Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Mr. Ramesan Pullanhiyodan. I booked flight ticket from Doha to Muscat on 29th December 2016 and return on 1st January 2017. The onward journey was very late and instead of reaching in Muscat at 4 am, I could reach there only by 11.45 am. I had an interview over there at 10.30 am. I couldn't attend the interview and it was a mere waste journey. It can be considered as my bad luck.
On 1st January, when I reached the airport at 3.30 pm to catch my return flight, Fludubai operating section informed me that all the flights had been cancelled. I had to reach Doha before 11 pm yesterday and there was no other way I took a ticket in Oman Airways by paying QR. 1100 that is Rs. 21000/-
So what type of service you are providing through your travels?
How will you refund my flight charge?
Who will take the responsibility of my heavy lose of money and time?

    Mr. Anil Rander had booked tickets for sector Jaipur – Mumbai, travel date 4th December 2016 for self and his family in the month of Oct 2016 (Oct 6th 2016 )thro his Online booking portal . wherein we were neither informed about the NON REFUNDABLE TICKET STATUS while booking, nor were we informed about the CANCELLATION POLICY

    Mr. Anil Rander had sent an intimation via email well in advance from the date and time of travel (nearly 26 hours in advance) for cancellation of the said tickets and also requesting refund.

    Till today we have been asking Akbar Travels executives, communicating thro phone and emails asking them to provide us the refund / cancellation charges applied/, to which they always provide us with an answer which is irrelevant…..

    How can a cancellation charge exceed the total cost of the ticket ?

    Kindly look in to the matter above and request you provide us with an detail explanation as to which we can understand the logic, as to cancellation exceeding the total cost .

    Kindly note the above transaction even though does not pertain to direct involvement of Jet Airways, however somewhere down the line it will affect the business and reputation, as due to miscommunication and misguiding from the agent will surely hamper the airline business .

      I am sorry to write this letter that today my wife got a bad response from akbar travels Aluva branch (Ernakulam, Kerala)Opp Aryogalam hospital
      My wife gave our marriage certificate for Qatar embassy attestation on last month 11/11/2016 and they told will take around 20 working days with 3000 Rupees fees.
      when she called 2 days back the agency people are asking 2000 Rupees extra. And do threatening my wife. When I called over phone they are repeating same and asking me to to come directly because they people know I am working abroad and will not come . so please reply this mail or solve this issue otherwise will file a police case.

        Dear concern

        I beg to say that my name is ajay bhardwaj (Md) jk enterprises mahilpur punjab. Today my client have a flight atq to yyz, but canceled due to some reason. Air line send the sms at last min. Customer called many time, so where i call of course you, but your customer care just up there hand and said we cant do anything regarding your problem, so why i again make ticket from your portal tell me the reason. They dis same thing before in domestic ticket and one dth recharge.

          This is the worst company, even they are not willing to give response.

          I purchased one two way ticket for ethihad from medina to calicut and now i want to cancel the partial ticket. But they are saying partial cancellation is not possible and and also even if it cancel you will get only very few amount that is also after 45-90 days.

            I had booked a ticket from akbar travels T2 mumbai airport on 22nd september 2016 . The actual ticket cost from mumbai to dubai one way was Rs.13680 but they charged Rs.19650..( Rs.5970 more than the actual price.) They didn't gave me invoice during that time and emailed it to me today only after many calls. Usually any travel agency doesn't charge more than Rs.300 to 500 ..kindly urgently clarify why akbar travel charged Rs.5970 additional . I had sent several emails to them asking about clarification but there is no reply till now.

              I booked the ticket through Akbartravels.com ref no- AT[protected]. It was jetairways ticket and refundable ticket. As per the jetairways policy you can cancelled the ticket 1 hr before and there won't be no show charges, but this fraud travel agency who are looting the customer. They are not ready to accept the same. I called them 3-4 hr (between 10PM to 01 AM but no response 26Sept 2016). The service is very pathetic. Then I called the airlines and cancelled the ticket but next after sending so many reminders and phone call they replied that the ticket is non refundable so there won't be any refund. Please everyone beware of this travel agency. Otherwise you have regret. Please make booking directly with the airlines only. They said, cancellation charges 16400/- however the ticket cost was 10600/- only. Govt. Must look into this kind of fraud travel agency.

