We had booked a cab from Dahisar East to Lonavala for which we prepaid the estimated fare of Rs. 2394. When the cab reached the destination, I got a message from Ola that we have debited an amount of Rs 7243 from your account. Then the driver asked us for a cash of Rs 4800 because the app had miscalculated the km reading for whatever reason. We refused to pay and tried to reach customer care. The trips section in the app didn’t have any way to call/message customer care. The number given online turned out to be spam. The driver was able to connect to Partner care - I spoke to the lady, explained the situation but she said we’ll have to pay the amount mentioned and then ask for refund later. I asked her for a valid customer care number but she said they cannot provide that. The driver said to us that if we didn’t pay him, the money would be deducted from him which we thought was unfair so we paid him the amount.

I tweeted this issue out to Olacabs and they replied that someone from the team will call me in 48 hours but it’s been 15 days and no one has reached out to me.

Actual distance travelled in trip : 113km
Actual estimated fare before travel : 2394 Rs

Distance calculated by ola app : 386 km
Total money paid to ola : 2394 + 4800 cash= 7194

Ola has took 4800 ra extra.

      We had booked can for airport and we had requested driver to turn on AC for which he gave following reason :

      Car window is jammed and when we requested again and again then only window was turned up and car AC was on.

      We requested for fan speed increase he asked for booking Mini cab as in Prime sedan he can do only this much. However later when we informed we opted for mini and got sedan and asked to turn on it is turned on.

      Car Dickey was fully occupied and for airport luggage again he asked that we should have booked sedan car.

      We have informed driver that this is completely unprofessional and way to show market monopoly to behave in any way they like.

      Pls address to resolve as Ola service are getting bad for overall customer experience dispite overcharging.

        4th May -There was a payment issue as the cc payment mode was changed by Ola app automatically to cash and I was dragged for payment by the driver and he made sure I fill gas in his car for Rs 600/- Despite Ola creating outstanding against my account, purely unjustified and painful, will never use Ola again

          I booked an Ola outstation ride from Chandigarh Airport on 24th May at 4 pm for Darlaghat (HP), which is 126 km travel in all and the expected fare shown was 3024 INR plus toll and parking charges additional. On reaching the destination at around 8:15 pm, i was charged 4529 INR for 198 km and in addition to that was charged 2275 INR for toll and parking charges. I have paid 4804 INR through G-pay and 2000 INR by cash as driver asked for it to pay fuel at petrol pump.
          I paid it after some argument as i didn't wanted to create a mess in the residential area i am staying in.
          It is just impossible to drive through hill areas at peak hours to 198km in just 4 hours and on top of that its just impossible to have a amount of 2275 INR as toll and parking charges in just 126 km span in india for a cab.
          Total amount charged was 6804 INR on showing 3024 INR initially.
          I just want to have a look into the matter and refund the amount which has been deducted inaccurately and unjustified.

          Can we trust this government site, that we will get the right justice ?

            Travel date:13/05/2022
            Invoice amount: Rs.3914 which included Rs.340 for parking/toll charges. I went to a company and so parking was free there. I watched that toll charges were only Rs.120
            The driver took Rs.120
            extra in addition to the bill amount of Rs.3914
            mentioned in invoice. I got the invoice later so I paid Rs.[protected]+120). When I got the invoice, I saw Rs.340 charged. I contacted ola customer care several times but everytime they copy paste same response saying customer has to pay toll charges. My question was why twice which was never answered. I want justice and my money back.

              Sir,

              I have been receiving a number of calls and WhatsApp Messages from Ola asking me to pay dues, although I have paid all the fares directly to the Cab drivers. I have sent to them by return WhatsApp messages the screenshots of my last 7 ride booking details from 18.10.2021 to 22.3.2022 (Copy Attached herewith) that show that I have paid directly to the Cab drivers for all the rides undertaken by me, and there is no dues. Still they have been pestering me continuously by sending WhatsApp Messages and calling from more than 20 different numbers, mentioned below, threatening me to take legal action, and that they will send their persons to my residence. I am a SENIOR CITIZEN of this India and being subjected to inhuman treatment by OLA causing extreme mental harassments.

