Urbanclap cleaning professional has damaged my sofa and now they are not getting it repaired or giving any compensation for the same.
I have called them several times to get it repaired but they are saying we are unable to do so.
I have been in conversation with them many times and every time there is a new person who is asking for the whole saga again.
Now, they are not giving me any option to even call them. Top of this they have closed my complaint without resolving it.

    I am most disappointed and irritated by the service provided by urbanclap. I booked for an ac cleaning/repair today morning. The technician came in and was working on the ac. Suddenly there was a spark and the external unit caught on fire. The technician was not able to explain why this happened. He had no knowledge on the ac at all. The external unit is completely damaged and it will cost a hell a lot to repair it by professional. When i reached out to customer service they did not help me at all. When i asked for insurance they said the technician was not "done with repair" but was "performing diagnostics" when the external unit caught on fire. This cannot be the case. The damage that has happened cannot be let go because of a technical term loophole. The damage happened when your professional was working on my ac. I am asking this for a simple part issue or anything. Your professional's work caused a fire and completely damaged the external unit.

    I need a proper step to follow through to get the insurance for the damage caused and i want the procedure asap.

      I have scheduled the appointment at 3rd-7am by paying the amount online. No beautician assigned and it is 8am. Requested call back morethan 5 times no one called. First time using the app and it willl be last time. No contact number to call and no one is addressing this. Nothing until now. I want to take this matter very seriously. I need to get refund for the money. I dont believe the website doesnot have a customer care number.
      A friend of mine told it as good and my bad to trust. I paid 1847rs. I want refund now else i will take this matter to social media. Worst service ever. Even googled to get contact number, called the number and it cancelled. No one called

        I have ordered for a haircut service scheduled for Mar 1, 2020 8:30pm IST. The service has not been fulfilled, professional is not assigned till Mar 1, 2020 9:25pm IST. Customer care is not reachable and there is no response from UrbanClap on automated callback request option provided in the designated mobile App. I want full refund and a complimentary service as a compensation to breach of promised service. This kind o[censored]nprofessional attitude was not expected from Urbanclap. My registered number with the company is [protected].

          Inspite of 14leads no new suggestions. Complaints not answered.. No response from urban clap team. Refunds not given areas allotment not proper trial sessions as promised not paid. Showed zero amount even though there were bought leads.. Stopped sending leads. Kindly take some actions at the earliest.. Many must be facing this issue. Hope some actions will be taken.

            My 9 seated sofa and 2 bathroom cleaning were rescheduled sometimes due to my mother in critical condition in fortis due to kidney failure and also since was din was engaged on 30th and there were lots of activities in both matters. On 13th i wanted the work to be done since there is a function in my house tomorrow with big gathering but gautam seal was always fussy and made me reschedule which is not the correct policy. Now mohsin called up to say that only sofa can be cleaned not bathrooms and this is not fair at all-9 seared sofas are costing only rs.1149 on spp then why should i pay more and why my bathrooms won’t be cleaned-bad impression on me o[censored]rban clap gautam seal fir non fulfilment of services-it seems the professionals will decide when and by whom i should get the work done. Please fulfil my project at the earliest - i don’t want to follow up more. Pkease assign a professional if 5* rating not like the 2 you have been assigning till now having 4.6-4.7 rating. How can you refuse services if there were serious hardships and due to your professionals incapacity to provide services when i wanted them?
            Now they are not even allowing me to reschedule and the future dates provided are only 2 and rescheduling us failing every time-this is a cheating policy by the company. When their professionals deny rendering of services at the required time the company doesn’t feel it their duty to look into such matters even though e mail was written 2 days back on 13-2-20

            I want the govt.to stop such malpractices-contingencies do arise and should be taken care of-if the profession makes excuses we can’t help and it is the company who should take care of the nuisances of the professionals.The company is not assigning professionals with a good rating any time and saying that full fulfilment can’t be done as per order which not a proper pretext.I had booked the cleaning services under the Republic Day sale for Rs.1399(9 seated sofa+ 2 bathrooms free)and due to contingencies from both sides the execution of order could not be done but then the company can’t deny good services as promised.They need to assign a 5* rating professional to me instead of professionals who are not reviewed well by the customers.I had repeatedly made thus clear on phone calls as well as e nails and Akash has promised me on phone that I would be assigned a professional of rating more than 4.7(these rating professionals were assigned whenever I rescheduled)but 4.6 rating person was assigned for 13-2-19 and my request fir a 5* rated person for my first order was not adhered to.9 seated sofas are showing as Rs.1149 but I have been chargedRs.1399 for the same which means that for 2 bathrooms cleaning additional Rs.250 was charged and they were not free.This is a wrong policy of the company and charges are hidden in free offers as well.Woukd like the company to listen to my request and provide full and good services as heard from many customers

