Dear Zomato Customer Support,

I am writing to raise a concern regarding my recent order placed under the name Yash on 6th April 2025 at around 8:30 PM (Order ID: #[protected]).

The order included Malai Chaap and a few other items. Unfortunately, when the delivery arrived, I found that more than half of the Malai Chaap had leaked inside the bag. As a result, the rest of the food also got spoiled and became inedible.

I have attached both images and a video as proof showing the condition of the food upon delivery.

I also tried reaching out through the Zomato in-app customer care chat, but the support did not provide a resolution and failed to address the issue properly.

I kindly request you to look into this matter and issue an appropriate resolution, such as a refund or compensation for the damaged items.

      I booked two movie tickets via District app by Zomato at ₹180 per ticket, totaling ₹360. Including platform charges, I paid ₹402. At the time of booking, I applied a ₹100 coupon, reducing the final amount I paid to ₹302.

      Later, the theater reduced ticket prices to ₹130 per ticket. Since I was charged a higher price initially, I decided to cancel my booking and rebook at the new rate. However, upon cancellation, District app wrongly calculating my refund on ₹302 instead of ₹402 and is offering me only ₹155, which is completely unfair and incorrect.

      The deductions include:

      1. Handling charges – These were not transparently disclosed at the time of booking.

      2. Coupon deduction – This is completely unjustified. Since the original booking was for ₹402, the refund should be calculated based on that amount, not after subtracting the coupon. If I had not used the coupon, I would have received a higher refund, which is clearly deceptive.

      When I contacted customer service, they refused to refund the correct amount, providing vague justifications that were never clearly stated during booking. This is misleading and an unfair trade practice.

      Relief Sought:

      I demand a full refund of ₹402, as the cancellation was not due to my fault but due to a pricing change initiated by the theater. If a theater can lower prices after bookings, customers should have the right to cancel without unfair penalties. The refund should be calculated on ₹402, not ₹302, since that was the original amount charged before applying a discount.

      I request the Consumer Forum to take strict action against this deceptive refund practice and ensure that customers are not penalized for price changes initiated by theaters.

          - Roti was not cooked proper
          - half of the box was empty not filled fully
          - After eating this food I am facing health issue 😡 because food is contaminted with desies

            Hi Team,

            This is related to the order delivered on 13th March - 2 boxes of 500gram gujiya through Zomato. Instead i got 1kg box of the item which was of no use to me. I communicated back to Zomato who responded me on 16th March after repeated Reminders. They then arranged a conference call with Bikanervala Rajouri Garden, Branch Representative - Ganesh Choudhary who lied that he sent replacement that day. Then the Zomato representative asked me to drop. I hoped that we would resolve the issue but instead i got an email trusting the Bikanervala representative that he had sent the replacement. Clearly, he is lying, i had never received any call after that or any person came to my home for this issue.( Have CCTV footage as well). I have no interest in spending my day for this small issue but this is distrust of customer who is spending amount and other amount on the order according to his needs and it should be responsibility of Zomato and Bikanervala to close this as the mistake has been done rather to cover this by using lie and other false things just to save their face.

            I hereby request full refund and penalty amount for the harassment about the issue.

              Dear Zomato Support Team,

              I am writing to formally appeal the termination of my Zomato delivery ID [FE5086768]. I was informed that my account was deactivated due to poor performance and frequent fraudulent cancellations. However, I want to clarify that the actual reason for my inactivity was an unfortunate accident, which temporarily prevented me from delivering orders.

              I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, but I had no intention of violating Zomato’s policies. Since my recovery, I am now fully prepared to resume work and continue delivering with dedication. I kindly request you to reconsider my case and reinstate my account. If any further clarification or documentation is needed, I am happy to provide it.

              This termination has significantly impacted my source of income, and I kindly request you to review my case and reinstate my account if possible. Please let me know if any further action is required from my end. I would be grateful for a prompt response.

                I had ordered food from a restaurant through Zomato, and it tasted absolutely horrible and made me sick. We tried to contact the food joint first, but they didn't call back after they said they would discuss it, and they wouldn't pick up further calls.
                We tried to contact Zomato customer service finally, but their bot would leave useless apologies and promises and not even connect you to a customer service associate, even after you take so much of your time to upload images and videos and descriptions of the problematic product. There is absolutely no customer service to help you, emails are never responded to, and it is safer not to order from this app. 300 Rs. were wasted on such inedible food, due to bad customer service. Other food delivery apps have better customer service and response mechanisms.

                  Free delivery promised on Zomato gold but it is not free,

                  I tried ordering through zomato in Erode amman mess restaturant chennai,
                  upon ordering i got prompt to subscribe Zomato gold, which i did to avail free delivery which it did not and there is no option for me to get a refund of the zmount which i paid

                  I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent charges applied to my deliveries, even though I have subscribed to Zomato Gold, which explicitly promises "unlimited free delivery."

                  I have been using the Zomato Gold membership with the understanding that this would cover delivery charges, as advertised. However, I was recently charged for delivery despite my membership, which I believe goes against the terms of the service.

                  Could you kindly clarify why these charges were applied and whether this is an error? I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and rectify the issue.

                      Food ordered was heavy spicy and lot of chilly made my heart burn and I already mentioned in my ordered instructions that no chilly & less spice and still the made it so spicy and top of it so many forceful taxes and donations & I had to edit the bill section as I'm paying for the food and not getting it free of cost from any food banks.
