[Resolved]  palio — Car Service Centres

I had(have) so far been a proud owner of a Fiat palio for almost 6 years now. Little have I had any issues with fiatproduct minus the service centers. I have been forced to write this time around because the experience at a Tata Service center has forced me to become completely anti of Fiat products in India.
I took my car to Shah Motors in Sector -2, Noida, UP. and to my utter dissatisfaction I got a bill of Rs. 6,500 to pay, plus what I got was a vibrating car, the sound of the car being really weird I asked them to look into it, upon which I was told that the mechanics had left and I'd have to get the car back in 2 days. Also, I asked why wasn't it checked prior to delivery, they said they had overlooked and skipped taking the car for even a test run. How weird is that now considering it could have been even a braking issue and I could have met with an accident.
On taking the car again in 2 days, and mentioning that the car was jerking a lot, nothing was really done other than just fooling around. A couple of wires were removed and replugged in saying they had cleaned the spark plugs. Also, I was told that the spark plugs were cleaned 2 days ago as well (after my request).
After taking the car, I again encountered more issues, only this time around the next morning, the oil filter leaked completely and was replaced by a local mechanic as I was stuck up with a stalled car. More over, this happened again the next morning and evening. The filters were replaced by local mechanics all these times. By this time I had also lost complete faith in Tata motors (add to it their attitude). I was then told that there is some issue with the fuel pump and so was replaced by a local mechanic. On doing so, the inexperienced guy, broke a spark plug and an injector and caused issues in a sensor. I got these replaced by another service center but the leaking oil filter issue was yet to be resolved. After this, I had to take it to another mechanic who repaired the oil pump (as a new one was not available even at the workshop). This was the mechanic who at least understood the car and the issues.
I regret heading to the authorized service center as they caused an obscene amount of damage to my vehicle. What drove like a 'Fiat' now drives like a lorry.
I have since then advised all prospective fiat buyers against buying this car owing to the state of the service centers.
Also, this is not the first time such a thing has happened, the last time, It was Vivek Motors at Mathura Road.
I would also like to mention one more point, while I was at Shah motors, there was Punto that came for servicing, on opening the bonnet, your mechanics jumped with joy exclaiming 'arre ye to ekdum vista jaisa engine ha' i.e. This looks like a vista engine, proving how ignorant/inexperienced/without knowledge they were about a product they are 'authorized' to service.
Fiat might sell an amazing car in a Palio, Punto or Linea, but such a service network will bring it down like anything. Now Fiat must understand why an Indica Vista or a DZire or a Swift diesel sell more than your cars with the same engine, the one that 'you' manufacture.
All I want from this is, to have a check on fiat service network and not call all tata service centers as 'authorized' for Fiat products at least. Save those who have faith in fiat products at least.
