Amount deducted from my bank account

Hi all,

I am having my salary account in ICICI bank . But today 3 Rs/- were deducted from my salary account and when i looked into my mini statement it was described under "ATM DEC CHG". And when I tried to explore it over Internet, I found these charges are applied for when ATM of other bank declined to withdraw the money, if it doesn't have enough. So is it ethical to charge customer for this reason

There was a deduction from my ICICI account associated with my ICICI Direct with transaction remarks saying 'EBA upstream' and the amount is Rs. 6526.40 which is quite high and I was never informed if that is a hue brokerage cost that I am paying.

I seek an immediate response for such a big deduction of payment from my account and a refund post a correction as I wasn't aware of such high hidden charges that are to be levied by ICICI Direct.

This is an extremely poor customer experience that I am facing and would keep all my friends informed regarding such hidden charges for the one who are thinking of investing.

    I am SRIKANTH VELAGADA. 688.34 Rupees have been deducted from my savings account account[protected] as DP CHGS TILL Aug 23.

    Since 2018. I have not been using my Demat account till now. There was no prior notice about deduction intimation either mail or over phone, that too I haven't received any deduction message to my mobile or email.

    I need justice and my money back immediately. My Account Number is[protected].

    Below are the transaction reference details.

    1) 02/10/2023 - [protected] DP CHGS TILL AUG-23 - Dr. 344.17

    2) 28/09/2023 - DMC/[protected] DP CHGS TILL AUG-23 - Dr. 344.17

      I have a EMI with HDFC Paper Finance of INR 1728 that gets auto debited every month on 5th. For the month of September it was due on 5th September 2023, however due to some financial emergencies my account did not have the sufficient amount for the deduction. Later I had called the HDFC Customer Care and asked them for the links to repay the loan amount. They had provided me the links to repay the loan amount and the fine of INR 531. I had repayed the amount and the loan to HDFC on 12th September 2023. Yet ICICI Bank debited 590 from my account twice on 19th September 2023 and 22nd September 2023, without any prior communication or even providing a proper reason for doing so.

          I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I recently encountered with my account at [ICICI Bank ]. I am deeply concerned about the unauthorized deductions from my account, which have occurred twice(1899), resulting in a total deduction of 3800. I wish to formally register a complaint regarding these deductions and request a full refund.The unauthorized deductions took place on [[protected]] and [[protected]]. I want to emphasize that I have not initiated or authorized any transactions or policies that would warrant such deductions from my account.

            I am with ICICI bank as a Privilege Banking Customer but this year 2023 the amount of 826/- rs was deducted from my account without any alert message. I have not used an ICICI Direct Demat account since so many years and it was deactivated for a long time. But this year, these charges were applied and debited from my account on 28-Sep-2023. DMC/ DP CHGS TILL AUG-23 is shown in the statement. So please make sure to credit the amount which has been debited so far.

              ICICI bank has debited RS 814.45 twice in two days (29th and 30th September 2023) as dp charges. I have never opened an demat account nor utilized it for sell and buy stocks. So I demand ICICI bank to refund my money and look into this issue

                  Hi team,

                  My query is that i have contact with customer care.
                  But the resolution they given was not acceptable for me.
                  In my bank account - ecs charges has been charged multiple times. It is because of some online applications i have used before who represents it but bank should not charge its multiple times. As i am facing difficulty of financial condition as my father is hospitalized and in need of a surgery and all. I am old customer of your bank and having good banking with icici, Iam maintaining ICICI bank as my salary account from past 3 years. Please refund this time the ecs charges amount and it will not repeat again.
                  I have already cancelled all the ecs from ICICI bank these amount which is deducted is the previous pending amount. On july month salary they deducted around 10k and today i got salary 45k and full 45k bank has deducted which is not at all acceptable for me as per my current situation.

                  I am marking you mail. I hope you understand the situation otherwise i have to go with rbi.

                  Please do the needful as soon as possible.
                  Please cooperate with me and try to understand my current financial situation.

                  I request you to refund money as soon as possible.

                    One day ago (28.09.23) when i checked my account balance, I was shocked that around 1900 rupees where missing i checked all my transaction history of all upi apps but there couldn't find anything but when i checked my bank statement there I got to knew that 1899/- rupees where deducted for some "PPL/WPP_SR**********_Renewal of Policy" on 26th of September, 2023 which I have never enrolled for . There was not even a single message about the dedution of the money. I kindly Request for the money back!, its huge amount for a student.

                      On the date of my salary icici bank has debited 80000 as an ECS charge multiple times without a notification.

                      Its an entire month salary and i dont have any other source of income

                      Entire salary of 80000rs has been deducted from my account as soon as the salary credited.

                      How do i pay my bills, rent, medical expenses?

                          Am a icici bank customer. Yesterday[protected] and[protected] on both days ecsrtnchg charged 5000 rupees + tax... I don't know what the charges ecsrtnchg... They the bank hit the charges without my knowledge and without any confirmation email or sms or any phone call. Please explain what the charge it is. This type direction is not good please return my charged amount. Thank you

                            Today I have chcked my transcation from online banking and I saw that they have deducted 1899INR for some renewal of policy.

                            I got email they have mentioned
                            "your (New Policy)New Policy of CPP/OneAssist for (Privilege Single-Rs.2799)WA Privilege Single Rs. 1899 has been regd vide SR[protected] on 24-SEP-19. It will be completed within 1 working days."

                            I have not received any prior notification for that policy, I have not applied for that policy, how come they have deducted my balance, please help me.

                            I called customer care number and he said he can not help me and passed me CPP helpline number, when I called CPP helpline number they said they don't have information about this.

                            Customer care service is so bad, I have not applied for this policy for what they have charged me for.

                            Kindly help ASAP.

                            I emailed them as well in `customer.[protected]@icicibank.com` not sure if they will help me or not as experience was bad.

                              Am a icici bank customer. On 26-9-23 from bank there was a deduction in the name of ecsrtnchg charged 2, 251.21rupees. I don't know what the charges ecsrtnchg...                                   Hi.. My loan account ending with 9807 was already closed in the year 2022 but still its suit filed. Request you to remove it asap, I tried contacting the customer care also for the same but no reply till now.

                                    As the account opened is savings bank account and its 0 balance account but the bank has deducted amount and replying that no sufficient balance is there. As we dont have any loan . And So many days there was no deductions at all. please provide the refund and reverse the transaction when i called to customer care they aid that machine automatically deducted the amount 6 times . So solve the querry or else this will go further.
