On friday - 28th june 2019 - i had booked urban clap for beauty service.

As per my package to get hands waxed i had opened apple watch and kept on table in the room where service was done. After service i paid beautician and when i went back to table i found the watch was missing. I have called to enquire from seema but she refused to admit this so i contact urban clap help support but they are useless all they did was fooling me all these while saying we are looking into this.

After one month of complain they are calling me and telling we called beautician and checked her bag but could not find anything is this not ridiculous to take this action after one month.

They are even supporting her to give more service and all that employee seema is getting courage to steal more and more.

They blocked my number from app so i cannot comment on their service but when i open app i see other customers have also faced similar experience (I have uploaded their comments).

I feel so helpless and cheated for calling them home to give service

    urban clap cancelled service 30 minutes before

    I had booking at 8:30 am but i got a message at 7;30 apologizing for their delay in assigning staff. And when i check back my account, i couldn't find the booking i did, it got cancelled. Ppl will be having commitments. What if they cancel like this. If they don't have enough staff for the selected slot they shouldn't allow to book the slot. Though it's salon services, it's important to those people please value their time...

    Worst experience of my life! I have been shifting homes intra and inter city, however the mental torture that is caused by progressive packers movers is just of next level. These are extremely unprofessional and unethical bunch of people.
    I trusted #urbanclap and appointed progressive. It was a big disappointment!

    Below are the details:
    Date: 6 oct 2019
    Shifting from mumbai to bangalore
    1. Separate container: we paid for separate container (Almost 20% premium), however when the luggage arrived, there were 50+ boxes from other party. Our furniture was unloaded and loaded again in transit for making this adjustment. This must have caused damage to the goods!
    This is unethical and unprofessional

    2. Delay in delivery - loading happened on 28th aug 2019; the delivery was planned for 2nd oct 2019 (A holiday); however, the goods were delivered on 4th oct. My entire family 5 people (Includes 81 year old father-in-law) stayed in hotel for 3 days.
    Reason for delay according to this company is delay in payment. I made 80% payment on 30th oct 2019. They never mentioned that truck dosent leave mumbai if payment is not made. They waited for me to ask the status and then gave this stupid reason.
    Unprofessional and unethical again!

    3. Delay in pickup:
    They delayed the pickup of the furniture to be sent to pune 3 times. Not once they proactively informed us so.
    Even the pickup of other goods to be sent to bangalore was delayed by 3 hrs

    4. Poor planning and packing skills
    The packing material they carried was insufficient, many of the furniture and other items were just loaded in the truck without any protection. This after visiting the home 2 times for planning the movement!

    5. Multiple people asking for the payment:
    - everyone you interact asks for payment.
    - the truck driver that came for unloading didn't unload for 2 hours; he asked for the payment! If its between me and progressive, why i have to deal with the driver. Multiple phone calls needed to resolve this.
    - again the car-delivery guy asked for payment.
    - then someone unknown from progressive calls and says your 20% payment is pending. All this even before i see my luggage!

    6. Damages to furniture and crockery
    There wasnt a single furniture item that was withount damage.
    Damage was not just aesthetic, it was structural as well.
    Regardless of accepting this fact, there were persistent calls for payment.

    7. Unresponsive and irresponsible managers
    - if you start giving them details of issues you have, they hang-up
    - if you ask for the proof when they mentioned that truck dosent move out of mumbai if 80% advance payment is not done, they say you are threatening me and they hang-up
    - if you sent whatapp for the proof, they never respond
    - not once they proactively call and give you any status. If you deal with them, you will have to run behind them.

    To sum it up, my family has to go through a lot of trouble in past few days. There is no monetary compensation that can mitigate that!

      I would never recommend urbanclap to anyone. Used their services for the very first time with my logged in mobile number. The beauty services which they promised was bot apt. Keeping that issue aside, my payment got cancelled twice and was successful the third time. Both the unsuccessful payments went thru urbanclap but the appointment did not happen. The incident happened on 3rd pf September and till date Urbanclap has not refunded my money back. Wrote to them on their help email only to get the ticket closed after a few days citing i have not replied back whereas in reality i have sent prompt replies. Its been nearly a month and no refund yet. Instead urbanclap has been asking me to share my bank statement in pdf format that too till today. I do not understand why I need to give you all these details. Urbanclap you share me the details if you have initiated a refund and also interest along with it for wasting my time and effort. This is a very stupid scam. Till today my complaint has not been resolved and none reached out to me.

        I have booked an appointment on 10th september 2019 for an electrician on urbanclap. While booking, the platform asked me to pay 150 rs. When i tried to book after the payment, it said "booking not successful", but my money got deducted. The refund policy says 5-7 days but it's been 11 days. The money has not been redunded yet.

