Bad experience at Madhapur Renault servicing center Hyderabad.

I have had a very bad experience at Madhapur Renault servicing center at Hyderabad owned by SriSriSri Group. Its been 3 servicing i have done for my vehicle Renault but every time I get a very poor response and in addition to that I see the technical team there are unskilled and no expertise.I ahve raised several complaints and even posted on face book and tweeter but no improvements., I have attached the snap where they have pinned...

    Brought a brand new Duster Adventure 110PS Black On 18th Oct, 2014 from Renault Showroom Kailash Colony, New Delhi, Delhi 110048, India So there are few serious issues i'm facing with this car-Picture are attached. Its only 3 months that i have brought this car. 1.Both the headlights are supposed to be sealed units 1.1 But i recently discovered an insect in the headlamp assembly. 1.2 And In the other Light there are moisture marks as per the Picture attached. 2. The painted surface is prone to scratches.(We are using cars for last 40years but never faced such an issue) this is despite the fact that we got the car Paint protected coating done by the Authorized Renault Okhla service center within a weak of buying as we found the surface to be very prone to scratches. Right now the car has gone through another paint protection coating from the same service center, still there is no change. At service center this issue was not found among other Dusters. And the service center failed to explain it. 3. The paint is chipping of (1.5 - 2mm Dia) without any sign of even minor dent indicating nothing has hit the surface.       Hi, I am Rahul L R, practising as an advocate in Trivandrum district court. I am a reputed customer of your company. I purchased a Renault Duster on[protected] from T V Sundaran Iyengar Sons & LTD, Square N H Bypass, Muttathara, Vallakkadavu, Tvm. My vehicle (KLO1-BS-6688) was damaged and I handed over my vehicle to your company's garage for repairing on[protected]. But till this date, your reputed company has not, complied or cure my vehicle's defect. For the last 19 days my vehicle is idling in your custody without attention. So it can be treated as a deficiency in service.It is the company's responsibility to provide sufficient vehicle parts to the customers. It is the duty of the company to provide the required parts as and when required by the customer. If you are not providing the parts or services as per the customer requirement, it can be treated as illegal trading. So you should be liable to pay compensation for deficiency in service and other damages which happened due to this deficiency. .         hard clutch

        I am using duster 110bhp since 28 months and had driven 39500km.From then on i facing issue of very hard clutch which is giving pain to left leg.We had told the service people about these problem and they say it is ready .After 1 month it becomes to very bad condition.we are in a state that no one in my house and our drivers are not ready to drive . while comparing our duster with others it is very hard.Another main issue is about the poor...

        my duster wood and door hv worst sounds...aur 4 time service krvane ke baad bhi awaz nahi gai...aur service adviser kahte hai yeh to company fault hai ye to nahi jaega...aur after 30000 km clutch bhot hi hard ho jaegi...aur gear shifting me bhi problem aayega...ishka b company ans nahi de rhi hai...aur drive qulity bhot khrb krta hai yeh clutch...aur ha radiator aur ac jo hai uske uske support weak hai aur woh kahi bhi bump kud gai apki gadi to smaj lena woh suport tut hi jata hai...ye bhi company fault hai...aur us nradiator ko repair krane ke liya naya hi dlwana padega...ya phir kahi thok ke insurnace:)

          Dear Renault I m really unhappy with the service I was provided at the sambalpur(odisha) Renault showroom on 20th of January this year.poor staff assistance, poor washing and cleaning facility, after the servicing still my problem not solved my A.C is not working properly. Power window of driver side stopped working after poor handling by the cleaning staff. Many more issues are there to solved and verified urgently at the service point ..its seriously damaging company reputation.

            I have bought pulse in 2012 and recently met with small accident took it to rajamundry show room and got it repaired by whooping bill of 97000 how ever repair was not properly done they delivered my car after that i got major engine complaint with in 1 day after delivery when i notified about this they are opting for new engine which costs around 3 lac 95thousand which is rediculous in which even insurance will not be covered too its been 1 month still no response from company side and the staff at rajahmundry are pretty rude and arrogant.

