I had booked a chimney service on 3rd nov and technician named Veeresh visited. Ext day. He checked and told the board needs replacement and took away chimney. Next day he came back with chimney and fixed, I asked where is the old board, he have no answer. That made me doubt that he didn’t change it. When he left I opened the box and checked, it was my old board he just fixed facing other way. He charged around 3k just rotating the board other side. Contacted service desk many times and looks like technician is ignoring them as well and they keep postponing. I am not going to use this Urban company in my lifetime. They are indirectly getting profit of this kind of cheating,

    My washing machine was in working condition except water drainage problem on 26th October 2022 before your technician comes
    He said there is problem in pcb he took my pcb with him and comes on Friday 28th October at 1 pm with repaired pcb and start reinstalling it after around 5.30 pm he told me that your door lock is also having problem so he makes another booking for door lock in URBAN CLAP app.
    Then after few days he asks me to cancel booking.
    Now my washing machine is in very bad condition and Siemens technician asking for Rs 20 thousands. I provide you the Siemens tech phone and screen shot already in chat.

    I demand compensation for this.

      On 26th Oct'22 I complained for revisit job for my android TV. On 25th night he came since he was working nearby and took the job and said will complete in 3 days. After 3 days I called him up and said is coming in the evening. For the next 3 days he kept on telling me little job is incomplete and will definitely come in evening. For the last 3 days I left all my work and reached home for him but he didn't come.
      On 31st Oct'22 I raised complain to UC and for next 3 days they were unable to resolve and kept giving me morning - evening time and the professional didn't responded properly to them also.
      Yesterday in the evening at 8:30 the professional came and told me new story that he needs to change some parts.
      I told UC to change the professional for my job since he was incompetent and big liar who told me every evening he is coming and at end telling me different story.
      Now UC told me they will resolve it with con call with the trainer & senior manager but that did not happen for the entire 4 days conversation with the customer support. Now they are saying will resolve it in morning then evening ...
      They doesn't seems serious and neither concerned about my plight and grievance that I am facing.
      TV is such an essential part of entertainment for a family and for last 10 days I am getting round answer.
      I am also loosing every day rent to my DTH operator without watching so I mentally harassed as well financially loosing.
      They are not taking any action against the professional against the misleading.
      They also damaged my TV back cover also.
      Plz help me with the resolution

        I have been Plus customer with them for sometime now and I was trying to book Water Purifier Repair ( they earlier did it ) with them for over 2 weeks. It was so frustrating that at time of checkout none of my payment methods were getting approved. There is no way to get in touch with customer chat support if there is no open booking. This company has head offices everywhere without centralized customer service number. Eventually my husband downloaded the application and through that open booking we checked with chat support and was shocked to informed that they blocked my account without notification. They did not inform me and there is no reason they can explain to block the account and were rigid that will not unblock it. He was advised to use different number for me to use the services. How bizarre, unprofessional and illogical. I tagged them on Twitter multiple times and di not even get a notification call from them so far. Is there a way to sue this company for this attitude. They wasted my time energy and its harassment.

          I had a booking to repair fridge. Issue 2as no cooling. This booking was made on 1st Sep 2022. Technician arrived and tampered compressor (which was under 10 year warranty by Haier). Issue did not get resolved. Same technician came again and total Amount I spent was close to 3200/-. Later the case was escalated to senior technician on 7th Sep 2022. During 2nd week of Oct 2022, issue started again.
          I submitted revisit request, but I received a call stating they cannot assign new technician on my current booking and I should cancel the booking and make new booking to get technician.
          During this time, i was said that the amount will be refunded and I specifically mentioned them it's not about refund but I want the issue to be resolved.
          The ticket was marked as complete, refund was initiated amounting to 3237/-. During this communication, I wasn't informed that this will hve me loose my warranty for the booking with Urban Company.
          I did new booking and the technician came and told me he is not asked to do any job and he left. The same booking was cancelled by Urban company and refunded money that I paid amounting to 205/-.
          I called technician from Haier and was informed that the compressor is tampered and warranty is void.
          Urban Company is liable to pay the damage and agony caused.
          They have been denying to look into the case referring they have refunded the amount and company is not liable now.

            Service was requested from UC for bathroom grouting work. The inexperienced professional damaged the tiles by chipping the edges of all tiles in the bathroom. Attached images can be referred.

            These details are shared with UC customer care team both on call and email but no resolution is provided and refused to compensate the loss.

            It was clearly mentioned in one of the attached images (screnshot from UC app) that insurance is covered for paying online after service. But, the team is hesitant to check the details.

            All formal communication is established with UC through email multiple times but no acknowledgement is received which shows their clear negligence towards customers problems.

