Hi,
On 24-april-2017, there was an offer on my Airtel app for Rs 399 recharge with 70 days validity. After I recharged the same offer I got a message saying recharge successfully validity 50 days.
When I called customer care they refused to grant 70 days validity saying they have withdrawn the offer.

My complaint is if they are showing in the app they should fulfill the promise. If they want to withdraw they should have removed or updated the recharge packs and validity information in the recharge page.

they are cheats

Hi!

I have used airtel 3g sim since 06 years i have no any trouble when i was in 3g sim. When i got message from offer of 4g sim for 399 recharge 1gb/day 70/56. i did not recharge 70day's due to the offer has been withdrawal after some time. I recharge 399 for 56 days after up gradation from Airtel store. The store executive also promised that its 399 recharge 56 day's 1gb/day.

After recharge i got only 1gb no 1gb/day. i have complain through mail. but no any reply.

When i tried to speak customer care through my airtel number its get sucks my life no option to speak costumer care executive they are simply advertising such a fish market.

Finally I decide I will no be waste money time to Airtel.

Hi.. I have recharged with RC 399 which promises 1GB/day data and unlimited calls for 70 days. But after 1 month i got a message saying that your offer is about to expire. Kindly look into the matter

    Hi,
    My name is manoj prabhakar, i am using airtel prepaid number for several years and just 3 months back thought of converting to postpaid. So i did convert it to postpaid and my plan was 549... The first month bill was perfect and next month i crossed my limit and got disconnected and so in few more days i paid the 3/4th of the amount, but still my number didn't get activated (No incoming and no outgoing) and so i waited for a month and paid the rest amount to complete the bill, and i paid. But still it was in deactive stage only. Last month i got a bill of 549, and got shocked as why i should pay for disconnected service??? I check with nearest outlet they told its my phones problem, then told its the sim problem as in the system it shows activated only., then charged me 25 rupees for a new sim (Airtel showroom).. Now i want some explanation or cancel the charges for the last month bill as the network was disconnected. Please someone help

    You didnt try to contact me, eventhough you have my alternate number. I contacted customer care for this issue, the guy told me to apply for disconnect so that your agent will reach me to resolve this. But none reached and I am not using that number as well as It is not working for now. Literally this is the way you treat your customer ?? Pure laziness of your agents.

    If the problem with Sim / phone means you can't waive the Bill amount for last month. If the service providers (Airtel) problem that your connection got disconnected means you may raise the complaint in consumer court as well as write a letter to service providers (Airtel) with RTI act that they have to answer for it. Eventhough they didnt reply to you letter or case means just complaint to TRAI.

      I am customer from last 10 years. I brought sim & mobile no-[protected] from champa, janjgir, chhatisgarh in 2007. I had change mobile portable in bihar jharkhand in december 2015 at bokaro jharkhand. I have last recharge in february 2017. It was regular in service. But i have suffering no network problem from last 3 days. When i meet your representative at bokaro mall your office today then your representative says that it mobile no is deactivate. How can deactivate services without any information. This mobile no is very important for me. So i request to you sir please solve my problem. Please support me for to be again get this no.

        I was using airtel 549 post paid plan in my 4g handset. When I bought new mobile I have got extra 3gb per month till Dec 2017 using Airtel app. After one month I have received another offer for 10gb per month for 3 months. So I would be getting a total of 16gb per month. I changed to new plan of 499 in between and while changing there was no communication or anything regarding the deactivation of any offers. I even received my 10 gb of data but they have deactivated the extra 3gb per month till dec 2017 offers. The app is now only showing 13gb. I have contacted airtel regarding this matter but they are not ready to give the data back. They are offering me only 2gb of data for 6 months. I am depending on this data pack and changed the plan. I had to recharge for 80rs for 200mb this month coz of this issue. I need this issues to be solved asap. They are not responding properly. attached the mails.

        From yesterday onwards, I'm having full Network signal on my phone but not able to call to receive calls from anybody in my area. Also I've tested that it's not my device problem. Every Airtel connection in my vicinity has the same issue, don't know why! So, please look into this matter and resolve as soon as possible.

