Since last 4 days i am unable to call anybody as well as m not able to recieve any calls from my idea sim. My internet connection is also not working. From 21st oct.i was in international roaming and idea charged mei 100 rs.without any reason, so i switched off my phone. But on 24th oct.when i reached UP i found that i was unable to perform outgoing calls and everytime i try to call, it gets disconnected. I am also not able to contact costumer care.t

    Dear Sir / Ma'm I use your network for data uses only since last two years, earlier i was on BSNL. I shifted to your network because it was good & fast at that time and i thought as the time passes and technology gets upgraded your system will also improve. BUT I WAS WRONG. As i was not getting proper speed, i complained to your customer care services and your executives suggested me to change my SIMCARD as per them my SIMCARDS were faulty. Even after changing simcards when no betterment was received in speed and i complained again they again suggested me to change my simcard. This is my fourth simcard i'm using and all were getting same speed. These are the nos.i used: 1. [protected] 2. [protected] 3. [protected] 4. [protected] Some response i got in between last one year when Mr.Harshit was here as T.S.M. he cared about these matters very attentively, he left your company & here is all the crap again . The actual problem is not in your mechanical system, its your " incompetent and lazy technical staff ", who acts like BSNL staff .       While checked last 3 months bills, i found that Idea changed my plan from 99 to 139. When called customer care Executive, Idea already send Written Information through Courier & by post, which is still not received nor any SMS received from Idea fro Change of plan.

        Dear Sir, I am using my idea cellular number for the last 7 years.My number is [protected]. My connection is Postpaid nature. I am paying regularly the amount average Rs.800/- all the month as bill charges. Unfortunately I have received an amount of Rs.1668.50/- towards call charges and internet charges for the month of October 2014. I have not yet applied for Internet connection in my number. I have not yet used internet connection from my mobile number. I am upsetting why this kind of bill send to me. I don't asked anyone to include the internet facility to my number. I didn't expect this from IDEA for an old customer. I have contacted with customer care executive at IDEA CELLULAR franchise near Government Press, Thiruvananthapuram. But the attitude was very arrogant nature. HENCE I request that the above said bill may kindly be look into and reduced to the usual amount that I have remitted regularly. I also request you to if the internet facility is activated kindly deactivated the same. If it is necessary, I will give necessary request for activation, at that time.           after getting confirmation from your customer care that i have received a offer of 110 MB free for 10 days and after 10 days your net pack will expired and no additional charges given to you and i started browsing internet but within 5 days i got sms for making bill payment for 712.00 rs. im shocked and ask your executives to immediate disposal of this excess bill amount issue..but nobody helped me.out. now im not using your sim and want resolution of this dispute. pls help me and make sure you that i will pay the rest amount of bill but except internet browsing charges. my number is [protected]..Digambar Pathak

              This is escalation of a complaint no. C1-[protected] for cellular No. [protected]. First-of-all, I am not hesitant here to say that Idea service is a big piece of crap. I have been charged something called pro-ration data charges in my bill. My question is why was information not given to me when I was activating the data-pack??? Now after getting the bill when I ask the your prestigious customer care the same question they say I have been already informed regarding the pro-ration data charges. (Do you guys assume that we learn this bogus pro-ration from our birth?) Secondly, when your customer care doesnot know what to answer they put the call on hold and update the details as customer have put the call on hold. reference number for this issue is C1-[protected]. I have been mentally torchered by the customer care repeating the same pre-planned unrelated answers. I need a immediate action on this issue otherwise I will try my level best to escalate this issue further and stop this bloody service (cant call it a service also) from frauding people.                 Hi I have submitted a complaint to idea cellular which is given as below ""MY IDEA NO. is XXXX i have done a3 g recharge of rs 249 before recharge my 3g balance was around 600 mb and after recharge instead of adding balance my 600mb data was lapsed i have spoken to customer on 12345 and 198 to lodge my compalint 3 times spoken to vikas, deepak, harihar and also someone else also at 6:15 pm today each time i got different answers, one said my 3g balance data is added and two said that data is lapsed. these guys doesnt know what gb mb is and i have to explain them what it is. i want my remaining balance back or i will escallate this issue till TRAI"" The reply from Customer care i got that they will reimburse the amount and their mail is as below: "From: <[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com> Date: Saturday, October 18, 2014 Subject: With reference to your Idea Mobile Number : [protected] and SR Number : Q1-[protected] To: [protected]@gmail.com Dear Customer Greetings of the day! We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you in the event of any service lapse on our part. Also, we would ensure that the matter be brought to the notice of the concerned people to avoid recurrence of such incident in future. Thanks and regards Deepa Verma Customer Service Team Idea Cellular Ltd" But after few days i didnt got the reimbursement then i wrote a mail to appellate and they replied me: "From: Appellate Delhi <appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com> Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014 Subject: With reference to your Idea Mobile Number : [protected] and SR Number : Q1-[protected] To: "[protected]@gmail.com" <[protected]@gmail.com> Dear Mr. Ahmed, Greeting for the day! With reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that first recharge of Rs. 249 was made by against your Idea number [protected] on September 27, 2014 in which you were eligible for 1GB 3G data for 30 days. We would like to inform you that another same recharges was made by you on October 1, 2014 and October 13, 2014 against your Idea account due which all the benefits gets over lapsed. As per the details mentioned above, we regret that we would not be able to reverse the balance towards your Idea mobile number. We value your association with us and look forward to your continued patronage. We would request you to please follow the below touch points in case of any future assistance: Regards, Jatin Kumar " Request you to resolve my complaint

