TNEB in sevvapet road was cutting the power at night time for more the 3 - 5 hour per day at night like 9:30 to 12:00 or 1:00 clock for every day we can't able to get sleep at night

[protected] has done meter by pass on 3.3.2023 vigilance filedd a case regrding this and line dissconnected on 3.4.2023 but still the service is working instead of that other service has been disconnected by puzhal AE MR. dayanidhi, has got money from the owner and playing this game as per online status the line has been disconnected but service is still working please take necessary action in this issue, as soon as possible

There is no power in MAC Nagar, Jayalakshmi Nagar, Kattupakkam since 12.30 AM and the power is not come yet. The time now is 10.13 AM. Please take action immediately.

Hello, My residence is unoccupied from Nov 28, 2022 to April 2023, except 10 days in Jan 2023, (Jan 4th to Jan 14th). Feb month bill was Rs.113

TNEB found the defective meter during Apil 2023 reading and charged the bill amount of Rs.2236, while the whole period the house was unoccupied.

Got shocked to see the EB bill, and asked my Neighbour to take a picture of the meter reading and share it, it shows defective...

This complaint is regarding the bill that was generated for last two months (Jan and Feb). Average bill of my based of my consumption is not more than 1K. However, I have received a bill of 17K. I have submitted written complaint to Sithalapakkam office. However, AE or Line man from the office are not responding properly. When called there is no response for calls and finally when they answered they are asking me to visit the office again and only then they will visit my location to fix the issue. This is causing me mental pressure due to huge bill. I want the meter to be fixed and correct bill to be generated. Also, I would need refund for the amount I paid.

Electricity supply to Old No 16 Gregory Street, Seven Wells, Chennai 10, GCC ward 55 is taken openly from a faraway EB pillar box by a overhead hanging wire for many months posing danger to nearby people.

I forgot to pay my bill last time and my connection has been disconnected.when i approach local EB and they asked me to pay around 12k for a bill amount of 2400, may I know the reason for that and on what basis late fee will be calculated.
Actual reading for the missed one: 29920 on 19/12/2022 and disconnected on 23/02/2023 on that time reading is 30485.

We residents of Kesavapuram, Minjur, Thiruvalluvar district are facing low voltage problem. Air conditioners do not function, fans rotate at very slow speed. We are kept awake until 2:00 a.m. as these electrical gadgets to not function with low voltage.

My house is at No.16/18, 5th street Rajamangalam, Villivakkam, Chennai-600049 would like to raise complaint to TNEB regarding the shifting of EB box in appropriate place since it was touching my house compound wall also there is a drainage pipe line below it. Any issue in drainage the outlet below EB box should be digged in to check it. It was already informed to the officials orally but my issue was not prioritized. So i kindly and humbly request you to look forward in this issue and shift it as it is causing hinderance.

For the last 10 days we are not having current and not porper response from the eb office .we are affected due to this insane form morning to night we have students 10 board exams &sick persons due to this unresposible facility we are affected
For the last full night stand in road ladies and children

At NH 44 a new petrol pump of IOCL constructing service road for 300 meters. HT feeder conductor are very low compared to other places and also within the range of service road. Needs hightening/ tightening of HT conductor. This may pose danger to the people's residing in the area.

Kindly advice the concerned for the needful.

While try to make a call to the TNEB customer care number, It says that the number (1912) or (155333) does not exists.

Recently we bought a plot in Mathur MMDA, Chennai. EB line wire is crossing the plot, which is the old one. New Line connection has been given but still old line wire is crossing our plot. We planned to build a house in that plot, but thinking the safety of the labor's, we are not starting it for now because of this issue. If the line wire shifted, it will be very helpful, Considering the safety requesting you to do the needful ASAP. Thank you.

This is to notify you that, we are the flat owners of Shiki Towers, 1/6, 3rd St, Sathyavathy Nagar, Padi, Chennai 600050, comprises of 6 flats in the building and our EB account # is [protected].

I’m writing this complaint on behalf of other flat owners ( obtained the permissions already) about an illegal influence from one of the flat owners Mr.Suryakumar owner of G2, and his tenant Mr.Vinayagasothi to force us to surrender the common electric meter and tag that to his account or some other flat owners account to minimize the electricity charges and get a government subsidy to operate under domestic tariff. Mr.Suryakumar said, he and his tenant got this information from the Mogappair AE (the name is undisclosed) so he doesn't want to pay the common meter charges associated with the 2HP motor for the water pump and staircase lights. So we would like to escalate this matter to the appropriate authority to take further actions who gave the false information (AE Mogappair - JJ Nagar South, R35, 120 feet Mogappair Road, Mogappair, Chennai 600037), also to ensure all the flat owners including G2 Mr. Suryakumar should obey the government rule for common meter under the LT-ID category to share monthly/bi-monthly charges, failing that we would like to proceed to disconnecting water and electric connection for those who are not cooperating and going against the TNERC guidelines.
