HOMESHOP 18:
Shopping with Home18 was my one of the biggest mistake in life and whole experience is a nightmare.
I Had ordered curtains under Order no.[protected] on June 27th 2015 while I was in US and provided a local contact number for Gurgaon.
After reaching India on July 4th, started tracking my order and was shocked to know that my order had been delivered on July 2nd at my home . Everytime I called customer care, I was given a new SLA for their complaint resolution . Finally, Homeshop18 executive (Ms Komal from media) called me back after I had posted my frustrating comments on its Facebook page.
Again was given a new time line for investigation . On repeated reminders, was told my order was received by some person named Nisar working at my home ( claiming as my contact had advised to give anyone working there ). However, people working at my home refused for receiving of any such consignment . Its Logistic partner FEDEX even did not has any ID proof or contact number of the recieving person except its name !
HOMESHOP18 was not able to accept the fact that FEDEX being the international reputed brand can make any such mistake and keep on saying for the delivery of the products at my home. After a lots of follow up Homeshop18 assured me for the investigation into the matter.
Its important to mention here that my home is in a gated community with surveillance facility and all visitors have to record their entry here.
Its not even funny, Homeshop18 had put the logistic company and its delivery boy itself for the investigation who have been the Prime suspect in this case.
- FEDEX had been giving the incorrect feedback to Home18 regarding it has
discussed and spoken to me and matter is
sorted out. However, in fact no one had talked or met me till July22nd .
- Finally on my reminders, FEDEX sent the delivery boy to meet me around July
23rd and accepted that he had come in the
same delivery van on July 2nd for the delivery and had made his entries with the
security at entrance of the premises.
- In fact, There was no entry in the security register for the date and time and he
did not has any answer for it.
- On July30th, I received the call from PINDIA (Marchant ) and he tendered the
apology for the episode and confirmed me
the processing of refund, refund processing was also confirmed by
HOMESHOP18 ( Komal )
- As I had to move back to US on Aug 7th, I didn’t have the follow up in this time
and Homeshop18 took the advantage of this.
- I reached HOMESHOP18 again for the refund on Aug 17th and was shocked to
know that the matter has been closed as
curtains were delivered at my home to so called Nisar
- HOMESHOP18 so called investigation by the prime suspect ( delivery boy)
confirmed to Homeshop18 that he had shown his entries in the register and his
video of entry to premises to me, so case is closed.
- Fact was, there was no entry in the register and even the surveillance of the
security is down since last 2 months and could not be played (security is
working to get it fixed) .
- I confronted the incorrect & false information provided by its investigation
FEDEX and once again Home18 has assured
me to relook into the matter. However, contradictory statements from its
officer (Rajiv FROM MEDIA) was really like a joke. One side he was saying entries
has been confirmed in register /video, on the other hand he was blaming it on
my community security if there is no entry !
- I also have traced the so called Nisar being claimed as had received the
consignment and this poor person has decided to visit homeshop18 office in
Noida today along with my brother for the face to face discussions
- I am a NRI and was in India for one month vacation . Because of Homeshop18
mistake and the way they handled this whole episode had spoiled my whole
vacation .
- Attitude, intellectual hollowness of its staff is a severe mental harassment for
me and have decided to bring them under the law of the land for this damage
now
I wish, HOMESHOP18 could have the sense of getting it investigated by its own or by the third party rather than the Local manipulator Fedex office and its delivery boy.
HOMESHOP18 customer care is totally pathetic, unorganized and unprofessional. Everytime you call them, have to repeat the same story irresepctive of the complain number . Its media investigation officer and other customer care wing always has the different status of your complaints .
Used to admire its CEO SUNDIP MALHOTRA . However, this experience of mine with Homeshop18 services is horrible . I had online shopped for around 5-6 lakhs house hold items during the last week of June from other players including Snapdeal, Flipcart and Jabong. Believe me, every item was delivered with professionalism and without any error except this single order from HOMESHOP 18 !!
