Hi,

I took a Mortgage loan from Tata Capital Housing Finance limited in the Month of May 2013 for Rs. 21, 00,000. My loan account number is 9170337. The EMI amount of Rs. 26570 was supposed to be deducted on 9th of every month.

It happened that the EMI of Rs. 26570 got deducted on 10th of June 2013. But to my shock, an amount of Rs. 26570 was again deducted on 13th June 2013. They had put the cheque which i had provided them at the time of loan processing.

As per my knowledge, the bank is not supposed to deduct money until n unless the ECS EMI is not paid. But Tata Capital has put the cheque without my consent and deducted the money.

I queried with them on the same day with call reference number 675223. I also spoke to the floor supervisor by name BHUSHAN and he promised me that he will let me know the reason why the deduction happened twice as well as send the refund money via cheque to my residential address. He told he will get back to me by 24th June.

But till now no call or mail has been received. Today again i called them asking for the same and i spoke to Bhushan, he says he will again follow up with the collection team. I asked him what is the SLA for a priority issue and he says he cant promise on the timelines.

Please help me in refunding the money of Rs. 26570 as soon as possible because I had to lend money from someone to run my house hold day to day needs.

Kindly take strict action on Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited and ensure they will not repeat again.

    In the month of January, there were two fraudulent transactions from my card, which were done somewhere in Egypt. After these transactions, TATA Card blocked by card as I my phone was not accessible. I have been told to raise Dispute Form for the same. I raised immediately. I have been told that the investigation will take 72 working days.
    Meanwhile, I was calling helpline to get update from customer care, but every time, I was getting new suggestions. I asked them whether I have to lodge FIR in nearest Police Station, But the executive said there is no need for FIR and TATA Card (SBI Cards) will complete the investigations.
    Kindly let me know how can I go further and what action should I take.

    Credit Card — No response from Bank

    Hi,

    My self subhash Kumar,[protected].I fed up from HDFC card service.I find 2 transaction suspected on my card,some of sales executive get my card photocopy for new card of ICICI for reference.I remove CCV number from the back,while I have seen my card charged for the Max newyork life policy which I haven't bought.I called up to max new your life customer care but haven't got any feedback.Even If you will check the Policy will not find my matching signature.This will prove Max newyork life sales executive cheated me.

    Even I called to HDFC customer care for that,get i fax number where I have to send a fax for cancellation of these transaction.

    even still there is no response.Now I am getting DSA call for recovery every day.

    I will like to look toward bank for proactive action,otherwise,I will take this case in consumer court.

    Imeediately I have conveyed him that I have not at all applied for credit card any time nor I need credit card . So do not despatch credit card, if despatched, cancel it immediately since I do not applied for it.

      I was TATA credit card holder ([protected]) from June 2012 to April 2013 and till i closed my account i didn't get my monthly statement to my registered mail id or official address. Called and logged complaint with TATA customer care couple of times, they informed will be sending it but till i closed my account i did not get even a single statement. In the month of November 2012 i informed customer care, will make payment only if i get the statement but no one bothered to respond. i have got calls from TATA credit card payment team and they were only insisting me to make the payment, i refused and told them i will be making the payment only if i get the statement which continued for 3 months. At last i got frustrated, paid the total amount and closed the account in the month of April 2013 and also applied for NOC, later i found that i was added to defaulters list in CIBIL. Even after closing my account i did not receive NOC/No Due certificate from them till now. I have called customer care today to check the status,

      My question here is, why should i make the payment if i am not getting my statements, how will i know the charges levied and the payments made from June 2012 are reflecting to my account. so every time i call them and log a complaint i get one answer "Extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused", we will log a complaint next month you will be getting it, but it didn't happen till now. Because of them now i have to pay the late payment charges. I made nearly Rs.8000 extra for my actual amount and closed it. One strange thing here is I will not even receive any alerts for the payment i made, but will receive alerts for payment dues. THIS IS REALLY VERY FRUSTRATING, there are many complaints logged or filled against TATA CREDIT CARD, but is there any action that is taken against them?

