Assessor Not taking Meter Reading

I am residing in 13/20 New Raja Colony, Beemanagar, Tiruchirappalli 620001. Our TNEB Connection No. is[protected]. Since December 2011 the Meter Reading Assessor is not taking the reading subsequently. As a result we are forced to pay more than the power consumed for the past four months.

It needs immediate rectification that we are able to pay towards power (Electricity) consumed only.

UNSAFE POWER CONNECTION

Some electric wires are found which connected from the Transformer near Aadhi parasakthi koil, central Avenue, MKB Nagar, chennai 600 039 to the nearby houses and shops is seemed to be dangerous to the public. These wires are to be removed and lay under the ground immediately.Several complaints are sent to Tamil Nadu Electricity Board but all in vain. Please take an immediate action by concerned authorities so as to avoid an untoward incident....

With regard to electricity payment, TNEB never cares about neither consumer nor their payment. Am residing in Nanmangalam locality, which comes under Kilkattalai EB (Chennai) jurisdiction (for payment) for complaint they have opened an office in Nanmangalam itself. I have been residing in this flat more than a year and no EB personnel have come to take meter reading and none bother about the payment even.

frequent power trips

Ashok Nagar - facing frequent power trips and un-informed and these power trips occur not in any single phase all three phases go off every time there is a power trip. No proper response from the TNEB and these go unattended everytime minimum 4 - 5 times a day, apart from the 1 hr standard power shutdown. This affects the normal day life and this also occurs sometimes at mid night and becoming untolerable........

Audacity of employees and ease of payments

Recently the TNEB has stopped accepting cash payments across counters if the amoutn is over 2000/- and instead are asking for Demand Drafts from Banks for the amount, in case the users cannot pay online. Sometimes when you go to pay there are amounts they say needs to be paid, which is normally less than 150-200 Rs, but still the obiedient employees of TNEB ask the consumers to go and get another draft for the difference amount, refusing...

Complaint about kamaleshwaran in medavakkam eb office

I'm residing in medavakkam. Kamaleshwaran @ kamal is a staff of our area eb office. He is asking five to ten times of money to change name, tariff, to correct some simple problems. But he's not giving receipt for that. Regularly he's doing like this to me and some peoples when i sent to him.
But after collecting some details about him, he is not a regular staff in eb. He is just a contract labour in medavakkam eb office....

My supply from TNEB was a very low voltage (yesterday) the day before I complain. I tried to call my TNEB branch office i.e., Perungalathur but the number was busy right from 7 pm to 12 am.
