I purchased a samsung galaxy s10 device from airtel in march 2019 worth rs 66, 900. The primary reason for purchasing this device through airtel and not from anywhere else was the airtel secure promise. And since i was getting this insurance from airtel i did not bother to get any third party insurance to secure my expensive phone.

Dear sir/ madam,

It is really disappointing that airtel company & its insurer rejected my claim for damaged mobile.
I request you to look into the matter with airtel secure & just not let them allow this way to decide the case is genuine or not. Otherwise airtel image & trust for customer is on stake. For customer like me who had been with airtel since last 15 year it is truly a breach of trust.in this hope you understand...

My case of airtel secure is rejected indicating mismatch of imei number and i have already submitted certificate of samsung authorised centre letter to prove mobile is genuine and there is no mismatch
Even that i submitted working phone but when i received mobile is switch off so there is somewhere fisshy regarding this case please help me to solve it...

My phone had fallen down from the table when a cord beneath the phone was pulled. I submitted a Device Claim wrt Service Request # 3780819. They contacted me for documents & I submitted the same. After 5 days I get an email that this was rejected stating 'the cause of damage was found to be due to improper handling'.

My claim is rejected on the ground of improper phone handling. What a rubbish reason to deny a customer for insurance claim. Nobody keeps the phone in locker so that it remains safe. The whole purpose of having an insurance is that we are protected incase of improper handling.

Moreover its not 100 percent expense covered insurance which means customer has to pay the repair...

I have been cheated by airtel secure. I have taken the secure plan only to make my device secure and safer. But as today when i required claim against my damaged phone. During the registration process of airtel secure, i was informed by airtel's customer representative that claim can be lodged within 15 days of damage.

Hi this was my 11 th month of paying for insurance of my apple 7 but unfortunately my phone slipped off my hand and screen got cracked, on applying for claim i was asked to uploads documents again and again and after one day of submitting the documents i was told this was your fault as this is mishandling not accident as they want i should met an accident first and then they will see further in mobile insurance case. Most hopeless unacceptable...

They are making fool of public by joining hands with one assist. They don't approve even the genuine claims by making excuse that it was due to mishandling and not accidental.
Don't spend your hard earned money by paying the monthly charges for your handset insurance.
You will not get nothing at the time of claim but only kill your precious time in replying the mails....
