    Since no adequate information is provided in IRCTC, I mistakenly changed my mobile from Indian to Singapore (am a foreign citizen RESIDING PERMANENTLY in India, have OCI). ( As an Indian resident, I should have remained with my Indian mobile number and not changed to Foreign mobile number)

    IRCTC site does not clearly tell you who should do what for registering?
    1) Indian passport holders who are NRI
    2) Foreign citizens who hold OCI but stay abroad
    3) Foreign citizens who hold OCI, BUT RESIDENTS OF INDIA ( like me)
    4) NRI becoming Non-NRI ( change Foreign mobile number to Indian mobile number)
    5) Foreigner becoming Indian citizen or full time resident ( change Foreign mobile number to Indian mobile number)

    By this one move, I LOST everything:

    1) the Money in IRCTC wallet (Rs 10, 000) registered under my Indian mobile number :This was no more accessible.

    2) No longer possible to do train reservations for self, I was always routed to GROUP BOOKINGS only? WHY ? The above happened about 1-2 months ago.

    3) I again tried today, IRCTC website asked me to validate my foreign mobile number: I tried to do this some 8-10 times over 45 minutes, but always UNSUCCESSFUL and I have given up. After looking at this complaint site, I understand that this has been a long pending problem, with no resolution in sight.

    4) As a permanent Indian Resident in India, I want to go back to using my Indian mobile instead of landing in this huge mess, where I have lost my Rs10, 000 in the wallet tied to my Indian number.

    5) I am STUCK now as I cannot book my railway tickets, nor get back my Rs 10, 000 stuck in the wallet !!!

    Is there any help possible?

      I had filled a tdr for one passenger because all confirmed passenger not travel but the refund not come yet. I request you to please do my refund as soon as possible

            I tried to login to my account on phone app. I used the correct password, but it asks me to verify mobile no. and email id. Mobile no. Got verified but OTP never arrived on email. I tried this multiple times on phone and pc. Nothing is working. Please resolve this issue soon.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I booked two confirmed train (Train no- 12554) tickets for journey date 4th April 2024. PNR for both tickers are as [protected] & [protected]. I received a message one day before of my journey date that train 12554 has been diverted and will not touch my destination (SV). Even 4 hours before of my scheduled journey time. i received the same message that train has been diverted and will not touch my destination. I checked the PNR status and i found the status that "This halt has been deleted from the train route". I have attached all message and portal screenshot for evidence.

                    I received one another message just before two hours of my journey time that train will run through normal route till the time it was too late to get ready and catch the train and i had already booked another ticket in another train (Train No- 22412, PNR- [protected]) based on previous communication.

                    Because of this miscommunication from railways, i could not be boarded to train.

                    I am looking for your assistance to get my TDR approved for both of my PNR's [protected] & [protected].

                      I have booked ticket from H NIZAMUDDIN (NZM) to AGRA CANTT (AGC) for 17th February, 2024 for 2 passengers. But train was running late for more than 3 Hours. I couldn't cancelled the ticket, as chart was prepared already. So I have applied for TDR and travelled by road instead. Now TDR status is updated as TDR repudiate and reason is "NO EDR HAS BEEN FED AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PNR AS PARTY HAS TRAVELLED" which is not true.

                      Please look into the matter and kindly take necessary step for refund.

                        I have booked ticket of 30th March 2024 from Nagpur to Pune on 7th January 2024 the ticket was not booked but the amount of Rs. 2546/- was deducted from my account but, I haven't received the refund amount yet the bank reference Id is [protected] in which amount has been credited from my account, Kindly resolve my query.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          My name is Proloy Kumar Dutta, and I am writing to request the reactivation of my IRCTC account, which has been disabled. I use this account for booking tickets for myself, my family, and sometimes for friends as well. I have only one email address and mobile number associated with this account.

