    Washing Machine repair scam

    31.7.22 I booked Urban company for service which my working washing machine not started means power on but washing not started

    One UC person came on that day and he said there was a sensor problem and it cost around 1500 . Then he collected 500rs from me and said tomorrow will fix the issue

    1.8.22 he came with some sensor and install and then also it is not working then he said circuit board problem I will fix...

    TV repair and after sales service

    I booked a professional for repair of tv on 30 th May 2022. The urban company charged me for replacement of speakers and other charges. After a day, the same problem occured for which the technician told me that the speaker installed recently by him was not good so he will replace the same soon. On 11th june 2022, he replaced the speakers again. For some days, the same problem again occured.. Now when I connected with the customer support...

      One of my office AC wall spilt units was having the issue of low cooling and I got a booking done from the Urban Company app for AC repairs for 23rd Aug 22.
      The UC technician who came, and investigated the AC for a few minutes, told me that there are multiple issues, including Gas topping up. I told him that the estimate is quite high and I would like to take a second opinion.
      Instead of closing the case and charging for the visit, he cancelled the request.
      I rebooked from the urban company once again for the following day, ie..24th Aug 22.
      The 2nd partner who came investigated the AC thoroughly and the following were his observations:
      1. The AC has been tempered by the 1st technician from UC
      2. He has removed a few wires and parts essentially to make the AC malfunction
      3. He has damaged the capacitor
      4. He has loosened the nut, and inlet for the gas chamber, so the gas leakage can take place

      I immediately arranged for a call back from UC, and got a call back after 35 mins, although the app showed a time max of 15 mins.
      I explained the issue to the agent, made him speak with the 2nd technician, and asked him to resolve this. He said he WILL NOT be able to resolve this and I have to pay for the repairs. He said he will send me a link where I can upload the evidence (?) for them to investigate. The link never came.

      I was left with no option but to get my AC repaired at a cost of Rs. 3050.
      I want a 100% refund for the damages and compensation for mental harassment.

      I have all the evidence to prove my case.
      This is a serious case o[censored]nethical practice, theft and fraud.
      If the Urban Company is unable to resolve a genuine case, I will be considering my legal options.

        AC repair is done in urban company, charged 4699 but the problem is not solved so again revisited the issue and said it cant be done by them and refund the amount of lg AC tech repair is done, now it is finished they are postponing the issue without giving any clarification on this issue...

        I booked a pest control service on 3rd August, 2022. The cockroach removal is a two-stage process and after the first step, there is not too much change (i.e. there are still cockroaches).

        The professional completed the first stage and a follow-up was scheduled for 15th August, 2022 (which was later resceduled to 17th August, 2022). The professional failed to show up despite his assurances and repeated calls.

        We tried contacting Urban Company customer care several times and were told that the case was being passed on to the escalation team, being promised a resolution in 24 hours. To date, we have not got any resolution to the issue.

        This is terrible customer service and a first in my experience with Urban Company. I'm surprised but hoping for a prompt resolution.

          Hi Team,

          This is to keep you update I had taken service on 21st March’2022 and urban clap technician had repaired my TV and given warranty for 1 year in urban clap receipt.but within 3 months my television was damaged and trying to connect with support team past 1 months onwards but finally I had received the call on today and received pathetic comments like if I have received the Urban Clap partner warranty so I need to talk with technician not Urban Clap company so they are forcing the ticket to close their side. It means if I have purchased the Samsung mobile, within warranty if any damage is there so we will not go to Samsung service care, so as per Urban clap support team we need to go shop where had I purchased the mobile.

            Laser hair reduction service

            I asked urban company customer support team, if i can book 5 laser session and take every session in different city and the said yes. So i booked 5 session for laser hair reduction when i was in kolkata and took one session there . Now i am in bangalore and trying to redeem 2nd session, but it is saying book in same city as original order. Its been 2 days, they have not resolved the issue....

            Since 19th aug afternoon i have booked for salon work at 4.30pm. without intimation rescheduled for 22nd Aug, when i checked i rescheduled for 20th 9 a.m as it is showing availability in their website.but again they did not assign and rescheduled to 21st aug 1 pm. They don't have any direct no. To reach. The employees who are in chat session totally unprofessional.when i asked for compensation they denied when i asked to connect call to senior they said there are no senior.False promises made i was asked to check classic option if in prime professional not available.they are not fit for cm service being such a reputed brand.worst experience for 2nd time.need appropriate action against that employee who said their are no senior to whom I can talk but I listened behind their clappings are going on.               Hi UC,

              I am in extreme frustration to share with you that my booking experience for UC Plumbing service has been such a horrible experience.

              The plumber did the repairs and charged me Rs 5000.From the very next day I started facing issue with the repair he did to the flush tank. The flush tank was working properly before and he repaired it to increase the water flow.It did worked but now the tank is leaking like anything.

