I'm a consumer of aircel network from past 3 years. On 17th of February, 2014 an amount of Rs.50 were deducted from my account balance on account of some service that I did not use. I contacted customer care on the very same day and they told me that my money would be refunded. Today is 21/2/2014, I already have contacted customer care 5 times since then. Now the customer care is saying that the deduction of money was reasonable and it will not be refunded. This is the 2nd time I'm having same kind of problem with aircel. Please reply on srishti.me.[protected]@gmail.com for the solution to this problem and guidance. Thank you.

    Pahle to miss call alret ki seva laga di mere rupees b kat liye. Fir complaint karvai to kha 24 hours me aa jayege fir vapis call kiya ki night tak aa jayene. Morning me dekha to nai aaye fir vapas call kiya custmor care par to kha yaha to koi complaint hi nai h or fir phone hold par rakh diya puri baat b nai ki or call kat kar diya. Mere ko to u hi pagal bana diya.. Ab aap hi kuch kare Aircel k against..please

      Dear sir, I bought a new aircel sim no mob no. [protected] 2 days back. It has not been activated till now. I have been contacting aircel customer care but have been getting the reply to contact point of sale or 59059 for activation. 1) I have submitted all the required documents to aircel office (Mr Ajit -[protected] Kapashera border Delhia 2) I can't contact 59059 for activation because my sim is unable to get the signal though full signal is available at my place.         Dear Sir,
        I have been using Aircel No [protected] for the past 6 months and only for internet usage. few days back i recharged for Rs 68 and i got 68 talktime and i recharged for data pack of Rs 251 for 3 months. suddenly when i saw my balance today its showing talktime balance as 38 only. i did not make any call from my this number. when i contacted the customer care person they said you have activated caller tune and for this they have deducted rs 30 which i never opted for.
        i dont know why these company deduct balance without authorisation. similar problem i faced in reliance and airtel.
        pls help me to get the balance refund to my account.

        Dear Sir,
        I received a call from [protected] and he asked me my debit card number and expiry date and other details for the purpose of refunding money to my bank account. when i located this number it was from uttar pradesh..?????????????.
        he said me that without other details he cannot refund the money.

        It seems you are falling prey to fraud. You should never have given credit card details to someone whom you don't know. Contact your credit card issuing agency/bank and tell the incident and ask them to block your credit card.

        To Aircel Support:

        While appreciating your response to above issue in the forum, we wish that clarification on the above matter too comes forth here itself. Matter is clear case of fraud. Will Aircel trace who called the victim for refund? Was he Aircel employee/agent? If not conncected to Aircel, how he got to know mobile number of Mr Ajay and about the issue? Is Aircel management aware of such frauds prevalent in system? Why will Aircel not lodge criminal complaint against the person who demanded credit card details from your costumer on behalf of Aircel? Why shouldn't we believe that the Aircel management extends tacit support to such malpractice and fraud?

        Let us not argue about the VAS menace which has been widely prevalent amongst the mobile operators including Aircel. This has been admitted by TRAI too. Can we know details measures taken by Aircel to prevent occurrence of incidents of activation VAS without the consent of costumer? If not, why not? If yes, then can we know how effective were these measures?

        To Ajay:

        1. Keep developments of resolution process posted in the forum, if any, This will be helpful other victims like you.
        2. Let your friends and relatives know about it. Convey them verbally or through emails requesting them forward the message further to their friends and relatives,
        3. Share your experience on social media sites like Facebook/Twitter,

        Dear Mangal,
        Thank you for your valuable advice. Actually iam fed up by these mobile operators . whether it is airtel, reliance aircel or vodafone or idea all are fraud people and i have been facing the similar problem with all these mobile operators. Normally these people don't refund money and give some excuse and once you make a consumer complaint then these companies refund the amount but I feel very sad for those people who don't know the procedure for getting the refund and they lose their money. If 100000 people don't do anything and just remain silent then these companies make an unfair 50, 00000 straight away!!!.