                My name is N Ramakrishna Rao from Hyderabad. I booked 9 tickets with your transaction ID: AT[protected] Spicejet Airline PNR is O4THQV) and another 9 tickets with your transaction ID: AT[protected]Spicejet Airline PNR is Y6WUGC).
                I cancelled 5 tickets from first tickets and 4 tickets from second ticket. The cancellation was done with the Spicejet and the cancellation amount was not returned to my account.

                The details of cancellations were taken from Spicejet, they are as follows.

                1. Two tickets were cancelled on 2/8/2016 (Mr.Narotham Reddy & Mr.Lakshman Kumar V) from first ticket (PNR.O4THQV) and the cancellation PNR is PFS2GR. An amount Rs.2112.00 was credited to Akbar travels from Spicejet.

                2.Three tickets were cancelled on 3/8/2016 (Mr.Srinivas Singh, Mr. Indrakaran Reddy & Mr.Nagaraju) from first ticket (PNR no. is O4THQV) and the cancellation PNR is WE6DRK. An amount Rs.3168.00 was credited to Akbar travels from Spicejet.

                3.One ticket was cancelled on 2/8/2016 (Mr.Madhusudan Reddy) from the second ticket (PNR.Y6WUGC) and the cancellation PNR is DBPERN. An amount Rs.1056.00 was credited to Akbar travels from Spicejet.

                4.Three tickets were cancelled on 3/8/2016 (Mr.Nageswara Rao Posani, Mr.JJ Reddy & Mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy) from the second ticket (PNR no. is Y6WUGC) and the cancellation PNR is L9Z7GW. An amount Rs.3168.00 was credited to Akbar travels from Spicejet.

                I brought the cancellation of the issue on 17th August'2016 and your people never resolved the issue till the date.

                We came to know the level of service what you offering to your customers and if you fail to resolve the issue within next 48 hours, we can complain about cheating/intentional delay against your company at statutory bodies and online forums.

                  Whenever u call on akbar travels international hot-line, their policy is to make people fool, by their strategy stating that anytime u can cancel ur ticket. After hen u cancel the ticket they charge the penalty nd they delay in responding and they make traps to fool u making no-show penalty nd after that when u r going to rebook ur ticket for another date they r going to give u large amount of supplement bill which is not comparable by the ticket which u bought at the time and at the time of booking rate
                  They will delay to give u the response for making money.
                  So before u buy be aware of them.

                    I have booked ticket on akbar travels.com and I am struggling for the refund and cancellation of the ticket no one is helping me out . Its a 100% fraud company and they are cheating with customer and their customer care service is very poor . I m fed up of their behaviour and I want my money back .

                      I purchased an air ticket at Mumbai international airport from Akbar Travels. The ticket is from Dammam to Mumbai by Oman Air on march 10 and your representative charged me Rs 13800. Since I was getting late for boarding my flight to Dammam, I paid the amount thru my visa card. But I later checked that this ticket was actually priced at Rs 8450. I would like you to look into the matter and immediately arrange to refund the excess amount charged by Akbar Travels. Ayesha Farokhi

