Meters have been up-graded on 24-04-14 and on 26-04-14 as we have deposited required amount, but cesc men did not up-graded the cables with the mains attached with the meters. Man attended on 26-04-14 asked for additional money for cable changing and man attended on 24-04-14 neither changed the cable nor asked for money for that.
We are bit confused about this matter. Are the old cables fit for ac use? One man asked for money for cable changing and the other did not do that. We are not understanding the matters relating up-gradation of meters for 1.5 ton ac installation although we have already deposited hefty amount of money as cesc asked to do that.
Please let us know what has to be done?

You also send the bill for the month of Nov, 13, Dec, 13, Jan, 14, Feb, 14 mentioned that "you do not pay the bill". Due to this I have not got the benefit of normal rebate as per your rate table.       Respected Sir, My Consumer number is [protected]. I am facing very low voltage issue at my residence. It is not a single user problem, it is faced by other people in the locality too. Due to the voltage problem my home appliances are tripped down now and then. My desktop has got affected. I have taken an air conditioner in my home after paying the security deposits and other charges to CESC months back. But I can't use it properly whenever required for this voltage issue. I have raised lots of docket, but permanent solution is not getting done. And still now everyday I'm facing the same problem. Please do the needful at the earliest.         This is to inform you that there is a everyday power cut at night time for 4- 5hours from Thursday(24.04.14) night only in our phase / line whereas the other lines/ phases remains uninterrupted in the same building/Apartment.We do not have any idea about electrical lines, so please check immediately the matter.Please see if there is any major problem. This is to inform you that from Thurs day 24 April Load shedding or Cable folt occurs every day and it stays 4 to 5 hours daily. On Sunday Current goes at 1300 hours and it comes at 1600 hours and again it goes 2300 hours and comes at 2330. Today morning again Line goes on 0930 hours and it comes at 1000 hours. Please let me know Why everyday this line goes. Other lines next to my house is uninterrupted Please check the matter and inform me what happened on this line. if on this line Load is too high please distribute some load to other phase.             I am writing this complaint on behalf of all the 14 residents of this twin building complex, situated bang opposite AMRI Hospital, Mukundapur. Since last 4 ( four ) days, there have been rapid power fluctuation, bringing at times the refrigerators and AC machines almost at halt. Fearing, heavy damage to those units in particular, we are forced to keep them off which is resulting into rotting the items in fridge as well as without sleep at nights. This has become unbearable & life threatening for those heart patients and newly born children living in the buildings, suffering sleepless nights when the temperature in the city is currently hovering between 40 - 41 degrees. Frantic calls made to the concerned engineer of CESC were though responded by sending technicians, but the diagnosis of the technicians and advices were, as usual, in that they asked us to check the main line in the building . Surprisingly, the diagnosis was made within 1 minute only by visual checking by using a torch light, like a magician. In the last year also the diagnosis & remedial advices were same when we went through this suffering which later was found incorrect in that no default was found in our building line on checking by licences electrician, since the building is only 2 & 1/2 old. We are not the default-customers of CESC and we pay the bills through our noses. The salaried employees may take the liberty of being lackadaisical & take salaries by not performing their duties but they, including the Controlling Authority, should appreciate the singular fact that they survive only by customers' patronage, therefore, they are pitying the customers. I have been constrained to use sarcastic words but only to bring senses of the people for the stated dismal attitude & affair. Hopefully, they will be awakened and do something to relieve us from such inhuman suffering.

              My self Jayanta Kumar Bhar having consumer no [protected], resident of 28/2, Sambhu Nath Das Lane. Sinthi. Kolkata. I have applied for increase of load of my CESC meter for installation of AC. I have applied through online on 02/04/2014 and on the same date I have maid payment. (Rs. 9894 having RR no. [protected].) Till today the status of my application showing "Our team would visit your premise on 07/04/2014 and upgrade your meter, to enable you to use the Air-Conditioner(s)." But still today (19/04/2014) no one visit my premise. It's almost 3 weeks gone after placing my application. This is my humble request to you and your team kindly do the need full as early as possible. It's not time to investigated whose fault it is but I want to use my AC with upgrade meter asap.                 I, the resident of 16B/1 Flat No. 4A, Padmababu Road, Bally, Howrah, West Bengal have been facing low voltage problem for last one year. The problem persists even after repeated calls to CESC who deigns to send their mechanics only to assure that either everything is OK with the voltage or things being looked into. As a resu;t of this voltage problem, most of my electrical appliances like my microwave or AC stands in perpetual dysfunction. I have learned that not just me but the entire neighbourhood of my locality is harassed by the same problem. I look forward to your kind intervention to find a proper redress without delay. The amount is Rs 1024.49 p There were three attempts made as it was showing up unsuccessful payments The transaction reference number for the three payments made are as follows: MUTI[protected] MUTI[protected] MUTI[protected] Out of the above three, the transaction reference number MUTI[protected] seems to be done successfully. Remaining were not successful. Please let me know when and how this amount would get reimbursed.

                            on 20 march 2014 with SBI transaction Id IGS2190655 AND IGS2187346 supp bill CESC payments bill was not generated from CESC site even the money for two transactions deducted from my Account.

                            i have complained SBI customer care they told transactions been successfully processed to marchant via order numbers[protected] and[protected] so kindly verify and refund my money to my bank accout

                              Hello, As we are all aware that CESC is one of the Largest Electricity Supply Company. But their Customer Care Executive who are there to help us - the common people. Today, during 1:30AM, the electricity supply failure in our area. We waited till 2 hours. In the mean time, many people in our area called CESC complain board (Customer Care Number - 1912) to launch a complain regarding the Power CUT. But, surprisingly the customer care executives conveyed different resolve time to different people. Many o[censored]s knew that within 1 hour the power supply will come, few told within 2 hours and so on. There is no particular time / solution we got from the Customer Care. Lastly, my mother (aged 52 Years) personally called the customer care and talked with some executive. but being so ARROGANT, the person did not listen to my mother's complaint and just HUNG UP the phone call. Then I called personally and asked why the phone call was hung up without listening the complaint. Is this a right way to talk with an old woman? I have talked with some "Manoj Dutta" - he is arrogant too and told me their rules and regulations. He told me that they have no authorization to hang up the complain call. But when I told him that I am an Electrical Engineer too and I have also well known that there is no particular authorization rules in the calling floor, he started to quarrel with me. I asked his Employee ID but he did not respond me and HUNG UP the call. I think CESC is a reputed company of Mr. Goenka and these type of Public Dealings will hurt his reputation also. Please hire those people who are good and know how to speak with the Customers.

                                For your information, there is a tree standing in front of a electric post which is near our lp.
                                I think there is a high probability that it might fall due to some wind action sometime in the near future.
