on 6 th dec 2008 i use my SBI ATM card for bill (Rs624)in a restaurant but they told me (after the use of two time ) atm machine not working and we pay the bill in cash.But on 16th Dec 2008 regular balance inquiry i found that bill amount was cut twice from my account .after the contact with restaurant mang.i found that they not receive any money from my account.then where is my money from my account???????????????

      This is not exactly a compliant nor suggestion but it is some sort of agony and dissopointment regardign the functioning of the bank and the attituded of the employees in SBH, Mylargadda Branch Hyderabad.
      A few years back the bank people used to tell loudly that one need not come to the same branch for withdrawals nor for deposits . They can deposit any amount from any branch and any part of the country. But now the employees or not getting the pass book update unless we pay Rs.`10 if the account is in some other branch. They even chargeing some amounts for deposit or withdrawl if the cheque or deposite is to be made for some other branch which is exactly contradition to what they say earlier. If the deling between different banks we can understand if it for the same bank such charges should not leaved on the customers otherwise what is the purpose of core banking

        Iam.Dr.R.Sai kiran, from Hyderabad, a SBH customer of Sultan bazar branch was drawing a cash of Rs 5000/-from Andhra bank
        Vijayanagar colony on 15th september when the transaction was not processed temporarily and I did not receive any money .Unfortunately I did not get the transaction slip and when I checked the balance the money was deducted.The guard over there says there is no receipt facility for this machine .

        I rushed to SBH Sultanbazar. The manager ther said me to consult the bank to which the ATM is attached.The Andhra bank manager said its an outsourced ATM and the bank has no conneaction with it.

        From then Iam moving between these two banks but in vain. no one knows correct procedure.The SBH manager went to the extent of saying that lose the hope of getting the money back.

        Could you please help me to solve this problem?If I have to complaint against the attitude of the managers, I should complaint to whom?

To my surprise on the screen stating that “Your transaction is under process”. But I could not withdraw amount and no bank slip was received from the ATM System also.

        Further, on the same day I went to ICICI ATM Centre at Chaitanyapuri, Hyderabad at about 8.30 PM on 26.10.2008 to withdraw an amount of Rs. 4000/- through my SBH Debit Card, in that ATM Centre also I have faced the same problem stating the same reason. Therefore, I Could not get amount and slip also.

        Again I went to SBH ATM Centre on 29.10.2008 at Ramanthapur to take mini statement. I found that wrongly debited an amount of Rs. 4, 020/- on 26.10.2008.

        In this connection, I humbly request you sir, please verify the accounts and credit the amount of Rs. 4, 020/- to my account.

        All you need to do is, GO TO THE BRANCH WHERE YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN OPENED, SUBMIT A WRITTEN APPLICATION, EXPLAIN WHAT ALL HAS HAPPENED, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR FEEDBACK, CROSS VERIFY BY THEMSELVES IF YOU GAVE THEM THE RIGHT INFO, AND IF THEY FIND THAT YOU'RE RIGHT, THEY'LL CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT WITH YOUR MONEY WITHIN 15 DAYS..

          On 26th July 2008, Under POS Transaction with CHANDANA BROTHERS, Visakhapatnam, I have given by SBH DEBIT Card for Payment. Payment was Rs.20, 000/-
          The receipt was not generated and this shopping outlet did not receive the payment. But, to my astonishment the amount was withdrawn from my Bank account.
          M/s. Chandana Brothers gave a letter to me that they have not received this payment.

          I gave a compliant to the concerned branch of the bank (SBH P&SB Branch, BS Layout, Visakhapatnam) about two and half months ago. Till date, my amount was not reconciled to my account.

          Please do the needful for getting my money back in my account.

            Zero Balance salary saving account .. non compliance

            Sir,

            As per the agreement between State Bank of Hyderabad and State of Maharashtra and the Govt. Resolution No. Finance Dept. D.D.O.1000/PRA.KRA.5/KOSHA-PRASA-5, Mantralaya, Mumbai - 32 dt.29/08/2005 every state employee should open his saving account in any bank listed in above G.R. and the same is treated by the respective Bank as Zero Balance account and salary of employee is paid through this account. So I have opened...

            I deeply regret to inform you that the services rendered by SBH, Jyothinagar branch(code number 20451) at karim nagar district, andhra pradesh:505215 is abysmally horrible and bank authorities do not meet the customer needs accordingly.

            Contradicting the SBH bank facilities SBI's are really customer driven and this bank needs sudden and ambushed auditing at the earliest WITHOUT REVEALING THE IDENTITY. I am due to approach consumer forum to sue the bank for the inconvenience caused to me on several occasions.

            This mail init self indicates the helplessness of customers at this NTPC campus whose demands are not met by the bank authorities.

            Of many problems from the bank end this is one such problem and is as follows:

            1) As per bank norms it takes 10 min to receive the internet password and account and two days for activation. For me it has taken 45 days to get the password and account login id, after regular and undeterred follow up.

            2) I was not able to use the debit cum atm card at many places in and out of the state. Still worse I am dumb stuck as my company credits salary with this worst ancillary SBH here.

            3) In spite of my access to internet banking facility which I got with lot of hue and cry, I still am not able to use my ATM and debit card for many applications, viz for booking internet railway tickets at irctc.com today as I had an emergency trip to be planned and bookings of available seats almost not available.

            I am attaching the message by email by irctc about the failure of transaction due to the failure from the bank end.