            The service was cancelled permanently by providing 200 UC credits for future use but God knows whether I would be happy then too if iBook another service

              It was awful experience with urban clap.. They charged me 600 +500=1100 for service of geyser... Thats on a very very high side.. They are just fooling people by charging damn high amounts for their services under various categories... Its better and far reasonable to higher local technician than getting in touch with them... Their customer care is also non supportive.. They don't mention properly in their app about charges, nor do their technician tell properly about charges. If you get geyser serviced... They will take service charge 600, labor 500 and extra for parts change... No clarity of charges. Big no no to urban clap...
              Based on the good review on Urbanclap app I misjudged and booked a general service for my hob and they send a labour in the name of technician and he just wiped the top surface of the Hop and asked for the money and I am surprised how this big huge company is cheating so please beware of this Urban clap Chennai.

                On sanday 2 feb 2020 i booked a service for my samsung washing machine but the person who came to my house took spare part from the washing machine and sad that he will replace it but now its been 4 days and still he has not returned or replaced it. Now he is not answering my calls and completely avoiding me this is not a professional behavior. If you can not proved me the service, please return the spare part. I will get it done by someone else.

                      With my first experience o[censored]rban clap was amazing, lady was very well organised all kitchen cupboard, but then every new ezperiencwe was disappointment especially the fourth one. I booked for 4 hours to one bedroom apartment but i am fully disappointed now. We were not at home and i guess lady sat and watch tv. Because my microwave is still very dirty, my stool, balcony, windows. And although i put notes she did not follow them. My laundry is still inside washing machine even though i put notes to hang them. I put special cleaning clothes to kitchen and bathroom separately, burit all together inside vileda cup. Every time i have to give the instructions from the beginning even if working with same company which is meaningless. Additionally i am sharing my husband’s notes below; washing machine and dishwasher was even touched and emptied out, cooker is not even cleaned, microwave inside and outside is mess, 4 hours and vacuuming, swiping floors and cleaning the bathroom? We have all of their pictures as well to indicate.

                        A painting estimation has been provided by mr. Mangesh from uc for my 1bhk and an invoice generated for the amount rs. 6849 +taxes. However this invoice seems to be incorrect as mangesh claims the amount of 6849 inr includes tax. When i highlighted the discount to mangesh he told me a company like uc with such huge turnover cant change an app for a 6000 odd contract for a single client whilst i had requested him to provide me a corrected invoice.
                        I take this as a huge personal insult since uc has provided its employees the audacity to dare and insult customers basis the contracts and business they provide to uc. I would like to get this case resolved as a personal insult from uc
                        Action pointers from urban clap - written apology from urban clap on behalf of mangesh for the personal insult to the customer and not resolving the customer grievance
                        Ascertain that the invoice generated mentions inclusive of tax and not plus tax in the final quote provided

                          My ac servicing was done by urban clap technician.. He filled d gas n took 3300 from me.. But within a week my refrigerator stopped working again.. Finally it was repaired by godrej itself which cost 5700. Moreover i came to know that urbanclap's professional had damaged various parts of my refrigerator while repairing and i was assured by them that i ll get back 3000 as refund after submitting documents from godrej but later they denied to refund... Please help n take necessary action against urban clap for cheating customers

                            On 21st jan i requested for sofa cleaning service booked on 25th jan 2020and paid an advance payment for that as well, after 3-4 days they send the contact details of professional. Yesterday called up several times but didnt pick up also called customer care but no one responded call. Today morning the professional arrived and refused to clean the leather sofa as he was not trained for it, although mentioned in the app it includes leather sofaa cleaning. We called his senior ms meenal, executive operator was not ready to talk but on force she talked very unprofessionally also called up 2 other people but didn’t recieve any call back from them. To escape the matter the professional gave the refund of advance payment. But this behaviour is unacceptable. Making fool and this behaviour is extremely unprofessional that customer care is not ready to contact with the customer. Won’t recommend any to use this app. First train your employees how to behave and train your workers or else shut this app. Mentioning the service in app and refusing after arrival.

