Sir, The warehouse will be shipping it on 13th Feb 2013.
      Customer: No; I want to know where is that part right now?
      Renault CC head: The warehouse is processing it.
      Customer: Is the part in the warehouse?
      Renault CC head: It 'MUST' be there.
      Customer: This means that you aren't even aware where the part is as of now. So you have been doing nothing just buying time for Renault india and wasitng mine??
      Renault CC head: Allow me sometime to find out more details.
      Customer: You are buying more of my time and it would be a waste of one more day.
      Renault CC head: Sir i'll get back to you.
      Customer: Since you don't even know where the part is I don't think you can help me anymore. Is there someone above in the management chain who can help me?
      Renault CC head: Sir my boss is there, i'll ask him to call you.
      Customer: Please do inform me when he would likely call so that I keep myself free to talk to him.
      Renault CC head: Certainly sir.

      the Renault CC head calls again in sometime
      Renault CC head: Sir, my boss would call you tomorrow morning by 10'o clock.
      Customer: Why not now???
      Renault CC head: He'll have to check up with the parts dept and find out details before he speaks to you.
      Customer: and that would take 24hrs????
      Customer: *With No Option Left now waits for Mr Boss to call*

      And the Customer did not have a happy ending for yet another day!!!
      Issue is just toggling between the "Heads" of the department. No Commitment from Renault yet.
      Still no commitment, no update from the Head of the Department!!!
      I do have the same issue. I own Renault Pulse vehicle registration no is GJ-1-KQ-2058. My complain no is[protected]. My car is in service from last 1.5 month and had called so many times renault service and they are not doing anything. You won't believe one person named Abu from their customer service told me that their chennai plant is caught fire and due to that they will not able to ship my car parts.

      I am really disappointed by the Renault after sales service. I swear not buy any other Renault car.

      So people if you really want after sales service and believe me this is very important don't go for Renault. This company is not listening to the customer. Buy any good company car like Hyunday or Maruti but don't go for Renault cars because their customer service and after sales service is not good.

        I wrote mail to customer service department of Renault company containing problems which I faced while buying & after sales of car. All details of same as mentioned below. Still no one yet contacted me for solution on problems either from showroom or company executives.

        Mail details as follows:

        Kind Attention ,
        I Mr. Sandesh Vijay Ghorpade bought Renault Duster RXZ 110 PS vehicle from Gen -Next Motors, Andheri, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on Day 7th January 2013.

        I Already own Volkswagen Polo & Skoda Laura vehicles for which I'm really Satisfied with Before & After sales company services & policies.

        But About RENAULT , Starting from booking of vehicle day till toady I'm very dissatisfied & disappointed with overall service. It is of very poor quality & unexpected from Brand name Renault.

        I'm just listing out points where I suffered a lot, kindly go through it & take appropriate action on same.
        1. No proper explanation about vehicle neither technically nor accessories not even about comfort ness when I firstly visited showroom.
        2. Surprisingly I waited almost 15 minutes to get attended from showroom sales executive when I went for booking of vehicle.
        3. At time of booking only I clearly mentioned need vehicle delivery on 7th of January 2013, I got confirming commitments also regarding same. But still I really got frustrated to get delivery on committed date. Not a single executive were keeping follow ups , updates with me from booking day till delivery day. I only was trying really hard to get update about delivery of my booked vehicle.
        4. Two days prior before delivery date I confirmed twice with showroom sales manager for delivery time which he committed & scheduled on 1800 hrs, on 7/1/2013 with only a single accessory fitting as per our requirement i.e. mirror signal lamp. Still on delivery day morning 1100 hrs sales executive calls up saying will not able to give delivery today you take on tomorrow giving some nonsense excuses.
        Finally when I pressurize they given delivery on same day evening but without fitting required SINGLE accessory. I already paid accessory charge with vehicle payment in advance only, still this was situation.
        5. Later on Accessory manager committed to send executive to get accessory fittings done at my residential address on Sunday 13/1/2013. Till date no one came for same, not even single executive contacted to update about it.
        6. At time of delivery about documentation of vehicle a single file also was not offered to keep so much Important documents properly by sales executive.
        7. On delivery day we were waiting in showroom for at least 30 minutes unattended by any of executive not even asked for ' A GLASS OF WATER'.

