Hi,
I used to trust Urbancompany with its services but it had proven me wrong as your employees have shown such disrespect to me who was your long time customer.
The actual problem- I had booked for a plumbing service on 20th July 2022, your professional came at around 9 in the morning and till evening 5 pm he couldn't solve the problem. The problem being simple as the concealed flush tank was not filling water. He said that some parts needed to be replaced, he went out and returned after more than an hour and still the problem remained. (He charged me Rs. 2500/- for the part which I bought at Rs. 800/- later.) As he showed incompetency i asked him to take up his other orders till then i will get the part and then will call him. Then he came but still the problem didn't go away. He said the part that I bought didn't fit. So I returned it.Â
So while leaving he broke one of the flush tank parts from the inside which we at home came to know when i booked for another plumber from your side the next day. But he too genuinely said he couldn't do it and took the charged money which is Rs. 369/- and left.Â
My point being, I had to stay home for them as my mother was alone at home but in spite of that my problem was not solved upon that your guy broke one of my parts and fixed the things in a jumbled way on 20th. Second, it cost me two days of job work as I had to stay home to attend them. And after all that the problem persists.Â
So now after all this mental torture, i seek help from your customer helpline. They heard everything and then said they will look after the issue but then after that you all forgot. Nobody seems bothered and no one cares about the issue I am facing and the kind of harassment you and your people are causing me.
Who is going to pay for the broken part, my two days' job work has piled up and my two days salary has just blown away and your people are telling me that they are refunding me Rs. 369/-. I want that refund but also the cost that it will take me to repair the broken part by your professional.
This is ridiculous from a brand like you. And if I don't see any help coming from your side I am willing to take this matter on a higher level and take it legally and I will make sure I get a refund for all my mental peace that you and your people have disturbed and damaged and also for the broken parts of my tank.
Thanks for such a wonderful lame experience.Â

    Service booking cancelled/No refund of booking amount

    I booked the house-cleaning service offered by Urban Company on 18 July, 2022. The cleaning was to be done on 20 July, 2022. I pressed the time slot at 8.30 am and paid the booking amount Rs. 499/-
    On 20 July, at 7.30 am, , I got a call from a guy who asked for my number - yes, he asked for my mobile number while making a call to me - and asked for the address and landmarks. I gave these to him.

    My AC had little droplets of water on the fan so I had booked an AC repair visit through urban company. The professional said it will cost Rs 3000/- for AC service and gas fill.Which i agreed and paid for, the very next day my AC stopped cooling completely.

    I complained to urban company again and they sent the same guy, now today he says that there is fault in your coil (which was not till previous service) and new coil will cost Rs 6000/-.

    Also the gas which was filled is all leaked out . My AC had a minor problem but now is not cooling also i was looted for Rs 3000/- and now being asked for Rs 6000/ more for a problem which wasnt there in the first place.!

    I have tried calling customer care number several times but in vain

        Still my AC is not working and my problems are not solved.
        I will Repair my AC with my own and i will filed case against your behaviour and for your commitment to Grahak suraksha.
        Your employees are calling me and when i ask to solve my Issue they cut the Phone call and not call me back.
        this is all my hard working Money.
        I will make sure atleast in Vadodara i will raise the voice through local media.

            Split Ac uninstallation and installation leaked the cooling gas

            My concern is related to the split Ac service I took from urban clap.
            On April 21st 2022 Urbanclap technician did the service and also added cooling gas to my Ac, then on 1st July 2022 I had to uninstall the Ac as I was moving to a different house and the uninstallation was also done by urban clap technician. On July 13th I again booked Ac installation service from Urbanclap, first the technician didn’t install the Ac properly...