          Dear sir/ma'am,
          I stay in gurgaon. I lost my mobile in february -17 at new delhi railway station (Someone stole my mobile). At that time i was using airtel mobile number. I register mobile lost complain through online gadget complain department as gurgaon police suggest me. Then i report same in airtel customer care number as well as i mail on nodal officer & appellate officer mail id. But there were no response i got. Still my number was not blocked. After 2 months i got call from nodal officer, on call nodal officer ask me some question like, name, address, as last recharge & validity of sim. Everything i told, but could not verify address.
          He told me cant block your number as per our rule. When i told her i am using this number from last 6 years, everywhere i have register same number like, my adhar card, my collage, my institute, my officer current of existing, my social networking, my mail account, my pan card. I have applied for driving licensee etc. Then nodal officer told me to visit nearest airtel office with you photo id proof, 1 passport size photo, form 60 or pan card. With all document i visited airtel outlet but executive who were sitting there, told me we cant renew this number. Because this sim is not registered on your number. After word i got call from appellate officer, same reason appellate officer told me. Now what to do? I am feeling paralyze without that number. There is no response from airtel. I can do anything without that number. Because everywhere i have registered my same number & previous last 6 or 7 years i am using same number.

              Airtel is cheating the indians. They have reduce the validity of Rs. 399 pack with only 56 days without any information. Yesterday (25-apr-2017) I recharged my airtel number [protected] with Rs. 399 and got only 56 days validity.

              Their my airtel app still showing it's validity 70 days buy when I called to airtel customer care, they said there is technical error in my airtel app and we reduce validity to 56 days before 2 days.

                  I surprised that Airtel representative called me after this complain and asking my credit card number from which i made the payment of 399 to extend the validity with 70 days.

                  when i refuse to give my credit card number, he said it's mandatory to extend the validity.

                  Strange! I mean how a company can ask personal detail like credit card number etc...Anyone have answer?

                  Airtel is cheating its subscribers.I have 4G handset with 4G SIM. I recharged with 399 .unlimited data is working fine .but I'm not able to make unlimited calls and the validity is only for 28days and not 70 days .DISGUSTING
                  i have recharged my airtel number with 399 /-, and its not giving 1gb/day as promised . my data expired after first 1gb usage and they are giving 28 days validity instead of 70 days, nor they are giving 1gb data/day, its my mistake to choose airtel when jio is fulfilling their promises.

                  Yes.. Now AIRTEL foolishing customers and giving wrong information.
                  They announced 399 plan for 84 days.. But when I recharge with the same plan it gave me 70 days validity.
                  I informed the same to Airtel customer care, they clearly mentioned that.. this new plan offer 399 is just announced in news.. but they never ever make this true it seems..
                  What is this AIRTEL.. why to do this silly things.. if you don't have money, never make the wrong statement in public.

                      I got a call from Airtel providing services of free calls/roaming services and 13GB data pack per month- Rs. 499 plan. I posted from Vodafone to Airtel and not they are telling this plan is not available and currently they can provide only 3 GB. Customer care team tells that this plan is active only till April 10 but i received the call with this plan on 21st April.

                          We had purchased a new HD recording DTH from Airtel in 2015. After 3 months of recording, we saw that the Set Top Box (STB) was not recording most of the set channels, and we launched an official complaint with the Airtel Customer service. When the local field officer contacted us he said that the STB is not available and we have to wait for our replacement. After repeated follow ups and after 8 months of waiting, we were given a replacement by the allocated field officers near our area.

                          The problem with the second STB was that Airtel failed to issue us a new STB in replacement of our defective one which was still under the warranty period. So after 11 months of waiting on the 12th month the 2nd replaced STB started having software update issues. (attached picture for reference)

                          We registered a complaint once and it was told that since the warranty had expired we needed to buy a new STB. This was an absolute shocker. We ignored the same and continued with the faulty temporary software update STB since we didn't want to pay another hefty amount.

                          Now, on 14th April 2017, our STB has stopped working completely and the screen is stuck at zero percent software update. (attached is the picture as of today 25th April 2017.)

                          We launched a complaint with Airtel customer service agents and I have spoken to so many of them and the names are as below:
                          Mr. Hari
                          Mr. Rahul
                          Mr. Sudarshan
                          Ms. Priyanka (Twice)
                          Mr. Arun (Twice)
                          Mr. Satish
                          Mr. JayGanesh

                          Escalation Managers: Mr. AnanthRaj & Ms. Shruthi (Twice)

                          I have never felt so helpless and disappointed at the customer service agents who kept me on wait for an average of 20 mins each person. I have made non-stop calls from 15th April 2017 till today 25th April 2017 and not even one person has come one to check or rectify the STB issue.

