Pfb., the bus details,

Date and time: may 22, 2019 : 09:105:00 am
Location: residency road & museum road junction

This is regarding the negligence driving from a bmtc bus driver which is accountable for a accident. The incident took place in a signal where the bus is being halted next to my car and when the signal is on the bus driver didn't notice the car which is standing next to the bus and he suddenly took off which had caused a dent and scratches on my car rear side. It was a pure negligence shown by the driver as he didn't even apologised to me nor stopped the bus. I somehow caught the bus on the next signal itself and politely asked the driver to respond for the incident but he started yelling at me rather talking to me. He was actually claiming that it was my mistake and not his. The bus has been dashed into my vehicle from behind. So irrespective of whose mistake it is, it was an accident so proper response is needed from both the parties (Myself and the driver).

The accident has caused me a multiple scratches on the rear wheel guard and i think it needs to be addressed asap.

    I wanted a Volvo pass so I gave the counter man 2500 rupees and he gave me normal bus pass, as I am new to the pass system and when I said give me volvo bus pass he said I never gave him 2500 rupees and returned only 1500 rupees rubbish person dint return the 1000 rupees ate it all, even after installing cameras on the counter it's no use.

        I hardly see the bus stops at various parts of the city have very poor information about which buses ply in the bus stop and it's timings. Also no information about the route map is given for the buses that ply in the bus stop. Without route map, how will the passenger know, how he or she can reach the destination? This is pathetic. Bus service should be friendly and information should be given fully. Flexibility of bus pass should be done like metro card and should be deducted when the person enters the bus and deducted at the departure point. This will reduce the work of bus conductor

          Description: my car was parked on the left side of the road with ample space for the normal traffic to flow. A bmtc bus just gazed through front portion of the car damaging the right mirror completely. As soon as the bus came in contact with the car, i steered my vehicle to the extreme left trying saving my vehicle from further damage. When chased and confronted the driver was very abusive and threatened us. Not sure what is the procedure to get this dispute resolved, need help. The monstrosity of these drivers have costed a lot to general public and these incidents go unreported due to the complexity of the process. Help.

              I lost my purse in bus number 500 (Guessing) on 13/05/2019. I boarded the bus from emc2 (Mahadevpura) around 11.45 am and deboarded the bus around 12.35 pm at kalyan nagar. I had around 300 cash, 2 gold rings, 2 hdfc debit cards, original pan card, aadhaar card and voters id.

              Please return it if found. Those rings are very special and i am very much attached to it as it is gifted by a person who is no more.

                I was travelling in a bmtc bus (Ka.57. F.690) on 13rh may morning 9.40 from madiwala masjid to dhoopanahalli. The ticket cost 17 rs and since i am a regular passenger to office i gave exact change and asked for ticket, but the conductor was very rude to me and asked me to pay 22 rs for the ticket, firstly i did not understand why he asked, but later i understood that since i dont know kannada he was trying to make me fool by saying something.
                He used many bad words in kannada and asked me to pay 22 rs and i told i need only 17 rs ticket only. At last he told one bad word in kannada and gave me the ticket. I dont know why these government official people are behaving like this to common people.

                I have already register a complaint against the same conductor 6 months ago also, and still you have not take any actions against him

                I request the bmtc to take proper action against these type of people who are insult to the whole bmtc who dont know to behave properly to passengers

                  Hello, my name is sumuk shashidhar and i am a student who regularly travels the route, harinagar cross to yelchenahalli.

                  However, on the 215t route, on may 12th, at around 8:15am, the conductor refused to give me a ticket, i repeatedly asked him for it, but he acted as if he eventually would, but never did.

                  I asked him what i would do if the ticket checkers came as well, but he gave me an angry look and simply walked away.

                  The bus number for this was ka 57 f 1439.

                  I sincerely hope that you take action as this is cheating the government as well as the citizen.

                  The conductor checked my bus pass (smart card) and started arguing it was fake because the photo was not bright, the conductor did have the ticket machine he could have checked whether my pass was fake or real, but instead he stated comparing my smart card photo with the other passengers which is so unprofessional.

                    Hello,

                    I have a complaint regrading this bus conductor where i took the bus from udupi signal btm to banshankri. And paid 20rs to conductor thinking he will give me 10rs back. However the conductor gave me 5rs and gave me a ticket from si apartment hsr layout to banshankri.

                    I got to know he cheated and when i asked why you gave me a ticket from a stop where i have not boarded, then he told me to get down and go to bus stop so that i can charge 10rs. Where as the bus stop was just after the signal.

