As I'm a ABN AMRO Bank Customer so from Bank regularly send their representative with AVIVA people (AS ABN AMRO TIED WITH AVIVA) to sell Insurance Policies very cunningly neither giving any brochures nor any illustration to the customers. Keeping faith on Banker I relied on them but AVIVA PEOPLE COMPLETELY CHEATED MISGUIDED MISSELLED FRAUD .They forged (Moutusi Dutta )my wife's signature in SVG 1132961( as stated below ). They misguided me saying that (Mr.Vikash Gupta & Kevin Singh ) I'll have to pay three years 50000 x 3 and at the end of fourth year I'll get Double of the amount that is why they did not allow me INTENTIONALLY to fill up the PREMIUM PAYING TERM they made it later on sitting in their office for the Policy No:Policy Vikash NOW I'M IN GREAT LOSS NEITHER I'M GETTING MY PRINCIPAL AMOUNT FOR THE POLICIES AS STATED HEREIN :

    I want to know about a relation between a customer and you?



    Reason:



    At that time when you want to sell your policy.. then.. your representative words:



    Sir, I’ll do all for you.

    I will switch your fund automatically, when market go down, I will send statement to update you..

    I’ll collect money/check from you.

    Don’t worry sir, I’ll do this, I’ll do that….



    After sold out your policy..



    Then your representative phone has been switch off..

    Call to customer care: I had no idea about representative.



    About premium: “Sir you have to come here to pay, we will not provide a home pickup facility”



    Convert to ECS: sorry sir.. you cant give it so early (when you reach AVIVA Branch some time)

    After some time: Sorry sir, you are late. Now I can’t convert it into ECS



    Ohhh….

    After converting your premium in to ECS:



    Your ECS will not start automatically, you have to come office.

    Bill has not been presented automatically.

    Premium has not been updated automatically.





    So as per my understanding, taking AVIVA Life insurance is my big Mistake.

      Dear Sir,

      My complaint against AVIVA life insurance co.Ltd. is as under.
      (Complaint no 2071283, Policy no.AFL2675471)


      1. I have purchased an AVIVA policy from Indore on 09-09-09 Policy No. AFL2675471.

      2. I have received the policy documents too late and on receipt of the policy I was astonished to see that it is not that plan which I have opted, decided & requested for.

      3. Immediately the matter was brought to notice of AVIVA agent Mr. Sanjay Kashyap, the person who was in frequent touch with for the purpose.

      4. AVIVA agent has put blame on me for this mistake but ready to change the plan on paying Rs. 25,000/-cash for new policy and I have paid the amount in cash for the changing policy plan with a condition that he will arrange the refund of Rs 25,000/- on cancellation of previous policy no. AFL2675471.

      5. AVIVA agent has promised me to refund the Rs.25,000/- of cancelled policy within 15 days. He has confirmed that the old policy no AFL2675471 has been cancelled and new policy no LBD2803493 issued.

      6. New policy no LBD2803493 has been received on[protected] but he has not refunded Rs.25,000/- of cancelled policy till date and dilatory practice being adopted by AVIVA agent on this case.

      6. I am running pillar to post since Oct 2009. I have also traveled from Mumbai to Indore and met Branch manager and Zonal Manager for settlement of this case with concern branch on 11th to 13th Jan 2010 and returned empty hands.

      7. It is clear cut unethical business practice of AVIAV that first sold wrong policy and when customer cry for change than charged him extra & equal amount to change the plan and never refund the previous amount.

      I request this forum to intervene and provide justice to me.

          I had taken aviva short term (3yrs) policy in 2005. i had paid 2 primums of 20,000rs for 1st 2 yrs. then in 3rd i had checked for policy details, then i came to know that my policy agent had made my policy as LIFE LONG instead of SHORT TERM, then i stopped paying primums.now my policy is in paid upstatus.i called AVIVA they said policy will be active for long life. but 1 week before thay said my policy is going to close , i will not get any money back.
          ..... i have filed a complaint in AVIVA site. but nobody has contacted or responding.
          they are just sending the AVIVA complaint manual. and answers.

          I am having similar experience - AVIVA is a cheater - they sold me wrong policy - showing multiple hundred % returns and then selling life long policy. after five years of payment my policy's surrender value is in only 50% of what I have paid to these cheater. I am going to file a complaint with IRDA to get refund & advise all here to take the same route to teach AVIVA a lesson.
          AVIVA is a big cheater.The agents are big cheaters.
          I advice not to take any policy of AVIVA & surrender the policies
          if you see the return to be equal to the total paid money.Because even if your policy is matured you are not going to be benifitted because at tat time also they will deduct miscellenous charges

            Dear Sir,

            I have worked with Aviva Life Insurance as a Sales Manager in their Guwahati Branch from 14th May, 2007 to 19th Sep,2008. My Employee Code is 8218 and my PF No, is DL/25803/8168.

            I have applied for my PF withdrawal on 11th Oct,2008. But till date, I am yet to get the updated status for the same.

            I am geeting no feedback from the company and the PF Department.

            Pls let me know by what time I will get the proceeds of my PF Claim.