        AT LAST I'm VERY MUCH AFRAID ABOUT AFTER SALES SERVICE OF YOUR COMPANY AS I GOT SO MUCH SPECIAL SERVICE BEFORE SALES i.e.DELIVERY OF MY VEHICLE.

        I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THAT EVEN IN VEGETABLE MARKET YOU GET MUCH BETTER SERVICE WHERE YOU ARE NOT SPENDING MORE THAN RUPEES 500 , HERE I PURCHASED A VEHICLE OF COST RUPEES 14,00,000 & THIS WERE ALL GREAT SERVICES I GOT OFFERED BY YOUR COMPANY EXECUTIVES.

        REALLY NEED TO THINK ON IT.

        Expecting a kind & swift positive response from your COMPANY MANAGEMENT. Also waiting for A SINGLE ACCESSORY FITTING INSTALMENT for which you already taken money from me.

          I have purchased Scala RXL on Nov 2nd with registered Number KA53MA1584 , & odometer reading around 3000 KMS, on 6th Jan , when I was driving to native , I was at speed of 40 -50 KM/hr , it didn’t not notice a pot hole on road , I didn’t not avoid the pot hole as it was very small as bus was coming in opposite side & road was narrow, after 1 Km , both left side tyres got puncture & disk got damaged, when I took tyre to puncture shop , they were not able to put the Puncture ,as damage as happen on side wall of the tyre, I didn’t have option ,but to put the tube.



          I took car to whitefield service center ,they have asked to claim the insurance as disk has got bend, but I was not able to understand at that speed if the disk got bent , there is some problem with the disk material.



          Issurance company has not given approval for tyres, Service advisor is saying it is an incident ,it cannot be given under warranty.



          After writing to customer care , waited for 10-12 days not received any feedback.

            Hi All,

            I had booked a Renault duster from the Panipat showroom in Haryana on 4th of July.. At the time of booking I was told that the car would be delivered to me by September 2012. Its december 2012 and the dealer hasnt delivered the car as yet. When I called up the dealer he told me that the car would be delivered by Feb 2013 now. ( a good 5 months from the promised date).

            I called up the renault customer care for assistance. It has been one of my life's most pathetic experience. Firstly there customer helpline automatically drops off. Once I connect through the stupid IVR, I am greeted by an executive who takes in all the details and then says he will talk to some "concerned" team and get back to me. This buffoonery has been happening since the last one week and no one has gotten back to me. They keep forwarding my calls and do nothing about it.

            I was also told by the customer care exec that as per their records the car has already been delivered by the dealer. The dealer obviously delivered my car to someone else. I am now contemplating getting my refund since I am too tired to speak to anyone in Renault. The dealer on the other hand does not answer my calls.

            Dont buy Renault, if before sales is this bad, am sure after sales would be worse !!!

              Hello,

              My self Rohan Naik. I have been cheated with one of mahindra service center since more than last 2 Months.
              I had face problem of my mahindra ranault logan 1.6 GLS break down in 1-Oct-2012. on 3-Oct-2012 I visit to Mahindra service center Silver jublee motors ltd. at pune pimpri for mechanical work of my car.

              after 2 days they told me that car's timing belt is break they need to change and car would be start working normally. I give them green signal to go ahead and replace it. after a 2 week they called me informed that car is ready please collect it from our service center when i went there and start a car engine was sounding weird(Cut cut cut) noise. i asked them that is was not sounding such a noise before that they give excuse that there is some problem in engine head they need to check.at that time they charged me 14000 Rs for timing belt replacement. then i asked them to check and fix these weird noise of engine. after 2 week analysis they come to know that car's engine head valve is bend because of that engine is sounding like that.