                    I have attached the ticket for the reference and want a proper action so that no conductor should ever cheat any person like this.

                      I have running late for work around 4:30 pm on 12/05/2019 when i realised that i didn’t have any money in my wallet, so i ran into an atm and withdrew thousand rupees. The atm machine, handed me two five hundred rupee notes. I boarded the bus from kurubarahalli to kbs, and gave the note to the conductor, who told me that he didn’t have change and i needed to get off the bus. I refused. He started threatening me and shouted on me. The bus driver stopped the bus and conductor said he wouldn’t continue till i got down, but i still refused. And i told that you keep that note and i will give you change in mejestik but still conductor refused and shouted on me to get off form the bus. I refused, finally conductor told me to get the change from the shop, i decided to get the change from the shop and i kept my bag on my seat and went to shop to get the change and driver moved the bus to 300 m so i ran with the change,,,,, i have very disappointed about that incident
                      So plz take the corrective action on the conductor and help to reduce these incidents in future

                        I was traveling on majestic to kadugodi bus on 8th may 2019. I boarded the bus from domlur busstop. I was getting down at the big bazar busstop at whitefield near itpl. I had a personal emergency and i was in a hurry to get down from the bus and did not see that ticket checker was there. He neither announced him self saying that there is ticket checking going on. I as usual went to get down from the door and suddenly one fellow in uniform pushed me and asked for ticket. Since i did know who that person was i ignored him and kept moving as i was under lot of stress and wanted to attend to personal emergency at the earliest. Only at this point he said i am ticket checker that too very rudely and he kept pushing me. I also told him not be rude and push and i showed him my ticket. At this point another ticket checker who was also in the bus started assaulting me and did not let me out of the bus. He threatened that he would take me to kadugodi police station and file a fir. Both of the pushed me to back of the bus and kept on hitting me all over my body. Not just this they dragged me out of the bus at itpl bus stop and took me to a waiting car and kept on hitting me inside the car. As i am a strong willed person i did put resistance and dodged many of their assaults.
                        I want the these unruly goonda tcs to be brought to justice. I do not know who gave them the right to assault and threaten. Is this how bmtc employees deal with their customers?

                        Please speak to Mrs Vijayalakshmi of ATS and her boss Mr Srinivas. They have all the details. I believe the names of the ticket checkers are Harish and Shekhar. You can confirm the same with Mr Srinivasan. He also has access to recordings of the proceedings. Everything has been recorded. If you want me to submit that then I will file an RRTI and obtain the same and give it to you.

                        Since I have not heard from you (BMTC) I have filed an RTI asking for the recording of the equipments carried by Harish and Shekhar. As soon as I get eveidence of assault from the footage I will submit it. It would have been nice if BMTC had done the same.

                          Today 5 am i travelled from gurugunda palaya to sumnahalli bus no ka 01 f 4543, very rash driving, driver didnt missid to jump any humbs and gutters on the road till sumnahalli, i was sitting in back side, one time i touched roof of the bus and come down very fast, my whole body is paining now, heavy back pain, apart from the conductor taken 5 rs extra, instead of 15. He didnt given the change also. All passengers are scolding then also driver is not ready to hear our voice even conductor too. I cant able to sit now, i need to go for detailed ortho checkup... Who will take care of my expenses. Eiether bmtc has to take my expense or staff of that bus.

                            Bus conductor doesn't want to give ticket after taking money. I asked many times for ticket but he ignored. At last he gave me ticket, but after this he behaves very badly. He doesn't know how to behave with passengers. I felt very disappointed.

                              I traveled from yelahanka new town police station bus stop to venkatala on 1-may-2019 at 8.30 pm. The bus no is ka 01 f 9519. The driver did not stop in designated bus stop but halted the bus in signals in both stops. His driving was very harsh with unnecessary breaks. There are many old people and young kids on bus and hence such harsh driving is not acceptable. Request you to kindly take a strict action against him on moral grounds.

                              I boarded the bus at night time however the conductor said that there would be additional charges. He started arguing and since it was late night I didn't have any option.

                              How can we ensure that Bus conductor don't charge extra?? Conductor is charging extra in the name of night and putting it under child ticket for travellers

                                I had obtained pass for the month of may early and used it on 29th april. I know that monthly passes are valid from 28th of previous month. Attached below is response from bmtc customer care on this. Still the conductor insisted on seeing old pass, which i didn't have. He also insisted that rules have changed 6 months ago and that i pay money. This is bad customer service.

