I have been using act services in chennai west mambalam area from the beginning of your company being set up there. From may 2018 i have been travelling and now have had to relocate to hyderabad on my assignement. Please clarify clearly on a prepaid service how and why a consumer has to pay for the service not utilized/no usage.
Act collects the charges on basis there is going to be usage of the line/broadband service. Hence if there is no utility or data transfer of any sort asking for a rental is not expected and hence dis-connnecting and removing a physical line should not be so difficult.

The internet connection provided by ACT bangalore gets frequently disconnected.

    I have requested for installation and have paid the amount for 6 months amounting to rs. 7428.
    Then due to device setup problem i didn't proceed with the installing and requested for refund immedietly. Act representative said that within 15 days the refund will be processed but still now i have not received the amount which i have requested on may 16th 2018. I have contacted frequently from my side for this issue and no positive response has been made and yet they keep saying the process is delayed without giving me a time frame for the amount to be credited. I have waited nearly 42 days now and still they never called me back regarding this issue even once.

      I was ACT customer for almost 2 years. I was happy with their support and service till the last billing cycle. I was having 6+1 months plan activated. I didn't make the payment since I wanted to terminate the service. Unfortunately the service got extended for another 20 days and then account got suspended with the revised bill for 40 days. When contacted the CC, they said the bill got generated for the whole month. but account got suspended due to non-payment. :)
      So I request them to revise the bill for 20 days(Till the account suspension date) and gave the cancellation request.

      The CC said they cannot take cancellation request since there is due which i have to pay.

      I raised 4 requests which are got closed without any response. They revised the bill to 20days and asked me to pay the bill. Finally i paid my pending dues by 29th May 2018.

      Again i have got the bill for 1200 for June Month. I got surprised and thought it would be an system error. so Called the CC again and asked the details.

      Now the bill got generated for 2days for the disconnected broadband connection.

      When I called the CC for last Two request for waiving off this two days bill(Don't remember whether it is 8th or 9th request). The person named Hemanth started blaming me in such a way that
      1. Why you didn't not make the payment on time?
      2. The fault is completely yours
      3. Why did you care about this silly amount?
      4. Giving a wrong solutions that they will stop sending reminders about the pending amount instead of waiving off the amount.

      All my requests to ACT are about only one thing. Its only for cancellation/Termination/disconnection. If the calls are recorded for quality purpose, please listen to all my requests that i have raised. Also listen to CC representative Mr. Hamanth responses to me.

      I have tried to explain whatever happened. he didn't care about what I am telling.

      Kindly waive off the amount whichever claimed as pending from my end. instead of stopping alerts.
      Please listen to the voice call recorded for last two tickets. If the way of talking is right from the CC Executive, I am ready to apologise and pay the pending amount to ACT.

      Request No 1:

      I request ACT to listen to all my calls spoken to CC. if I give the request for activation or continuation of plans, I am ready to pay the amount.
      Also I request to you to have the proper ticketing system. Because all the request i had given for cancellation has been taken for billing/waiving-off/Payment/so and so except cancellation.
      If I had used one bit/byte during the activation period. I am ready to pay the amount immediately. So request ACT team to waive off the 2 days bill amount.

      Request No 2:
      Mr. Hemanth who spoke to me was very short tempered guy and who reads the system messages and quarrelling/questioning with the customers. Its a harassment. The system whichever you have created to avoid mistakes are creating mistakes. Either ACT may think of bringing the right system or train the executive members to deal with the customers in a proper way.

        need to downgrade the plan

        Hi,

        I have been constantly following up customer care and there is no response. I have asked them to change the plan to 425 and they did not. For upgrading the plan there is an option but there is no option to downgrade the plan. Please do it immediately. I did not find any difference in speed after i upgraded my plan.

        I had subscribed for act fibernet on may 12 and the salesman promised that the installation will be done the day after. He took the money for 3 months via cash but the installation has not yet taken place. When i contact him he says connection is not feasible so he told refund will be given. But none of this has happened. He is not responsing my calls. This is the worst customer care service team that i have seen till now. Their main intention is to cheat customers of their money. Two days once im calling to customer care but still

            We do not have internet connection in the building and had raised a ticket for this on 12th june. There has been no update on the request and even after trying innumerable times, we are getting now proper response from the customer service.

              I have been speaking to ACT customer care and have informed them multiple times that we wish to terminate our connection since we have received poor service (also can be verified by our complaint logs and executives who have visited the location).

              It is next to impossible to ever manage to speak to any customer care executive on their helpline numbers.

              We will not be giving any further notice to ACT. Have a good time getting me to pay any outstanding amount!

                I am a act fibernet client from almost 3 years, we renew every year for 75 mpbs and pay 16600. Now from more than a year act has changed it charges and charges only 12200 for 75 mbps and 13300 for 100 mbps and 15000 for 150 mbps but they continued to collect 16600 according to their old payment while giving me only 75 mbps from 2 years and worse they had the audacity to call and ask me to renew for the same price and did not even inform they cut prices for everyone and increased the speed.