              I had a confirmed booking for home cleaning on 20th oct 2022 at 2.30 pm and had taken a leave on this date. I had paid an extra for this timing though the charges were anyway high during festival season. I spoke to the cleaning personnel 20 mins before the schedule time. He said will be late by an hour. I was OK with this. However just 5-10 mins my booking was rescheduled without checking with me. This was completely unprofessional from the UC's and that partners end to whom i had spoken few mins back. Also i wasnt able to speak to anyone from UC support as there was no number and after so much of google search after an hour i was able to locate the help, entered my issue and received a call from customer support. Even he wasnt of any use. He told will check and will call after 5 mins. I recd a call from the support agent after an hour. She just apologized and refuned my initial amount paid. But what about my leave which i had taken. Entire day was wasted. Imagine what i had gone through. They were least bothered. This should have been compensated by any means by either UC or the partner who had ditched

                This is the second time I'm having problems with their bathroom cleaning services... The first time their agent came and poured water all over the plaster of paris and wood material and spoilt thousands of worth of property( for this they didn't resolve as their agent vanished) and this time the agents cleaned only floors washbasin toilet and demanded extra money(and again the agent vanished) and after all the walls dried out there were all stains over walls and mould formation... For this they gave me 550 rupees as a token of apology... Do they think people are dumasses.. what form of apology is that.. if you want to resolve it then do it by sending an agent and getting the problem checked and verified... What are u running a company or a magic show?

                    I had called for Geyser servicing at my place - B 1503, Aishwaryam, Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West - 201301.
                    The person from Urban came but the person was very rude. He dropped the geyser on the floor which broke my bucket, the tiles and the new bottle of shampoo along with few other things.

                    I am not sure what damages will happen inside geyser. He left after taking Rs 2500 ( after fighting with me)

                    Now the geyser is not getting switched off. When I called him he spoke to me very rudely and abused. He finally banged the phone and now he is not picking up the phone.

                    He has done some thing in booking request also as I am not able to see in urban site correct status of my booking. It is showing being postponed to later time.

                    He had initially called me from[protected].

                    I expect Urban management to look into this complaint immediately and get this rectified.

                          I had booked a premium full house cleaning service with Urban Company for Oct 22nd 5 days in advance by paying 1000 Rs for a slot which was showing as available. On Oct 22nd at the time slot booked by me (10 am), no professional was assigned and no communication was given to me. After requesting a call, I was informed that they haven’t been able to arrange the professional and was assured a professional is being arranged for Oct 23rd at 10 am. After hours of waiting and discussion with their team, one professional was assigned. This assigned professional called me and insisted to do the service 7 hour service in 3 hours today instead of booked time on Oct 23. When I requested him to do it tomorrow as today wasn’t possible for me, he said he can’t do it. After that again, I was assured by UC team that they are arranging next best professional, but a professional with very bad review was assigned to me. It has been a very extremely disappointing experience and a complete mental harassment to have booked UC service even after paying in advance. Various rounds of discussions with the last person in escalation matrix also resulted in only cancellation with refund as a solution for the entire harassment and at the end of it, I am left with no visibility of cleaning my house before Diwali. I had to plan it closer since earlier they didn’t have slots and didn’t opt for alternative as they had these slots available. A very unprofessional team with no respect for people’s time and concerns. I request the UC management to intervene to resolve the issue at the earliest.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have booked Home cleaning services with Urban Company on 18th October 2022 for slot on 20th October and for that I have made full payment of Rs.6972.00. But on 20th morning I have received a call saying they can not give me service as they don't have slot free till 24th of October which is Diwali day. I have told them if they can't give me service then please refund my money as soon as possible. But till date I have not received my money.

                              Please look into this matter.

                                My issues.
                                I tried my best to get help from urban company side but i didn't get any correct answer from urban company.
                                Urban company professional not work well.
                                My refrigerator not cooling after cleaning.
                                Everything perfect before cleaning.
                                Company see your records how many times i have contacted you. But company have not do anything.
                                So it's not my fault.
                                Urban company said that whatever is wrong in your fridge, his people will go and fix it.

                                I will Complaint this Forum against urban company.
                                I will very arriteted for this issue.
                                I will request you please action this type issues. this company very bad not solving issues they take only time for solution.