                                  Hi team,

                                  This is to bring to your notice regarding the rude behaviour of the driver of bmtc. Most of the passengers who take the ticket for veeranapalya stop are either dropped before or after the flyover as the driver chose to go over the flyover.

                                  Passengers are left to walk all the way despite taking the ticket for veeranapalya.

                                  The bus driver of 500 series bus (Bus # 2172) was very rude when asked why he did not take the route to the bus stop on 26th april (2:00 pm). He instead shouted and said that passengers need to check if the bus will go over the flyover or to the bus stop before boarding the bus as he will chose to go over the flyover.

                                  Request you to take action against the driver and instruct the drivers to take the correct route to avoid inconvenience to passengers after collecting the fare for the particular stop.

                                  Hi Team, we are still facing the same issue where the bus drivers do not go to Veeranapalya bus stop however take the flyover. Although we take the ticket for the stop we are left walking all the way and they are very rude when we request them to go under the flyover. Experienced the same yesterday. Bus # KA57 F 3626. Ticket issued at 13:21:59. Depot 11. 500A/25

                                    As a regular traveler of bmtc bus, i think it is very important to inform you this.

                                    Today i took bmtc bus ride from jayadeva to arekere gate around 7:45 pm. Conductor took the money and said he will give ticket. But he did not. Instead he moved on to collect money from other passengers. He did not give ticket to them also.

                                    In the next stop i asked for a ticket. He told me he will give. But he did not.
                                    I observed him until my stop came. He did not give ticket to any one.

                                    And this is the 2nd time i am observing this behavior from bmtc conductors. Drivers also will not say anything about this.

                                    If this is the situation going on, obviously bmtc will say not much profit is coming. At last they will raise the bus fare. Again passengers will become the victim.

                                    Please take some action to prevent this from happening.

                                      This incident happened while travelling in AC BMTC bus. A woman conductor took extra money from me, rather than ticket price and shouted at me 4-5 times in front 40-50 people in the bus

                                      I took the bus from a signal (Udupi garden signal), where bus already stopped, people got down and then I board the bus. She started shouting for no reason, on saying that I don't understand the language, she shouted double. (I didn't understand any word, she said).

                                      On giving money for ticket and not having a change, she charged extra than the price of ticket, when asked, she shouted again in Kannada.

                                      Bus, then again stopped at some other signal, then I asked will you over charge these people also, she shouted again in same language

                                      I am travelling in city since 8 months. Didn't have a pathetic experience than this.

                                      Everybody knows that there are 50% of people living in the city from outside, this is definitely not the way to talk to passengers in the bus

                                      I am sure somebody will do something about it, so that she cannot shout on people like this anymore. After all, the buses are Karnataka government buses, and being a lady conductor she which doesn't get any right to speak to passengers travelling in the bus, especially who don't know the language, like this.

                                      Just wish this woman, should learn some etiquette to how to talk to passengers. I am sure taking extra money from the passengers is not what government job allows you do. It definitely against the work ethics and exploiting people by making them feel embarrassed by shouting on them without any reason isn't what a conductor in the bus should do. I hope she gets punished for what she is doing and my fellow passengers doesn't get charged like this.

                                        Hi all,

                                        This is to bring to your notice regarding an accident i faced while travelling in bmtc volvo bus.

                                        I was travelling in v-500a/33 (Ka57f2198) today[protected] from railway station kr puram to bellanduru when this incident took place.

                                        My bus was moving slowly on right near marathahalli multiplex (At 8: 45 am), suddenly out of nowhere the bus driver of ka01f9123 drove next to my bus rashly.

                                        Bus ka01f9123 had no place to move, still the driver tried to pass through rashly, as so both buses had friction, hitting the mirror and pushing the bus i was travelling towards extreme edge of divider. Somehow the driver of the bus i was travelling controlled the incident and we were safe.

                                        This driver - ka01f9123, did not follow any traffic rules and ethics. Also he had put the lives of other passengers in danger.

                                        However, the driver of my bus tried to check with driver - ka01f9123, to our surprise he misbehaved saying it was not his fault. And trying to bully saying that he is senior.

                                        Driver - ka01f9123 had right eye sore, which i believe could be one of the causes of his horrible driving and then accident.

                                        This is concerned to safety of public while travelling bmtc buses, hence i request to take action against such rash driving causing accident.