      I want to clarify some things here is, if BANK has all the rights to imply Late payment charges and adding to defaulters list in CIBIL. Why can't a customer have the same rights if BANK is not providing the minimum service promised.

      This is totally unethical and cheating against me. People should be VERY VERY careful while taking TATA credit card.

        I had submitted a loan application 3 months ago for our property purchased to Tata Capital agent. We have completed almost 3 months but haven’t received any response or heard from your company on the loan processing application. We have made several calls and visited your office many times but has never received any response, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As a customer we are highly disappointed with service given by “Tata Capital”.We would like to escalate this matter with Senior’s Associated with the loan processing and discuss the irresponsibility shown by the team. We submitted the documents along with the amount paid (Rs 4000) as cash for the technical team to “Mr Kamalesh” agent of Tata Capital and the cheque for the amount (Rs 5618) for processing. We need your suggestion or help in this loan issue.If this is not done before 25tho f this month we will loose the amount paid to Landlordas an agreemnet

          Channel partner mail stating the ROI 12.25%, the same was confirmed by Tata executive. However sanction letter availing the loan came without disclosing the ROI, however state a schedule of cashflow to be paid over a time. On calculation ROI arrived @ exceeding 18%. Complained to both bur in vain. Did not paid monthly EMI, hence later both acknowledged mistake & sent a new set of reduced cashflow. Even after that my account is debited by the same old ECS amount. No one is helping me.

            Respected Sir,
            Sub: Cheating of consumers by luring them with reward points/gifts, and not honoring the same – Reg
            I am Karthik, from Coimbatore and I am Holding a Tata Credit Card No [protected](Card issued by SBI Cards), apart from my other bank cards like HDFC,ICICI,CITI. Normally banks use to lure customers by promising attractive gifts if the cards are utilized more by reward points which can be redeemed as gift coupons, purchases at select outlets, etc. Likewise, Tata cards promised many attractive options to redeem the reward points. Attracted to this) I mostly used my tata card to make more purchases and gathered around 7000 reward points in few years.
            The cheating process of Tata Cards:
            1. Since they have a system, that the reward points has to be redeemed within a specified time frame which is not known to the customer, else the points will get expired. That is the client will loose the points which he has gathered all these years.
            2. After knowing this I wanted to redeem my reward points and called the customer care asking them how & where to redeem the points. I got a reply that I can redeem the points only from TATA group companies such as Taj Hotels, Westside retail outlet, Tata sky etc.
            3. In the month of April’12, I opted to use the card in Taj Vivanda hotel in racecourse road, Coimbatore and Westside retail store in Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore. Before visiting the store I did a complete inquiry through the call center about the process of redeeming.
            4. Then I Visited Taj Vivanda hotel for lunch and after billing I requested the manager to use my card in Empower rewards machine to redeem my points against the bill of Rs.2000/- but unfortunately the manager was unaware of this process, he swiped the card in a normal edc machine. For which the card got billed for the amount swiped, instead of getting adjusted against my reward points.
            5. After that I went to Westside retail outlet and selected dress materials amounting to Rs.4000 and in the billing counter I requested the manager to use my card in Empower rewards machine to redeem my points against the bill of Rs.4000/- but unfortunately the manager was unaware of this process, and also they did not have that machine, whereas tata credit card call center informed me that the same can be utilized here. In that embarrassing situation I had to spend Rs.4000/- from my pocket for the purchase.
            6. After these two incidents I gave a complaint(Ref No:[protected] to tata cards through their helpline number [protected] about this issues of redeeming the reward points. They promised me to solve this issue and also informed that they will re credit the bill of Rs.2000/- spent in Taj Vivanda. And also solve the issue with Westside.
            7. As per their promise they did call me back during first week of May’12 and took the complete details of the above issues and promised a call back. After a week I got a call back stating that I can use the card now in taj and Westside. And also the Rs.2000/- spent will be adjusted against the bill.
            8. Meanwhile they have removed around 700 points stating that as expired. And for my April’12 bill I paid deducting the above Rs.2000/- but they charged a penalty of Rs.1950/- in my May’12 bill. Before making my April’12 payment I confirmed with the call center executive and after confirming only I made a payment of Rs.10700/- against my bill of Rs.12,700/-.
            9. Again I called the call center and informed the issue and requested them to re-credit the reward points for which I have not got any revert till date. Instead they advised me to utilize the reward points before the expiry date in any tata outlet.
            10. On 22nd May I again visited the Westside store for purchase. But to my surprise the store manager informed me that they do not have a machine to redeem the reward points from tata card. I immediately called the customer care from the mall, and one executive attended the call. I asked him to speak to the store manager regarding the non acceptance of the card. On hearing this he asked me to wait and put the call on hold for more than 20 mins. Annoyed with this kind of service again I disconnected the call and called back the customer care line and gave a strict complaint[protected] about the issue. Again the lady promised that I will get a call back regarding this issue within a day but no response received. I informed her that if I don’t get a revert in a day I shall forward the complain to banking ombudsmen.
            11. Before forwarding this complaint I called the customer care number and spoke to Mr Uma Shanker(Seq No:7257441) on 23rd May’12 and explained the entire issue right from the beginning. He promised me that he will personally handle the issue and solve the issue of Rs.2000/ - spent in taj vivanda, recredit of expiry of points and come out with a complete solution by 24th may’12. But again as usual there was no response from tata card staffs.
            12. On 25th May I called the customer care to check with Mr.Uma Shankar whether they have arrived at any solution for this issue of mine but could not reach Mr.Uma shankar, and the other executive wanted to listen to my entire issue. But I don’t want to become a joker in front of them I decided to post this letter today 26th May’12.