                Idea customer care is doing fraud, here they are saying that my complaint is resolved but at the same they have sent me below mail in which they are saying totally different thing as above. I would like to say that i will not hide anything here so that people will think twice before they apply for a connection in Idea

                "for your information i did not received any benefit. my account balance was around 600mb before recharge and after recharge of 1gb my 600mb data was lapsed because of your and fraud policies and writing just a mail to me will not address my concern. all i want to get back my data deducted by you due to your company fraud policies.
                again i bring you notice that it was no where written or mentioned that my data will be lapsed after i do recharge and this is sufficient to drag you company in consumer court and i belong to the family of lawyers and it will be easy for me to send your company a legal notice.
                i hope next time you will come with the correct resolution instead of mentioning your companies stupid policies"

The additional point I want to make is that if--in the event of that being the case--someone had broken into my email service and sent a wrong message on my behalf, then this can happen with the emails of all other IDEA customers, including those connected with national security and not just writing about the subject as is the case with me. Therefore, please look into my case with the utmost urgency.If no one had sent a message, please investigate how you sent me the message about Barring my service and under what circumstances.                   After contacting the IDEA helpline on telephone last evening, I was told that service to my number ([protected]) was closed down because of &quot;high usage.&quot; I was not clearly told what high usage meant. Be that as it may, why in that case was I sent the following messages?

                  Why, in the context of these messages, does the service to [protected] remain suspended even after I have told IDEA that I had made no such request?

                  If the messages had given a wrong picture, and my connection was closed for &quot;high usage&quot;, then, presuming that &quot;high usage&quot; means the existence of a ceiling on the amount I can incur for calls and messages per billing cycle, , why did I find my connection working again after boarding the flight from Istanbul to Chicago on the afternoon of October 18? Why did it continue working until the night of October 22 when it was again cut off?

                  What explains the second cutting off? Also, why does the service remain suspended even after I have told IDEA that I had made no such request? And why have I not heard from IDEA even roughly 12 hours after giving my contact number in the US?

                  And if, indeed, my connection was cut off because of &quot;high usage&quot; as I have interpreted it, why was I not told that I was approaching the cut-off amount before cutting my service off? This is particularly so because IDEA sends a surfeit of messages to me including every time I enter a new State in India and the rate at which I would be charged. Similarly I was told what the charges for calls and messages would be after I had landed in Turkey. Why then no warning message--and why the entirely untrue ones-- before closing down my number?

                  The very fact that IDEA sent me messages about rates in Turkey shows that it knew I was abroad. Did it not strike the service provider that a sudden discontinuance of my connection could put me to immense inconvenience? In fact it did. My wife, who is sixty-eight years old and I, who am seventy-six years old, were stranded in Istanbul and had to be in frequent touch with our daughter and son for arranging our stay in the city and our flight to the US from there, That is why we had to make frequent calls to them. The sudden severance of connection when we were in Istanbul and desperately in need of constant communication with our son and daughter, immensely worsened the crisis situation we were in.