                The company keeps calling me during work hours even though I have paid my dues,

                they opened up my postpaid account without taking any permission or consent and now they are charging a high amount of money for every ride.

                The Amount of every ride keeps changing when you end the trip.

                  Hi,

                  I have paid cash for two rides as ola drivers not accepting online payment so i paid by cash. But in ola app also the amount was deducted for two rides not reflected the cash paid by me. With out customer interaction how could you deduct the amount?

                  I have made complaint but no reply till now. 4438490 this is the reference number from Zendesk.

                  There is no proper support button or chat or voice assistant in ola app.

                  Please bann this app if they are not ready to serve people properly.

                  I want my amount to be refunded.

                  Lot of people suffering from ola app.

                      I took ola on may 23rd, 12.34pm. Crn [protected].
                      I was charged on my debit card the amount of 259 inr during trip. Then when the ride completed, the driver said that he cannot see the amount paid in his app via debit card and demanded we have to pay cash.
                      I showed him ola message on app where clearly, ola asked to pay via debit card and when i paid the amount was deducted from my bank.
                      He said to take this matter with ola people and demanded we pay cash. We paid cash and got a receipt of cash payment via ola.
                      Now amount of rs 259inr is debited from my pnb account and also we paid cash of 259 inr too for the same trip.
                      When i tried to contact ola repeatedly, i got
                      No help. The app has no useful option to contact them, i tried writing to them and they just keep resolving my issue, when clearly my amount debited is not returned and the issue is not resolved.
                      They ask to provide bank statement but when i do they just resolve the issue without any return or any further talk. There is no contact number either where i can contact them.
                      I have all the proof of cash receipt and amount debited from my account. And also the option that ola provided during my ride to pay via debit card, which, led me to pay via the debit card option.
                      Their app is screwed up and it no where reflected my payment via debit card on the driver or customers app.

                        I have booked ola scooter last year some where around July and paid my advance on 17th of sept 2021 and paid downpayment on 25 of jan 2022 and still my registration process have not been started and i called ola electric many time they ask me to only wait and tgey failed to give me deadline for delivery too

                          N times I have booked Cabs via OLA and the drivers deny to pickup for the available fare. Return they quote triple price and ask us to cancel the ride. What is this robbery? It’s better to shutdown the services!!

                            On 6.5.2022 I with my colleague booked a cab at 11:23am (for official trip) under OLA Rentals for 4 hours. Booking number was CRN[protected].
                            1. First he asked for OTP; he started driving so we thought it is OK. Suddenly he told us booking has not started as yet and we need to give the other OTP as well which we gave believing him (which was actually STOP OTP). That's how he completed our trip within 2 minutes of boarding.
                            2. We complaint in their app but there was no response and they settled complaint without understanding issue. There is no provision in their app to escalate.
                            3. This driver told us that he can still take us to destination. As we were already on car and had little option to get down on flyover we opted to move in same car. He took us to destination.
                            4. When we reached destination; he asked for some cash for CNG and started shouting at us. Forcefully we had to give him Rs 400 CASH as we were getting late for meeting.
                            5. When we returned back to our office in same cab; he started shouting at us and started threatening us with his head rest and asked for more money. We were forced to pay him Rs 1611 money to avoid a difficult situation for ourselves. OLA bill was Rs 1111.
                            I complaint to OLA but very mundane or no response.
                            If it was OLA trip, I want my money back as the whole trip officially ended in 2 minutes; No trip can end in two minutes for Rs1111.
                            I want OLA to respond why OLA did not respond to my first complaint and my further complaints to them regarding misbehavior of driver.
                            If it was not OLA trip; I want my money back from OLA.

                              I had booked a cab on 16/05/22 at 08:49 PM from Hungerford street, Kolkata with two drop locations but to my surprise, after the ride started, it showed the end location only on the driver's phone. (Screenshot added, clearly showing 2 drop locations and only dropped at the final one). As he had to follow the company's rules he dropped us only at the end location and I was charged the entire amount of Rs. 436 by the app.

