I had booked Urban Company professionals for full home cleaning. They used a scrubber for cleaning my new wardrobe mirror size 8feet ×6 feet which caused scratches all over the mirror. I was told by the cleaning department person that they will pay for the damages if i provide pictures. I had sent pics of the damaged mirror. I have paid for the services as well to the company. I am waiting for a response from them. They are not available on customer services number. Please advise how to resolve this problem.

    Hi,
    I have made a request for Repair washing machine on 13th September 2022. Proffessional came to home and checked the washing machine during the service he damaged Coin Filter and Took elewire from washing machine. After that he took the door lock, door lock handle rod, and coin filter and went out with spart parts. He told me that next day morning I will fix the issue. But he is not came on next day, I made call to him he told me that I will come tommorrow. Next day he asked for washing machine model and pic of the washing machine I was shocked with his behaviuor. I sent a pic. After that no response from him. Mean while i made a request to customer care for resolutions several time everyday but always they asked for give us sometime. But till now there is no proper response from them. Today they blocked chatbot also so, i can't chat with them. there is no customer care number to call Urban Compny. What i have to do now?

    Please provide Proper Response and fix the problem ASAP. Otherwise pay the amount for my washing machine parts.

    Very pathetic situation i never face from any service center. Yesterday it's Happens, Actual Proffessional who hired for my washing machine not came, but aother Person his assistant came to home with one part of my washing machine Instaed two. He was very hurrey came and opening the machine without telling anything. I shocked. I struggled feom past one week to contact them but didn't bothered. I asked him wheer is Proffessional to whom i hired? he said he is on leave. And he come come with only one new spare part that is door lock. But thses guys breaks door hook when tried for unlock the door. But he is not coming with that part. And came with other new spare part that is Drain pump. Here it is what they breaking from my washing machine. I shocked why you are not taken door hook and why you added drain pump. he said i will try to fix with these.If it fix, it's ok otherwise i can't to anything he said, I shocked with his behaviour and that answer. I stopped the further service, he asked the otp, but refuse to share otp. I said, i want to talk customer care he left from house. Almost 10 days gone without resolve the problem. They break my parts from washing machine. In the evening got call from customer she sked is there any call or service from Proffessional, i said what happened. but she is not bothered about service. She told So, you are recieved your recieved your spare parts i will convey to concern departmant. what Resolution, What a customer Care.
    This is the Resolution any Cutomer Looking for. No care for Customer Property, Either it's damaged or lost or long delayed. After that there is no call from customer care regarding Proffessional Damaged Parts during the service.

    Today is 26/09/2022 no one contacted for Resolution of the damaged parts.
    Almost one Month done but there is no resolution from urban comapany. Worst Experience, they blocked my chat room also. I can't contact them and there is response from them.

      Hi,
      I had taken Home appliance repair service on 5th September for my Microwave. The IFB microwave convection oven. was working perfectly the only problem was that the 2 switches were not working (On & Re-heat button). The technician from The Urban Company stated that there is a part to be changed which will cost Rs.2200/-, to which I agreed and he made the further repair/ change of product. The next day the microwave started working automatically without us putting it On, so we called him again to check what was wrong, he took the part which he repaired again and came the next day to fix it. On the same day again the microwave was working automatically and I guess it was on for a very long time as the body of the microwave was very hot.I then contacted the company again to send a senior technician to check the problem, and he resolved the issue for a day or two but then the Microwave light was not working and it is still not working. When we used the convection for cooking purpose there was no cooking done, so we called him again to check what was wrong. He said that this is out of his control and we should contact the company as they don't know what exactly is wrong and what the 1st technician has done that he can't resolve.
      First, only 2 buttons were not working. Now my entire product has been spoiled by your so-called Urban Company trained technicians. I can only heat and can't use my microwave for cooking purposes at all. On calling your customer care someone calls me and says they are ready to refund my Rs.2200/- but that's no solution to my problem, you have spoiled my working microwave and I want your company to fix it as it was before or else reimburse me with the same brand Microwave Convention.
      I am really tired of tracing this problem for a long time, from 5th Sept - 18th Sept, no proper solution or answers has been provided by The Urban Company. Kindly escalate this and give me a solution to my problem.

