I Aditya Majumder,says behalf of my Grand Father, who is the owner of domestic electricity connection.
Shri Shambhu Majumder, Consumer Number- [protected], address- 16/29/A Rajen Seth Lane, Belur Math, Howrah, 711202.
I requested to you please check my last three bills.
July bill is reading on 4 Aug.2012,unit is 27432. and our domestic connection is disconnected by LCC on 8 Aug. 2012, time of disconnection meter unit is 27476 and reconnected the meter on 13 aug. 2012. I apply for the change the meter for over billing on same day in Howrah Regional office, and deposited Sum of Rupess 1000/-. next day replace the meter. time of replace old meter unit I taken 27487. and started new meter.
On August BIll reading 5 Sep. 2012. as Old meter unit Last taken 27432. time of replace 27487.
It I assumed. Old Meter[protected]
New Meter which continued 13 Aug. to 5 September- 294
(1-294)= 293
Total unit given in aug. bill 248 unit. which I paid on 26 Sepetember online
September bill came on october 0 Unit
October Bill is Comes yesterday on internet 947 unit
I want to say how it is possible
it will be[protected] unit

Please check the old meter last reading in physically
and send me amendant bill to me.

    After submitting every details required by them ,it was an oversight at that time that i did not see the name being printed in my deposit slip.My nightmare stated from that day,no banks in kolkata is ready to accept my application for opening a new account,its only my electricity bill name and the other central goverments records show as BIJOY KEDARESWAR CHAKRABORTY,the middle name is of my late fathers,wheras the cesc bill shows only BIJOY CHAKRABORTY. Just to incoporate this middle name,i have been running from pillar to post.I know very well if i grease someones hand that will be done without even blinking my eyes.
    I as a citizen of the country i beg to you with folded hands in solving this nightmare of mine.Waiting with baited breath for your reply.

      The electricity bill of October 2012 raised by the CESC to me (CONSUMER NO. [protected]) for domestic electricity consumed amounting Rs.2470, and paid by me online, is utter exorbitant and unjust.

      During the month in question 354 units has been shown to be consumed, when the fact is that (1) we were out of house for more than 7 days and (2) the air conditioner machine too was in less use.

      IT IS REQUESTED THAT COMMENSURATE WITH THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S OCTOBER UNIT CONSUMPTION THE C.E.S.C. WILL TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO RECTIFY THEIR SYSTEM (METER OR METER READING) IMMEDIATELY.

      I DEMAND THE REVERSAL OF EXTRA CHARGES ALREADY TAKEN FROM ME.

          I wish to inform you that my Electricity bill every month has a big fluctuation in amount.

          In the previous three months the UNITS CONSUMPTION IN ON A AVERAGE OF 1300 but all of a sudden in this month it incresed to 2150 UNITS.

          I am unable to understand how can the UNITS CONSUMPTION can be so DIFFERENT.

          I REQUEST YOU TO SEE YOURSELF THE COMPARISON O[censored]NITS IN THE LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR:

            Sub. Complaint for abnormal Bill amount for the month of JULY’12 for Consumer No. [protected], LP-140/10/4/1/3/7.


            This is to inform you regarding the untoward incidence of a sudden abnormality in the Bill amount (Rs. 12510) and very high value in the units consumed for Consumer No. [protected].

            The Bill for July also shows an anomaly in not showing the previous meter reading.
            The average meter readings for the meter for last 6 months and the July Bill shows marked discrepancy.

            Complaints had been submitted to CESC LTD. - TARATOLLA OFFICE, bearing docket nos. 160812/[protected]/160812 dated 16/08/12 and Docket No. 210812/[protected]/210812 dated 21/08/12 .

            There is no visit from CESC office and no action taken on the incident.

            Require your help for speedy resolution on the issue.

              Please confirm the month of which you have sent and received my electric bill and what is the present status of consumer No. Further, I mention that its not my fault but its my punishment and it will be more punishment if you send full bill at a time. So I urnestly request you kindly split outstanding amount in five installment which would be bearable for me. This mail may kindly be taken my option for splitting. I am in outstation so please don't' send total amount in one bill as I have no time to attend your office for splitting request.

              ongc — Low Voltage

              Sir,
              I hereby inform to you that the voltage in our locality is horribly low all the time. In the morning also we have to use stabilizer. This prob is due to single face line in our locality. Sir we are complaining about this prob from 2005 we have given joint petition of all the consumers to the Asst. Engineer, Baruipur Group Electric Supply with 3 reminders & after that we have submitted the same petition address to the Divisional Engineer of Baruipur Group Electric Supply.

              But till date we have not got any response from them & our problem is as it was in 2005. Please i hope that now there will be a remedy of this problem.

              It is very amazing as an CESC customer that ispite of payment of bill on regular basis still i have recieved the green bill and disconnection notice.

              This is vey humialiting for a valued customer.