              I asked about cost to fix it they gave me 25000 Rs Max estimate i told them go ahead and fix it.they started work on 18-oct-2012 and on 7-Nov-2012 they called me and said car is ready i can collect it and bill amount was 36700 Rs. they not informed me that billed amount will raised such drastically. I asked them why are they charging me such big amount Whereas they gave estimate of 25000 Rs Max.Hence i said ok no problem i will collect it very next day and pay it. when i reach there and start my car for test car was not able to start itself. and i directly ask to their manager that i spend 50000 Rs and still my car is not working .their manager talk to engineers and they give me excuse that engine coil need to replace i asked then price for coil ,they give me coil price is 3900 Rs. and after a 2 week they again call me and inform that car is ready and bill was 53000 Rs. i suddenly socked and asked them that why it again increase from 36700 to 53000 they told me that they have to do starting overall.and i reach there and try to start car it was started but engine was not running smooth it was doing miss firing and car RPM dropping to 0 in ideal mode of car. on same they give excause of newly part added to engine that why its giving problem after day or two it will be work file.
              when i was going to home from car suddenly stopped and it was not able to start itself and engine oil was getting leaked. on Next day i went there and inform about it to their manager. he said they will fix it. they took car and in 3 hours called me back that its fixed it will work fine now. i went there pick up my car still engine was doing miss fire and car is getting high heat on dashboard when i asked them why its heating they gave same excuse it will be fine in 2 day automatically i was very disappointed and need to reach at my office so left from there going to office it again stopped and even not able to start. now again i am going there to fix same issue for which i have paid more than 65000 Rs, to silver jublee motors ltd.

              and other very shameless thing about them is in this 3 month when my car was in silver jublee motor ltd. service center they broken my cars mirrors,ac grill and dashboard tray. their manager promise me to give compensation on it but yet i haven't received any positive reply from them.

              Still My car engine is miss firing ,car is not getting started and car engine getting heat , full heat bar displaying on my car's dashboard.its all going on after spending/paying more than 65000 Rs to Silver jublee motor ltd. I am ready feeling very bad that why i gave my car to this service center.

                I am victim of poor services & harassment from dealer of Renaut. I have bough Dusrter RXL opt therough sprint car pvt ltd branch situated at east of kailash. After waiting of 4 monthe i have given delivery of thee product on 19the of Oc 2012, its been over a monthe since im following up for registration of thee car but unfortunately people handling thee branch are incompetent to revert. Its theeir normal approach not to attend cm on phone. despite of sevral visit theey are unable to update on thee same. more over entire team not willing to share thee detail of owner of thee dealership and company manager.

                I Have lost all hope and im sure Delhi Traffic Police soon detain thee vehicle.

                    I booked the Renault Duster in the first week of July, when it was launched at the South Delhi dealership (Kailash Colony). At the time of booking, the sales team put a delivery date of September 10, 2012, says that this was the maximum time and the vehicle will be delivered latest by end of August.

                    Since that day, I have not dieted any further information from them. Whenever I call of visit the dealership, I am told that the vehicle will be delivered in another two weeks. After waiting for over 3 months, I finally started getting upset and had a long discussion with the manager of the dealership and he told me that the variant &colour that I have booked is not being manufactured, which is a lie as my friend in Mumbai has got the same variant and color delivered (RXZ Red). I am now being asked to change the color or model to get a speedier delivery (within the next one month as compared to indefinite delivery period for my preferred model). After giving a delivery date in writing, can the dealership just disown the same so easily? This seems to be a sham to propel bookings and cash collections for products that are not getting delivered.

                    Please let me know what recourse I can take to ensure that large global companies do not take Indian customers for granted and cheat them.

                        I made a booking for the Renault duster on 29th June 2012. I was told at that time that the delivery would happen in 45 to 60 days, since i was the first few people to book i could get it even earlier. ( the launch happened on 4th july). In the last week of July I got a call from the sales executive at the dealership that I should make the complete payment in a couple of days as they had received 4 cars in the version and color I had booked and the delivery would be made to customers who pay first, so i instructed my bank to contact the dealership and the loan was disbursed to the dealership. Today after 3 months of booking, incurring interest on the loan and even 2 EMI deductions there is no sign of the car. On my last conversation with them 2 days go I was told if I wanted a different color I could get the car in a week else I need to wait (till when is not known). I have tried to speak o who ever I could get a hold of, the GM of the dealership has promised to ( as per the other staff) give me a call on at least 6 different occasions but ...no call. I have spoken to the area manager who has sympathised with me, but that's not very helpful. I have called the Renault customer service and have lodged complaints with them, but haven't seen a resolution....I am now looking at anyone who could help......please advice if you can help.