        Hi. I logged an aircon repair requirement on the 4th of July 2022 with Urban Company. The technician Aaftab Ahmed was dispatched and attended to the Aircons that were faulty in my premises. He spent the entire day doing services which amounted to INR 20500. This included replacement of Capacitors, re-gassing and various leak repairs. The technician instructed that I pay them via UPI for the services which I proceeded to do. This technician was dressed in the Urban Company uniform. I then after found out via another technician that the Aircons were not serviced as what was billed for as these aircons started to break down shortly after the initial service ( within 1 week). I then logged a help call with Urban Company to which they phone me back and forth with multiple calls stating that i would receive the full refund and then lastly to try wiggle their way out of paying the full refund I requested for. At the end now on the 16th September 2022 they have finally come back to me stating that they cant provide me with the full refund as it was out of service apparently. This was never made clear to me from the start and I feel this company has scammed me, especially that the technician was wearing their uniform and is logged on their system.

            I had booked Kent RO servicing and it was done on 24.03.2022 and I was charged Rs. 3887/- for change of parts like Membrane and others.

            I booked the same RO service for today and I was told by your professional Rajan that Membrane is required to be changed again.

            Kindly inform me what kind of Membrane was installed at the first time which couldn't last for 06 months.

            That's expected reply from your side, just a copy/paste from the template. You don't care about customer, just money.

            You may feel it to be right to spend around Rs4000/- every six months for my RO to keep working!
            I am not giving you any opportunity to fool me twice. I hope your every customer realises your scam.

              On Sep 6th I booked for a AC repair and a deep clean service.
              Technician named venkatesh was assigned for Sep 7th and he came and checked the AC, he mentioned that some issue at the board, it has to be repaired.
              When I asked how much and when it will be done, he told that 1200 around only will come and it will take 2 days time. I said ok.

              Until 11th there was no phone call from him, then when i tried calling him thru the urban company app, he told to get a double booster stabilizer and he is on the way. he instead that he will bring a good one and to purchase from him i repled, i have already got one.

              Sunday evening he was supposed to come, he did not turn up. and when i gave a compaint in UC app, they told monday 0430 he will be viisting your place and the same the technician also told.

              When I tried reaching him around 0500 pm, he did not even answer my call the entire monday.

              I gave several complaints to UC, they opening a ticket and without resolution they are closing it

              On 13th When tried to reach the technician he told today at 1245 pm definitely he will come to my place, when i call him at 1245 he said by 0315 then it became 6 and then he texted that he will come by 0815 for sure.

              Post that I tried more than 50 calls. his number was in waiting or he is disconnecting and not answering my calls.

              Again I raised a complaint with UC, they not even responding,

              I told the first day, Its by baby room, without AC baby could not sleep properly. so requestd him to fix the ac at the earliest.

              Atleast if the ac board which he took, if he has returned to me i would have fixed with some local vendor, now he has not returned the board so i have to purchase a new AC only.

              I cannot see my 1year old baby suffer.

              Initially he said 1200 will be the cost, and on 11th he told 3200 and on 13th he said 4000,

              When checked this rating in uc app, similiar complaints are there against him.

              In that case why the UC is providing job for this kind of person.

              who is stealing others hard earned products.

              I want strong action taken against the technican and the urban company who failed to address my issue.

              I want a compensation for the sufferings i went thru and for the loss of my product

                The service professional assigned to clean my house as a part o[censored]rban Company’s cleaning service damaged my wall. I have before and after pics of the wall.the service professional used a dirty cloth to wipe the tubelight and wiped wall with same cloth leaving muddy stain on my wall.
                When I complained he denied and now urban company call Center people are saying we can give you refund of 300Rs as a compensation which is absurd the cost of damage is much more on top of this the worst part is there is no response from urban company.

                  Hi Urban clap team,

                  I have booked carpenter service for repairing my damaged sliding door on 29 Aug 2022 and it was assigned to professional 'Rajini Kanth'.

                  He has not provided any Service so far and not completed the work. He visited our home on 30th Aug 2022 and inspected the existing sliding door and he suggested converting the existing sliding door to a regular handle door.

                  We asked him if the existing wooden door can be used for converting to a regular model handle door, he said it's possible and took measurements. He asked for an advance amount of 8600 for taking up this work to purchase required accessories. 8000 rupees for conversion work and 600 for channel replacement work near the TV unit.

                  We have given him cash by hand of Rs.5000 and Rs.3600 via google pay.He asked us to allow 3-4 days to complete the work. He even compelled us to give 5 star rating in front o[censored]s, so we did.

                  The next evening(31-Aug), he called us and forced us to take brand new wooden doors instead o[censored]sing our existing doors as some of the accessories are not available to complete the conversion work. We clearly asked him before picking up the work that the existing wooden doors can be used for conversion. He was so confident at that time and took measurements and given commitment and took an advance amount of 8600 from us.