                        I am writing to complain against for Akbar Travels, Kollam, Kerala, south India. On 7th and 8th July 2015, I was visited Akbar travels kollam office and purchased a To and Fro ticket to Saudi Arabia( Sri Lankan Airlines ) for visiting my wife those who has hospitalized at KSA. When I purchasing my ticket, I was informed the counter staff; I need to change the ticket after the three months so you need to purchase a ticket I can easily to change in your office. While he agreed and told me when you need to change just call me sir then we can change the ticket. however, my returns schedule is on 11th October 2015 and now I am planned to change on 11th January 2015. Last One weeks before I enquire the staff through email and telephone regarding the subject but no one give right reply and many times I called their staff to ask about the matter. They told me they cannot change; the ticket is valid only 3 months and you need to go directly to Sri Lankan airlines office also you need to pay the penalty and extra charges. I am living at remote area near Jizan if I go to the Srilankan airlines office I need to travel more than 350 km. all of you are aware that public transportation is rare in KSA. I found this experience to be very unprofessional and extremely unorganized. why doesn't inform their staff the expiration and penalties before I was purchased the ticket? At last their staff’s solution is to pay additional INR.22, 000/ and change the ticket. I don’t know what the sense; the new ticket is available in the same destination and same airlines @ INR-17000/-. I don’t specifically know where this fault lies, but I would appreciate it if someone could help explain this to me to avoid it happening again. and also have someone look into better improving their service.                         I had a bad experience with Akbar, arriving in Mumbai I needed a prepaid taxi to my hotel. I told them the name of the hotel and they wrote down the wrong district on the receipt and told me the price was 600 Rupees which I agreed to. Then in the taxi the driver didnt turn on the AC which I found suspicious, he went to the wrong district as denoted in the receipt, and then told me it would cost an additional 500 Rupees to go to the actual district. I found this cost to be outrageous as the other district was only 2-3 kms away from the first. In addition, it was not my fault that the desk man gave the wrong district to the cab driver, I should have not been accountable for the extra charge. It was unclear whether or not my cab driver was ripping me off, I noticed that he only turned on the AC after I had agreed to pay the additional 500 Rupees. In the end, I will avoid using this particular company again
                        Worst Travels to book the tickets.Customer Support is also very pathetic.
                        Tickets are issued only after several follow ups with customer care and a long wait.

                        Zero star..

                        Would like to give negative stars.

                          Hi, I would like to file compliant against www.akbartravels.com In Oct 2014, i made online ticket booking from Delhi to Hyd (Return), and cancelled within same month. Ref. No. : AT[protected] As per cancellation norms, i was suppose to get Rs 9771, however i just got credit of Rs 1603. I am still fighting for my refund.

                            Respected Sir/Madam, I booked an air ticket from www.akbartravelsonline.com on[protected] for[protected] travel date from IMF to BLR at Rs 8184 under reference no AT[protected] using my ICICI Bank ATM debit card. I got the ticket and everything was fine. But on 22 july there was a deduction of Rs 8184 from my account when my balance was only 2282.54. After that deduction my balance was in negative balance of Rs -5901.46 giving narration as VPS_CITRUS PAY_21/12/14. On that day I didn't know that who debited this from my account.So I made a complain to my ICICI Bank Porompat Branch and immediately blocked my ATM card So the bank has started investigation and they sent me a letter dated 30th july 2015 that the deduction was made from www.akbartravelsonline.com. So I again made a complai to the travel website but till now no refund was made to me. I complained to them again and again but in vain. They have accepted that it was debited by them in erro They told me that it will take time to refund the amount. Its been more than 45 days from my complain date.Please take necessary action against them and help me to get my amount of Rs 8184 back to my bank account.                               I have booked ticket through Akbar Travels Ghatkopar branch. My tickets were round trip from Mumbai to Chicago through Etihad Airways. While booking the ticket, agent told me that I can exchange the dates and its refundable. Due to medical conditions, I have to postpone the ticket once and I have paid the penalty amount. But my health condition didn't improve and hence I have to finally cancel the ticket. While cancelling the ticket they never told be that its non-refundable ticket. After following up for the payment 3-4 times, they refunded me lump sump amount. And they are telling me that ticket was non-refundable. First of all, they made mistake in communication that ticket is refundable and now they are saying its non-refundable. Also, they are not willing to give any clarification about how they calculated refund amount. I lost almost Rs. 135000 and they are not willing to provide any details regarding that. They are saying that Etihad Airways gave them refund but not ready to show me any proof of that. Even I copied head office and customer support on all the emails, but one care to look into the matter. I have to complaint in social media so that other people are aware of how they operate and they are not supportive in resolving issue. I am still following up with them from last 2 months but they are not providing any details about the refund amount. Its really frustrating. I will NEVER buy tickets through Akbar Travels.

