My mother sent a courier to Pradip Haria to Vienna, US on 11th Oct, 2008 (Airway Bill No. 1533) and till date (25th Oct, 2008), Mr Pradip has not yet received the parcel.
On contacting the company Trackon Couriers Pvt Ltd (Shop No. 3, Shrrenath Plaza, L T Road, Opp Hotel Prashant, MulundE, Mumbai -400081, India), we get pure lies like 'We tried to call them on Friday, they didn't respond' (inspite the fact that Mr Pradip's mobile number was given to them - if the courier company had tried to contact him, he would have surely reverted back to them). Rajendra Kadam and Rashmi Kadam have made it very clear that it is not a case of non-delivery due to un-availability of the receiving party.
I do not expect this courier company to give us a suitable refund. I don't think that in India, we can hold people responsible for their services to that extent without going throgh hell ourselves first.
But I do want to make sure that people be aware of this and other such companies and choose their service providers wisely.

local courier delivery delay — pathetic service
Dear Sir,A courier has been sent from Calcutta on 25th Oct 08 for me at mumbai on the basis of your tracking it was out for delivery since last four days. Ipersonally visited your Borivili office on 31 oct and was assured that delivery will take place today. They made me talk to one delivery man whose tone itself suggested his attitude to work as he was a govt employee.
Today again i visited the office the manager assured that he will personally sort out the issue but so far at 4 pm no result.The telephone lines are also not getting connected such a lethargic service at your DTDC SERVICES.
A local courier delivery taking one weeks time you are going to break record of postal services. Are you all not having well paid staff or happy the way things are going on. Remember i will be changing over all my courier services to some other ones and will tell others too. WAKE UP !and reply please on the action taken
