"I recently encountered a series of issues with a booking through MakeMyTrip, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. Despite the platform's claim of 24/7 customer support, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone via phone calls for assistance. When I did manage to connect with a representative, named Shivani Chatham, the support provided was shockingly unhelpful. She repeated the same information without addressing my specific queries or offering any viable solutions.

What's more, despite there being a window of opportunity to change flight dates, Shivani was not proactive in assisting me. This lack of assistance meant that I had to resort to rebooking another flight entirely, further exacerbating the situation.

It's disappointing to see MakeMyTrip excel in facilitating bookings but falter so greatly in providing adequate support for queries, cancellations, and refunds. There's a clear need for improvement in customer service standards, including greater availability, effective communication, and proactive assistance.

MakeMyTrip should strive to be more helpful, communicate properly, and provide alternative options when issues arise, even when they fall outside of the typical time constraints for changes. Customers should feel supported throughout their journey, not left to navigate complex issues alone."

    I was doing a flight booking payment which is credited to makemytrip, but my booking is not confirmed and the amount is deducted from my account.

      I had booked a connecting flight from guwahati to bombay, which was connecting, had a stop at Bangalore through make my trip, the flight was vistara. Vistara cancelled the flight after it was delayed for more than 12 hours. According to the mail sent to me by vistara, I am eligible for a full refund.
      Make my trip called me today, dated, 25/04/24 and has stated that i will receive only 700rs for this cancellation as it was a connecting flight. And the airlines had paid them only 1000 rs but according to the mail by the airlines, they have sent the full amount.

      After waiting in the airport for nearly 12 hours and then facing cancellation, had to book a new flight again. Make my trip is harrasing me by paying only 1/4th of what i paid

          I had booked 4 tickets on 30th March 2024 for Delhi to Sitamarhi whose PNR No. [protected] (AC 3 Tier), out of which 3 tickets came in RAC and one ticket remained waiting due to which I had to face a lot of problems. I have filed TDR but I have not received the refund amount yet.

              Kashmir trip sold with wrong information

              3rd class hotels given in the name of 3 to 4 star property

              gandola trip charges taken but not given not informed on time as well before trip
              tulip garden visit not given as promised in pkg nor infomed on time

                      I am extremely unhappy at the poor service of MMT and plan to sue this company causing me mental harassment and inconvenience while travelling with my family and ruining our overseas trip to India.

                      I twice made booking recently for stay at hotel Radisson Blu Greater Noida
                      and both time it failed due to a technical glitch at their end initiating an automatic refund which I never requested. Not only this the deficiency in service by MMT caused me extreme harassment and inconvenience. They charged me both the time on my international credit card in full thus blocking the funds which I needed to use on my trip. I am now told that the refund can take up to 12 business days to show on my account . I will be contacting appropriate authorities in India to initiate an action against this company. They have zero customer support. PLEASE STAY AWAY USING THEM.

                        I recently booked a stay at what I thought was a nice hotel called Hotel Himalaya View through MMT for my parents' anniversary. But when they got there, it turned out to be more like a simple lodge than a proper hotel. Even though it was advertised as a 3-star place and cost around 3.2K for a night, it wasn't up to scratch.

                        I trusted MMT and didn't check the reviews beforehand. But my parents had a really bad time there. There was no backup power, the room heater didn't work properly, and the room wasn't warm enough even though they wore jackets inside. They tried talking to the staff, but they were rude and didn't care. It got so bad that they had to find another hotel at 6 in the evening just to have a decent night's sleep.

                        When I told MMT about all this, they offered a voucher for just 800 rupees. That's not enough to make up for what my parents went through on their anniversary.

                        The problem is that MMT advertised the place as something it wasn't. I think we deserve a full refund because of all the trouble we went through.

                          I booked the flight using MAKE MY TRIP from Bangalore to Kuwait departing on 2 February at 21:35 hrs but the flight delayed to depart and finally landed to Mumbai at 1:00am instead of 23:20 hrs.
                          The next flight was at 2:15am, my baggage was not transferred so I must claim and head to kuwait flight but I couldn’t make it.
                          The layover was 3 hrs but ended up to get the layover for only 1 hour, if it was direct connecting flight without baggage claim I would have somehow made it but that wasn’t the case, they negligently asked me to claim the baggage at Mumbai airport and then board the kuwait flight also the gate closes 20 minutes before departure so kuwait airlines deliberately left me and travelled, no care was taken to passengers.