                        I hope you must have got the delivery by now, even we are facing the same problem at this point, we had booked it on 28th July, but till date (after almost 110 days)there is absolutely no sign of delivery. I am being told that the upper versions are being delivered on priority as there is more profit in selling those vehicles, to add to the my woes the company also said that they are delivering the upper lxz and lxz option versions within 5 days of booking, I think it is the company tact to convert lower version customers into buying the expensive ones and they keep piling on the upper versions in their production line on priority thus pushing customers like us further back in queue.
                        I had booked the 10.70 Lakh version.And now they are saying that there is no chance of delivery even by end of this month.
                        My Advice to Duster aspirants: If going for anything lower than 110ps diesel, expect waiting of not less than 160 days minimum.

                          I got booked 85 PS diesel Rxe Duster on 05.07.2012. At that time I was told delivery in 1st/2nd week of August 2012. I am regularly in touch with Renault Dealer West Delhi for specific date for delivery of my booked Duster Car. Nobody is sure about the expected delivery date at the dealers end. I have got the vehicle financed from bank and the bank is forcing me to avail the same. I am in a fix whether to wait or get the booking cancelled.

                          This is simply an unfair trade practice adopted by such a renowned car maker company in India. They are cheating and creating amass on the money of innocent buyers.

                          Please do/suggest something

                            Renault India launched their Duster on 4th and I booked on 6th of July. Since the time of the launch there have been customers who have got delivery of their vehicle prior to me although their booking was done after me.
                            I took this matter up with Mr. Len Curran, who stated that the cars are assembled in batches, there fore the delay. They have had an over whelming response to the launch thus the production had to be retuned.
                            Amazingly over looking the fact that those who have been waiting for their cars are now being coaxed to upgrade to a new variant called 110-RXL(option). This model was not available at the time of the launch and is an addition that I happen to see in Renault West Delhi today.
                            The organization has over looked the demand of those customers who booked the model that was available at the time of the launch and instead have come out with a newer version thus making a few extra bucks on this one. Obviously the customer would have to either wait or upgrade, both ways the organization will make money.
                            I presume that this step of not meeting the current requirement that was booked and instead launching a new variant is illegal as the customer who have booked are unnecessarily being made to wait, with no definitive answer to date of delivery.
                            Two irregularities that have come up are
                            1. The Organization is not following first come first serve basis. The delivery is happening at the wishes of the dealer to whom they want to oblige.
                            2. Instead of first supplying against the bookings in hand,the organization has launched a new variant into the market, thus making the customer either upgrade or wait.

                            I am also facing the same issue.
                            And the worst part is Renault Customer Support team is either arrogant or not replying to your queries at all.
                            I have been interacting with them from a long while and i have never received a definitive answer from them.
                            They say contact the dealer and the dealer says contact Customer Support.
                            If this is the kind of service they are offering now, i really doubt what kind of after sales service they will provide.


                            If Renault really wants to make a mark in India, it seriously has to improve its customer service.
                            I do feel the same observation as noticed by my other friends. I also wrote too many times, but no satisfactory reply till date.