                              I had taken service from urban clap for installation of ac unit in bengaluru. While i paid through online but urbanclap said same not received and hence requested if same is paid by cash to their service person and later urban clap will refund the first made payment online in 3-4 days.
                              Believing urban clap and it’s brand i agreed their request but having sent lot of follow up emails and couple of calls with urban clap and their assurance, refund is still long pending.
                              I have shared all necessary documents and information to urban clap as per their request but still urban clap is not refunding.

                                I used urbanclap for booking my oven complaint on december 4th. They took my onida microwave oven board for repair and they told me it would take two days to repair.

                                After 4 days, i called technician and it was still not repaired and he wanted to try and asked for 2 more days.

                                It's been more than 20 days now, there is no response from him. That number ([protected]) to which i called is now not working.

                                I tried emailing their help desk but they mailed me saying - we are temporarily resolving the ticket – 2628107. This i got when i provided all information to them, not sure if it was autoresponder.

                                Please look into this matter. I want my microwave repaired or let him come back and return the oven board immediately.

                                  This company provides all sort of fake promises to the customers. Tv and youtube advertisements are just to attract the customers. They always send a msg rs.10000 insurance will be added to the service but it is not true. No insurance incase of any theft or any items missing from your home while availing their service. These people hire executive without even checking the workers criminal background. They say they have experiencd people workin on differnt services but it's not true. They just provide training to anyone and claim they are an expert.

                                  I lost a valuable electronic product while a cleaning service from them. The cleaning guy looted it and claimed innocent. Urban clap just said am sorry. No insurance, nothing.
                                  Horrible service. They took our TV twenty days back. Now haven't returned it and not attending phone calls for delivering the same. Consumer case will definitely be filed against them.

                                    I book a washing machine service two days back for today at 10:00 a. M. To unlock today's date recharge mi 49 rupees for the confirmation and also send me a confirmation message for the booking confirmed and assign technician. Today morning at 10:00 a. M. I receive a call from them saying that they do not have the technician and they will not be in the position to serve me. I told them what is the point of a customer paying a booking advance it's just to be make sure that the the services will be done. The representative call me back from urbanclap and without my consent hi cancel my request and initiated the 49 rupees refund in my account. I have recorded the line while speaking the representative and in which i am very clear that i am not giving the consent to cancel my booking the representative on the other side said that i can take an action against him. This is not the first time urbanclap has done this in fact it is a third time the same story. This kind of service is not acceptable to me or to. Any consumer.                                       Urban clap service guy "asad khan" fixed our refrigerator in july, 2019 and charged 2749/- and after 3 months, the refrigerator had broken again and is making loud noise all the time. When i spoke to them some case manager "priyanka singh" said they cannot do anything as it is out of warranty now. I paid almost 3k for like 3 months. Would like to raise this issue against urban clap and its services.
                                      I logged a complaint in urbanclap regarding refrigerator repair. One technician Mr. ASHOK attended and replaced the part and told me that it takes time for cooling. Next day I called and informed that 50% of cooling problem is solved but water leakage has increased. He told he will come and see but even after calling yen number of times he is not picking the phone.
                                      Waste of money and time in urbanclap. At least if we call from some repair shop we can go and fight but hear no chance.

                                        Hi, i'm very upset and angry with service. Our need to fill the gas in the ac however the technician initially cleaned and did fill up the gas. Once he left, when we turned on the ac. Water coming out from the front window. Which we never had. And he also taken the screw and clamp at the side of the ac. I trusted mostly and every month i'm taking various service from the urban clap application. I suggested to my aunt about the urban clap and then she availed ac service. Which was very frustrated. Kindly take action. I'm also attaching the photos of the ac.
                                        I had booked for Refrigerator repair and deep clean bathroom cleaning ..both services were disappointing since the bathroom cleaning guy broke the toilet seat and went away and the refrigerator started creating problems again after 2 days of getting it repaired with a heavy cost.

                                        Highly irresponsible and utterly disappointing service i must say and never recommend Urban clap to anyone that i know for sure.

                                        Hoping and waiting that my complaint is efficiently dealt with.