            Hello Mr. Reddy,

            Your referred concern has been thoroughly evaluated by our team and our investigation reveals that the bill of 97000/- INR spent towards the accidental repair on vehicle body repairs & nowhere the same relates to the engine damages, for which the vehicle has reported to dealership in the month of Jan 2015. However we also observed there were repairs performed in the vehicle by outside service centres/local garage and periodic scheduled maintenance is not adhered as per warranty policy.

            The engine damages/repairs are primarily due to non- adherence of periodic maintenance schedule/services in our authorised service centres due to which the repairs cannot be extended under the purview of warranty. Our team has also shared a detailed mail to your email ID on this regard.

              Duster - Power Steering - Stops Working

              Hi, I have Renault Duster 110 PS 2013 model. I am facing issue with the Power Steering which suddenly before coming back on after a few seconds. Te steering becomes real hard as if I am driving a truck. I have taken my car to Trident Renault (Whitefield, Bangalore) at least on 3 earlier occasions however the issue persists. And every time I was told that it has been fixed. Today again I have left it at the Service Center for the problem...

              Sir, I am a person who is using duster diesel full option since 2 years.from the starting it self its giving me trouble on the clutch which is very hard.when it is asked in service center they say that the updation hasn't come.since i have driven 45000km its hard for me to use .since this its giving me pain on my leg mostly in city drives.so kindly find a solution for the clutch which is seen in all dusters except the new awd version thanking you, prajul ([protected])
              Hi Guys,
              I have been driving a Duster since the last 2 years. But for the last 1 year, I have been having pain in my left leg (the leg used to apply the clutch). When I do not drive for a few days the pain goes away and comes back immediately when I start to drive again. I have visited various Orthos and have also done an MRI to check if there is a problem with my joins, bone or nerve. But there no issues there.
              I have tried the seat adjustment (forward and backward), (back inclinations). It has not helped. On my first service, I also told the service rep and he said he is oiled the clutch.
              The pain persists. Now, I am thinking of the selling the Duster (a car that I love otherwise).
              Have anyone had this kind of pain while driving a Duster. Is there a solution, lowering the seat, etc.
              Please advice. I will really appreciate it.

                Hi,

                I am Ravi Kiran Y and I work in the IT Services industry as a Client Partner. I purchased a brand new Duster AWD RXL model from Trident Auto, Silk Board, Hosur Road on 26-Dec-2014.

                After 150 KMS of drive, in the middle of the road, the Clutch failed to function. This was not only a nuisance and embarrassment on the road but also impacted my New Year travel plans.

                I am very disappointed at Renault the French Auto maker failing to live up to its reputation. I am also surprised on how such a vital and basic part (clutch) can malfunction that too for a brand new unit.

                I raised a complaint with Renault and requested them to replace the unit with a new car that was thoroughly inspected and quality certified. I have also requested them to submit a report on the root cause of the issue and HOW / WHY the issue would never recur ever again.

                Apparently, this issue never occurred for earlier variants of Duster and could be specific to AWD 4x4 model.

There was no damage to Radiator and no traces of coolant leakage were found at the incident place. Vehicle was driven for about 13 kms; smoke was noticed in the front & stopped the vehicle. We were surprised to see the smoke, called 24X7 road side assistance and arranged the vehicle to get towed to RENAULT Whitefield, Bangalore. At the service center we were shocked to hear from Technician that the engine is seized without any inspection. As this was 18 months old and comes under warranty period. The complainant made a complaint at the customer care of the Renault India, complaint number:[protected] dated 13Nov2014 as attached Annexure-II(e-mail communications), this complaint is regarding the request for investigation by the opposite parties on the Engine failure especially valve door melting lead to Vehicle STOP and Engine seize. Melted Valve door cover photos in Annexure-III. That the complainant party submits that, Renault India & Trident Renault Bangalore did not investigating and also not providing the root cause, failure modes for the Engine valve door cover melting. Both the opposite parties playing a safe game because engine comes under warranty and behaving arrogantly during our visits, telephonic call and not replying to the email communication. Service manager from Trident Renault agreed that failure is not so common checked with other Engine Manufactures confirms the same. Believe that whatever information that I have requested was sensible and as a customer I got a Right to ask because we have paid for the vehicle. More over the information that I am seeking is non-proprietary in nature and need to explain to customer if they asks. As Opposite parties failed to provide the complete report, failure modes even after the repeated requested done by the complainant. The only detail provided by the opposite party is attached as annexure II. I’m suspecting the Quality of the plastic material used for the valve door cover that led to failure of engine. Estimate for repair from Trident Renault costs 2.29 lakhs is almost 38~40% of the vehicle cost (8.75 lakhs). Based on the estimate and Arrogant behavior we decided to take back the vehicle from Trident Renault . I request your kind being to educate Renault India & Trident Renault for their arrogant behavior and to pay the same amount which they have quoted 2.29 lakhs plus charges rupees 60, 000/- for the inconvenience caused to the customer.