            Dear sir
            I have booked a repair service of my AC on 6 Jul 2022, Engineer came and checked superficially and said that there is no issue. but i asked him to check properly as my ac' s cooling was less and it was taking heavy load on wire. the profession did not give solution and went that day. the next day[protected] in the night, there was spark in the indoor and it was burned from inside. next day again i book service from UC to check and engineer came and said that Indoor is non workable. then I raised a complaint for compensation and escalation team call me on 9 Jul 2022 and promised me to give solution within 48 hrs but while I am writing this email, it has been 6 days but no response from team even after making so many call back request. request you to kindly resolve my problem and give me compensation as in that fire someone may have injured badly

                Please read below my complaint to Urban Company and to you also:

                Today professional has arrived second time for the same work, during his first visit he has completed the work but on very next we faced issue with his work, again we requested UC to assign professional for the same work, today the same guy same and not agreeing on his mistakes after marathon arguments he admitted he has not completed the work properly due to lack of tools in his bag, today I warned him that this swing is for my child so do your work properly otherwise my daughter might get hurt, if you want to change anything you are free to do, but he said now don't worry today I'm having complete tool and I fixed it permanently.

                But right now my daughter was swinging and suddenly he fall down and get hurted, she is having pain in his head as her head hits the ground. Now tell me whose fault is this ?

                I'll raise this concern to consumer court also, I want to talk to that carpenter who has done this blunder.

                  So we had a technician come in to our apartment to repair and regas our aircons. He gave us a 60 day warranty and spending 20500 rupees. After a 4 days the one aircon stopped working. We have contacted him numerous of times where each time is a different excuse. We told him that he needs to come today to fix this as its been now more then a week and again he gave us an excuse. Did he really just [censored]ed us because we are foreigners in India so he could squeeze a lot of money out from us?
                  All I want is for my aircon to work and not get excuses after excuses as to why he cannot be here. The said technician is Aaftab

                    Its been a week uc executive has taken an advance amount of 1500 from us and taken our washing machine display part to get it repair but no response from their side since a week just they are diverting service one to two and two to three...and not resolving even the person is not picking up our call since 3 days.i want to complaint against them about this issue.

                            I had purchased appliance warranty plan on Feb'22 for a Daikin AC. That AC stopped working on 6th Jul 22. I had raised a claim under warranty on the same day. App stated our team will call you back in 30 mins. But god only knows when that 30 mins will come. Worst part is there no option of contacting Customer care directly, it is that they will call you as per their leisure & you have to wait. I am raising claims intermittently since last 3 days daily but still no response. My AC is as it is. Horrible, frustrating.
                            When i didnt get any response i just booked AC repair service on 8th Jul 22 & the repair guy arrived in an hour. When i asked it is under warranty he was clue less obliviously.

                            I cancelled the service & got a cancellation charge of 49 Rs. I raised a refund request for this RS 49. To justify cancellation charges is applicable as i cancelled, i have received 3 calls on the same day. Even today morning also i received a call.

                            But no update on warranty claim.

                            Its height of fraud. Dont go for Appliance warranty SCAM by UC.

                              I have booked service for my sofa cleaning and the professional has used some chemical which destroyed the whole leather of my Durian Philly sofa of 1 lakh. Now repair cost is 35K and as per complaint given to company they have damage policy of 10K. Now let me know who will bear the cost. This is height o[censored]n-professionalism.

                              Hi, no one called me up for the update and resolution here. Complaint TAT was reflecting today till 07:15pm. Its a height o[censored]n-professionalism.
                              Hi, many calls have been received, but as of now no satisfactory response. Please find attached the quotation of Durian for getting damage repaired.

                              Get it resolved on top top priority.

                                Absolutely rubbish service, professional broke the tap & left it broken. Ruined the tiles, fixtures, and door with acid used for cleaning.

                                There were fumes & horrible smells while he was cleaning the bathroom.

                                serviced was booked of 5 July & same afternoon complaint was raised with UC & ever since then they been of no use. They are not ready to send another professional to fix the problem & they have no other alternative.

                                Simply denied help & said that they are not able to contact the person who visited so cant help as they have already paid him for service.

                                SO NEVER BOOK ANY SERVICE WITH URBAN COMPANY.NEVER.

                                They hire people who they can't even contact back, UNDERSTAND how DANGEROUS this is.
