There is lot of voltage fluctuation at out home in JP nagar 7th Phase puttenhalli. Yesterday due to voltage fluctuation , the fuse at the board has burnt out . Allong with this , our chimney , Magnetic induction stove , Automatic water level controller is damaged and not working.
This has been happening for sometime and there is no positive action taken from BESCOM.

    WRONG CALCULATION IN BILL

    Hi,

    I am staying in munnekolla, marathahalli. My nov bill units has wrongly calculated. I always get bill RS. 500-600( around 100-150Units)

    This month i got bill RS. 1113, when i checked the reading previous reading 6807 and present reading DL.

    When i checked the meter it shows 6938. but they charged me for 262 units.

    but the current usage is[protected] = 131 Units.

    I am a lessee who stays in the house let out by A GOPPU. The RR No, is GLH2247.

    Power failure is a regular feature here and it took more than 40 phone calls in the last 24 hours to get it fixed. (I called Control Room, Call Center, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Line man...)

    Yesterday there was no power for more than 10 hours and today's power outage happened at 11:30 am. After several rounds of complaints the Line Man Muniappa came to our place around 4 pm and started threatening me for my complaining, saying that:

    1) I am not entitled to complain if I am not the owner of the house.
    2) I have complained that he was drunk while called him. (At least his inconsistent talk and behavior on the phone sounded to me he is drunk).

    On reaching here he instigated some local person and both of them together started threatening with raised hands. Even though the Assistant Engineer who was talking to me on the phone wanted to talk to him, they together chased me away.

    My question is:

    1) Are we entitled to complain even if we are not owners and Kannadigas?
    2) Are the employees allowed to misbehave with customers?
    3) What is your action in the case of this employee?

    Bescom employee the person who comes for taking meter reading has taken money for meter replacement but didn't give aju bill.
    Finally he has installed the meter which is old one and there is no bill for that.

    Also he had taken money for asd bill payment which is also not paid.

      Hello,
      I pay my bills via internet banking through my account; however since last 2 months August & september I have not recieved the bills in my online login. So i tried to pay it on Bescom website (http://bescomepayment.com/EPayment/) however it also shows old bill of July only & same on the website of Bangalore One (http://www.bangaloreone.gov.in/bescom/bescombilldtls.aspx). I tried calling & raise complain but none picks up the phone in E7 subdivision & there main call centre just forwards the call or give me some number to call on.
      I wasn't able to pay the last months bill due to same as my work schedule donot permit me to travel a lot on weekdays. This month also i have got the hard bill with penalties of not paying the last month bill, however this bill is also not available anywhere in online logins to be paid.
      CAN SOMEONE HELP HERE PLEASE !!!!

        Dear Sir,

        I have received a wrong bill and when I tried to contact BESCOM and asked details they are not responding properly.I have paid the excess amount in the month of july-2011 and in the month of Aug I received the bill Amout Rs -392 and unit consumed was 230 and in Sept I received the bill showing amount due Rs.2057 and unit consumed was 235. When I called BESCOM they are not responding properly saying arear is due for that reason them amt due is Rs.2057. Every month I m paying the amount than how arear is their.Last month showing -ve Rs.392 and this month Rs2057.How ?
        No one is reponding prorerly.

          I have received an incorrect bill amount ( VERY HIGH -7265) for the last month electricity bill.
          I usually pay all my bills regularly. My usual bill come around 200 - 300 Rs. But this month I have seen a very high bill amount of Rs 7265. Unit consumed is just 72 only.Please do the needfuls ASAP.

            Hi,

            I need help on the kind of irratational behaviour from BESCOM staffs in Koramangala 6th Block area.
            They are disconnecting electicity connection without any prior intimation every two months on the day bill is generated. If this is how the system works then why do we have the "DUE DATE" concept. Even no body is available on the help line number provided in the bill. Now I have no idea whom to aproach. Please look into this issue as this is totally disappointing and I cant understand if there is any other intent otherthan giving trouble to citizens.
            FYI - my RR number is 4SEH1078.

              Did not receive bill from Bescom for 2 months.3rd Month Received but higher charges and penalty.

              I am a tenant in Pai Layout 302 GR Paradise Doorvani Nagar Post.Owner name is Mr Winston Raja G.i have not received electricity bill since March. Person used deliver bill said there are some corrections need to happen.In April also the similar thing has been told.In June (for the month of May0 i have received bill and total charge 2522 with 3 month's charge 2180 plus penalty charges. My usual bill used come before March is around 600/650....

              Hi I m staying in Mnjunath layout, Munnekolala Maratha halli. Since last 4 days there has been frequent power cut in our area. On asking BESCOM personel are simple saying it's happening due to rain and line troule. They are not doing a permanent solution for this and putting people in trouble. Requesting the proper authority to take severe action against the people involved in it for their negligence. Some of the peoples are Yogesh (Assistant engineer, Marathahalli), Chandrashekhar R(Lies man, Kundal halli offcie). These two people are really ignorant in their work. Please take action against them.

