i am using an sib atm card which is also a maestro card. i would like to create an account in paypal. During registration they where asking CSC number. how can i have the CSC number of my card?

      I have taken over the home loan on my house from south indian bank rohini branchin 2008, jan. With the floting rate of interest. Now the rbi reduced the
      Rates of interest accordingly i request the bank to reduce the rate of interest
      As per the guide lines of rbi., the bank reduce the rates but charge 2% penelty and +service charge +documentation charges ie 51000/-
      On the amount due which is wrong and illegale kindly direct the bank authorities to refund this amount

        My wife and myself are account holders of The South Indian Bank (SIB), Indiranagar, Bangalore. A couple of months back I deposited an HDFC cheque to my wife’s account and by mistake I did not put a date on it. The next day they sent it for collection and it was returned. I got this information from HDFC, not from SIB. I called SIB and talked to them and they were not even aware of that. I told them I would drop in the bank and put the date. When they got to know it a SIB employee without informing me put a date on the cheque and sent it for collection again. This time it was bounced.

        I went to complain about this to the manager (not mentioning his name) and he was not at all listening to my grievance. He was just justifying what they did and the he was embarrassing me saying “if you don’t have money don’t issue cheque”. He was asking me “if I tell, you have written the date on it what will you do?”. I was shocked by hearing this from a senior manager. My intention was to put a post date and when I told this to the manager he was affirming me that no banks including SIB would accept post dated cheques. However the irony was that I struck of the date (written by SIB employee) and put a post date and presented the cheque there again.

        From the beginning of the conversation he was telling me the bank has the right to write date on the cheque. If they have the right they should have curtsey to inform me before writing something on it.

        He behaved like this just because I don’t have lakhs in my account (not an important customer).

          I transferred an amount of 8.0 lacs towards property purchase from my account in indian bank, chennai to benificiary account maintained with south indian bank, mg road, thrissur vide rtgs. My bank confirmed the transaction and gave me message number. However, even after the lapse of 3 hrs, the amount was not credited to the beneficiary account nor the message was returned.Indian bank confirmed that transaction has been completed and money credited to the rtgs participating bank. Contrary to rbi directives, south india bank not only credited the account, but cheif manager behaved in an unruly manner with the complainant saying " stop irritating me'. I want an answer from sib on this. I shall also take up this matter with banking ombudsman. Rtgs transfer is being encouraged at all levels to ensure transparency in transactions and i am sure that rbi will take a very serious view of it.

            Sir/Madam,

            This is to request advice regarding an ATM transaction done by me from ur manjeri ATM (ATM code:[protected] at 16:36:18 on 30.08.09 .Unfortunately ,it happened to me that the cash was drawn back to the ATM machine as I didnt receive it due to a phone call at the moment.
            Please advice on how to retrieve the same.Also consider this as a request for the same.

              DD Cancellation Charge

              Dear Sir/Madam
              For my study purpose abroad I approached SOUTH INDIAN BANK to issue a DD of £2000.00 through my NRO account with them. I paid 1Lakh 65 thousand rupees for that purpose on October 10 2008. Certain reason I have to cancel that DD on end of December. Now the bank returned only 1Lakh 45 thousand.

              I cant believe this, they charged me 20 thousand Rupees cancellation charge. I haven't used that DD...

              (1) as i had given cheque no170414 dated 4/11/2008 amouning rs.5530of icicibank. But credit of same cheque is not given in
              Nex stament. Reastion given by sibbank that date is not writtern in same cheque & i had for returnabove cheque. But sbibank not return my above original cheque. (2) wrong debit of icici prudential bill payment for 11/23 i e rs.1600 ihave not paid any amount to icici prudential by my sbi credit card

              Fake notes received from SIB ATM Marathalli

              I withdraw 5000 amount from SIB ATM, for that 4 1000 notes received Fake notes.. how to redeem to correct notes.. customer care numbers are not working..