                            I’ve booked Renault Duster RXZ Car at Padam Cars Pvt. Ltd Ludhiana, on 7th Aug’ 2012, by giving Rs. 50, 000/-. At the time of booking, I have been promised that the car would be delivered in 3-4 Months time. I kept on enquiring from the Padam Car’s staff regarding the delivery status, which they never confirmed. On 3rd of Oct’ 2012, I was asked by the dealer to take the delivery of car, but due to some preoccupation, I went on 4th Oct’ 2012. After completing the formalities of delivery, the sales staff asked for the payment according to the increased rates, which they told are affected from 1st of Oct’2012. I showed them the copy of Renault’s press release, clearly mentioning that new rates would be applicable from 1st of Oct’2012, but for early adapters of ‘Duster’ who have shown faith in Company, old rates would be applicable up to Aug end bookings. Despite my repeated attempts to convince them that my car is booked on 7 th Aug’2012 they kept on asking a payment of Approx Rs. 54, 000 /- extra as the difference between the old and new price.
                            They kept me waiting for almost three hours and harassed me for over paying. When I talked to Mr. Amarjit Mehta, CMD of M/s Padam Cars, he clearly asked me to pay the increased price for taking immediate delivery or else wait for another month or two, if I want to take delivery on old price. I could not understand this sort of customer harassment at the dealer’s end for such a renowned International brand. I have been kept waiting for almost three hours even after completing the formalities for the delivery like washing etc.(they had put the Car Chasis No, Engine No, Key No etc on the file. I felt cheated and humiliated at your dealer’s hand. I have been following Renault’s Duster for quite long time and have great respect for the Renault as a customer centric Brand, but experience like this is least expected from your Co’s dealer. Please enquire this matter at your end let me know the exact status.
                            Having gone through all the harrowing stories of duster bookings, I have a feeling that Renault India should urgently address the matter immediately, or else it will create negative impression of the company, which is still strugling to establish its brand image in India.I am also a victim of Renault Dealer of Silliguri.I had booked Duster in March 2012, by paying Rs.50, 000/-, and made full payment of 85 PS RXE Diesel, on 17 sept, but the dealer is not giving any confirmation as to when my vehicle will be delivered?I feel greatly cheated and am thinking of cancelling my booking.But the problem is will they refund my money?Or consumer court is the only alternative.
                            I too booked Renault duster 85ps RXE diesel in july with initial waiting period around 3 months in hyderabad.Now it seems to be indefinite period for that model and they advise upgrade to other model with waiting period.Renault is screwed-up company and junk dealers.Simply hopeless customer care.It is not worth waiting for duster and advice people not to waste their time for such idiotic company.

                            Renault the French car company have made a new mark in India, they decide what colour car and what model car you drive, if you book a white duster u will be offered a different colour after 6 months of waiting and also a different model so keep up renault .we indians are fool
                            We had booked a Duster (RXL, 104PS) on 22.02.2013 through your dealer Sprint Cars Private Limited by giving booking amount of Rs.50, 000/- copy of cheque and Customer Order Form attached. We had been assured by one Mr. Ashish Bhargava (ASM, Ph – [protected], [protected]) that he shall ensure the delivery of the vehicle by 06.03.2013. As an outer limit, he had mentioned the delivery date on the customer order form as 15.03.2013. As the verbally assured delivery date of 06th Mar 2013 approached, we followed up with Mr. Ashish Bhargava regarding the delivery and he kept on assuring that the vehicle is in transit and he shall any how fulfil his commitment of delivery on 06.03.2013. Infact on 05.03.2013 he even said that he is getting the chasis number and engine number of the vehicle and shall give delivery by 09.00 AM on 06.03.2013. However on 06.03.2013 he did not answer any calls and repeated calls at the landlines were answered by receptionist stating he was out of office. When we informed the receptionist about the mis-selling done to us she put us across to one Mr. Kapil Sharma (Corporate Manager Ph. [protected]). When we spoke to Mr. Kapil he surprisingly told that the vehicle is not available as on date and Mr. Ashish is in some training. As for the commitment of Mr. Ashish, he said he is unable to comment on the same and he in turn offered to commit the delivery within 1-1.5 months!

                            This is a clear case of extracting booking amount from the customer by making wrong commitment and then harassing the customer. It is very surprising to have such an experience from a reputed multi-national company like Renault.

                            Despite being on the receiving end we chose not to take legal action and since we needed the vehicle before March 31st we asked Mr. Kapil to cancel our booking and refund our booking amount (copy of mail appended below). For this also he assured that the cheque shall be delivered at out office by 12.03.2013. Then again when the committed date came, Mr. Kapil also stopped taking calls, seems this is the corporate policy at Renault for harassing customers!

                            By virtue of this mail, we intend to bring this case of Customer Harassment to the notice of Renault India and expect the company to take appropriate action against this dealer and help us in getting our booking amount back.