                  Why does the service remain suspended even after I have told IDEA that I had made no such request? And why have I not heard from IDEA even roughly 12 hours after giving my contact number in the US? I am a post-paid customer with international roaming facilities. I have been using IDEA for over ten years now. Treating me in such an arbitrary and peremptory manner was absolutely disgraceful on IDEA&#039;s part--and I feel that taking out an IDEA connection was perhaps not a great idea after all.

                      To [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com Today at 9:38 PM I have received no reply to my message of October 23. To say the least, your behaviour has been most strange and unpardonable. On the night of October 17-18, I saw two strange messages--the first one saying that my request for Barring had been received and that it would be activated within six hours, the second saying that it had been activated. Thereafter I could neither receive nor make any call--nor send or receive any message-- from my IDEA number. This was in Istanbul, Turkey, Till then, as I have international roaming facilities on my connection, I had been receiving and making calls on my mobile since leaving India for Turkey on October 1. I found my service working again on boarding the flight from Istanbul to Chicago on October 18 afternoon. I thought that my messages--though shown as not sent--had somehow reached and my service had been reactivated. The service continued to work until October 22 evening when suddenly I could neither make or receive calls nor send or receive messages. My mobile showed "No service". All this has left me both perplexed and angry. How could IDEA say that it had received from me a message asking for Barring when I had sent nothing of the sort? If I had not sent the message, who had? If the second is the case, how could the person or entity send a message on my mobile? Also, if this is the case, IDEA had completely failed to maintain the integrity of safety of my service. This, in turn, has very serious implications because I write on national security and send to and receive messages from key people. Please look into the matter immediately and take necessary corrective measures, including resuming my service immediately with a message to this effect. Hiranmay Karlekar [protected]

                        I'm using Idea's 198rs unlimited 2g data pack with validity of 30 days, post 1.25gb usage the speed will be reduced to 20kbps. I used this pack for 6 months and the speed was never an issue. But from this month after 1.25gb usage, my speed is substantially reduced to 1kbps. So i contacted the customer service executives 3 times and done whatever they asked me to do like setting configuration, manual network selection, clearing caches, putting my sim into another phone etc. But none of them worked. My friend also have a Idea sim and uses same data pack as I do, but he doesn't have any problem with speed. I'm posting this complaint here thinking that may be the issue can be solved by any of you. Please help me.

                            Sir, I'd like to bring to your notice that I'm really disappointed with the services provided by IDEA to me.. I assumed that its the best network and now i genuinely regret being an IDEA customer.. I'm Puja Chopra from Visakhapatnam, A.P. The sim is on my name. And the number is [protected]. I've been a postpaid customer of IDEA.. Since I have moved to Raipur from Visakhapatnam and I still wanted to use the same network, I placed a request for migration from Postpaid to Prepaid on the 6th of October 2014 and was given a new sim assuring that it would be done within 3days.. I had also cleared my unbilled amount. It did not happen.. I called the customer service twice and I was given no proper response.. On the 10th Oct i received a call and was assured that this would be done within the next 3days. Also, have I received a text msg getting a confirmation about the migration:- "Dear Customer, your request for Postpaid to Prepaid migration is registered and would be actioned within 26 hrs. through Communication Id C1-[protected]." From the 10th evening till date, i.e, 25th October 2014 my sim is in deactivated state!! I have called the customer service a several times getting a response that it would be. activated shortly or that the documents have not been received (where as the documents were submitted on the 6oct itself) .. After my repeated calls, a week back, I was adviced to visit the branch.. Now here, I get to hear a totally different story stating that the sim card which they gave me on the 6th oct is not being accepted by the system.. They give a new sim card assuring me that if I send my id proof, it would be activated within one hour.. Two days later after seeing no change in the status of the sim, i visit the branch again and they say that the system doesnt accept even this sim card.. Im right now in Chattisgarh with a deactivated sim card facing so many issues.. I trusted the network and decided to carry this even on Roaming.. And now I'm stuck up with a deactivated sim card since almost 15days now.. Ridiculous service!! This is the worst service provided by any customer care!! Im really disappointed and irritated right now!! I regret being an Idea customer and that's why I'm writing this mail to u assuming that atleast now the query would be sorted!! Im so frustrated that I just want to port to a better network, i need my sim to be activated ASAP!! I'm done with this irritating network! Kindly help me on getting this sim activated. My alternate contact number is [protected].. I'm stuck on roaming with a deactivated sim!! This is really the worst service ever provided by anyone.. You should realise how many problems the customer faces on not being able to use the sim for about 15days and that too on Roaming!! No man can survive in the present world with no means of communication!!! This shows how irresponsible the company is.. No sense of responsibility at all!! Such a waste of time!! Terrible! Highly disappointed as the service centres are just not living up to their expectations!! Assuming that you will look after the issue and provide me a resolution ASAP without dragging the issue further as this is totally against the policy, TREATING CUSTOMERS FAIRLY .. This is just not how u treat a customer.. Trust me if this continues, you might end up losing a lot of loyal customers! Regards, Puja Chopra.