              Hi I am a resident of Chowdeswari Layout Marathahalli Village near Trinity School. From last few days it has become a regular routine for frequent power cuts in our area at day time as well as late night time. Since we are working from home it becomes real harrassment with such frequent power cuts. On calling BESOM personel are simply addressing the same with no specific time limit and reason of the power cut. Everytime new person will address the phone and are really very rude. Some days power cuts are from 10am in morning till 8pm in evening. And apart from that frequent power cuts are regular now and being a resident of the area I am really frustrated about the same as it is hampering my daily life.
              I would request the concerned authority to look into the matter and do the needful and take action against the persons involved in the same.

                Very high electricity bill

                Hi,

                I am staying in a small 1 BHK house where I generally use 1 table fan, 1 laptop and 1 or 2 lights for around at max 9 hrs per day. This month my electricity bill shows that 210 units have been consumed and the bill amount is Rs. 942.

                It is never possible, there is high probability that there has been some manipulation done near my meter box. Can you please investigate it as soon as possible?

                There is a huge tree at 2nd cross 1st Block Umer Nagar Arabic College Post Bangalore.The branches of the tree is touching live wires. During raining and heavy wind spark noticed from the wires. It may incur loss to lives.Will the BESCOM authorities take action immediately?

                  There is a terrible powercut in Adugodi, Nanjappa layout, Bangalore 30 since a week. It's so difficult to live with kids in this lockdown and manage office and house work together at home. Inspite of this BESCOM powerecut has become another nuisance and trouble to live with. Please take some action.

                      Sir,

                      The land in and around the High transmitter No.14, at 12 th main, Chandranagar, Kumaraswamylayout, IInd stage, Bangalore - 560078, has been vacant and reserved for the park. But from last week onwards i.e. from 13/14 of January 2011, some rowdy elements have started the construction there and put a huge board stating that, that land belongs to KUMARASWAMYLAYOUT HIRIYA NAGARIKARA VEDIKE AND GRANTHALAYA. When the residents of 12th main road of chandranagar questioned the authentikation (Proof) of this, all of them were thretend, abused and chased by those rowdy elements by saying there all belong to S.C. and S.T. people and the followers of Their MLA Mr.Krishnappa. Where is the justice? What has happened to BESCOM and BDA squads who checks these type of illegal activities and stops them? If a chance is given for these type rowdies to grow in the name of their caste, tomarow they can occupy all the vacant sites in that area. Is there anybody who can give justice and clear this unauthorised construction and make a park over there for which it is reserved for? kindly take a quick action please.

                        Today the power in our area, RHBcolony serviced by E4 Sub Dn, was off from 9 am to 5 pm. I have not noticed any info for the public.

                        secondly I contacted central complaint situated at KRCircle. I find in their database MY RRno DEH 1451
                        is in the name of Lakshmidevamma where as this RRno is with me for the last more than 30 years. I had told the Accounts branch of E4 Sub Dn office about this error who promised that it will be set right. This has happened amonth or two ago. But today when Enquired about this in the Central complaints the mstake still persists. Whom to contact?? when the concerned is not taking any action. My Mob no [protected]

                          hi,
                          i am really fed up with the load shedding done by bescom from past one week... even on enquiring they say that higher authority gave the order to do the load shedding(on repeated asking for theiry authority contact no they decline to give the no).. since am staying in the rural area, they think that rural people dont need much power as much as urban fellows need and they give only 2 1/2hrs of power in whole 12hr time from 6am to 6pm.. what will be the fate of students and farmers who live in the rural area..... can't anyone give a valuable answer for this and see to it problem is fixed...

                            There is too much power fluctuations occuring in ASWATH NAGAR 7TH CROSS in Marathahalli bridge. Because of this power fluctuations my television which was provide with a branded stabilizer was repaired. We are unable to use computers because of these fluctuations. More than 3 to 4 bulbs were fused still now. This was the situation only in my room alone. Our area division of electricity board comes under division S7. For this division they have given the mobile number[protected] in the following web address http://www.bescom.org/en/services/servicestations.asp. But when calling to that mobile number its telling as all incoming calls to the following number has been barred. Very rarely they are picking the call when we call to their landline.

                            The Besscom number given in the internet is of no use! He himself has no idea what Power issue is around him. Just a dummy. This voltage fluctuations is extremely annoying since I run a baking business. My business is getting hit because of Power cuts, fluctuating voltage. There is no solution. It's extremely Annoying since there is no one to answer. Karnataka besscom functioning extremely terrible.

                              Hi,

                              We are experiencing power failure for one phase in Ramanjaneya lauout, Marathalli in Bangalore.
                              When we are calling BESCOM, they are telling us no one has compained regarding the same and asking us to call another number to give the complaint. But no one lifts that other number.

                              We are facing this issue regularly and response is very very very bad from BESCOM.

                              Anyone please take some action here.