                  We clearly told him that we do not want any brand new wooden doors as it is not required for us or not initially agreed. We asked him to refund our money if you are not able to complete the agreed work. He asked us for 3 more days to search for the required accessories.

                  We again called him on 3rd Sep 2022 asking for the status, he is telling us that the required accessories are not available in Hyderabad city. We asked him to refund the money as he is not able to complete the work. But, he started showing true colors and telling us that a wooden frame was already purchased for this work, so give 1 week time to return the money.

                  Why did he buy wooden frames if the conversion is not feasible or not all accessories are not available ? No answer from him.
                  Why did he not take confirmation from us while purchasing wood frames ? No answer from him.

                  We waited for a week and we called him again on 10th Sep, he told us that the wooden frames were not sold, so I need some more time and can't refund the money. When we told that we would raise a complaint to the urban clap company, he was so blunt and he was even blackmailing us stating - I will just come and fit wooden frames for the name sake, it will be a waste of your time and money.

                  From the next day onwards(11th Sep), He is not answer the call when we thought to ask him about the refund.

                  It looks like he was simply telling all these fake stories, he is wantedly doing this drama to make us go for new doors where he will get more money. (or) simply he is planning to rob our advance amount of 8600.

                  It's almost 2 weeks now where we have given him money, but no service from him.

                  We are not at all happy and very disappointed with the way the urban clap professional behaved with us. Very worst experience we ever had was from carpenter services.

                  I wanted to give him 0 stars now, but edit option is not available to re-rate the professional.

                  We contacted urban clap customer service on 11 Sep, but that is also not satisfactory.

                  Customer service executives keep on changing from time to time and they are telling us that we will contact a carpenter professional and arrange a conference call. But when I asked for an update, they told me that a carpenter professional is on duty right now and allow us some time to call you.

                  I have contacted 4-5 executives on the same(Neelam singh, Lata kumari, Aanchal Jha, Nirjala singh etc). But so far no positive response from them and it's so frustrating for us to follow up with different executives and explain the same thing.

                  We will never book any service under urban clap because of this horrible experience.

                    During intense cleaning of bathroom the unprofessional so called professional damaged the very expensive wash basin and commode. When I tried to ask the professional straight away he ran from my premises. After that I raised this issue with snaps with UC customer care through UC app. They said they are calling professional but he is not picking up their calls but withing 24hrs they will resolve the issue positively as appliances are covered under insurance of rs. 10000/- in case of damaged during the service. And now it's been more than 24hrs now but didn't hear anything from UC staffs. Also they have closed the chat just by updating our executive will call you soon. They have disabled the chat option for so I can't even do the follow ups on my complaint. Somehow found their head office and Bangalore office contact number they didn't pick the call. Can't expect this kind o[censored]nprofessional approach by UC towards the customers. I am just advising all not to use their services as they are not reachable at all in the event of any fault from their side.

                        Worst experience i had we booked for carpenter work. His name is Sunil - [protected]. The person who came was rude and got OTP when entering in itself which should be given.only after satisfactory work done. Asked for a huge amount to do a small work then we cancelled the job but lost our money paid earlier through Urinjum( zapping) Company

                          I needed my washing machine to be repaired. Raised a request, the engineer came, took the PCB board and then started quoting false deadlines. After a lot of back and forth he returned it. And it stopped working the very next day. Raised a request again as they have a 30 day policy. The same guy came again, said that it can't be repaired but took the board with himself and then started with the same thing, ignoring calls, giving false deadlines. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A MONTH. Something that was supposed to take 3-4 days, it has taken a month. They still have the PCB with themselves. The engineer had said that he'll return it on 1 st September, it's 10 today. I tried to call him from a different number and he said that he's busy and will return it on 12th. This is pure harassment. The customer care number of the company doesn't work, the only way to contact them is through a chat option on the app which them don't reply to. I know for a fact that he'll not repair it. I SIMPLY WANT THEM TO RETURN MY PCB BOARD ALONG WITH MY MONEY SO THAT I CAN GET IT REPAIRED ELSEWHERE.

                            Urban Company sold an Insurance last digits: 41208 for registered number 74XXXX1528.

                            However they are not even responding to claim on warranty now. Repairs are not done. When asked for an option to escalate, the call center says there is no policy of escalation. While trying to chat, the chat team just does not responds. Its been a wait from 27th Aug.

                            As per technician, UC says its between him and us as customer. He needs to collect money from customer. When its warranty, then its UC who need to get repairs done. Which is not the case here

                              This is the worst service ever experienced. Both ac service and customer support are equally pathatic. The guy came and spoiler the ac and the support cancelled the re visit and not replying. There is no revisit nor callback and explaining if any problem, even not replying in chat section. I dont know how to deal with these guys.
                              One guy spoke and told I will assign the best expert to this case and the next day other guy cancelled the visit and told no one are free. Till date there is no call back or any kind of communication.

