Failed Bus ticket booking and payment deducted

I tried booking a Bus ticket on 19/12/24 form Bangalore to Cherthala(20/12/24) for 2 members, I filled in all the details and made the payment through debit card for Rs.8, 817.90.
I received the bank deducted message but the red bus page didnt redirect and i never received the ticket after waiting for hours I tried to reach them through various ways but I didnt get an answer now i have almost waited for 7 days as they had mentioned...

Very poor customer service. No way to contact the customer service related to bill or some thing. We cant chat on our queries. nor can we call th e customer executive. my bus Ticket No.: TTDC66493131 date of Travel 00:10 AM on 22 Dec 2024 and Dropping date and time 10:45 AM on 22 Dec 2024 but in app showing 10:45 23 Dec 2024....

Redbuses refund policy

By mistake I paid for booking bus 4 dec 2024 and and I'looked for cancellation but there no chance of any cancellation and I didn't found any refund which was wrongly payment.

I did not get the seat guarantee refund

I booked a ticket for a train for 24th oct 2024 from thane jn. To Badnera jn. I tried their new feature of seat guarantee. I got alloted an RAC seat, which meant that I was eligible for a refund of the extra seat guarantee premium that I paid. Refund for non arrival of booked bus

We booked thirteen passengers bus tickets from three different accounts for a rsrtc 3+2 non ac seater bus. The journey was scheduled at 7:00 pm, from Ajmer to Jaipur from Ajmer rsrtc bus stand. Ticket Price: Rs. 2090 (inclusive of GST)
Boarding Point: Bangalore Majestic, Opposite Sree Navanidhi Restaurant
Dropping Point: Chennai Erikari Bus Stop
Dropping Date & Time: 30/09/2024, 06:15 AM
Description of the Issue: During this journey, I experienced a near-death situation along with 39 other passengers (38 passengers + 2 conductors and driver). The air conditioning system failed, reportedly due to a gas leak, which was known to the conductor and driver from the start of the journey but was not communicated to passengers.

Instead of informing us before departure or at the first boarding point, we were only notified after an hour into the journey, well into the night and away from the city. Passengers were left in a closed, overheated environment for 6 to 7 hours, leading to extreme discomfort and safety concerns.

Despite raising this complaint during the journey, I have only received a token compensation of Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 per ticket) from Red Bus. This is unacceptable, especially given the severity of the situation and the danger posed to all passengers.

Furthermore, the customer support from Red Bus has been inadequate, with no escalation options available. I have encountered long wait times and unhelpful responses, with a single representative managing multiple calls.

Request for Resolution: I am seeking a full reimbursement of the ticket price and additional compensation for the distress and danger caused by this experience. I believe that both the operator and Red Bus hold responsibility for this incident, and it is imperative that passengers are informed of any issues prior to travel.

This complaint is being raised to protect consumer rights and to seek appropriate accountability from Red Bus and Padmavathi Travels.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I hope for a prompt resolution.

    Refund amount not received

    Bus ticket was booked for my friend from chennai to madurai and due to change of plans I cancelled the ticket. The refund amount was inisiated but not yet receive into my upi account. The refund amount is Rs. 1181.3/-. The ticket was cancelled a day prior to the trip as well. Kindly look into it and let me know the update.

    Complaining about Incorrect live track location & Wrong pickup location

    Hi

    I have booked 2 bus ticket (Karur - Chennai - VETRI TRAVELS) on redbus on 09/09/2024. The boarding time & location is 9.05 pm, Karur bypass roundana.

    I have reached the boarding location around 8.45pm. When I checked the live tracking of the bus, Its showing 30-50km away from the boarding point. & also the bus route is not meeting my boarding point.

    Unauthorised change of seats by Krish travels Coimbatore- three hours delay

      I've booked a ticket from Rajahmundry to Hyderabad on 12.08.2024, 8.30pm in KVR tours and travels on 7.08.2024 evening. At around 9pm I tried to cancel my ticket as I couldn't take the trip due to inevitable circumstances. But the bus operator is not ready to refund my amount as he's saying that once the ticket is booked, it cannot be cancelled. This point is not mentioned in any of the booking and payment pathway. Please look into the issue.