            As this issue is pending with tata cards for more than a month I request you to take this as a general complaint and take necessary action on tata cards to avoid luring customers by these kind of cheatings. Also request you to order tata cards to refrain from giving false commitments to customer and lure them to use the cards and make profits. Also this kind of irresponsible behavior of not giving proper response to customers has also to be addressed.

            Kindly acknowledge this complaint with a reference number and do the needful to sort out the above issues that I have listed.

            In my case, they are dispatching the card statement belatedly and after the due date several times. They even do not send reminder SMS, like any other credit card companies. And they charge through the nose stating interest, belated payment charges etc even the amount is very small. Now, I have stopped using this card since 2 months. Public please be aware of this.
            I also have a bad experience with TATA SBI Credit card. They don't have a proper customer care services at place. No mails delivered to [protected]@sbicard.com & [protected]@sbicard.com mail ID. Never receive any response back of SMS services. CC numbers never shows the option to talk to executives. Its totally government type of services. They don't bother about their customers. Please avoid taking this tata credit card, I suggest better to go for any private bank credit card.
            After reading this, I want to close or deactivate my tata crediit card, such a bad service.I also aware my all friends for this
            I've points Accumulated and now i'm wandering through all the TATA outlets to know and couldn't find a place to redeem the points. I visited alot of outlets like Titan and West side in LULU Mall Kochi, WestSide in Sobha Mall Thrissur etc, they all say they dont have a machine to redeem the points. I feel funny that i have to go bangalore or Chennai to Redeem the points. Pathetic Service, i feel the rewards may expire soon without redeeming it.

              Hi,

              I am using Tata Credit Card from 15 months. Card # xxxx xxxx xxxx 8685.

              When I took this card, the sale person given me commitment that this card is free and there will be no annual fee any time, Now I got monthly statement and they changed me annual fee.

              Last time also they change me annual fee ( complaint #[protected] and then after 1 month the reversed the change, and now again done same think.

              I have added complaint now. complaint #[protected].
              Can you please let me know when it will get resolve?

              Don't buy TATA Card as they are giving wrong commitment to sale there card. I was using this card from 1 yr and when i want to redeem the points in 'World of Titan, J.M. Road, Pune' they are not ready to redeem the point as 'they have not recevied EDS machine from TATA'.
              When I given compliant to TATA Customer care[protected], they are saying go to croma and other outlet instead of 'World of Titan'.

