Dear Sir/Madam,

We travelled by Simhapuri express from Hyderabad till Ongole on 27th July. We travelled by sleeper class and our berth number was 71 and so we were near the exit door. There were a big group of general ticket passengers who boarded the train at Hyderabad itself. The ticket collector came and checked all our tickets and least bothered to find out why they were all standing there and why they boarded the train. He made no attempts to find out also. After the train went for one hour or so, there was a commotion by a police constable asking the people standing there if they had ticket saying that there was theft in the train and why the general ticket passengers boarded the train. When the train reached Warangal both the TC and the constable came and asked all the general passengers to leave that reserved compartment compartment. Why in the first hand that the TC allowed general ticket passengers inside the compartment? Only after the theft had happened, he opened his eyes. I do not say thats its because of the general compartment being in reservation compartment that the theft had happened. Anything can happen in overcrowded compartment. There is no way for going to wash room also. Why do we need to encourage this sort o[censored]nhealthy travelling. Railways to ensure the ticket collectors being performing their duties well.

    We travelled by train on 27th July 2012 to Ongole and travelled back to Hyderabad on 29th July 2012. We had to park the car at the secunderabad railway parking lot for these 2 1/2 days. Earlier the car parking rate used to be 80 rupees per 24 hours/day. Now, it is 250 rupees per day. As such the amount hike was a big shock for us when we entered the parking lot. And, as there was not much time for us to take back the vehicle home, we had to park the vehicle at the railway station itself.
    First thing is why is it so costly? People come from long distances in city to the railway station. Instead of saving time and money this is outright looting. Secondly, there is no bill or receipt from the parking people after the payment. There is no record of how much we paid and when we left the station. They also took off the original in-pass. When prodded, the only repeated answer we got was that the computer wasn't working. On persistance, they started hurrying us saying that other vehicles are waiting and that we have to leave the place soon. How can the payment be taken in such a crude manner? And, why 600 rupees plus was charged for two nights for parking the vehicle. The amount is even higher than the railway sleeper to and fro tickets. Why does railways encourage these sort of parking. Resolve this parking fee menace.

    As of November 2016, 4 wheeler parking charges are Rs.500/- per day.
    As Meru cab failed providing me service on time, I drove my car and parked(for 2 days 15 hours) in Secunderabad Railway Station.
    It is not even 3 days complete, but I paid Rs.1510/-
    Even my vehicle number is entered wrong and there is no way of verifying it before hand as the swipe card system do not show details(though this system is probably accurate in calculating time)

      Sub: Complain against irresponsibility and misbehaviour of the individual sitting at counter no. 1 at JADAVPUR railway ticket counter.

      With all regards myself Sanat kumar Saha want to bring to your notice that on 2nd of aug 2012 there was a real surprise while I was standing in a queue in Jadavpur ticket booking counter,kolkata to book ticket for New Bongaigaon. The booking for tatkal starts from 10:00 am morning. There were 2 counters on the premises. It was 10 pass 9, still one of the counter was found closed (counter no.1). The ticket booking authority sitting on the same was found to book ticket of his personal interest keeping the counter closed. This situation was witnessed by an individual who was in counter no. 2 to book his ticket. When we people pointed out against this unlawful activity, the person became furious and came out of his counter and started rebuking to the people standing in the queue. When the individuals in the queue started to raise their voice against his illegal activities and told that we people will lodge a complain against him, he said that the railway authority can do nothing against him.

      Secondly,there is a rule that if nobody standing in a queue is found to book ticket for tatkal quota between 10:00AM TO 12:00 noon then an individual opting for general quota can book ticket from the same counter. But the booking authority sitting at counter no.2 said that since nobody in the queue is opting for tatkal quota, therefore he will start booking ticket for general quota from 10:30am. By that time he left his seat and came back after 10 minutes or so.

      These type of activities is creating serious problem for the people and i do look forward with a hope that an appropriate action will be taken against such cases so that everybody can get reservation peacefully from the railway counters.

        Money charged, ticket not provided
        Hello,

        On 17/07/2012 I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 12990 JP- CBR express from Warangal to Chennai central boarding on 01/08/2012 for R Manoj Kumar Reddy Unfortunately after the payment was made through ANDHRA BANK ATM cum DEBIT card payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankresponse.do?com.broadvision.session.new=Yes&" came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.The money ( Rs 298 ) has already been debited from my ANDHRA BANK acc.but i have not received ticket confirmation

        I request IRCTC to help me at the earliest with the ticket . If not, the same amount may please be refunded.

        Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

          I have booked eticket from my friend’s login ID, for Delhi to Mumbai in train No. 12215 (Dee BDTS Garib Rath) for journey on 9th July’12 (PNR No.[protected] – Transaction ID No.[protected]).

          I want to cancel this eticket now & unable to contact my friend. Is it possible to cancel this eticket.

            From the day the suburban trains started from chennai beach to Velacherry, the passengers have increased to 10 times, even now we just have one ticket counter on a peak hour in PARK TOWN,

            Today when i traveling from PARK town to Thiruvanmiyur, In the PARK TOWN station at the peak hour of 8:30 am had a very big queue. the queue was from the counter till the bridge, To buy a ticket it took me 55 minutes to buy one ticket and when i inquired why we just have one single counter at the peak hour, The person replied that only early morning we have this queue and hence they do not have second counter at that platform.

            I think we need to learn from Mumbai suburban trains, how to handle large volume of crowd, Mumbai has 100 times more crowd than the chennai suburban trains. The ticket counters handled very well and we also have more than one option to purchase the ticket.

            I am not sure will the chennai suburban train will improve, Now we have yet another new metro coming up in chennai.


            The public is just suffering for being good and buy ticket and travel, If every one does not want to stand and buy tickets then railways can think what big loss they will be into...................

                So after his death My mother Submitted the All related document and Transfer of Pension in SBi Vizianagaram Branch Ac No-[protected].
                but till my mother Pension is not started.when I asked WCR Jabalpur they told document and PPO is in Bhpol office but from there No responce .
                Please see this we are in Probelum...

                  Sir,

                  There is heavy irregularities going on at Bangalore Cantonment railway station in bangalore .All the railways staff ,police and agents acting together in the tatkal ticket . Every morning same set of people will be in the front queue. The staff of the ATM around the main gate are the sub agents of the railway agents.kindly look into the matter.

                    Railways — double charge for parking at Agra Cantt Station

                    I made the appended complaint to the railways on the 2nd of november 2011 which is self explanatory. Nothing has yet been done. On 30.11.2011 I again paid the double amount.