          I have booked some job through urban clap. But their electrician has made fraud with me, done half job, and charged more from me. He assured me that he will do the full job, but he does not. I have all the proofs. I am sending you all the proofs, with payment also. Please take some action againsts those online frauds, else they will continue to make like these. These companies are cheating people and dont provide any service.

          My electrician told me that he will pay me the extra amount.
          I got my two a. c serviced by technician o[censored]rban clap but unfortunatly one a. C is not giving cooling at all. It has been bring to the notice of the urban clap but till date it has not been resilved
          I got my two a. c serviced on 10aug20 by urban clap technician but unfortunately my one a. c is not giving cooling at from the moment it was serviced. It has been brought to the notice o[censored]rban clap assurances given but till date it has not been resolved. It reflects bad image o[censored]rban clap. Why the customer should be harrased when there is a fault of the technician involved?

          The technician dropped my tv during installation. The accepted that it is his mustake. This happened on 21 Jan 2022. Its been more than three months but still the issue is not resolved.

            I had booked kitchen deep cleaning services with uc in advance. The cleaner was assigned to me 3days before. Have removed all stuff from kitchen and was waiting for cleaner tried calling but no response and after time lapsed he picked up and denied services. Rescheduled for evening slot but still they denied services.
            It's pathetic and very troublesome as whole kitchen i have emptied, without giving any prior intimation they deny the services. They are cheater and harassing people by making them fool.
            Uc needs to shut their services if they can't serve or keep promises.
            Technician changed the filter and left later the auto stop switch stopped working and creating a mess it is a part of the job. the tech is supposed to check the auto fill tank option i am calling for follow up no response.

            and also some mud is leaking within the filter terrible service.

              I booked for chimney service from urban clap on 11th. Sep'19. I had been charger 1199 rupees for deep cleaning, it includes reinstallation and thorough cleaning etc. But the person came and provided basic service which can be available at less than 500 rupees locally. He did not carry cloth for cleaning purpose, took from me, left my kitchen oily. Some of the portion of the chimney also not cleaned properly, was sticky.

              I tried to contact several times the uc customer service but no option was there. I want a refund in uc wallet to be used in other service to compensate this harassment. They don't bother about customer concern.

                ac cooling problem

                I had request urban clap to fix ac cooling problem for my ac. Urban clap guy suggested for gas refilling which i agreed and paid 2500 rs. After 2 hrs i realized that water leakage has been started from ac again i made a complain and same technician visited but he could not resolve. Next day another technician visited ann tried to resolve problem. Later i realized that water leakage problem has not been resolved. Top of that ac cooling problem...

                I have booked interior design in june 2019. Sagar sent his partner ramesh to complete our project. He took 291000 from us and got escaped. Now sagar is telling that he is not his partner and i can't bear the loss. And more over he is asking extra money 50k to complete the pending work than the agreed amount with ramesh. Urbanclap team is also not helping us but sent sagars i'd proofs to take any action from our side.

                  I had my high end samsung laptop worth rs 75000 given to ifix gadgets at urbanclap for its keyboard repair & replacement as a few of its keys (4) had stopped working. The professional from i-fix gadgets from urbanclap visited my place & said that the entire keyboard needs replacement which would cost me rs 3500. I agreed & my laptop was given for repair. The job was done & my laptop returned. The keyboard malfunctioned again in a month's time & was again given for replacement under warranty. Ifix then damaged my laptop, broke it's expensive led screen & returned it to us in broken & non working condition. My laptop is worth rs. 0 now & worthless. Urbanclap & ifix have ruined my expensive laptop & have offered no worthy compensation. Never trust urbanclap & ifix gadgets with expensive gadgets.

                      refrigerator repair

                      Your mechanic visited in april, 2019 to repair double door whirlpool fridge and change the compressor and gas and charged around inr 6500 (Invoice number 13758). The compressor is having one year warranty as per provided bill. It worked fine till 20th aug and facing issues from past 15 days where in deep freezer its cooling but not on lower part. We called the same mechanic who worked earlier and now he is saying that another part is damaged...

                      I had ordered a salon service and my beautician ritu dubey was suppose to arrive my place at 7.30pm. I called her repeatedly on the landline number that was sent to me on what's app. Due to disturbance in their line we couldn't hear each other. I had shared my live location from google map to help her.
                      My house is located in prime area on highway at signal where anyone even new in area could locate easily.
                      Reason give for cancellation of service is, she couldn't find my house.
                      Because of my urban clap appointment i did not opt for any other beauty service and now day before ganpati at around 8pm in evening she is cancelling the appointment and i have to celebrate the festival without doing my beauty regime.
                      Strict action should be taken against the beautician and the urban clap.