                                  I would like every one to know how a Travel Agent silly mistake and carelessness can stop your travel and could turn out to be a big waste of time and above all MONEY. Akbar Travels is a reputed company and in any industry it is believed that reputation comes with customer satisfaction - Alas! One bad employe's can spoil the reputation which takes a period to earn. In my case I am a frequent traveler to many south Asian countries as well as West. 2 years ago I had a refusal of entry in Singapore due to an argument with the immigration office which was due to some miss understanding which took a year to solve with the ICA by writing hundreds of emails to Govt of Singapore. After resolving my problems I was able to travel to Singapore. I traveled to Singapore lately on 8th Aug & returned by 12th Akbar Travels did my tickets and I had applied my Visa from Thailand my visa was expiring on 19th Aug. I decided to travel back to Singapore on 29th Aug and Applied for my visa trough Akbar travels handled by Kadhar - He had applied my visa on 26th and I was refused for my VISA. I was very surprised and had contacted the EMBASSY / Consulate of Singapore for the same. They advice me that my Declaration in PART III of form 14A was false which was true... Here come the main issue " CARELESSNESS OF AKBAR TRAVELS IN FILLING THE FORM" lead to my REFUSAL - In fact I had mention this to KADHAR of AKBAR TRAVELS and also sent him the appropriate document prior the APPLICATION, Despite of the information provided he never took into the consideration and filled the APPLICATION for 14A according to his will and I ended up in a mess. Now they Charged me for the Filing and also told me they did their job, Embassy called me and informed me the mistake is in the DECLARATION on PART III of form 14A - I was not given an appropriate explaination by KADHAR of AKBAR TRAVELS OF INDIA and

That on 08th August 2014 I called your customer care executive via my Mobile NO:- [protected]/[protected] for the procedure of cancellation and he guided me that cancellation charges will be Rs1800/= per passenger for the ticket and remaining amount will be refunded back in my account. 4. That while doing cancellation process your portal showed me that Rs4262/= will be refundable. 5. That I cancelled my Ticket Ref ID NO:- AT[protected] on 08th of August 2014 and made new ticket with Ref ID NO:-AT[protected] 6. That when I checked the refund status of Ref. ID: - AT[protected] on the second day it was showing refund was rejected. 7. That I called your another customer care executive and he told me the said ticket is non-refundable. 8. That the terms and conditions of the ticket sent to me by your portal doesn’t mention that this is non-refundable one. 9. That the ticket sent by spice jet has not mentioned that the ticket is non-refundable too. 10. That this clearly proves that your customer care executive has misguided me and your portal has provided me wrong information for the cancellation process which incurred me to bear huge loss and mental torture. On the above mentioned facts it is requested make the refund possible from your side because you have provided me the wrong information and if the refund is ignored from your side then I am compelled to knock the door of justice in court.                                       Hi I have booked my ticket through akbartravels.com. Ref No: AT[protected]. Dehradun to Pune 22nd June 2014. 12:35pm Flight Jet Airways Flight(PNR: SIWNOV). When i reached to check-in, I got to know that my ticket got cancelled through Agent itself. When I contacted AkbarTravels they told me Jet Airways has cancelled my flight. From 11:30am to 2:45 pm I keep on talking to Akbar Travels & Jet Airways, but no body took the responsibility for the cancellation. When I have not cancelled my tickets, how the akbartravels or travel agent can cancel my flight. I have received no information regarding this from Jet Airways or from akbar travels that my flight got cancelled. Me & my family keep talking to Jet Airways staff there at Dehradun Airport, but non of them had courtesy to talk some sense. This is highly unacceptable that just due to some confusion between Akbartravel & Jet Airways, a passenger was declined to board a flight. On top of it, Jet Airways Call-center Supervisior Siddharth was extremely rude & told us he cant do anything. Mr. Sarfaraz, Supervisior from Akbartravel was still tried to take Jet Airways on conference & requested to provide a solution. However Siddharth's (Jet Airways Contact Center) behavior was still rude. Akbartravel refunded the full fare invested, however I have to book another flight at much much higher rates than before. This shame on part of Akbartravels & Jet Airways to keep passenger waiting for more than 4hours & even then ask passenger to pay from her pocket.

                                        Holiness Sir / Madam, I am the last 19/04/2014 on our website from
                                        Chennai to Madurai, two bus ticket booked but the ticket fake and
                                        nothing like this in our organization, logging is not Madurai ( Radha
                                        Travels ) say that I have already complained repeatedly sending
                                        information no proper reply So do not delay and take action immediately ( refund request ) request the bus ticket and attaching a copy of this .