              As per document which provided by TATA CARD Sale person and TATA Card company, says that we can redeem then points in 'World of Titan'.

              Finally I have planned to cancel this card.

              I am very very disappointed with TATA Card, other who planning to buy this card, thing 100 times...
              Still[protected] complaint is open, . TATA Card customer card sstill ( from 1 months ) resolving this issue. I don't no how much time they take to resolve one issue..

                I am Parag Pandya from Ahmedabad Gujarat,
                I have a Complain regarding the Credit Card of Tata.
                I have received 2 Tata Credit Card from the company and that is also without applying for it. I don’t know how a company can send the Credit Card with and application from the candidate.
                Now the situation is that, I have started receiving the mail of Payment Pending of it, without using the card, and because of it TATA Credit Card as put my name into CIBILl.
                I don’t know what to do now, that card are still seal packed in their covers and I have getting the bills of it.
                I am requesting from you to kindly help me in this case and guide me what to do now, should I do the Court Case to the company or you can do something from your end….
                Please guide me.

                    i had foreclosed a loan taken from tata capital ltd.,on 14.1.2012 (loan ac no.3099267).i got my closure letter on 27.1.2012 and i was told that i will get my property documents in a weeks time.till date i have not received my papers even though i have made endless no. of calls to both their offices in aundh and at f.c.road but everytime i was told that the papers are on the way.i contacted mr.ravi at f.c.road branch and he took up my problem and called up officials from mumbai but till date without any success.i complained several times to customer care and even emialed but no response was received.i am extremely disappointed with the lethargic attitude of the concerned officials in dealing with my problem and till date no higher official has even bothered to call me. what type of service and security of our valuable documents should we expect from tata capital.i have spent several hours sitting in their office for several days continuously but all a total waste of time.the worst part is that all the documents are in chennai.seems there is no place available in mumbai.to cut matters short i am a victim of their lethargic attitude in giving my valuable documents back to me.and i demand that tata officials in mumbai to give my property papers immediatly.

                        We applied for a Home loan with Tata Capital, the rep came home and checked all documents and confirmed the loan will get approved as confirmed by the legal team. We have the society on MAHADA plot and therefore the 1st agreement is not registered. The same was informed to Tata and they said that was not a constraint. The documents were all duly submitted. They said the cheque was ready on 30th july for disbursement. On 9th August i was informed that we will get the cheque on 10th and ever since they have been delaying the process and asking for more documents. They asked for NOC from Mahada, post which a letter from society secretary, which we have already submitted and an assurance given that the loan will be approved after submitting the document. They have charged us processing fees, franking amount, Pre EMI installment along with an interest. But we have no cheque in our hand yet. The do not answer our calls and no update on the loans as well. I have visited the branch office on friday in hopes of an update. Contact Person: Shashikant Mishra, Rep: who conformed loan will be approved - Pradeep, Head whom we are contacting now Vijay. Branch - Malad Link road. We have asked for documents to be given back to us on 16th August even that has not been done but a confirmation given that the same will be closed and we will receive a cheque as there is no reason for them to default now since the cheque for 31,40,000 is ready for disbursement. We have no clue where our money is, if our loan will get approved and where are our original documents. We have crossed the deadline for payment to be made to the seller and are in a fix along with all the tension and pressure of the way we have been handled.

                        Very much possible. Because same has been happening to me with TATA credit card. They follow up promptly (as any salesman would), collect documents and their duty ends their. Present times when you have credit cards readily given at your door step, mine is pending for 2 months now, that too I'm working for a Tata company. :(

                            Against businessloan contract no. 3154844, we have have issued post dated cheques (PDC) towards repayment (EMI) for 3rd of every month.
                            We have observed that the PDC’S (dated 3rd, of every month) are being deposited by them with their bank in one day advance for clearing. That means the cheques are being deposited in clearing on 2nd, of every month. And in case of 2nd, being a Holiday, they are even depositing the cheque on 1st or earlier.
                            In this connection we have already booked our complaint with them, but they are insisting that cheque will be deposited in such a manner that cheque will hit to our bank on 3rd, of every month.
                            Our point is that the cheque should be deposited in clearing only on 3rd, (i.e. the date of the cheque) and it does not matter when the cheque hits to our bank.