But, to make my problems even louder to Renault engineers, please go through my mail thoroughly & understand if you can, before giving me any stories/ clarifications. First, about the major problem-Engine Noise Well, as per my discussion yesterday with the Vardhman Cars CEO- Mr. N N Murli & Area Manager- Mr. Gaurav Negi, the noise cannot be rectified further & it would stay in my car always. However, when I gave my vehicle at workshop during last 2 visits, I was told that it would definitely go away by changing ECM & upgrading the software. However, to my surprise the noise became higher after this repair. There is a whistling sound which is coming even at an rpm of 1500. This whistling sound was never there & got added only after my last visit dated 30.08.14. Don’t understand how? I am being told that it is the sound of turbocharger, but where was it when the vehicle was new. Was my turbocharger not functional in initial 1.5 months & why did it get activate only after service dated 30.08.14? Strange... Why was this repair required, if the engineering team knew that the problem is irreparable? Were the service technicians not clear with this aspect, why did they waste so much time making fool of me. The stupid reason which is being given is absolutely a crap theory- "there is an up gradation of some emission norms". If Renault upgrades it further tohigher level- would it further increase noise in vehicle? What is the R&D team doing to eliminate that? Are the emission norms being implemented at the cost of the quality/ comfort of the end user. How does the engineering team validate the process of putting in emission norms viz-viz ride quality &engine refinement? How are other manufacturers maintaining lower noise levels with same emission norms? I especially test ridded cars in same segment like- Ecosport & even Terrano which shares common platform with Renault. There is no such noise & the engine was completely silent & insulated of such musical engine sounds.Funny! Now, about other irritants which have made my opinion even crisp, to hate Duster. And, mind it they are also unresolved even after many repairs/ replacements. I would not be asking for a resolution to these concerns as I have decided to return the vehicle to your stocks. However, need an answer as a consumer on below issues which have harassed me!! · The rear door locks are too notchy & give a cranky noise when pushed into latch position, giving a feeling as if door is left unlocked. This never happens in any car.first time in my life... The service guys tried doing some tricks but failed to address the concern. This poor finish of the lock assembly is so embarrasing that I have to at times hide it from family / friends, hearing it. Even, some of them pointed once that - "you should re-check the door lock to ensure whether it is locked appropriately". Feels as if the latch is getting obstructed by some metal part rubbing against it. I am not confident over the safe locking ofthe doors & am afraid of a safety threat to my family/ riders. Hurts meafter spending my hard earned money- Rs. 10.5 lacs. Need an answer! · The boot lock is gain noisy when lock/unlock button is pressed from the remote. Feels as if somebody hammered my door from inside to lock the dickey. I tested this in all dusters & it is common among all of them. It's for sure a cheap quality lock. Saddened by this level of quality. Need an answer! · Initially, I had reported an issue with the volume buttons. The technician tried replacing with new ones. But, to my surprise, out of 3 pieces he tried, none worked. Finally, this was resolved by replacing my system with some other spare panel. If, in a single day, I could see 3 faulty systems, wonder how cum this is not known to the company yet. Few other concerns of mine, after using music system for few weeks. Huge dissatisfaction factor on my driving comfort & safety. The music system behaves weird. If I mute the USB/Aux/CD/FM, it resumes back in case I attend a phone call or make phone call. Why should it resume back when I had given a mute command to the system. If I attend a call or cancel the call- system should go back to the mute mode. Have never witnessed such foolish flaw even in the cheapest china made music systems available for Rs.1500. This is so disturbing that, supposing- if my kid is sleeping in the car & I had muted the sound to make is sleep comfortable; then, I would never expect the music system to come back with a bang to disturb his sleep. Also, I cannot cancel/ end call using the end button on the steering mount control button. To use this button, I need to wait until call gets connected. Then only, I can cancel call from steering control. I cannot even use this button to mute or to cancel an incoming call. I have to press silent button or cancel button on my phone. Would it be safe for the driver to look out for his phone in order to cancel/ mute the incoming call, which is disturbing his drive. Sometimes, I am forced to attend the call