        The bus got stuck and did not move, causing all the passengers to wait and use their own money to travel to Bangalore. I need a refund since the bus did not reach its destination and got stuck in the ghat section, making it immovable. Even the bus driver and cleaner did not respond, and no alternative bus was arranged. So, I need the amount as soon as possible.
        Even though bus driver knows that bus having big problem. But still from yesterday they are running it.
        This is totally unfair.and you see his negligence.

          I traveled from palani to Bangalore at 06/07/2024 via redbus ticket number -TT[protected].
          I have booked for 11 window seat .ofter boarding They gave me seat no 8 non window seat .
          Usually I prefer window seat only for my comfortable sleep while traveling on bus.
          Bus operator changed my seat i asked help from redbus the responded.
          It was made me to stress because sleep less night.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I experienced on MM Travels bus from Delhi to Jammu on 29th May 2024. The bus, scheduled to depart from Ambala Flyover at 4:30 PM and arrive at Narwal Bus Stand, Jammu, at 11:00 PM, failed to meet basic service standards.

            Details of the Issues Faced:
            1. Misbehavior by Staff: The bus staff displayed rude and unprofessional behavior towards me and other passengers, with particularly disrespectful conduct towards a lady passenger, which is wholly unacceptable.
            2. Non-functional Air Conditioning: The air conditioning system was not operational throughout the journey, making the ride unbearably uncomfortable, especially considering the long distance.
            3. Unpleasant Odor: The bus had a persistent foul smell, indicating poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness.
            4. Defective Switches: Several switches, including those for lights and fans, were not working, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
            5. Overloaded Bus: The bus was overloaded beyond its capacity, compromising the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
            6. Unscheduled Stop and Forced Bus Change: At an unfamiliar location, passengers were abruptly forced to change to another bus without prior notice or explanation, which was highly distressing.
            7. Drop at Unknown Location: Instead of being dropped off at the scheduled Narwal Bus Stand, Jammu, at 11:00 PM, we were left at an unknown place and were forced to change the bus, adding further to our distress and inconvenience.
            8. The behavior of conductors was worst. They were shouting on each passenger and were ready to beat if we were trying to raise the concern.
            9. We were going to unknown place and our phone was out of charging and the bus had damaged socket which were not working.
            10. The AC of the bus was not working properly.
            11. We were dropped at Ludhiana at 10 PM and were forced to change the bus. We were with kids and ladies and were dropped on unknown place. It was completely unsafe with ladies and children.
            12. We were dropped at unknown place. And were asked to go to the railway station in auto.
            13. In another bus we were forced to be seated three persons on 1 seat and were asked i[censored] can’t adjust then we will leave u here itself.
            14. We were dropped at Jammu at 5.15 AM on 29.06.24. We were not able to attend the conference on time.
            The series of issues mentioned above reflect extremely poorly on the quality of service provided by MM Travels. Such experiences not only cause inconvenience but also pose serious safety risks to passengers.

            Resolution Sought:
            I request a thorough investigation into these incidents and appropriate action against the responsible staff members. Additionally, I seek a full refund of my ticket fare due to the unacceptable conditions and treatment endured during the journey. I also urge your company to implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all passengers.

            It was the responsibility of redbus to keep the journey safe and on time. In case of any causality with female passengers, redbud stands responsible. Kindly take appropriate action. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and inform me of the steps you intend to take to address these issues. I look forward to a prompt resolution and a written response within the next 14 days.

              I booked a ticket from Chennai to Kottayam for May 25, 2024 via redbus, opting for an AC bus due to the scorching heat. However, the bus provided was a non-AC vehicle, which was extremely congested, despite advertising as an AC bus during booking. Additionally, the bus is running two hours late. Now, we are stuck in Kochi due to a turbo issue with the bus. This lack of respect for passengers' time and comfort is unacceptable. I will never book through Redbus again and plan to take legal action.