              When i raised a Revisit request he shared my his pics and informed that hes not well.So I waited for the UC to arrange an another professional but to my surprise no one called and the one who called just told me to wait.

              I have raised Several tickets but no solution has been provided. I want to share some of the pics as it did not went through on your application.Please see attached, the pictures of the professional, the repair the leakage and the incessant behavior of customer care executive demonstrated in the chat screenshot.

              If no solution would be provided so I will be forced to take a legal recourse!

                July 31st they have attended AC issue mentioned that condenser problem. So they have removed both indoor and outdoor unit and taken for service. They have kept AC for almost 5 days. After 15 minutes it was observed that it is not functioning with Auto cut-off. Once again August 15th was attended. But still problem is continuing. But even AC is not working. Third time they have scheduled on 15th of August. Still now they are not responding both technician and urban company. Since the warranty period is until 2nd October. The response o[censored]C makes me very stressed. I need justification for this issue.

                I have registered an issue with an urban company about a cooling issue.The Technician has told me that the condenser coil has to be replaced.They have removed both indoor and outdoor units and kept them for 5 days.He has mentioned everything was replaced with new parts.Please find attached invoice for your reference.The Very next day, Compressor runs without an auto-cutoff.On August 6th he visited my home and replaced the new sensor and informed me to observe for one day.Unfortunately, Compressor wasn't running.Third time a complaint was raised.The technician came on wednesday on 17th of August and observed that nothing has been done except gas charging.Particularly.they have painted condenser coil in indoor unit not to address.Senior Technician (Sarath kumar)has told that they haven't changed anything except gas charging.Senior Technician (Sarath kumar) has changed a new condenser, after that compressor got started but AC runs without Auto-cutoff.
                Due to paint in the condenser coil in the indoor unit, the sensor was not sensed properly.The Technician (jayakumar) was cheated and hasn't replaced anything except gas charging and also billed for 2 ton condenser coil.In my home I am using a 1.5 ton split AC.As per my discussion with the Urban company team.Kindly refund the amount excluding gas charging and condenser.Please find attached invoice copy for your reference.

                  Damaged my TV during services and no taken my TV and not giving responses

                  I have contacted urban company for my TV repair, they visited and replaced backlight for 2500 Rs and given bill of 2200 only. After 3 days display got faulty and they revisited and taken my TV. It has been more than 10 days and now they are not giving responses, even not getting call from customer services and if by chance they call they will not response properly and disconnect the call....

                  My account was fixed on 7th Aug as there was some gas leak...but just in 2 days it stopped cooling...upon claiming warranty by urban company got to know that the coil is damaged however none of the previous professional told me about this...hence it must have gotten damaged during repair...I've got no callback from urban company...even after raising multiple requests...being a pm myself it is worst cx you can give...if this is not fixed I am taking this to the consumer court...and it will be a lot more than just 10k

                    -- मैंनेे 28 जून 2022 को प्रथम बार आपके प्रतिनिधि श्री अतहर खान से अपना Voltas एसी ठीक कराने के लिये विडियो सलाह ली थी और एसी इंजीनियर की सर्विस बुक कराई थी ।

                    ---तदानुसार दिनांक 29 जून 2022 को आपके अधिकृत इंजीनियर श्री संतोष कुमार द्वारा मेरे खराब पड़े वोल्टास एसी को चेक कर Crack फ्रेल नट को बदला गया व उसमें गैस फिलिंग की गई । एसी 4–5 दिन सही चला उसके बाद उसकी कृलिंग फिर से कम हो गई ।

                    ---इसकी शिकायत पुन:आपके एप पर की गई । 6 जुलाई 2022 श्री संतोष कुमार ने दोबारा Revisit कर एसी में गैस लीक पाया और फिर से गैस भर दी । एसी लगभग एक सप्ताह ठीक चला उसके बाद फिर से कूलिंग कम हो गई ।

                    ---एक बार फिर से आपके एप से सम्पर्क करने पर मुझे बताया गया कि इस बार किसी सीनियर इंजीनियर को भेजा जायेगा लेकिन अभी स्लाट खाली नहीे है । कई बार सम्पर्क करने पर आपके प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा लगातार यही बताया जाता रहा कि सीनियर इंजीनियर के स्लाट खाली नहीं है । और साथ ही यह सलाह भी दी गई आप अपने गैस फिलिगं के पैसे वापिस ले लें और फ्रेश शिकायत करें । मुझे यह भी बताया गया कि आपकी 60 दिन की आापकी वांरटी 28 अगस्त 2022 तक है । और यदि सर्विस के दौरान आपके एसी के किसी पार्ट को नुकसान हुआ होगा तो उसका 10000 तक का कवर रहेगा । मैंने उक्त आश्वासन प्राप्त होने पर आापके प्रतिनिधि को गैस के पैसे लौटाने की सहमति दे दी गई ।
                    ---मैने पुन: 8 अगस्त 2022 को आपके एप पर एसी की कुलिंग की फ्रेश शिकायत बुक कराई । दिनांक 9 अगस्त 2022 को एक बार फिर आपके अधिकृत इंजीनियर श्री संतोष कुमार ने एसी कर निरीक्षण किया और इस बार बताया गया कि आपके एसी का कन्डेन्सर खराब हो गया है । और इसको ठीक करने में 6000 कन्डेसर काईल और 3000 गैस फिलिंग के मिलाकर 9000 का खर्च लगेगा ।