              Consumer No [protected]. payment for July 12 was paid on 8-Sep -12 of Rs 1348. Now communication to pay the bill for the month of July and August.

                Normally my monthly power consumption is around 275-300 units and bill comes around Rs.1500/- to 1700/- pm, whereas this month i have received the bill for 2903 units amounting to Rs. 24280/-

It also be noted that average consumption of electricity is in and below Rs 600 per month. But in July we have got the electric bill Rs amount 3250. It is too much for us to pay the bill.

                  I , M.M.GUPTA, consumer of electricity from CESC/Kolkata, consumer No.[protected], have to pay Rs morer because of wrong method applied in billing in April & May 2012 .
                  A Electric bill for April 2012 shows adjustment amount to
                  Rs (-) 100 ( with advice -please do not pay this bill )
                  [ In reality a meter no.2005758 replaced on 24/4/12 showed
                  consumption of 89 units, due for charging in April2012 bill , amounting to (25x3.92)+(35x4.38)+(29x5.35) = Rs 456.45 .
                  By deducting adjustment amount of Rs 100 , amoint to be paid was 456.45-100=Rs 356.45]
                  B Electric bill for May2012 shows 315 units due to a new meter
                  no.4481975 added with previous month's unrealised 89 units ,
                  [THUS INFLATING THE BILL FOR 89 UNITS @Rs7.75 per unit at a slab above 300 units ,resulting in (89x 7.75 =Rs689.75
                  against 456.45 , an increase by 689.75-456.45=Rs 233.39 PLUS adjustment Rs 100 not mentioned really in May 2012 ,meaning another Rs 100 loss ,totalling Rs 333.39 LOSS ]
                  C Comparing the loads -earlier meter recorded 89 units in 13 days(6.84 units per day) whereas new meter , for same loads, records 315 units in 29 days (10.86 units per day as from 25th May upto 13th june there was nobody in house to consume )
                  My point is meter is reading high

                  This has reference to your Bill No. 142123 dated 25th October 2007 for the period from 13th April 2007 to 16th August 2007 against Connection No.R-85510 for sum of Rs.250/-.
                  I am to inform you that the above-mentioned bill for Rs.250/- was paid in cash by me at Corporation Bank, Vasant Lok, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi-57 in the month of November 2007. Unfortunately, this bill-amount is shown by you as outstanding and is repeatedly being reflected in the bills along with surcharge.

                    Our locality has been facing power outage since last night. There have been numerous complaints made from many of the households in the locality but all such things falling in deaf ears. The complaint id for the complaint I registered at 12.30 AM in the night is 0610355. Lately, the customer service executives have been fooling us by saying that the repair work is in progress while when we move out we do not find any such thing going on in either in our locality or anywhere nearby. This is disgusting service from CESC.
                    Let alone the suffering of the people in this scorching heat, there is a heart patient at the house next door who is suffering immensely due to this irresponsible attitude of CESC.

                      This is to inform u that we are facing a critical situation from last two days at 11:14 pm Due to power cut. We have a child in our house whose condition is very painful due to long power cut. We complain several times in your customer service. Our complaint No. is first day(04/06/12)[protected] and on 05/06/2012 is [protected]. but no response from ur side at that time. Your customer care man call me on 5/06/2012 at 09:00 am. After hole night.
                      Please think about it because regularly same time power cutting is some mysterious for me.

                        Since one month we are facing problem of Voltage fluctuation. Everyday I personally logged complain in 1912 or 44031912 but everyday this problem is repeating. No body is taking care of this problem seriously. Due to this reason MY desktop has got effected once and may be CESC is waiting for some more casualties. I don't understand why CESC is not taking initiative to solve this problem and why not giving a permanent solution. We pay bill on time, every formalities we have done according to the rules and regulation laid down by CESC but when it comes to service it's really disappointing us

                        We the people from 125 ward (Thakurpukur - LP-128/1, Poraswathatala), complained about low voltage
                        from 2010 onward. We have deposited several application for providing a transformer to our nearby locality
                        of post LP-128/1 and also meet to the District Engineer (Mrs. A.Roy Chowdhury), 2/3 times, but no response
                        has been came from her site nor from CESC.

                        This Devamitra Das Gupta, from Purba Barisha, Kolkata 700008.
                        Voltage fluctuation is not only impacting my electric gadgets but also my A/C.
                        My son is a patient of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and I have a very busy schedule of. Due to the voltage fluctuation from CESE end we have sleepless nights. All our health and work is getting majorly disrupted.
                        CESE MY TAKE ACTION NOW TO RECTIFY THIS IS WITH PROPER MEASURES ASAP.

                          Dear Sir / Madam,

                          It is observed that the voltage supply is not remaining adequate (i.e. 220V) throughout the day in all CESC service area. As a result of this the ampere consumption is increasing which in turn increasing the Meter Reading of individual meters of CESC.

                          It is considered that this is a technical way of generating more electricity bill for all CESC subscribers.

