I have booked a morning flight on srilankan airways ul 165 from cmb to cok, through akbar travels, cross checking the itinary found that i was issued with the evening flight.
Raised the complained and they have send me option to change with penalty.
Why am i charged with penalty when the mistake is from the travels. I was happy that they have discounted the service charge on credit card (Rs300) but this was a day light robbery

    My trip id at[protected] on 18th sep 2017 i have mail you.

    Booking amount 114000/-

    My uncle mr. Rameshbhai patel he is senior citizen he want only refundable ticket we bought etihad ticket through akbar. Even we are getting cheaper flight in air india but ticket is non refundable so we booked etihad because ticket are refundable.

    I bought this ticket because its showing refundable even i got e - ticket where clearly mention ticket are refundable. You can check e - ticket below.

    Even if you are doing new booking again it showing this fare is refundable now you guys are claiming ticket are non refundable

    This is not my fault due to you airline issue why should i suffer for that.

    I want my money back.

      I have done a booking on 26th july for a flight from mumbai to cochin for date 18th oct for 2 pax and return cochin to mumbai on 22nd oct for 2 pax.

      Payment was made for onward journey through mpesa wallet and through credit card for return journey. Same was debited and i have recd a confirmation sms. When i am checking on the akbar travel website now, the tickets are not issued. The customer care does not have any idea about my payment details. I have already shared them the screen shots of both the transactions and the debits from my account but their response is they are least interested in solving the issue.

      I need my tickets to be issued asap.

      In regards to above raised query, both the ticket copy has been sent to passenger on his registered mail id and also had call conversation with passenger to resolve his query. Passenger has two different mail id due to which ticket delivered to different mail addresses.

        I had booked a flight ticket from chennai to abu dhabi for travel on 26/8/2017 with ticket number[protected]. As per etihad airways the jet airways passengers are entitled for free coach service from abu dhabi to dubai. Akbar travels staff chetan initially said there is no coach service between abu dhabi and dubai and then he said coach service is there and no additions can be done. Later after a long conversation he said that the coach service can be done but with a different itinerary. This person has no proper knowledge about the services provided by jet airways. This person does not know to handle a customer. He kept on providing wrong information. After some time another person named sarfraz joined the conversation and he also started saying that itinerary change has to be done as coach service cannot be provided with the existing pnr. When checked online the ticket which i had booked provided coach service from abu dhabi to dubai. When informed them about this he said that coach service can be added in existing ticket upon charge being paid and the charge they said was rs.6000/- which was really funny.

        Akbar travels had poor customer support, staffs not aware of the various services provided by airlines. They keep on irritating the services by providing wrong information.

          I booked a ticket whose at no. Is[protected] from lko to jp and back from jp to lko but when i got the tickets it booked opposite that is from jp to lko and back from lko to jp..
          I asked customer service to change this or help me out what with this problem..
          They said me to cancel the tickets book a new ticket i did so whose at no. Is[protected]..
          But after my booking a new ticket they sent me a mail that the previous ticket cannot be cancelled but when i asked for cancellation the system was showing me a full refund..
          Now the problem is i have 2 tickets from which one is of no use..

            I booked ticket for lko to jaipur and jaipur to lucknow but when i got a confirmation mail it mentioned that my tickets are from jaipur to lucknow and lucknow to jaipur..
            When u asked customer service they told me that now i have to cancel the tickets and will have to reissue again..
            Then i did so but after some time they wrote me a mail that your tickets now cannot be cancelled and in the meanwhile i booked another tickets from the same carrier please help me and suggest me wat do now..
            Is there no one in the company who could help me in this problem..

              I want to travel to coimbatore in the end july 2017. Hence i purchased air india returns ticket from akbar travels of india online.
              To my surprised, the akbar travels they issued me two tickets separate with different booking code, while i have purchased return ticket online, instead they must issued me one ticket with one booking code. But cheater akbar travels issued me two ticket with different booking code.
              The tickets cost was about rs.22, 500/- for 3 passengers bombay/coimbatore/bombay.

              As, due to change of programme i cancelled the above booking from akbar travels, for which they sent me reply to refund only rs.2, 200/= out of purchased amount of rs.22, 500/=.
              This cancellation i made before 15days of traveling date.

              So i lost rs.20, 300/= due to bad booking matter from akbar travels of india online.

              Hence beware never buy air tickets from akbar travels of india.
              They are number 1 cheaters and you will loose money if you book from akbar travels of india.

                Hi team,

                I am mailing you with a hope that i will receive some kind of help.

