I am postpaid holder of Aircel (Aircel Cellular Limited) services. I have decided to change my plan to pre-paid. I have visited Aircel's Corporate office in PH Road, Chennai on Jan-4.
The information I have gathered from them is, after applying for plan change I will get a call in 3 days regarding our confirmation of plan change. After that confirmation they will proceed.
I got a call in 3 days, (However the person supposed to change my mind with some upgrades and offers, I said no to their request)
After confirmation, again I visited Corporate office on Jan-19(Sunday). They said that I have to apply for pre-paid plan during week-day i.e., Monday to Saturday and They are not supposed to take any application forms on Sunday.I asked them about their office hours to process my queries & document to be submitted & all other formalities, they said upto 8PM they will be available and told the needed documents too. I have asked them again is that all done if I come on a week day. They assured me that there is no other formalities to process.
Then again on immediate next day(Jan-20 Monday) evening 7PM I visited the corporate office, to apply for my plan change. I have filled the form & they refused to get the form, they told that upto 4PM only they will process for new plan activation, They not supposed to get the forms from customer after 4PM.I got frustrated, I argued that on Sunday no one have told me this should be process within 4PM. If I have known that I would arrange my visit accordingly. But there is no answer from the "SUPPORT". And the hard part is, they are not feeling guilt for THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE.
They have wasted my time. My time what I mentioned here is 45 MIN to 1HR, an average time to wait for my turn in the queue to see a customer support person. I have visited the customer support TWICE after waiting for my turn WITHOUT ANY PROGRESS.
My Questions are:
I didn't get a proper instruction from the support person, Is the support is responsible to guide a customer on any services? If yes, WHY I DIDN'T GET A PROPER INSTRUCTION ON MY FIRST VISIT?
Does Services means ALWAYS A ONE LINE ANSWER FROM THE SUPPORTERS FOR ANY KIND OF QUERY?