                              I had to pay the driver the entire amount and then book another cab for the 1st destination at the surged price because it was very late at night and I had no option left. Additionally, I paid triple the cost that night with excessive harassment.

                              When I called OLA consumer care on the 16th of May, to file a complaint about the issue they said it will be resolved within 24 hours they have recorded the complaint but one week went by with no update at all.

                              I called again yesterday[protected] to understand why no action was taken on my case, the complaint was not even filed as stated to me on the previous call. Furthermore, I had to again wait on call for 30 minutes online and then know that nothing can be done since it was an application glitch which they will try to minimise. The employer was very rude and blamed it on me saying that it happened because my app was not updated and I need to bear the entire cost since it was my fault. If that had been the case then why was that featured displayed in the app to me? Secondly, I am using the app for a long time and it was not the first time I added two locations so if my app was not updated it should have happened before as well but it didn't. Lastly, I had to pay for a ride I did not take to one location and as a consumer, I was asking for a solution which is not wrong and the employee saying that nothing can be done is absolutely unfair.

                              This was absolutely unethical behaviour by the company and its employees blaming the customers for a glitch in its own app portal. I did not get my money back and additionally had to face so much harassment for no fault of my own. I would like to bring this matter to the notice of the concerned authorities and get a resolution for the harassment faced by me because of the company.

                                I had a ride in OLA cab ( From my home ( VIVIANA Society CRG Pin code :421204 ) to Mumbai International airport T2 terminal, neither I had changed my location or change the direction shown in the MAP, Driver didn't end the trip as I was getting down from the car. It was said that he ended the trip.
                                Since the payment option was set in OLA money, I thought it would have been done and it will be reflected . I was in rush at the airport to catch my flight
                                but later on I noticed that driver didn't do that and I reported this case as a complaint to customer care portal . Support Case No:[protected]
                                Because of availing the next ride in OLA cab and since the additional amount was reflecting in my account, I had to make that payment thinking that the amount ( RS 234 INR approx. ) will be refunded . It has not been refunded . The reason OLA is giving is not viable .

                                  Ola is not processing my refund for ride #CRN[protected]. Ola requested bank account detail from me to process the refund but till now they have not processed the refund and now they have stopped replying to my emails.
                                  Ola's support team confirmed that they have sent my refund for processing, it's been more than 1 month but still I have not received the refund.

                                    Didn’t opt for any Ola postpaid but for the past one month I am getting messages continuously through various modes of communication (like whatsapp messages, normal messages and also mail messages ) and asking me to pay RS. 1000.

                                    I didn’t activate Ola postpaid nor opted for the same. I have made all payments immediately through cash to drivers directly .

                                    I have also sent mail to Ola team but there is no proper response . Then again I have escalated this issue to next level by sending mail to escalation and grievance team. Then also there is no response as of now.

                                    Everyday getting so many threatening whatsapp messages from different numbers .

                                    I have clearly explained everything on mail and asked to deactivate the Ola postpaid as I have not used anything so far .

                                    Kindly help me to come out of this
                                    Really it’s disturbing me a lot and creating lot of mental pressure

                                      Today I booked ola cab around 6 :15 pm today visit khadakwasala dam 4km from my home location. For this ride initial total fare it was shown 174 rs but when we complete the traval driver ask me to pay 380rs as he said it display total fare from ola online, I can't understand this extra charge how it apply for my ride of 4km distance when I tried raise complain on ola help Desk it shows the message the fare is correct so I want to complain about this.

                                        I tried to call many times every time my call is disconnected from your side.Sir, My ride was started from ashoka gardan to chetak bridge bhopal. Ola charged me 2679₹ for 74.50 km. which is much more than usual. for the ride driver name was Ashok Chouhan. His car was full of dirty and AC was also not working. He made me to change location many times which i did not konw will result in increases in the total fair. He complled me to give him five star rating. how could it be charged more than anything. I want register my complaint against both the driver and the company. it was the CRN[protected] number. date of journey was 21.05.2022.