                                  I am tired of chasing urban company support team regarding the incident I’ve witnessed by one of the technician Sachin Tomar.
                                  After raising the issue with Urban company inspite of assigning one POC, everyday new customer executive is calling me and i am explaining them everything regarding issue from the start, i am tired now . It seems urban company is supporting this unprofessional technical even if i've submitted the proofs of his acceptance of fault.
                                  I’ve booked a tv repair service through urban company application for my Sony 4k smart tv (43inch) and a technician named Sachin Tomar was assigned for the same. He collected the television from my home and returned it to me after 2 weeks . When I asked him regarding the delay he said original board is not available but he can install universal board which I denied due to the quality issue so I’ve asked him to return the television and I’ve got the tv back after 2 days of this conversation ( though He kept the tv for 2 weeks). When the check the television the technical issue was worsened, the was in bad physical condition.
                                  There was cutting work done on back side of the panel ( the technician said he did it due to heat extraction which has no point), the screen has lot of scratches and some melted plastic material was spread on tv screen, lot of dust particles can be seen inside the screen, i was shocked to see condition of my TV. ( I’ve shared the photos with support team the same day, attached here as well). I can be clearly seen that tv was very badly handed by some unprofessional person.
                                  The very same day I’ve raised the concern with urban company and the issue was escalated.
                                  The conference call was arranged by escalation manager o[censored]rban company between me and the technician Sachin Tomar .
                                  Initially Sachin denied but soon accepted the mistake that negligence was done by his team and he said that he will compensate for the same and replace the screen.
                                  I told him that television is with Sony service center now and I’ll update you once I get it back.
                                  When I got the tv back from Sony I called Sachin for screen replacement surprisingly he put lot of conditions like if I can forgive him, or if I can take some money as a compensation but I told him that I want my tv in original condition it was before handed over to him. Then he put his third condition that he can change the screen by some old tv but it can take 30-60 days. I was very frustrated by this whole conversation( I am attaching the chat conversation screenshot).
                                  I was shocked from this unprofessional behavior by the urban company technician and I told him that I’ll speak to the company in this matter, he said I am free to escalate this at any level.
                                  From last one week I am trying to connect with urban company and explained the above issue several times to different agents. I am tired of this now and decided to put that in email.

                                  I am requesting Urban company to intervene in this matter and help this to sort out.
                                  I am reachable at below number between 11 am- 8 pm (in case if anything else is needed from my end).

                                  Hi Team Urban company,

                                  Can somebody reply to my complaint please ?? I've been chasing team UC for the last 1 month and there is no response to my email as well. Also I am getting calls from UC executives on a daily basis but they are not aware of the issue since they don't have access to emails. I am wasting my 30 minutes everyday explaining the issue from start and submitting proofs on the given link but next day some new executive calls with no clue of the issue raised. This is a repeat process from the last 1 month. It seems UC doesn't want to solve the issue  raised by their premium customers. 
                                  I am requesting Team UC to assign a dedicated POC for this case and help me to resolve this issue else I am left with no options apart from going legal.

                                    I'm writing today to complain of the poor experience I had with the Complete Kitchen Cleaning Service booked under the Bathroom and Kitchen cleaning option for 19 October 2022, 2 PM.

                                    The Professional that was assigned for the service came 1hr 15min late and brought an "unknown" person along with him to the site claiming he was there as a "helper". The details of this so-called helper was nowhere mentioned on the app.
                                    The professional assigned asked for "additional" money to clean the complete kitchen even though the "complete" kitchen service was booked. The details of these add-on charges were also nowhere mentioned in the details of the service included in the app.
                                    At last, the professional even connected me with a customer care representative who was very unprofessional and did not give proper answers to my questions and hence, was unable to resolve my query.
                                    As of now, I have cancelled the service and am waiting for a refund.

                                    I'm most disappointed by this particular experience with Urban Company which was not at all expected. I trust this matter will be escalated further and appropriate actions will be taken to prevent such issues in future.

                                      A professional from URBAN COMPANY visited my house on 11th September and took away my tv (with a half screen problem). The professional returned the appliance with incomplete job on 28th September after several reminders and asked me that upper lining of the screen will disappear within few days suggested that if there's any issue, call him directly. He charged me 7000/-. Next day, I noticed a lining in the middle of the screen and sent the picks of the tv to the professional. He see the but didn't respond therefore I raised a revisit request through app. He picked up the tv again on 29th September and returned the same after several reminders on 9th October with excuse that the roads of the colony is damaged therefore product couldn't be delivered on time. But he failed to turn the tv operational. He mounted the tv on the wall and informed that he was going to his hometown at Barely and would come back on 15th October and requested me not to raise any revisit request through app. He promised that as soon as he returns, he will take my tv again to the vendor from whom he tried to get the tv repaired. He will claim his refund from the vendor and also return my 7k. But, he didn't turn up till 16th October and called me on Monday when i was in my office. He requested me to allow the staff sent by him to pick up the tv. His staff took away the tv in the previous condition and after approximately half an hour, the professional along with his staff visited my house with with tv and informed me that the screen of the tv is damaged. He asked me on phone that outer body of the tv isn't broken therefore, he will not take the responsibility of breaking screen by his staff and bargain me not to raise issue through app otherwise, he would refuse for any damage caused on his part. He advised me to keep quite for some day and he will sell spare parts of my tv at good price and if there is any difference of amount, he will refund itself.