                        I have hired painters from URBANCLAP in the month of November 2018 to paint our house. I have paid them full amount. But afterwards when we have shifted in December 2018, We found that the kitchen cupboards were untouched, those painters did not paint that area. I tried to contact them telephonically many times but every time I have been told that they were out of Delhi. When they would arrive in Delhi then they definitely come at our home to complete the work and even for touch up also. which they assured before starting the painting that they will touch up later if we need for. Now after 7 to 8 months that person by the name Sakib says that he has already left Urbanclap and we need to give a complaint to Urbanclap for the completion of our leftover work. Along with this the distemper on the roof of one bedroom has already ruined. Now you tell me Is this the professionalism and commitment of your company towards the customers. And inform me how and who will complete that work . Because its very small area and will hardly take half a day so no other painter comes to do this small work. I just want you to send somebody to finish that work and to check the roof also or else neither me nor any of my known to will take your services. This way you may loose your customers. I do not want any refund but just my work to be completed as soon as possible.

                          I took urbanclap's dry cleaning service to get my expensive winter clothes dry cleaned. I also gave specific instructions to the professional at the time of handing the clothes to him. To ky surprise when the clothes were delivered to me i found the expensive sweater totally shrinked and it's fabric damaged, button of the cost broken and put in on of the pockets, the over coat had stains on it. I was very disappointed rather traumatised to see the condition. I complained and asked for compensation since they have posted on their app that there is a customer protection of rs 10, 000 in case of any damage. Initially they didn't accept it but later they said they can pay 5000 only since i don't have the bill to prove the cost of the clothes damaged. I told them who would keep the bill for an year old item but they didnt accept and kept telling me only 5000 will be paid. I have suffered a loss of at least rs 40, 000. The sweater itself was of rs 30, 000 alone. I have also attached the pictures for your reference. These people even went to the level of lying that the customer protection is 5000 and not 10, 000. What i am seeing on the app is a technical bug as told by one of the person i spoke to. They are bug cheaters and have mentally given me lots of stress in last few days.

                            Ac repair carried in may 19. Part replaced ac fan motor. Once again in aug 19 the same problem occurred & with zero support from uc i had to pay for the services & the faulty motor again. Spoke to supervisor, & sent emails to the customer support staff too with no positive response... Effectively urban clap is making money not making sure the professional staff who come repair can practically install any goods with no control on quality. The staff failed to understand that a customer is paying for the product twice in just 3 months... This is appalling & i still wait for a solution.

                              My sony bravia led tv had display issue. I hired a technician through urban clap. Technician took my t. V for repair and returned back in two days as per his assurance. However, when he left from my home i noticed the t. V display wasn't fitted properly from left side post that i called the technician to come and check but, he never turned back stating unnecessary excuses.

                              Wow..my problem has been marked as Resolved and even I am not aware.. what a cheat... Two days back again a rep called have explained entire scenario (this was 5th time) i was explaining & then again same promise will call in the evening..since then nothing has been happened & no body contacted.. and guess what after reading this somebody will again contact and will again have to explain it.. seems like you people doesnt even log the complaint.. this is big Cheat and this is going to be escalated now to hire level in Urban Clap
                              I will give zero rating to urban clap. The t.v technician broke the side locks of screen while fixing the television. Pathetic

                                I was assigned this person who came and repaired the ac (Changes the condenser of mu voltas split ac), charged around 6000 inr. Cooling was still not there after about a month use. After asking for the re-service same person comes and gives his personal number and asks me to contact at this number if cooling is not there after 48 hours.
                                He did not pick phone even after multiple attempts and when called from alternate number he tells that now ac is out of service warranty window.
                                When i asked him to complaint against him with urban clap, he mentioned there is no procedure in urban clap for such complaints and all service department is aligned with him and disconnected the phone.
                                With no options left i have to get the ac repaired with voltas.
                                Actually there is no procedure in urbanclap for complaints not sure how this company operates.

                                  My name is Hina Dhamani and I opted for women beauty package including rica waxing for hands and underarms from urbanclap on 04.08.2019.
                                  The beautician used rica wax on my underarms and peeling off my skin completely along with the waxing strip resulting into torn skin, bleeding, painful arm which i am not even able to lift up now. Rica wax is meant to be used on arms only and is a prohibited product for underarms, still it was used by the beautician. Please take strict action against it.

                                  My washing machine stopped working so I called Urbanclap to rectify it on 9th August the mechanic said that the outer case is rusted and needs replacement I paid advance of rupees 2000 and till today the mechanic has not come I contacted Urbanclap help line and complained several times but the job is still not done

                                  On repeated calls o helpline of Urbanclap the problem is not solved and I have lost rupees 2000which I gave to the mechanic on 9th August when he first visited me and promised to get my washing machine fixed in a couple of days I am at a loss as there is no help from Urbanclap