                            Services at both da dealer in sector 62 is pathetic. The day they delivered the vehicle they kept wait ing all day. Charged 28400 for a kit that is no more than 7000 rupees. I am sitting in the service center for first service since last 2 hours but and they don't even have the driver to drop me at home. No work started yet and no attention to customer. A driver took us to drop and on the way he asked us to get down and take riksha. I asked him to, drop me back to device center. The interactive ion was pathetic.
                            I am embarrassed with the experience of the European brand in, India.
                            still not sure if they will be able to, continue in India like this.

                            have booked Renault Duster RXL ( white Color) at Renault Dehradun, Uttarakhand dealer ( Dee Dee Cars Pvt Lt) on 12th Jan, 2013. At that time I was told that it will be delivered within 3 months.
                            It has been over three months but still there is no information about the delivery. I am also not getting any update from Dealer.
                            Attitude of the Dealer is pathetic and always give answer like 'We donot care'. It seems either the co or dealer is making fool. How it is possible that an international brand who want to set in Indian market is not clear when they can deliver the vehicle even after more than 3 months. 1- 2 weeks delay is understandable but more than and even after that no commitment, it shows that company is making fool of the people and giving false promise.
                            I bought Renault Duster before about one week from a dealer M/S Roharsh Motors, Baner Pune . While buying the car i was assured of good service support by sales people. On 25.05.2013 my new car got struck by a truck damaging left hand side front portion of car. After inquiring with dealer i was told that i am personally supposed to take the car to their workshop at Wagholi ( which is about 50 km away from Showroom). Thereafter on repeated requests they agreed to send the damaged vehicle through their driver and the same was sent today ( 28.05.2013). After inspecting the vehicle Service Adviser today informed me that the required part is not available with them and it will take minimum 15 days time to get the part. I am trying to get contact details of senior officials of Renault India but no contact is available except ‘Custer Support’
                            I say & reiterate that i am really worried about future service support & quality of service of Renault India. I have committed a blunder by buying this vehicle in respect of service support. I would suggest the company not to sell more vehicles unless they build a strong service support.
                            I have other 2 Maruti vehicles with me, whenever i need any support their service van along with mechanic visit the spot without any delay.
                            I had purchased a Renault duster, WB 02AC 3080, 4 months back. It met with an accident in the first month itself.  The car is under repair with the Renault kolkata central service centre for over '3 months' and yet only 40% of the work has been completed. The service centre complains that it is the company's fault as it is not receiving the required parts. 
                            i had booked a Renault Duster on[protected] with reciept no 2104 at SRI SRI SRI automobiles, nagole road, hyderabad.
                            it was scheduled to deliver with in three months i.e approximately by[protected], As my booking amount cheque was cleared on[protected],

                            Though waiting till May after recieving a call to take delivery for a high end model, i requested for cacellation of my booking and refund of advance booking amount of Rs 500000.00, on[protected], no action was taken,

                            THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER RECTIFIED AND AFTER 20 CALLS AND THREATEN TO CALL MEDIA THE TOOK MY CAR TO SERVICE STATION

                            I WAS TOLD A PART CALLED BMC NEEDS REPLACEMENT AND IT WILL TAKE 20 DAYS TO COME FROM CHENNAI (THERE ARE 20 FLIGHTS A DAY FROM CHENNAI). EVEN A TRUCK WILL ONLY TAKE 2 DAYS ????

                            I HAVE BEEN RUNNING FROM PILLAR TO POST AND NOW I AM SUEING THEM FOR AGONY AND HARASSMENT

                            I own a Renault Duster white 110 PS RXZ bearing registration number -PB 65 Y 9303 and have problems with it.
                            The driver seat is not stable and moves back and forth while driving and also while applying brakes.
                            This is not at all safe and I don't feel safe driving it at all.
                            I took it to the service station in Panchkula and they changed the bush for the seat which made it a little better but the problem still exists.

                            It was not like that when I first bought it and I am shocked to find out that there are such problems with a car which is not even 6 months old
                            I spent Rs. 1200000 on it and I am not happy with it at all as it is not safe at all since the seat is unstable.
                            First I called the Renault Toll free number who connected me to Mr. Shashi.
                            First of, he is too unprofessional in dealing with customers and keeps arguing on each and everything.
                            I need this to be fixed ASAP or I'll bring this to media and court of coarse.
                            Either you guys help me or I will ask the government and media to help me.