                          I have to pay additional 40000rs to catch the next flight to kuwait, I lost my money and time. They just frustrated me unnecessarily.

                          I am just asking MAKE MY TRIP to give me my full refund for all the inconvenience I had and the struggles I have been through.

                            I had booked a bus ticket in sb Travels from make my trip. It's been 10 days.i didn't get my money. I paid 1200 rupees for a trip from hyderabad to pune for 14th feb, 2024.but the bus operator cancelled the ticket without any intimation.Now i need my money back. The HELPline numbers are useless and not working. I tired of asking all of you.. ###!!

                              Due to bus late for 2 hrs bus cancelled from my side but paid only 78 rupees refund in amount against 971 rupees. Gujrat travel said from our side all amount refunded but i got only 78 rupees then why this amount received in my account

                                Details of complaint -

                                Used the price lock feature for 3 tickets from London and Mumbai. Price locked the tickets after paying the premium of Rs1200. The feature clearly says that the price is locked for any fluctuations in price for the lock in period.
                                While trying to book the flights on 17th (18th was the expiry for the locked in period), we received a message that the seats are not available and we had to re-book tickets for 10K Rs more.

                                This is a fraud scheme and should be looked at legally as there is absolutely no sense in locking price by paying an amount only to be told later that the price is not available.

                                Also I am seeing a lot of complains in this area and request Makemytrip should be made to pay for this.

                                  I have booked multi city international flights on 8th December 23 and my travel date is on 04/02/2024.
                                  Booking ID: NN7U0GJC3EXK31G91225

                                  MakeMyTrip has cancelled my bookings on 30/01/2024 without my consent and even there was no confirmation before cancellation.

                                  I book the ticket with 26, 562 (which they cancelled) and for same dates now the price is 67, 456.

                                  As per discussion with the MMT supervisor they clearly stated that we can't give you alternative options or any commitment and now they are suggesting to spend 67, 456 for no mistake.

                                  Very unprofessional practice and services.

                                    Hi,

                                    I booked flight on MMT website (Krabi to Bangkok) using FLYWITHCITI code, where I am supposed to get 1 night on any international hotel for =2 days booking. I have to use the booking id of the flight as coupon code for the hotel booking.

                                    Attached are the offer details.

                                    The FLYWITHCITI option was provided in the MMT app along with the benefits and details were confirmed by the Makemytrip app while doing the flight booking.

                                    While I am trying to use the booking id of the flights as coupon code for hotel bookings, I am not getting any night free accommodation offer as was committed during my booking.

                                    Note: I have spoken for 10 days now with MMT executives where my call has just been transferred with absolutely no intent to provide any solution. Many staff (Anurag Yadav, Ramlakhan Verma, Vivek)

                                    I have been thoroughly harassed with these calls and absolutely lost my mental peace with the treatment of the staff.

                                    Raising it here to get some fair treatment.

                                      Hi team,

                                      I had booked a return flight for two passengers on 3rd December for 15th Jan of Bangalore to Kolkata and return on 29th January 2024.

                                      On the 11th of Dec I had called MMT to change date of my fellow passenger Aritri Dhar from 15th Jan to 18th Dec 2023. While making the change MMT allegedly cancelled the return flight of the passenger and till date they are saying they are not able to validate who cancelled the booking. I would like to confirm that indigo airlines, the airlines with whom the flight was booked has already mailed me with confirmation saying it’s an agency cancelled booking, that is, cancelled by MMT. PNR for the same is VRMRQC.

                                      On the 1st of Jan again, Indigo airlines by mistake had cancelled my flight from bangalore to kolkata for 15th Jan . Passenger name - Avaratanu Rakshit. Indigo immediately had refunded the amount to mmt but till date I haven’t received the amount. PNR for the same is M4NQVE.

                                      I would like to complain against MMT so that strict action is taken for their delay and lack of professionalism to refund the amount to customer. Also since I had to make the booking once again it costed me more than what the flight ticket costed me initially hence I would want MMT to compensate for the same.

                                      Currently Shivam Kumar, a supervisor at MMT is handling my case. But I am not getting proper support and would want strict actions to be taken.