                              Dear Sir/Madam, This is with reference to my mobile bill dated 16-Oct -2014 for [protected]. There has been an unrelated charges of Rs.100 billed under SMS-MT category, These charges have been addedon my previous bills also. I spoke to Idea customer care personnel on 24thOct 2014, and informed them about the charges. I was informed that this is charged for somedownload, since the answer was appropriate I asked the call to be escalated toa supervisor who can give more details. The call was then escalated to Ms.Pallavi, Floor supervisor, she informed that these charges are for a game thathas been downloaded called “Skill Derby”. I then informed her that I have not sent any message todownload the game nor the games exists on my handset and then asked her towaive of the charges because this has been happening since a couple of monthand I do not wish to pay for any servicesthat I have not utilized. However she was reluctant and told that the charges cannotbe waived off. Since I have monitored my calls and messages for the entiremonth I am aware that I have not sent any messages are downloaded any gamecalled “Skill Derby”. I informed Pallavi that I would not pay the bill untilthe amount is waived off and I furtherwould discontinue using Idea’ services. This I believe is a cheap tactic to make people pay and getmore income, and I would recommend the higher authorities to look into thisunethical practice and take necessary action before more customers are fleeced from their hard earned money.                                 Hi Team, I am very old customer of idea, And I am using postpaid connection more than 6 years and my mobile number is [protected]. I receved a call from idea on 06/10/2014 morning that we are offering new prepaid connection for 2 year validity plan with 10 paisa for local calls and 30 paisa for std calls for RS. 650 and this offer will be valid for two years. He gave me two very nice number [protected] and [protected], Rs. 650 for each number and extra Rs. 500 for [protected]. At 4 pm their executive comes at my place and give me two brand new idea sim, he told his name Sushil and his contact number was [protected], he gave me the idea's printed amount receipt and application forms copy for both numbers. He told me that number will be activated in next two hours. The person who was the senior member of their team told his name Amit and his mobile number was [protected]. After this no one pick up their phone. half of time their number is switched of and rest of time they don't pick up the calls. They have team of people. I buy a lot of time numbers by telecallers but this is the first time I have face the fraud on name of Idea. These persons must be fro any idea distributor's or dealers because they offered me these numbers which is not activated them and have all the documents like application forms and idea payment receipt. I have these with me. Could you take legal action against them, because you can easily traced their number and can catch them with the help of police. They took my documents for this.                                     A day before a message from idea cellular came that you have 2 days remaining validity for your mobile number. When i asked the customer care service of the company they refused to tell me the data balance and said that data pack is active and you can use it for two days. When i started using they deducted my balance also the customer care service is behaving rudely.

                                      Hi sir, I facing the problem with IDEA cellular, They bared my outgoing service's without any intimation, When I called to customer service they are saying I crossed the credit limit of 1000 R's and they are saying I used around 2344 R's then I asked them what are the details I used for 2344rs they replayed that they will provide the details only after bill generated

                                      if they provide the details on 1st novembor why they barred my services on 16th of october

                                      if i crossed my 1000rs credit limit why they have not barred on 1001rs


                                      I not a default customer and i am paying the bills regularly without ANY backlogs


                                      without providing the details what i have used how can they bare my ougoing services