        Something should be done for this.
        Again aircel deducted Rs 50 from my account on account of some download which i never made.

          Hi Sir / Ma'am, I am Aircel user last 9 months.
          Yesterday they deduct 9 rupees for what I don't know and receive me sms
          then i am contact to Customer Care but your service time is 08:00 to 00.00.so
          i am try in morning call in your Customer care but really your customer
          care support is very very very bad i can't believe they cut my call in 2
          times without any solution.
          This problem repeat in 2-3 times in 9 months service but really very
          bad experience with AIRCEL.If you not resolve my issue then i am going
          to consumer court and never never never use AIRCEL in future and never
          suggest my friends & families use AIRCEL & also suggest port as
          soon as possible your number.
          I have also VODAFONE number and use last 6 years never face that
          kinds of problem.If any problem they really resolve quickly and refund
          balance.Kind for your information i have already use sms pack in my
          VODAFONE last 3-4 months and more so why i am activate in my AIRCEL
          number????
          All mobile recharge by me so i have all invoice in my mail.Attached all voice conversation by your customer care & print screen of SMS.Please solve the problem as early as possible.

            I am a regular user of aircel network and have experienced many times that aircel has deducted amount from my main account for sending any text message even after having the message pack activated. Many times I have tried to contact customer care representative but due to their poor response and connectivity I was unable to contact them. I would request the authority to take this issue seriously. General problem with aircel are as follows: 1. Their staffs are not technically equipped/well trained to provide information in due time (i.e during call time) 2. They have a ready made excuse that "information are not available now as their system has not yet been updated, and customer should call after 2-3 hrs. 3. It has also been noticed that during the call with customer they use to disconnect the line, and then again we have to explain our issues to someone else and this happens repeatedly 4. In case of 3G internet, the data consumption is very high, i.e even for general surfing the data is highly consumed and the pack is over in few days as compared to other networks. I have my personal experience of loosing the 3G data. It appears that aircel is making people fool by providing 3G data at lower cost first and then charging by high volume of consumption. I request the board to forward this issues to the most senior authority of aircel company, so that they must get aware of these issues taking place and resulting in downfall in the overall value and loosing customer loyalty.               I have taken Aircel Post paid Internet connection, upto few days back it's working fine with fast. suddenly it the speed went down on day. Regarding this i have complained to Aircel Customer Care, they told they will resolve with in 24 hours but it's not happened. I have complained 3 times. but no result in internet speed. Worst of the Aircel customer service level.

              This is my Aircel Postpaid Number, I have the plan 10 GB of 3G data. From the last Jan 27 onwards i'm getting slow Internet speed.
              I have contacted with Aircel Customer care through phone and directly they told it will resolve by with in 24 hours but not yet resolve by them.
              I have decided to disconnect the connection, it's almost 1000.00/- RS loss for me. I'm using the different connection for this month.

              I have disconnected this number. But I can't wait up to responding for a long time by using this slow Internet speed. Now I have taken new Connection from other service provider.
              I can agree Aircel is speed in 3G network wise, but when ever we get the issues it's getting headache to make resolve the issue.
              One suggestion from my side, it would be better if increase the customer service side support to resolve the issues.

                  On the last Saturday, I bought One Aircel Mobile Sim Numbered[protected] with my ID prove of ADHAR Card in Rs.105 from Panvel New mumbai Retailer Shop.
                  The Retailer told that will be done activate Sim up to tomorrow evening, But it is going seven days But still retailer did not activate my sim. I had requested almost 10 times on his mobile number [protected] please help me what is the right way for me?