                The case is due to a emergency for a job search in qatar i had to make a return ticket due to concerns of boarding pass from air india, i had no options but to go ahead and book from akbar travels which was near from the cst airport.
                I had received the tickets and paid 9500 inr which was way higher than the actual ticket cost. I had made the payments and even i had visited qatar.
                Later due to my visa i had to stay more, it was hard that i was unable to find a job.
                I had cancelled the tickets from air india qatar branch. For my refund i have to receive 5200rs. I had got the info for the refund i have to mail to akbar travels and even had made visits to the cst airport.
                There is no help i have received and the customer relations officer in airport lacks with knowledge, given me all wrong details for the refund, and am still unable to find how can i get my refund amount back.

                If anyone can help me or let know how can i receive the refunds from akbar travels.

                It will be a great help.

                  I booked a return flight ticket from dammam to ahmedabad through akbar travels.com. And the airlines is qatar airways, due to diplomatic issues qatar airways flights to saudi arabia got cancelled from june 5th 2017. My return flight which is on 9th june too got cancelled. When i contacted the akbar travels team they are asking me to contact the airlines and when i approached airlines, they are asking me to contact the agent as i booked it from the agent only. Akbar travels representatives are simply ignoring the issue and just sending one mail to contact airlines. So please look after this issue and do the needful to get my refund back.

                    I have booked my ticket with AkbarTravel and it is dated in June 28, 2017 with reference number of AK[protected] however with the issues of Qatar airways suspension due to some issues with UAE ties. I was alarmed and emailed them immediately regarding such issues came up. They replied to me and said that i have to wait till they have received emails from the said airline. So my other option to ensure about my booking was to call the airline directly. Successfully after an hour waiting for the qatar airways contact center they informed me that flight is suspended and it is better to cancel with full refund without any cancellation charges but it the cancellation must be made through Akbartravel. I emailed again the akbartravel twice but they never answered me since my email contains about cancelling the booking! This is hilarious since the amount is not just a single dirham but almost 2, 000 dirhams!!! This should be resolved since it was not my choice or my willingness of suspnding this flight!!

                      I had booked my tickets for Jet airways Muscat-Mumbai-Muscat and have paid Rs.23606. At the time of booking itself the return fare was more than the going fare.
                      I now wanted to change the date of my return flight from 1st july to 3rd July and on 31st May I saw the fare on all the sites of Jet airways / AT and MMT and it was in the range of Rs.12600 to Rs.13200.
                      My series of agony are as under:

                      1. I requested for change of dates giving my Platinum card JP number so that change date penalty is not levied. Ispite of that they kept on saying that they need confirmation from airline and everytime a new person replying and there is no one single person doing end to end job. I got reply frSandeep, danish, Ratnesh and so many others
                      2. First they gave me amount of 2000 as penalty+ 1500 fare diff and 600 as ser charge Total 4200 and when I kept on following for my JP Platinum status then they are saying that fine I am removing the penalty but fare gap is now Rs.7300
                      3. Worth to mention here that each of the sites of MMT, Jet and even Akbar travels own site showing same fare as was showing yesterday.

                      What do I understand? Customer is n your clutches now and you want to really suck the blood?

                      While speaking you come across all illiterate and incompetent staff

                        On 17th april 2017 i had taken a cab from t2 airport mumbai to thane from akbar travles airport counter and they have cheated me by charging a 1500 rs and later i came to know that there are other ac taxi available from airport which costs me only 450.. The total kilometre i had traveld is 23 km then how they charged me a sum of 1500 rs?? And i have only two hand baggage with me..

                          I wanted to reschedule my Spice jet flight from Dubai to Mumbai SG 14 on 13-Apr-2017 departing at 2:15AM with PNR VFH43E. Call center has send me a payment link for the rescheduling of same flight for 14th April . After doing payment they called me and said spicejet is not allowing them to reschedule the flight. So i told him that i will connect from my mobile to spicejet office in India and request them to reschedule. The call went for 18 mins between me akbar travel call center guy and spicejet agent . Spice jet guy said its akbar travel agent fault and akbar travel guy said its spicejet fault. Than in end i suffered between both companies like a bagger . There senior team member refuse to come on call and help.
                          I am stuck know don't know what do. I feel i have done some mistake using there services. Please help i have left with no options.

                            It's been 5 months that I had booked a ticket from Akbar Travel, but unfortunately my flight got cancelled due to low visibility. The airlines had cleared for eligibility for full refund after the first month of cancellation. I have written not less than a 100 emails and numerous phone calls, but they reply on mail that we are processing and on the phone they say they would get back to me. My AT:[protected] if any of those idiots are looking. My flight got cancelled on November 20th 2016 and till now I haven't received my refund on a round trip booking.