                            Please look into the matter urgently.

                                A STAFF REPORTER
                                Two realtors were arrested in Ballygunge on Tuesday on the charge of duping a woman of nearly Rs 1 crore. Police said Saroj Jhunjhunwala and Asish Ruia were held on the basis of a complaint filed by Hemlata Ragani last month.

                                According to an officer, Ragani said she had paid Rs 1.08 crore to the accused — who run a construction firm — for building a mall on a plot owned by her in Rammohan Mallik Garden Lane in south Calcutta.

                                “The woman handed over the money to the firm in mid-2009,” said city detective chief Damayanti Sen.

                                Ragani alleged that the firm did not carry out any work and she asked for her money back in November. “They gave back only Rs 12 lakh two months ago and promised the rest within a fortnight. But they have not returned the money yet,” said an officer.
                                NDRDC is taking a very long time to give any kind of relief.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  This refers to the service and repair works of my Mahindra Logan Car MH02 JP 2990, model GLX 16 Sahara Biege, the service station in question is G3 Motors, Plot7, Spectra Ground, Ram Chandra lane extn, Kanch Pada, malad west, Mumbai 400064. Mr Hussain Shaik, SA - name.

                                  1. RO bill no RBC 12B 005778 dated 15.11.2011 - Car was given for service, back wheels suspension noise and starting problem. The company did a service of Rs 10662 and stolen 10 ltrs of petrol from car. My Driver protested and no credible action was taken. The company identified that the steering barrel with switch is the problem replaced and quality of car service was worst seen in my 30 years in Mumbai from any service dealer. They delivered car after four days for a minor repair, with lot of requests and bargaining, they wasted customer's faith and patience. battery and car serviced all reported OK ( Pls note battery OK)


                                  2. RO bill no. RBC 12B 005964 dated 21.11.11, The car starting problem existed while starting. They identified the petrol tak is 80% full but marked as 30% in log sheet driver protested ( modus operundi is like this of steeling petrol) but assured will be returened as it is, as log sheet is ticked and cannot be altered. The starting trouble they diagonised as starter problem and needs MICO servicing and demanded another 4 days repair time. on third day reported that starter is ok and battery is dead. ( they have short circuited a good battery) and stolen another 10 ltrs of petrol this time, driver protested but no action take.

                                  My report: 1. The theft of petrol 20 ltrs was purposefully done, need refund and an apology from dealer.
                                  2. The car was wrongly diagonised and repaired with unwanted repair of Rs 10,622/ + new battery cost of Rs 10000 ( Excide DIN 60) + 20 ltrs petrol cost Rs 1500?- ( total Rs22, 122) and wastage of 8 working adys with wrong repairs.
                                  3. irresponsible behaviour by staff and service manager.

                                  Kindly forward this message and I need a full refund with apology and a service defect acceptance from dealer, before I move further to expose dealer.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I am really sorry to own Logan car as far as service is concerned.
                                    This is to inform you that i Mrs laxmi banoriya bought a new car Mahindra Renault Logan GLX 1.4 Engine no.UG58271 in 16th of march 2010.me and my family member were really very happy when we are buying the car and the behavior of the dealer was also quite good. but today me and my family is facing a great problem. we are really sorry that we have select Mahindra Renault.


                                    we have facing a problem after 3 months of purchasing a procedure of free service is completed by us which is as per schedule.and i inform the problems to the service manager which is stated below.

                                    PROBLEMS.

                                    1:-Their is a gear shifting problem in reverse gear the service manager called the person who solved the Electronic problem of car. he take a test drive of a car and told me that it was working properly.

                                    2:-A new vehicle is not taking a load of five people.

                                    3:-A vehicle wiring is also creating a great problem for us.fuses are fluctuating and damaging constantly which is big problem to open/close our windows,engine cooling fan and center locking which is harmful to the security purpose of a vehicle.

                                    4:-Left side rear door is making noise while closing it


                                    These are the problems to which are inform to the service manager 10 times .but their problems are not resolved till date. we are facing lots of inconvenience regarding service procedure nobody at the service station is taking a measurable steps and the behavior is also not good so i request the Mahindra company please black listed these types of service station who are taking down your market goodwill and please short out these above listed problems also.