                                Initially Split AC serviced (Deep Clean ) on 27 Jun 22 with payment Rs. 648/-. The technician rec for Gas Fill to make the machine perfect
                                Subsequently based on rec. on 8 Aug made the gas refill and paid 2559. But still the machine was not performing and the the new person asked for another parts change costing another around 1500. Gas also leaking. Objected and asked for refund. It was assured that My refund would be given.
                                Even after one month and continues reminder on portal also the amount not refunded yet. My Contact Number -[protected]

                                  I told expert numerous times that their is some issue with my Ac and something is not working. I told him i am ready to pay any amount but i need a real solution. He told me their is no issue everything is fine it just needs cleaning and need to fill the gas. Now he did not listen to me and said everything is fine. And asked me to call him if it happens again. And it happened again and i booked another repair with UC. These experts are telling me motherboard is damaged. Now they are from the same company. What is my fault in this why should I suffer. I contacted Urban company regarding this and spoke to 3 agents on chat one after another and they take forever to reply. So the 1st one called me and said she can't hear anything and she did that twice and third one had a conversation with me where i explained her everything in detail but her reply was that since it is out if 60 days expiry period so we can't do anything. But where is my fault in this. And when i told her its not my fault i told this to the expert she ended the call on my and i asked her chat why she did that i got no reply. I can see the ticks are blue she is still on chat waiting me to end that. If we customers act the same way with your experts and not pay them and tell them we can't hear how will you like it. I have the call recordings and the chat screenshots which is still active and no reply.

                                    I had booked Urban Company services to clean my grandparents house.

                                    Ganesh S was the professional assigned for this booking. He arrived at home and left within 2 hours. Only my grandparents were at home. He did not clean the kitchen at all. Neither the sink nor the stove stop. Simply wiped it off. He definitely did not clean the bathroom. It’s covered in cobwebs and stains on the tiles. The drain was covered with hair which was previously there. The bedroom is filled with cobwebs. He cheated senior citizens at home. Convinced them that he has done a good job when he knew about their poor eyesight. When I spoke to him over the phone he said I have cleaned everything and left his contact number and said to contact him if we need anything. The reason for the cleaning was we were arriving the following day with a newborn baby to the house but the professional cheated senior citizens and lied about his services and simply left without completing his job.

                                    But ever since I’m trying to reach Urban Company and the professional to resolve the issue and both are unavailable.

                                      Hello, this is regarding a fraud issue I had with one of your technicians Mr Mithun Bhowmik.

                                      (LONG THREAD : Skip to end for TLDR )

                                      I booked a deep cleaning AC package with your company for 3 Sep 2022 @ 3pm.

                                      Your technician Mr Mithun was assigned to me. He and his partner arrived exactly at 3pm (attached call logs). He asked me about last service date and quality of cooling, which was around a year ago and no issues with cooling.

                                      Without confirming the OTP, his partner climbed outside to outdoor unit of AC with his tools.

                                      Few minutes later Mr Mithun informs us the screw in outdoor unit is loose, and gas is leaking slowly. He told us pressure reading was around 80, when it should be above 110.
                                      He told me that he can fix it for ₹3k more. He denied to give cleaning service without fixing the gas leak first and insisted very hard that we get it fixed from him . We denied paying for gas leak as our AC was cooling pretty good.

                                      He cleverly told to reschedule the cleaning service as he won't provide it and get gas leak checked before it and went away. I did as he guided me through the app.

                                      Later that day AC wasn't cooling anymore. I was sweating at night whereas I get chills normally.

                                      ( I have temperature logs for every day) .

                                      Next day the two different technicians came and checked the gas leak, the reading was down to 40 which is why it wasn't cooling atall. They further explained that this level of pressure leak isn't something that can happen over a year(As the AC would just not cool for months and possibly get damaged i[censored]sed) rather something happened over a few days. I had to refill the gas which costed me ₹2.2k.

                                      The other technicians were very sorry after hearing the story and showed concern as few frauds like this Mr Mithun ruin reputation of good companies and their livelihood for quick buck.

                                      TLDR: Basically the technician Mr Mithun Bhowmik caused malfunction by leaking my AC gas in hopes of making more commision money by offering to refill. I ended up wasting 3 days, ₹2.2k, and had to write this long email after this experience left me very distasteful.

                                      I am hoping for a quick and thoughtful resolution to issue.