                    I am postpaid holder of Aircel (Aircel Cellular Limited) services. I have decided to change my plan to pre-paid. I have visited Aircel's Corporate office in PH Road, Chennai on Jan-4. The information I have gathered from them is, after applying for plan change I will get a call in 3 days regarding our confirmation of plan change. After that confirmation they will proceed. I got a call in 3 days, (However the person supposed to change my mind with some upgrades and offers, I said no to their request) After confirmation, again I visited Corporate office on Jan-19(Sunday). They said that I have to apply for pre-paid plan during week-day i.e., Monday to Saturday and They are not supposed to take any application forms on Sunday.I asked them about their office hours to process my queries & document to be submitted & all other formalities, they said upto 8PM they will be available and told the needed documents too. I have asked them again is that all done if I come on a week day. They assured me that there is no other formalities to process. Then again on immediate next day(Jan-20 Monday) evening 7PM I visited the corporate office, to apply for my plan change. I have filled the form & they refused to get the form, they told that upto 4PM only they will process for new plan activation, They not supposed to get the forms from customer after 4PM.I got frustrated, I argued that on Sunday no one have told me this should be process within 4PM. If I have known that I would arrange my visit accordingly. But there is no answer from the "SUPPORT". And the hard part is, they are not feeling guilt for THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE. They have wasted my time. My time what I mentioned here is 45 MIN to 1HR, an average time to wait for my turn in the queue to see a customer support person. I have visited the customer support TWICE after waiting for my turn WITHOUT ANY PROGRESS. My Questions are: I didn't get a proper instruction from the support person, Is the support is responsible to guide a customer on any services? If yes, WHY I DIDN'T GET A PROPER INSTRUCTION ON MY FIRST VISIT? Does Services means ALWAYS A ONE LINE ANSWER FROM THE SUPPORTERS FOR ANY KIND OF QUERY?

                    Thank you so much, I have solved my issue on 25th Jan after wasting my long hours of idle sitting and days because of "THE SUPPORT" provided by AIRCEL CUSTOMER SERVICES.

                    On Jan 20th, I was the last customer to respond. (As early I mentioned - Then again on immediate next day(Jan-20 Monday) evening 7PM I visited the corporate office, to apply for my plan change. I have filled the form & they refused to get the form, they told that up to 4PM only they will process for new plan activation, They not supposed to get the forms from customer after 4PM.I got frustrated, I argued that on Sunday no one have told me this should be process within 4PM. If I have known that I would arrange my visit accordingly.) On that day a Support guy, his name was Mr.Shyam(I don't know his full name) He told that they will accept my form without making me to wait on queue.

                    On Jan 25th, I went to support center again. And asked whether I able jump the queue as Mr.Shyam assured me, on my previous visit. They simply said no. I expected this. Because none of the customer is prior than any other customer. Then why that lie on the day end. To simply neglect me and my complaints. It shows their untolerable irresponsibility.

                    You guys are taking the issue as priority one, but not the customer's valuable time. Conveying apologies is ok. Try to avoid them initial stage.

                    I have posted same issue to appellate.[protected]@aircel.co.in. And I received a mail similar to the above comment. Here I have told my problem faced by you so that others can able to rate your services.

                        i called to aircel customer care on 13 feburary 2014 (08.09 am). the reason behind for calling to customer care was, one rupee balance deducted from my account. so i calleed and i got cnnected. a girl answered to me. i explained wat happened. she asked whether i put message booster or not. i said yes. she checked and say ur booster over. then i said two days remaining to over. she said planned changed before four month. i asked her, y u havent informed to us through message. then she said i asking un necessary question. i replied i am asking necessary question. she then spoke rudely and said " vaaiya mudutitu vai da", then i spoke roughly. she disconnected..

                          Hello, I'm facing slow 3G internet service. I have sent multiple emails to the customer care and it was of no use. Most of the time my internet speed is less than 0.5mbps. You guys advertise 7.2mbps...I never even got 4mbps till now!!! Upload speed is slower than 2G. I get 0.03mbps (that is about 3kbps!) I think this is the slowest 3G service in India (Shame on you Aircel) You guys say customer satisfaction is your priority, but based on my past experience, I really doubt it... I hope you take up this seriously as I'm fed up trying to get the issue fixed.

                              but they not send my money back @7/2/2014 I hv 197.34
                              but at last its 97.34...