                                    i shall be highly thankful to you to take some immediate action to short out these problems

                                      I am using Logan for the last 3 years, milage used is 23000 Kms. Last month the accelerator was getting stuck, the gear and clucth became very hard, driving was a real pain and it felt like the car was being forced to move. Immediately the car was sent for Service to Sterling Motors, Faridabad, where they assured rectification of all three, the accelerator stucking problem was solved, gears are still tight, as for the Clutch the Service Centre recommended to change the Clutch Wire, it was changed during Service.
                                      Presently the situation is the same, clutch is still very hard. Repeatedly the Car has been taken to Sterling Motors, where they checked and reverted back saying that the Clutch will have to be changed.
                                      Each time I sent the Car, the opinion was different, one mechanic even said that the problem is gear-box.
                                      Last week I sent the car for the repair of Clutch, but they refused to make the recommended repair. As per the Service Manager & Mechanic, the change of Clutch would not give any benifit, improvement would be only about 5-10%. Their opinion is that the all these Petrol Cars give Clutch problem after 20000 kms.
                                      If this is the feed-back of the Service Centre, Mahindra should discontinue this vehicle and launch it after complete rectification of the Mechanical Problem. Kindly note 23000 Kms running is not much from a vehicle of this size and at this Cost. There are many more cars in the same segment wihout such problems. I think I made a blunder by buying this Car when it was newly launched. Some Manufacturing Defects still exist. Contact No. [protected]

                                      I completely agree what Savitha has said about the clutch tight problem with the Logan car. I took many times to the India garage service center in Bangalore, but they could not rectify the issue. First time he has lubricated entire clutch set, then change the cable and changed the entire set, still the problem exists. I am fine with the car performance expect the clutch problem. I have started gettting pain in my leg because of the hard clutch.
                                      I too Agree with all of you. My doctor suggested me to stop driving because of pain in my leg.

                                      please reply back if any one got any solution for this.
                                      The same problem is with me the serivce people say to change the clutch plate and after that it will become smooth and not that much as we get in other cars.And I think that clutch plate should get change when it get totally burn.

                                      So it requested you to kindly solve the problem as earlier as you can.

                                      I too have a same issue (Hard Clutch) with my Logan DLE 1.5 2008 model. I have been to Mahindra service center to find some solution to this problem but no use. Can we have some solution to this problem. I understand from Verito drivers that their clutch is very smooth. Can Mahindra install the Verito clutch to Logan? if not provide some solution to Logan issue

                                        I have purchased a Logan in Goa .i have two problems for now and the management seems to be covering their .
                                        problem 1) There is a flaw in the ventilation ac system as the rats find it easy to enter the car ,i have other cars maruti parked in the same parking but in 20 years i have never had a incient with any of the rats getting in my car.i had to pay around 7000 rs for the companys screw up.the service station manager answered by giving me like your vent for inlet air must have been open (it was closed i double checked it).we are studying the problem.result i am poorer by 7000rs in addition to the waste of time and subjected to torture in the form of '
                                        Problem 2) The doors are the front seat door is rattling .i was advised by the technican i have to update to the new strikers fitted on the new cars and that will cost me 250 rs each striker minus the labour now why in gods name should i shell out money for the imperfections from the company.the service centre answers you had to avail extended warranty we would have covered it free,i was never expained about the future defects in my car ,secondly i did not opt for extended warranty as i do not cover the required kms to make it worth the warranty. what should i do besides praying .

                                        The company / service centre should rectify the defects immediately or it looks like the consumers have been taken for a ride
                                        It seems that all the Mahindra service providers have done docterate in Cheating. I had also paid th e company's service provider for installing the front door strikers. Not only this, I have suffered more then this. It seems that company people are also involved with dealers and working by forming a cartel.

                                        If there would been an award the My area Service provider M/s P. P. Automotive should be decorated /awarded for the cheating and arrogent behaviour, who is not hesitent is asking Rs. 500/- just for giving an estimate for the front glass. The hight of cheating/lawlessness is that they put the same diesal fileter, during service, while they even charge for it. As you can not proove to them.