                    अब मुझे लग रहा है कि आपका इंजीनियर अप्रशिक्षित था । उसकी गलत सर्विस के कारण उसने मेरे एसी का कन्डेन्सर खराब हुआ है । मैं आपके 10000 के कवर के अन्तर्गत मेरे एसी को तत्काल ठीक कराये जाने की मांग करता हूं । आप मेरे एसी को आगामी 10 दिन के अन्दर ठीक करायें ।

                      I am Urban Company Customer with registered mobile [protected]. I am having worst experience at this moment on Split AC cooling resolution issue, after paying 16000 INR to Urban Company no one bothers the resolve the issue and item is in Warranty.

                      1. On 22nd March 2022- Technician came and said gas needs to be filled - I asked him to verify the leakages - Verified, said no leakages - Charged INR 2500/-
                      2. On 12th June 2022 - Same technician came and said gas needs to be filled and Aluminum pipes are gone and needs to be replaced with Copper Pipes. So eventually the amount I Paid in March is waste and now to replace Copper piles and all works (Gas Filling and refitting AC) - technician charged INR 13, 498. Used AC only for a week
                      3. On 2nd August 2022 - Switching on after a Month now again cooling does not comes. It is free revisit as still under Warranty, technician says there is Compressor problem and he needs approval to do it. And Over vide call senior technician said all good, but no cooling Comes. I don't understand how one can say all good if no cooling comes via AC and technician pulled out all the gas.
                      4. Did too many follow ups with Urban Company via app, daily one new person calls - after reminders via apps - and had to explain same story to every one. No one maintains the history of the problem.
                      5. On 9th August 2022 - Another technician came, he gives different reason, there is leakage in pipe. He does not want to do service as he does not get money as AC is under Warranty.

                      Finally no one is interested to solve the problem. Urban Company does not maintain what Customer explains and what needs to be solved. Losing trust on the organization after paying 16000 INR, and if you see no one bothers about it, how can an organization build a trust.

                      Unit is still under Warranty, no matter if the warranty expires (14th Aug 2022) problem needs to be resolved as complaint was given way ahead of time and doing daily follow up for the resolution.

                      Technician came and resolved the issue on 16th August. Before closing this I want to wait for a month as the problem also with a gas leakage which takes time to observe whether the problem is resolved or not. But thank you for addressing from this channel.

                            Complaint -- Water Purifier

                            This is in regards to the Water Purifier which was sold by Urban Company not more than 3 Months back and i have been facing a lot of Issues and no one is ready to Help me.

                            I purchased this water Purifier in April this year and so far it has gone faulty at-least 4 times. Including Defects with Over Flowing, Lights Not working and now from the past 2 days RO is not functioning at all. I have raised a complaint 2 days back and...

                            Dear Urban Company Team,

                            Greetings of the day

                            This mail in regards to the Urban company services for AC has been taken from your portal on April 19th 2022 done by Mohd. Shahwez Asif.

                            After service we got the information that during service the PCB unit was destroyed while doing service by Water.

                            When the complaint for the same was raised to the urban company the company sent a new executive namely Sakir Hussain bearing Mobile Number - [protected].

                            That on May 10th as per the company policy he repaired the PCB and gas in the AC unit but the remote which was included in the New PCB was not working.

                            Mr Sakir promised to provide the new Remote within 2 working days and the same was mentioned in the receipt provided by us.

                            That since a month after taking daily follow ups he denied to give any remote for which I approached the urban company. After 3 days of followup he reached out to my place today i.e 14.07.2022 around 16:30 P.M. during which my old mother was available.

                            That while he gave the remote which was too old and unoperational my old mother objected the same but he got so rude and said "Itna Bura karunga ki AC kya kuch nahi chala Paaoge"" and ""AC ke saare parts nikaal ke le Beech dunga".

                            After this wording to safeguard her from the same heated up professional she took the old remote and gave me a call for assistance.

                            For 2 months my AC unit is unoperational and my mother has been given threats by the Professional.

                            I am writing this mail that if the urban company will resolve the issue within 48 hours of this mail or else I will be bound to File a case against the professional in the Police Station and same a case of various Penal Provisions against the Company in competent court of law.

                            Awaiting for a quick and Positive response.