                                Dear All,

                                I have applied for a home loan from TATA Capital HFC via application number 028471 dated 22/06/11. The application was submitted through one of your direct agent - Quantum marketing based out of Thane. While applying for the loan we have been told that there will be processing charges of 0.5% and none other charges would be taken. I have already given a cheque of Rs. 5,515/- which is credited in your account against Rs. 9,936/-.

                                Now when the loan is sanctioned and about to disbursed, your agent has taken Rs. 9,550/- and has informed us the the break up would be given by the TATA Capital HFC. Further they are asking for more Rs. 2500/- for legal charges. The total comes to more than Rs. 22,000/-. These charges were never informed to us and now when the loan has to be disbursed (after taking all our original documents) we have been forced to pay these amount. Now i need my money back, with the interest or else i would approach the consumer court.

                                  I applied for home loan from your bank, one of tata capital housing finance executive mr. Amit vijayvargiya has contact me for the same & I clearly told them at the time of submission of all documents( personal & property) and before fill the application form that I required rs. 22.00 lacs loan amount b'cos hdfc already sanction rs. 20.5 lacs loan but my requirements are not full-fill in this much amount.
                                  02 days later he(mr. Amit) told me that he discuss my case on behalf of all papers with his all seniors that loan will approve and I met with mr. Viswajit at metro tower, vijay nagar indore branch personnaly to know the status of loan procedure on 09/05/2011 and according to mr. Vishwajit at that time only approval balance on 600 sft plot area in part loan case and he clear the same thing with their ho and commited me that now not any more problem to sanction the laon.
                                  Now they(mr. Vishwajit & mr. Amit vijayvargiya ) told me that loan amount which we can approve is rs. 20.00 lacs only, but till date I have not receive the approval letter while processing fee has been claimed on 11th may-2011 by tata capital housing finance of amount rs. 5515/- By cheque no. 205446, axis bank, dt. 06/05/2011.
                                  My complaint is how at that time tata capital housing finance executive & branch head(mr. Amit & vishwajit) commited me for rs. 22.00 lacs while I submitted all documents( personal & property) with loan application form.
                                  My loan application receipt no is 015597 dt. 30/04/2011 and dsa/Dst/Channel name- amit vijayvargiya code-536223.

                                    Hi, Well first of all I thought TATA being one of the biggest company I thought they will provide world class services, however I had a very bad experience and annoyed the way they treated my case.

                                    I applied for a car loan, and they told me that after submitting all the documents, loan will be approved in next 2 or MAX 3 working days. After completing 2 days I called up their executive who was looking after my case, he didnot pick up. I again called him up after the weekend, he again didnot pick up, I tried calling from another no. and he picked than I asked him my status he replied that he will get back to me in sometime.. same story was continued for the next 4-5 days !!! His name is ANKIT, from Noida branch. I was amazed to see their behaviour and was thinking if they cant handle my case or my is declined than why cant they just tell me ???? I think such employees needs to learn some professionalism.

                                    Finally I called up their branch manager and complaint about him. Than after 2 minutes I got a call from their office saying "your case is declined and we will return your file by tomorrow " !!

The person called Bhoopvir taken my money by fraud for an investment.the money is around 4 lacs..i called him so many times his phone came switched off..when i contacted tata capital sec9 chandigarh, there i came to know he left the job..now the person working in tata capital says tht bhoopvir will pay my money back, tata capital is not liable to refund any money coz he has not processed furthur...

                                        ECS bounce charges

                                        Dear Sir

                                        I have complained in this forum with link "www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/tata-capital-c510530.html " Since they did not deduct EMI when I call them or mail them they did not replied with correct answer. They always tell tehy will come back. As I paid my EMI on 21 January through DD, I have put a comment and I left. Today Tata capital persons called me ans says that they were putting ECS bouncing charges...