                              This is Prakasam and my aircel number is [protected] and i was recharged RS.150 /- after recharge i was received one SMS from DD-Aircel [combo-137 and STV -13 recharges successful. Combo-137-150TT +150 SMS (3 days validity) STV - 13-150 Mb 3g/2g data (2 dys validity) ] so i will browse on 19/09/2014 10.15AM to 10.20 AM that time aircel take my main balance RS.150 /- there after i raised aircel customer care no.198 and talking to my issuse after that they take complaint and i recived one complaint number 1-[protected] and one day after again i was recived one sms to DT-Aircel [ dear customer, your concern as per reference number 1-[protected] has been resolved on 19/9/2014] but i did not get my balance refund amount Rs.150 /- so please take action for this aircel and i need my balance amount ...
                              Aircel is waste. Because of they deduct all money with out reason.

                                hello, I have been trying to get my MNP code from aircel since 6th jan 2014 and I have not received the code yet. I have called the call center fore more than 5 times and they have promised a call back in 24 hours which never took place. I have called them and after a long conversation they gave me a code and I have submitted the code to my new network and they saw that the code is invalid.I have called the contact centre today and they deny the existence of any such code and as expected told me that I will get a call in next 24 hours. I have written a mail to TRAI and no response from them. Awful service fro Aircel with home I have been for more than 4 years and 2 numbers..The worst part is that the appellate number provided on their website does not work as no one answers the call.                                   Hi, I am Arindam Dey. I have an Aircel prepaid (Chennai) mobile connection. I use that connection for using mobile Internet also. Regular basis I use the pocket Internet cards also. But for last few months Aircel is deducting money without any reason. Although I have activated Data Pack and I have sufficient balance data, they are deducting money without any reason. They are telling it as a VAS charge. While they are not sending any SMS after deducting the money also. Also sometimes they are deducting money by sending SMS "You have paid for this content" while I was not at all using internet at that time. They are simply cheating with us. Almost they have deducted rs. 60-70 from my account by different times without having any reason. I have mailed them many times but they are giving some false excuse. I am fed up with this. Please help me. They are simply harassing me.

                                  My number is [protected]. Yesterday Aircel again deducted Rs. 15 from my number and they are telling they deducted for "Animation download via WAP". But first of all I was not using Internet at that time and I have already activated Rs. 37.00 pocket Internet pack while the balance data is already there. But also Aircel is deducting money. Now you can understand how they are harassing people. They are telling that they are giving priority to the customers but the actual thing is just reverse.

                                  I am in Chennai, if you call to the customer care number, it is very hard to communicate with them Because they only understand Tamil nothing else. Although I have tried with the options Hindi & English but alas. Both the cases but experience is very bad.

                                  I have communicated by mail with the customer care. They called me from the number [protected]. They are telling you will get your balance within 7th Feb. But it didn't happened. Again I call them on 8th Feb morning, they replied you will get your money within 8th Feb EOD. But at 10th Feb also I have not get back my money. Now you can understand how they are taking care of the customers.

                                  The basic thing is they are simply telling us the same repetitive answer either "VAS charge" or "Download charge". If we can't download after recharging the Pocket Internet pack also then why they are not disclosing that in their website.

                                  Also I am not sure what they mean by downloading. When you open google.com in your browser then also some data will get downloaded. This means technically their statement is self contradictory.

                                  For last 2 days again & again AIrcel is deducting money everyday by Rs. 13. They are not sending any SMS also. When I am contacting with them they are not at all responding my mail. Huh!!! Strange. AIRCEL IS A FULLY CHEATER. NOBODY SHOULD USE THIS. THEY ARE ONLY CHEATING PEOPLE NOT GIVING ANY PROPER SERVICE.

                                      I received A fake call on[protected] on my aircel no. that i have won a lottery of Rs.25, 00, 00, 000 from [protected] and the caller asked me to submit my account no. so that he can transfer the lottery amount to it. So, I request all the people to avoid these type of calls and do complain about these fake calls!!!