                Everyone please be very careful and check your plans. Act fibernet is a fraudulent company where they cheat and take money from old clients. Cheap and filled with frauds.

                i spoke to your rentention team executive yadagiri who connected me to satish from billing who said the plans changed 3 years ago and accepted i was paying for the old plan meaning yearly i am paying 4600 additionally from 3 years meaning in 3 years i paid 13800 more and for what? a lower plan and a lower FUP. SCAMMING PEOPLE MUCH? Then satish from billing put me on hold without telling me and this is on the recording with me and hung up. CHEATERS. ACT FIBERNET IS ENJOYING CHEATING CLIENTS? SCAMMING PPL AND ASKING THEM TO PAY HIGHER TARIFFS AND THEN DISCONNECTING CALLS TO SAVE FACE? This will be a front page article in TOI and lets see how many old clients sue you SCAMMING THIEVES! I have proof of how much clients were paying 3 years ago in you scam and how much i payed. Will put all of it with proof in the newspaper!

                They have been cheating old clients every year with higher tariffs and never updated about their new plans or downgrading packages and over charging. Check you packages, they have charged me 16600 every year from 3 years for 75 mbps and 250gb fup and my friend 12000 for the same package. 13800 RUPEES OF CHEATING IN 3 YEARS AND NOW PUT MY CALLS ON HOLD AND THE BILLING DEPARTMENT SATISH IS OVER SMARTLY PLACIGN CALL ON HOLD FOR 2 HOURS INSTEAD OF ANSWERING THE SCAM THEY DID. I have photos and screenshots of different clients on same plans with different tariffs and different FUP!

                OLD CLIENT PLEASE DISCONNECT FROM THESE CHEATS, THEY ARE LOOTING YOU! ###

                  Recently 10 days back i have raised request for new connection.in order to that for checking feasibility i have followed up with customer four to five time they were said today or tomorrow execute will come and check. After 10 days that to i called and asked customer care execute to transfer this call to higher management, then he transfer to floor manager, after explaining everything then manager saying there is no feasibility. That to after more that 7 days.

                  I am very much unsatisfying with response to customers.

                    internet being charged but not upgraded

                    I have been complaining to act for my internet connection which is for 100 mbps but working at 30 mbps. I've been complaining for the last 5 days they have acknowledged that the router needs to be changed but are not doing so. Their service has gone down very badly.                     This beam act internet services is very useless and worst no body response on my issue.

                    Last week on thursday i take new connection act there took money and gone. I will followup they told given on saturday but net is not coming. I will followup so many times to customer care number but no response from there side. Totally customer care is very worst no body response i yesterday continuously but no luck. Atleast they not send username and password also

                        Act fibernet promises on their website if you pay for 6 or 12 months subscription upfront you get additional data apart from your FUP, but after making the payment it has been 2 months now and I don't see any data being credited, nor have they replied or responded to my emails or complaints.

                          I have got my new act connection in coimbatore on 3-june 2018. I have opted for 6 months and paid my full cash. Connection itself took 3 days to setup and after that i have problem with my connection.

                          I have contacted the customer care every time they say same answer your queries your complaint will be resolved today. I have logged the complaint on 7-june-2018.

                          Still 3 days past, no proper response. Even i went to act office in coimbatore and they gave me engineer number but he never picks my call. I have really feed up with their service.

                            Hi,
                            My internet was not working from may 14th 2018, after continuous follow-up my problem was solved on may 22nd 2018. (Complaint no: [protected])
                            Also act junction box (A device used to pass the internet and consumes electricity) is installed in my residence and it was placed on 19th may 2018 and i was told by act executives that i would be paid for the power consumption of there junction box and i was also told that charges would be waived off for the days where the service was disrupted, so total days of disrupted service was 14th - 22nd may 18 (Including the start date and end date) i. E 8 days.
                            On june 1st i received my bill and it was not clear so i asked them to give me a detail bill and they did send me on 2nd june 18 (Pfa) but it was not what i expected.
                            They had waived off only for 3 days and there is no mention for the power consumption charges for there junction box, so i immediately responded to reconsider the bill. Its been 10 days today and i still didn't get any reply from anybody.
                            I resent the same mail again on june 6th 2018 but no response and i tweeted on there page in twitter on 8th june they asked me to give a missed call on certain number for bill clarification, they have my details i have sent a mail but they didn't contact me and they were expecting me to give missed call so i even did that but now they are giving me reasons that i was not reachable.
                            They are just duping me by giving reasons and they also know may bill due date is on 15th june but still no response from them.
                            The customer executives are rude and they give false statements boldly and they say it wont be fixed.
                            The company (Act fibernet) has rendered deficient service by not providing the quality promised and not satisfying the customer needs.
                            I am not going to wait any more as i don't see any progress in my complaint.

                              It was recorded in your database that from[protected] to[protected] i have used 110gb of data. I don't think i use that much data in 10 days even i didn't download any such big files. To my knowledge, i have totally downloaded 13.64 gb in the above time limit. Later all my data i use is for normal internet browsings like facebook youtube and whatsapp. But my data usage is more than expected like 26gb a day or 12gb a day. I don't think i spend that much data a day. I think there is some mistake in your data usage calculation. I request you to please look into this problem as soon as possible. I also request you to let me know the process of discontinuing your internet services. I would definitely switch to other internet service providers if i don't get this issue solved properly. Even my post fup speeds are low it's about 100kbps but the promised speed post fup by your company is 512mbps.

                                Hi,

                                I deeply regret to write an email about pain i have to go through for getting a refund from act. I have applied for an internet connection and paid amount 12, 400 rupees, being a loyal customer i did not hesitate twice to pay the amount. And then i have waited for over a month, since the installation is not done i asked for refund and i haven't received my money even after a month of follow ups. Customer service response is always the same that refund is pending for approval and it needs 10 more days which is extremely frustrating for me, by looking at the number of calls i am making to act every one around me in my office are pretty sure about not taking an act connection for their home.
