Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd — forceful physical presence of policy owners presence required at the time of maturity of policy for submission of papers.

I am vijay shamji savla holding birla sun life insurance policy no.[protected] maturing on 17/03/2018. My birla sun life policy was maturing on 17/03/2018 hence i sent relevant papers along with cancelled cheque and aadhar card xerox with my messenger to birla sunlife’s office at naupada thane on 06/03/2018. The branch didn’t accept papers sent through messenger and insisted on policy owner’s physical presence required for submission of papers. Nowhere in the policy document it is expressely agreed upon by me to such clause. Than how can birla sun life insist physical presence of policy holder for submission of papers and threaten absence of presence will not proceed payment of claim. I physically went to their office much against my principle.