                          May I request you to kindly look into this matter to restrict CESC authorities in cheating its subscribers and let us pay the actual amount as per actual consumption of electricity.

                            RESPECTED sir,
                            my consumer no. is [protected]..In Feb12 bill bill is for rs1540 against normal billing of 650 to 800. The load is same.Unit consumed shown as 266 against normal avg of140 to 160.
                            pl recheck the meter reading n arrange for refund or adjust it 4m the next bill.

                              The Electricity bill of my residence has increased to almost double. Total no of flats are 8 in our building and only billing is too high.Its not like we are consuming much because we have only 1 AC,2 Gyser.Everybody in the building is having 2 AC, Gyser and other appliances. We had made changes in our electric fittings like tubelights and other things as well. Another flat is also having same problem, she called an electrician and after that her bill was reduced. Hence you are requested to please check our electric meter no being 4083562 and my address is DEEPAK TOSHNIWAL, 89/378,BANGUR PARK, PARK RESIDENCY,FLAT 2B, 2ND FLOOR , RISHRA Dist:-HOOGHLY- 712248 and my consumer number is [protected] and lamp post no is 16/24/8/1.

                              Sub: Complain for excess amount of electric bills and abnormally high meter reading in October 2013

                              The bill amount reflected in the month of October 2013 is abnormally high it needs serious attention from senior officials in CESC. The unit consumption is shown as 340 units which is highest in the history of my consumption in last five months. In May 2013 the unit consumption was 261 units and in June 2013 the consumption was 257 units. Furthermore, in October 2012 consumption was 210 units.

                              This unit recording is absolutely a wrong reading as is evident from the past trends and is not at all acceptable. This matter requires urgent attention and rectification.

                                IT IS REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT YOUR NOMINATED METER READING STAFF HAVE NOT ATTENDED MY HOUSE TO TAKE EXACT CONSUMED UNIT FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY'12 .
                                HOWEVER, AN EXCESS UNIT SHOWN IN BOTH OUR BILLS i.e.1)CONSUMER NO.[protected] in f/o Late Sailendra Nath Bose(Domestic) and Meter No.0948133, Consumed unit shown as 210 in addition to Previous Meter Reading i.e.7027, hence comes to 7027+210=7237 as per reading date on 30/01/12 mentioned in your current Year's bill of January 2012.
                                2) Consumer No.[protected] in f/o Probir Bose(Domestic) and Meter No.3101664, Consumed Unit shown as 107 in addition to previous Meter reading 17198, hence comes to 17198+107=17315 as on 30/01/12( Meter Reading Date)
                                Howeve, it is regret to inform you that till today both the METERs have not yet crossed 7237 and 17315 unit reading bar which earmarked in January 2012 Bills respectively for both the ushers as mentioned above.

                                Please treat this as "MOST-URGENT" and rectify the same accordingly with allowing special rebate in the next month's Bills as because U are collecting excess amount in most unethical way.

                                  This is to bring to your kind attention that on February 3, 2012 (Friday) at about 5:00 pm, fire broke out in the Main Switch of Flat No. 204 (Owner : Sumit Pal) at the Premises No. 71 Shyamnagar Road, Baguiati, Kolkata 700055, and then a large scale fire spread out to all other Main Switches causing total failure of the electrical connections of the Building. Some of the flat owners of the building are now trying to restore the connections on their own, without properly investing into the causes of the fire, and keeping the CESC in total darkness about the accident.
                                  We apprehend that some flat owners, including Sumit Pal, B. R. Goswami, Indranil Guha and others, of this building are using unauthorized A.C. machines, without taking prior permission and necessary infrastructure from the CESC, and this may be a major cause of the accident. We are greatly worried that if the causes are not identified and rectified thereafter with the proper approval of the experts of CESC, the FIRE may repeat any time in future, endangering the life and properties of the inhabitants of this building.
                                  Under the circumstances, we request you to intervene immediately into the matter, and remove our apprehensions. We shall be highly obliged for your quick action in this matter.

                                    I have filed a complain against CESC Limited many months ago, in regards to excessive bill against our home AC consumption. An engineer came & found the meter to be jumping on counts & even though the AC is turned off , the meter still reads units. He confirmed us about faulty meter verbally also told us that someone again would soon respond towards this fault through CESC.Now, its been 2 months that...

                                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                    This is to draw your attention that in our locality i.e. Dolgobinda Sinha Lane, Salkia, Howrah, the CESC contractor has started an unauthorised overhead AC wiring inspite of the objection raised by us and the local Municipal Councillor, Mr. Goutam Roy (ward No.- 12). Our lane is very congested one and those overhead wirings are passing within in a distance of Two/Three feet from house walls which is very dangerous. Inspite of our several request, they have not even used the insulated wire and also refused to do the under ground wiring.

                                    In this situation, we are hereby strongly request you to take necessary action to stop the overhead wiring work and do it through under ground.