            What compensation will the bank pay to me if it is not do its job? Are we here to stomach the people at the banks and their families who are a burden to this nation? We say we are progressing .Is this what a good nationalized bank can do when it cannot care for its own a/c holders. Bank authorities refuse to speak when grievance is raised insitu and get busy speaking over the mobile cells to vile away the time. Thanks to the advances in communication technology!!.

I presented my house documents to the Manager . He perused the documents and told that you put an application to the Bank and bring an Income Certificate from the concerned authorities. Then I applied for Income Certificate to the Tahsildar, Ponnur and brought it to the Manager. Then the Manager told that he will give only Rs. 75, 000/- only. But
            I am in need of Rs.3, 00, 000/-. So please give me Rs. 3, 00, 000/- loan by putting my house which is worth Rs. 7, 00, 000/-.

            I deeply regret to inform you that the services rendered by SBH, Old Airport Road, branch at Bangalore, Karnataka is not effective and lacks in how meet the customer needs and anticipating them.

            I was told by the Branch Manager that I will receive my ATM Card and the pin in 15 days.
            It had been now 50 days now and still i have not received my pin yet.

            I have odd hrs shift and not able to visit the bank to withdraw or do any transactions.
            I am also helpless that I have to use this Bank as my salary is credited in this bank by my company.

            Regarding this i have personally met the Branch Manager 5 times, but no proper response.
            On the top the branch manager is not able to give me any dead line about when I can receive the card with the pin.
            He clearly stats that he don’t know when its going to come.

            I am sure that rather than doing this to the customer the Branch Manager can easily find out the present status of my request given 50 days back, and inform the same to me.
            But he just behaved like a typical 1980's Bank Manager pretending he doesn't care with a had negative attitude towards a customer.

            This mail init self indicates the helplessness of customers at this Branch at this point of time whose demands are not met by the bank authorities.

            The only thing I can do is just waiting for rain in the Dessert.

            Please take necessary actions and please help me and see that this does not happen to any other customer.

            Please wake up its 2010 things doesn’t work out like this.

            My personal advice is have an account with ICICI.
            It offers superior customer centric service.
            Transfer your salary to ICICI a/c once it gets credited. And enjoy the services.
            But know the pros and cons of ICICI savings a/c. The penalty charges are very high in this. If you think you are disciplined enough and in need of world class service, switch over to ICICI.

            My bro has City bank a/c. He is also very much satisfied with its service. You can consider it too..



            FYI : I am not an ICICI / CITY Bank agent. I have my salary account with ICICI.
            Transfer your salary to ICICI and enjoy its world class services.

            But the penalty charges are very high if you fall prey to them. Ensure you know the ways you wont be penalised.

            Something similar happened with me too.. Despite having the Internet banking Username and Password, I Lost access to My Internet Banking account. I was able to access my account online earlier, but not anymore though there isn't any typo or mistake in the credentials supplied. We have got the 'Forgot Passowrd' link and unfortunately the services rendered under the link sucks. Seems like a form has to be submitted which wold periodically be approved after due verification. They Don't Offer security where it is required the most. I Don't get, how on earth did i suddenly face this problem. Does anyone have any idea as to why it happens, Please give some suggestion if possible. Mobile Phone Approval equally sucks. Just because i missed the code once and there is NO 're-send the code' link or likewise, i'm facing trouble. What Sick services they offer! Bad Website! Versign certified on top of it!

              Iam the account holder of SBH nelakondapalli branch.I debited the Rs.600 amount on 8/1/08 at SBH collectorate branch but the mini statement shows that the amount was double debited.Regarding this I gave a complaint on concerned branch but till now they wn't take any action.

              recently i am changed my atm pin no and i forgot that.The next day i went to my bank regarding this they simply told that apply for new card .What is way to get my pin no?
              on 10 may 2009 (sunday) at about 6:35 pm i have used my ATM card no:[protected] to withdraw an amount of rs 15000 from my SB account no [protected] through HDFC Bank ATM located at Petbasheerabad, Hyderabad.But i have not received the amount.i have also not received the transaction slip .Immediately i asked for balance inquiry and was surprised to see that an amount of rs15000 was debited to my account.i request you to credit that amount to my SB account

              I had applied to new debit card and I had received in the month of January, 2009 and after two weeks I had received the PIN number from bank as I had found no pin number on the back side of the shadded area, and also I had send the written complaint to the SBH Bank on[protected] and till Date they had not solve my problem. My account no is [protected].

              So once again Request to SBH bank people to issue the new debit card along with pin number.

                DEAR SIR,
                In respecet of the above cited subject i write to submit that i have account in SBH Sedam Dist:Gulbara state:karnataka, on[protected] i have drawn Rs 4000/- (timing[protected]and again Rs 4000/- timing[protected] in SBI ATM Gulbarga but on verification on my S/b Account statement i came to know that my account has been debited thrice at the rate of Rs 4000/- instead of twice at the rate of Rs 4000/- that mean's Rs 4000/- excess has been debited quoting the timing[protected] within a secound it is well knigh immposible to drawn through ATM and it is ATM Machine mistake,and also i crosponding this matter from last one year in SBH Sedam, and also switch center mumbai but they are not solving this matter, therefor i request you to kindly arrange to make the correction as stated above there by of Rs 4000/- to my S/B Account No [protected] or otherwise give me any solution to how i solve this matter.