in order to make it silent. A huge safety risk!! Is it really a “so called” steering mount control? And, is it appropriately designed? Am confused whether system is controlling me or I am controlling it. Funny again!! In mute mode, if my engine stops/ restarts- system is itsel[censored]n muted. Passengers have to unnecessary listen to the sounds, which were actually on mute mode few moments back. A simple software tweaking would have addressed this issue.But, I think your engineers probably never tested the system before offering it as a feature. Again, a cheap quality job on the music system. Need an answer! · Front wipers are so rough on the windshield that they literally rub against the glass making scratching sound. I told about all these defects to service guys & they said that it would be corrected during 1st service. My 1st service is already done & all these issues stand unresolved. This has again to do with the finish quality of such an important element of the car. This rubbing sound is never ever there in any vehicle even if you run it without water/ soap solution. · The plastic body, underneath &around manual door lock knobs on both sides, makes creepy noise if the driver keeps his elbow over it while driving or even if for a support. There seems tobe a hollow gap between the mating plastic sheets. This looks so cheap on the finish quality. Please provide an answer to this. {If, somebody is to read my concerns reported above- It would Look to him, as if Renault engineers like putting in different noises in some or the other part of vehicle.} My concerns list does not end here….. · Now another foolish system with refueling system. While refueling the car, if I miss to switch off the engine, my multifunction instrument panel does not get updated with the refueled status.Fuel level does not change. Mileage figures do not get updated. By switching off the vehicle, the very first discomfort is that the air conditioner goes off (still okay with that, taking into consideration the fire risk). My discussions with your team indicate that this has been done in order to put a safety check on potential fire risk. I do appreciate this step & would welcome as an important measure. If I miss to switch off by chance, my readings get messed up. But, what is the need to disturb my instrument panel readings? Why should they get hey-wire? And then, only option the driver is left with is to re-set the system (again by some lousy method) Are you trying to penalize the driver to commit this mistake by not switching off the engine? There could have been several other smart ways of doing it, may be by putting in some poke yoke in the fuel lid opening button. Adjusting the clock is again a lengthy task of at least 10minutes. Another annoying factor!! Need an answer!! As indicated yesterday- most of these features were not briefed to me while making demonstration on delivery day. Especially, A major failure from the dealership team… All that which was educated to me was basics of any car. Why?? Need an answer! · The front & rear bull guards fitted at the show room have undergone re fitment for 2 times & still not in their appropriate position. Always keeps getting bend to either direction. Are they really a good fit for an off roader kind of vehicle like- Duster. Then your people ask me stupid questions like- “Sir, did you drive the car on a bumpyroad”. Foolish!! The front bull guard got rusted within one week of delivery.When informed to the dealership, it was told that it is because of the iron mount frame. · The glove box is so small in size that itc annot even hold a regular box of tissues. To me, funniest moment was when your guys at dealership offered me with tissue box as a gift. I was literally trying to find some suitable space for it but could not find any as the dashboard also could not house that poor complementary tissue box. Finally, had to keep it on the rear parcel tray. · The cabin light switches on the front side are so soft that they move to the either of extreme positions while operation from on/ off or door position. · Rear Mud flaps went loose within first wee kof drive. Both had missing screws. I am sure that I did not take it off-road even once. And, even if I had done- then Duster is an off-road vehicle (so called). It should be able to tolerate that. (resolved after 1st service)

                            I own a Renault Duster .I purchased it on 24/03/14. the car shows some problems in it's wheel alignment.I contacted the service center and they say it is completely o.k ..After two days i noticed that both the back tyres were burst.now the car is on the service centre.they say that some stones may have hit on both sides of the car at the same time and it made the disc to bent.to repair the car i should pay 70, 000Rs. According to them this car cannot be driven on indian roads .My dealer is T .V Sundaram Iyenger &Sons Ltd N H Bye Pass, Mannuthy.I completed 13000 Km.i hope you will solve my problem as fast as possible