                          I recently contacted “[protected]@irctc.co.in” regarding the activation of my account, and I was advised to create a new ID with an alternate email address and mobile number. When I inquired about the reason for the deactivation, I was informed that my user ID, "pkdutta" is inactive due to a 22/RPF case under section 143 of the Railway Act, related to multiple user ID creation. (Ref: IRCTC – Ticket ID 18509628 dt.25/02/2024)

                          I want to clarify that I have never used my email address or mobile number to create user IDs for myself or anyone else. I have no information about this case and would appreciate it if you could provide me with more details. I kindly request you to reactivate my IRCTC account as I am facing many difficulties in traveling due to its deactivation.

                            Refund not provided for cancelled ticket

                            My train against PNR [protected] was cancelled and as per IRCTC they have issued refund on 5th feb'24 and same got credited to my bank on 7th feb'24. However this amount has never been received by my name, I shared my bank account statement and written confirmation by my bank that they have not received the mentioned amount against the URN number provided to me.
                            But after providing all those details, IRCTC kept harassing me by asking...

                            Dear Sir,

                            I had filed a TDR against PNR No. [protected] due to reason that the train (22868) was delayed beyond 8 hours and the passengers (AK Jain & Rashmi Jain, both Senior citizen) did not travel.

                            A confirmation E-mail was sent by IRCTC on 16.01.2024 at 5.18 Hours. Relevant part of the E-mail received is reproduced below -

                            QUOTE -
                            We wish to inform that your request for refund against PNR Number [protected] for reason Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled., has been received and the Reference No for this is :[protected].

                            The TDR refund case has been registered with[protected] on[protected]:18:34.147 and forwarded to the Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds null to process refund through Enhanced Coaching Refund System of Indian Railways (ECRS) under the present commercial rules. The details of the eligibility etc. of TDR refund is given in the Indian Railway Refund Rules https://contents.irctc.co.in/en/Refundrule2015.pdf.

                            However, please note that the decision about the acceptance / rejection or amount of refund will be taken by the concerned Zonal Railways as per extant Refund rules of Indian Railways and not by IRCTC.

                            This mail is also copied to the Zonal Railways handling your TDR case :[protected]@secr.railnet.gov.in.

                            You will be intimated by mail about the decision of the concerned Zonal Railways for your TDR request. You can also view the status online under TDR History.

                            UNQUOTE.

                            The fact of delay in train running was confirmed by IRSMSA through repeated messages on 10th and 11th January, 2024. Copy of messages received from IRSMSA is attached as image file.

                            Till date I have not received the refund amount. Being a senior citizen I am always in need of hard earned money, and it is expected that IRCTC settles the claim of all bonafide customers on priority, specially the senior citizens.

                            It is requested to settle the refund amount without further delay as the matter is already delayed for more than 3 weeks.

                            Thanking you in anticipation of prompt response and settling the grievance asap.

                                I booked in EV and am traveling in train at the moment. The complaint is :

                                1. EV is supposed to be at the end of the train, so that we get a all round view. But today in Train Number 11008 it has been placed first bogie after engine.

                                2. We had problem loading it and had to run from one end to another to board the train in time as we saw on reaching the end that bogie is not there.

                                3. Since it is placed behind the engine there is NO VIEW to front or behind.

                                4... There is excessive noise of rain engine blowing horn almost every minute.

                                This amounts to deficiency in service.

                                In view of above, a full refund may please be processed and added to my wallet.

                                  Edr repudiate

                                  I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and frustration regarding a recent train journey with EDR REPUDIATE, which was scheduled for 22/02/2024 on the 02139 from CSMT to Busawal.

                                  Unfortunately, the train was delayed for more than three hours, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my travel plans. This extended delay not only inconvenienced me personally but also reflects poorly on the reliability and punctuality...

As per irctc refund status, it shows that "Refund not credited to your account due to account closed/card expired, etc. Kindly communicate with your bank" Then I called my bank they said my account is active and nothing wrong with your account I also had a talk...