                                      I tried to raise the issue yesterday night through app but due to network issue, i couldn't raise the issue properly. However, a complain was registered on your system. A confirmation call received from URBAN Company with a promise to resolve the issue within 24 hours. On 18 October a conference call was arranged by the company with the professional and the professional refused to accept his fault. He refused that his staff who picked up the tv from my home on 17th October, could damage the screen and didn't say anything on why he kept the customer on hold since 11th September to 17 October. The call disconnected itself.

                                      The professional called me by his personal Whatsapp number +[protected]. I have all his call recordings and Whatsapp chats of his number and i can provide the same .

                                      I requested for justifiable solution, refund of amount paid by me and for compensation according the company policy through HELP option in app many times. But, the intention of customer care portal was not fair. It considered the sole statement of the technician as final resolution and not wished to pay any attention to evidences such as call recordings and WhatsApp chats I wished to produce.

                                        This is Advocate Sneha Pathak on behalf of Mr. Avanish Jha.

                                        We are one of the premium members o[censored]rban Company and have been using the services for quite some time now. In the recent past we had terrible experience not only with the quality of service but also with the Customer support team.

                                        Incident 1:

                                        1. We booked Washing Machine repair services on 8th October 2022 since the machine was not washing properly and was not taking water from the outlet. The technician visited, diagnosed and informed us that the pressure sensor along with pipe has to be changed and DC inlet valve needs to be changed. Believing and trusting the technician we gave our consent and he repaired the machine with total cost of Rs 2541.

                                        2. On 11th October 2022, we again started facing issues with the washing machine where this time the machine would not switch on at all. we called the Customer care team again and they sent the same technician whose name is Bhbhutram. This time after diagnosing the issue the technician told us that there is problem with the Motor and the same needs to be repaired. We were stunned to know that the issue instead of getting resolved had got even more worst. We asked the technician and the customer care team to assure us that after this second repair machine will work fine and they assured us the same confidently.

                                        3. on 12th October again the machine was not functioning properly and we felt cheated. we were completely drained by this whole service experience o[censored]rban Company. We again raised the issue to Customer care team and they again sent the same technician despite our request for a different technician. The technician again diagnosed the machine and this time said that the electric/power board is not working and needs to be changed. We were shocked to see how one by one each and every part of the machine was damaged by the technician and had to get replaced. the technician replaced the board and assured us that now the machine will work fine for years as ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED.

                                        4. On 18th October 2022, we tried to use the machine again and faced the same issue all over again. It is needless to say that its a complete service failure from Urban Company as they keep sending the same technician who is not competent enough. Moreover the Customer care team is so insensitive about everything that they don't even address the issue with proper attention.

                                        Relief Sought:

                                        Due to the unprofessional behavior of the technician as well as the customer care team we have suffered with mental and financial loss in past 10 days. Continuous issue with the machine caused us extra cost on laundry as well as cost on time we spent leaving our job and waiting for the technician.

                                        We demand-
                                        *Refund of the entire amount spent on the repairs i.e Rs 2541/-
                                        *Cost of the Machine Rs 25, 000/- or replacement with a new machine
                                        *Compensation of Rs 25, 000/- for the mental and financial loss caused.

                                        Incident 2:

                                        1. We booked for home cleaning services on 17th October 2022. Urban Company sent only one cleaning partner to the house who was not even sure of the job. He started telling us that i cant start the job as whatever i will do you will not be satisfied. We were shocked to see how the professional himself was not sure of his work. He asked us to cancel the job and reschedule it. He made a call to his manager Mr. Amol who spoke to me and said that the cleaning professional wants assurance that after his service we will not rate him bad.

                                        2. We were utterly disturbed by this behavior of both the professional as well as the manager who even before starting the job were so unsure about their own work. The professional left the house without doing the work and moreover left the area even more dirtier.

                                        3.We called the Customer care team wherein we spoke to the Escalation Manager, cleaning department Mr. Nakul Saxena who was completely unprofessional and had zero courtesy towards the Customer grievance. He kept stating that the only thing he could help us with was refund of the amount. He had no explanation towards the behavior of the professional who visited nor did he have any resolution for the time wasted in midst of Diwali preparations. He kept closing the issue on the portal deliberately despite we showing dissatisfaction. We noticed that the moment we were opening issue on the chats with Customer care team they kept closing without even talking to us. This behavior was completely unexpected and rude. Nakul Saxena made sure that our issue is not addressed properly and also behaved unprofessionally on call.

                                        Relief Sought:
                                        *Enquiry and action against the professional as well as Mr. Nakul Saxena and details of such action taken.
                                        *immediate refund of Rs 1359/- along with compensation of Rs 10, 000/- for the loss of time, mental and physical agony caused due to such behavior of the professional as well as the Customer care team.

                                        We demand resolution of both the incidents along with our relief sought given to us within next 3 days post which we will file Consumer Complaint and seek relie[censored]nder Consumer Protection act in the Court of la.
