Subject: Refund of fare for PNR nos. [protected] & [protected]

Reference: IRCTC complaint ticket Id nos. – 17088041 dated Oct 15, 2023; 17170764 dated October 23, 2023; 17235300 & 17434166 dated Nov 18, 2023

Dear sir,
The issue is concerning refund of full fare for PNR nos. [protected] & [protected] on DOJ Oct 10, 2023 from boarding station Varanasi (BSB) to Gaya; by train no. 13010 scheduled to start on Oct 09, 2023 at 20:55 hrs from the source station Rishikesh (YNRK). Since train 13010 was diverted between Ayodhya and Asansol (during Sept 18 – Oct 15, 2023 which included our DOJ Oct 10, 2023) and not touching boarding station on the DOJ as well as destination station, the TDRs were filed on Oct 10, 2023 for both PNRs with reason “train diverted and train not touching boarding station”. However, both the TDRs were rejected giving the reason – “Invalid TDR Timestmap : TRAIN CANCEL”. Refer Annexures - 1 & 2.

1. PNR status enquiry checked on Sep 20, 2023 on the webpage of indianrail.gov.in clearly mentioned, “This halt has been deleted from the train route”. Refer Annexure - 3 & 4.
2. Two messages were sent by IRSMSA on the DOJ Oct 10, 2023, which mentioned status of our PNRs as “Charting Done”. This confirmed that train was not cancelled. The details under tab of “Booked Tickets” on the webpage of IRCTC also mentioned charting status of these PNRs as “Chart prepared”. Refer Annexure - 5, 6 & 7.
3. Further, detailed running history (as available on the webpage of Indian Railways) proves that train 13010 was running on diverted route between Ayodhya and Asansol and neither touching the boarding station Varanasi BSB nor the destination station Gaya during Sept 18 – Oct 15, 2023, which included the DOJ Oct 10, 2023 for our PNRs. Refer Annexures - 8 & 9.
4. The complete running history of train 13010 (extracted from the App of Indian Railways website) mentioned that train departed from the source station Rishikesh YNRK on Oct 09, 2023 at 22:19 hrs (instead of scheduled 20:55 hrs i.e. with a delay of 1h 24m). The running history also mentioned on the top banner that train 13010 was diverted between Ayodhya and Asansol and not touching Varanasi BSB the boarding station on the DOJ Oct 10, 2023 as well as the destination station Gaya. Refer Annexures - 10 through 26.
5. As clarified above at para 2, the two messages were sent by IRSMSA on Oct 10, 2023 confirming the final status of both the PNRs as “charting done”, which proves that the train 13010 was not actually cancelled. Had the train 13010 been cancelled then IRSMSA would have sent the message about cancellation of train in advance. In fact, no message was sent by IRSMSA about train cancellation. Since, the train 13010 was not cancelled but was running on diverted route (as per running history available on website of Indian Railways) and neither touching boarding station nor touching destination, therefore, TDRs for both the PNRs were filed with the correct reason “Train diverted and not touching boarding station”. Hence, TDRs were rejected wrongly. Even if it could be established with the documentary proof by Indian Railways that train was cancelled then also the full fare should have been refunded back automatically as per rules.
I need help to resolve the issue of full refund.

        Money deducted from bank account but not credited in r wallet UTS app

        I went to recharge my UTS (app) wallet (R-Wallet) on 29/10/2023 for ₹265/-. I recharged through the "Google Pay" app, and money of the same amount got debited from my bank account. But it's not credited to my UTS wallet yet. I have refreshed the app so many times, but it remains the same. Please solve this issue.

        I have booked a retiring room on bilaspur station at 05.00am on 06 nov 2023 from online irctc website.
        So my money was debited but showing that room was not booked and settlement requested.
        But my money was not refunded till now i want my money back.

            I have booked ticket bearing Booking transaction ID: [protected] on dated 06th October 2023 for an amount of Rs.5, 785 through my UPI id via Phone pay.
            Whereas my booking was failed but the amount debited from my account but after several follow up railway denying the receipt and also Phone pay denying to pay as they have paid to railway.

              I was booked the ticket on 18.09.2023 from 'Vadodara" to "Dader" against the PNR [protected] and I got sms my train was late more than 3 hour's.
              I have filed the TDR but my reason was different my TDR has been rejected.

              I have send the many mail to railway however they are not ready to provide my refund or re-open my TDR so please look in to

                    Dear Sir/Madam, I had booked a ticket from PGT to QLN journey date 1OCT2023, but the train got late from more than 8hours.I had filed the TDR on the same day at 01-OCT-2023 17:20:44HRS.The status of TDR showing CR Repudiate.I was waiting for the train but the train got late so much so I have filled the TDR little late.Please help me on this asap.                         Hi Team,

                        I booked 2 tickets in 3rd AC of AVADH ASSAM EXP (15910) PNR: [protected] having travel date 17-Oct-2023 from KGG to NJP. Passenger's name is Gaurav Raj and Nikita Kumari The train was running late for more than 3 hours so I filed TDR against my PNR before the scheduled departure from the boarding station and travelled to NJP in a different train on the same day. I received an email from IRCTC that the TDR is repudiated. Kindly help me to get this case reopened and refund my credit back.

                          This is to notify and inform the department that, I and my family faced a quite an issue in the catering service as our prepaid food service was not served on time, and when asked, the service guy said that the food was finished but he will serve the tea which was by default in our meal plan. Upon asking again and again he served 3 veg thali with missing items (the plate did not contain all the items that was supposed to be served) whereas we booked 2 non veg thali and 1 veg thali. This is truly not acceptable as we didn't get served even after boarding the train during lunch hours.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    With reference to the above PNR, I have booked a ticket from Ranchi to Dumka on 20/09/2023 with WL3, Train No.-18619.

                                    I have received a message from Indian Railway regarding cancellation of train just before 4 hours of departure (screenshot attached) (Time- 17:33). Actual departure time is 21:30 hrs. Chart was not prepared till time.

                                    After that I have done an alternate mode of travel for my journey.

                                    Now just 25 minutes before departure (Time- 21:06 hrs), I received message regarding chart preparation (Screenshot attached) and restoration of train No.- 18619 (screenshot attached).

                                    I was either unable to cancel my ticket or file TDR.

                                    You are requested to refund my amount regarding this issue.

                                      HI Team,

                                      I had a ticket on 3rd Oct from Nagpur to Pune. Please refer below PNR No and Train Number: AZAD HIND EXP (12130)PNR: [protected] .

                                      Train was late by 12 hrs and I had Raised TDR on 3 Oct 2023 | 02:08PM And Train actual arrival time was 3:55PM and i raised TDR before that and planned not to travel by train as train was late.

                                      Now TDR STatus is showing CR REPUDIATE and didn't get any refund. pls look into this