                            Has this happened to anyone, is this common with this agency? Because if it is then there are legal procedures from where they won't be able to run.

                              I purchased international flight ticket from akbar travels, During the purchased i asked them very clearly about the baggage handling also inform them that i don't want to do self baggage handling during the connected flights. They give false promise. On the day of travel they told me that i have to do self baggage handling and they told airlines are responsible for this sudden change in baggage handling. After reaching the airport i contacted the airlines and enquired about this matter they replied that it's not the sudden change it is very well known to travel agency. Please don't book through akbar travel. Extremely poor service and behaviour of employees.

                                This is to Inform you that I wanted to cancel my flight from Vadodara- Mumbai having Reference Number AT[protected],

                                I Spoke to Mr Mahesh Kamble in customer Support Team and earlier he told it's a Non refundable fare and then when I said while booking I clearly checked it's a refundable fare then he agreed it's a refundable fare and told me your Fare is 3800 and Refund amount is Rs 3700 whereas refund amount of cancellation seen on Jet airways website is pretty less. It's a clear case that the company is overcharging.Agreed if you are overcharging but he should not have lied that it's non refundable fare.

                                Also earlier when I asked for his name he just told Mahesh and told he cannot reveal his Last name then on telling to speak to senior he told no one is there and then told his full name why in first place he could not tell?

                                I also asked him if any customer issue email id he replied only my support email id whereas I had to go online and check customer relations email id.

                                As you can see my account I have been regularly booking through Akbar Website but this thing has broken all my trust and it's a final thing this is my last booking here.

                                I also understand this loosing 1 customer won't affect this big company but it's has broken my trust. I was just to cancel the fare and did not care how much ever refund I got but the way the behaved on the Phone I found it suspicious. You can check the IVR as all calls must be recorded.

                                  I booked ticket through Akbar travel for travel from Dehradun to Delhi to travel on 17 Feb 2017.
                                  On my ticket the baggage details were given as free baggage-15 kg and cabin baggage-7 Kg.
                                  At the time of checking in airline official told me that ticket is booked under hand baggage only option and I would have to pay Rs 400/- extra for cabin baggage up to 15 Kg
                                  I had to pay Rs 400/- extra because of wrong ticket issued by Akbar travels.
                                  The same amount may be refunded to me by Akbar travels

                                    I have booked one ticket on 30th Jan for Chennai to Delhi (Ref. No. : AT[protected]/PNR: B5RMTY) behalf of my friend. Due to some problem he missed the flight.After that i called the airlines they told me that if you cancelled the ticket with now show then you will get retrun some amount (Taxes only).But should do it from your travel agent.I called the Akbartravels. They told me that please send the mail. I sent the mail. But didnot get reply. after 4/5 times i mailed them.But didnot get proper answer. During that time i called airline they told me that refund has been done to your travel agent. When i called the travel agent they told me that our services + discount amount which i have provided you during your booking will be minus.How can they deduct discount amount from my refund. this is totally fooling customer.This is fraud company

                                      Shocking!
                                      The Air India promotion sale is all a marketing gimmick.I booked a ticket from Jodhpur to Delhi on a promotional fare on the akbar travels site, got a confirmation of booked and my money also got deducted .Now a akbar travel executive called and said they have cancelled my ticket without even asking me saying that their system had a issue and also Air India asked them to cancel the ticket.This has not only caused me unnecessary hassle but also i have no ticket to fly back.Highly disappointed with this, I have always booked my flight on akbar travels coz they claim to be the cheapest.
                                      Please beware guys dnt ever book on this site.
                                      All this is a big scam!

                                        I have purchased the ticket as advertised on your website below. To my disappointment I was informed I have to use this 5 times which is aed 40 maximum every time . your website did not state this . Even before I could make a ticket I called your office on 13th Jan and was told I get aed 200 voucher for any travel or hotel. I get this notification after I make and issue the ticket for my brother. Could you mention where this was mentioned before the person issues this ticket.

                                        I need aed 200/- voucher from you at one go as advertised I will book something from you. I can be contacted by email .

                                        I won’t settle for anything less.

This promotion is as a courtesy to our valued clients without any raffle draw and competition. The voucher worth AED 200 is ONLY extended to those valued clients who book flight tickets (return) for more than AED 1000.
                                        The voucher can be redeemed on our portal for further travel bookings by using the promotional code, which is sent to the clients email address only, and all the terms and conditions are very clearly mentioned in the voucher. We have mentioned in our portal that we are providing AED 200 travel voucher, and didn’t mention this is redeemable at one go.

                                        We value our client and loyalty towards us, we treat this matter seriously and shall undertake some corrective measures to avoid clear understanding regarding the same.