                          We were given Local field officers name & numbers (Mr. Vishwanath & Mr. Lokesh) and both of them had the audacity to tell us that there is no stock available hence they will not come to our place to even check. The STB needs to be changed and there is no stock, so no use to visit our place. The words they spoke was even more shocking.

                          Finally on 21st April 2017, I called the customer case and spoke with Mr. JayGanesh to take a cancellation request. After 2 days on the 23rd April 2017, I received a call from Ms. Niveditha stating that since I have asked for a cancellation, the amount paid as an advance to Airtel will not be refunded. I was shocked beyond words at the attitude of this young lady who had no clue why we were cancelling and blaming us for the cancellation.

                          Immediately we called customer care once again and we spoke with Ms. Priyanka & Escalation manager Ms Shruthi once again to take up this matter seriously and to cancel our Airtel subscription since we had no connection or TV from 14th April 2017 and no one attended us till date - 25th April 2017.

                          And I have also informed them that we are leaving on a holiday on 26th April 2017 and will return only on 22 May 2017. So the disconnection of the STB has to be done immediately.

                          Till date (25th April 2017) no one has come to take up the matter. Or we have not even received one call from any person from the Airtel team.

                          Simply amazed at how Airtel is fleecing its customers and holding them at ransom with defective STB and pathetic customer service.

                          I need my money back for all the torture we had to go through with Airtel DTH services.

                          Updated by Saviona, Aug 30, 2017 It's been more than 4 months since the set top box has been taken away and we were promised a refund of ₹1782 on my credit card which was used to purchase the connection. Last month airtel claimed via mail that amount was credited to my ccard on 31/5/17@1847, which I denied. They asked me to mail them all statements till date to verify that amount not credited. In spite of doing so there is no reply from them.(ref pics) I have made several calls to customer care to seek a reply and closure but no use. Latest open complaints in this regard are 64863035 raised by Shubham and 64507119 raised by Rubini. I am completely helpless in dealing with this and hence have decided to take below steps till issue is closed and I receive my refund. "My airtel broadband outstanding amount for this month is ₹3066. I have decided to paid them only ₹1284 as on date post deducting ₹1782 towards my digital tv refund. As customers are being held to ransom, I found this one way to get back to airtel as let them sort it out amongst their departments."

                          Thank you for getting back. But it's too late.

                          As I was leaving for the airport today, I got a call from one of your field officer(Contact - [protected]) insisting that he will come immediately to do the replacement of the Set Top Box. I told him we are leaving for the airport and he was adamant not to believe us.

                          Please note, we will be back only on 22 May 2017 and will be able to collect next with the Airtel only then.

                          In my final resolution I want to cancel the connection and do not want to continue with Airtel DTH

                                My dish tv subscriber no. [protected].
                                It was informed me through sms, on 24-04-17 that validity of my service will expire on 27-04-17. Prior to pay i found that my account balance was rs 56.35. Immediately after payment of rs 399, on 24-04-17, my balance was rs. 398.86 and validity up to 22-05-17. I got 28 days balance, and the earlier balance was not carry forwarded. My question is what is the use of prior notification? Is it only due to making the running balance 'zero'? Please give me feedback, as this is happened first time, till installation of my dish tv.

                                Very funny, on 26-04-17 it is informed "We will connect with you to get additional details, if required, to resolve the concern effectively".
                                And on 05-05-17 it is informed "We would like to confirm that we have shared the resolution details with you"
                                But no resolution yet been felt. The validity of my Dish TV account is still 22-05-17.
                                Not able to understand what resolution to my complain you have shared?
                                However, self will be cautious about recharge.

                                  Hi, so i just ported my number from vodafone to airtel because of network issues... And now, i am not receiving messages for recharges. Like if i did a talktime recharge, i haven't received any message from airtel that the recharge has been done. Same goes for data recharges. I have to manually dial *123# to check if the talktime recharge has been done or the data pack has been activated or not. Can anyone help?