              I have taken a policy at Aviva Life insurance for Monthly premium of Rs.2000, which accounts to 24K p.a.
              where i have been given a life cover (Sum assured of Rs.2,76,000), where us there is possibility for me to go for an life cover of (Sum assured of Rs. 8,10,000).

              If you look at the illustration, for the low life cover. i'll getting return of approx 14,00,000 (after 23 Yr as per 10% growth). But even if go for a higher life cover as per the illustration i'll be getting return of approx 13,50,000. (after 23 yrs as per 10% growth).

              I came to know about this provision for after 2 years (i.e. after paying 48,000 to them). I have requested for opting for higher life cover. Its been approx 45 days past there is no postive reply from them.

              By comparing the above, i have put into a loss of about 5,00,000. So when any one talking up the policy with aviva, please go through and ask for more details.

              I would recommend not to take policies from Aviva.

              I am totally dissatisfied with aviva. I feel like Aviva has just robbed me of my hard earned money. I have taken a policy ( ULIP growth fund- life bond five unit linked) 3 tears ago for nearly 2 lakhs & it has not grown even 10000(ten thousand rupees) even after 3 years.

              The plan which was offered for me had hidden charges up to 40% and i hadnt known about it. Fisrt of all why aviva have such policies/ plans which mean to rob naive customers. aviva came out to be cheaters for me.

              Now they are giving the reasons like, the plan which was given to me was really a bad one & my fund was managed very badly. I would rather say they robbed me as i was very naive while taking the policy n hadnt known anything about hidden charges.

                This is to bring your kind notice that I had taken a policy from AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE CO. under policy no WLG1332171. Initially your executive had explained and committed that according to the plan of policy we are entitle to get 26% annual return..



                But eventually when I checked with your customer service the status of my account is that, the fund value is now become ½ of deposited amount and if I want to surrender the policy now, I will not get any returns on same.



                How ridiculous is this? I am very surprise to see my records, the company has not come up on their commitment. The company has cheated me through false commitment made at the time of policy taken. Its totally harassment. It may be possible that some other peoples like me facing this kind of trouble.



                I have spoken with your CS dept 3 time from 01 of Nov (01 Nov shewta, 13 Nov Prabjot, 20 Nov Rashmi) but I have not get any positive revert from them.



                Finally I surrender my policy at the time of surrender the policy confirm by your repersentive amount of 14795Rs but I get the cheque of Rs10267.00.So pl revert me on this and confirm when I get this balance amount..





                If you guys are not able to get this rectify and close immediately, then I will surely take it up with higher authority.

                  I had applied last month august’09 due to lack in proper service, I had request to correct my communication address which was previously wrongly maintained on the policy document, but when I received the document for the second time my address was same which was earlier.Disgusting whan i received third time totaly wrong mantined addresed.I unable to show my confidence in the company for so many year when my grievance in not being addressed properly right now also.

                    This was extremely pathetic……moreover I jus wanna highlight the same issue to the grievance cell …..please look into this matter & help me out in getting the relevant info. From the Aviva.

                    I’m writing this letter to inform you how inconvenient it is for me
                    when I m not getting response from Customer Service Dept. in spite of
                    calling to ur customer care many times. My Complaint no. “ 1785156
                    “ Dated 5th Oct, 2009.

                    Also, this policy was mis-sold to me by ur agent Mr. Darpan in 2005.
                    Due to all these factors I had taken a decision to surrender my policy
                    from this company who express their Tag lines that they have more then
                    300 yrs of Experience…….but That’s seems to be a mis-conception
                    atleast in terms of providing Service.

                    I regret to inform you that I have never had to face such problems in
                    all my dealing with any of the insurance company in India.

                    I request you to kindly look into the matter and atleast answers the
                    questions which I raised in an appropriate manner , Although my
                    experience with AVIVA was very Pathetic……….Becoz this is my 2nd policy
                    which I m going to surrender today

                    My Aviva fund investment advisor Mr. Amit Mobile Number +91 [protected] associated with me for the last three and a half year. On his advise I invested INR 1, 50, 000.00 in FIRST FAMILY PLAN and I got the policy issued by AVIVA bearing policy number LFG 1649393 which started on 17.08.2007. I was explained by Amit that this is one time investment policy and the locking period would be 3 years from the date of commencement. He lured me of his every possible effort to invest in this scheme. I did not go through the policy documents as he made me cunningly convinced and I developed trust on him. Today after completion of three years when I intended to redeem this policy, I was stunned to learn that the Policy term is 10 years and the locking period is five years which he never disclosed to me and always in replying to my query he kept on saying that this is going to be matured on 17th. Of Aug 2010. Today my fund value is INR 1, 52, 000.00 but due to premature redeem of the policy I will get only INR 1, 36, 000.00 which is unbearable to me at this juncture. Why Amit kept on lying? What was his motive behind not disclosing the facts with in three years. What would be with those people whom I introduced with this man and he might have cheated them also. Aviva did not play fair with me and I am constrained in taking up the matter in court of law. I am cheated, I am aggrieved and hurt. I do not want any thing extra but my principle amount worth Rs.1, 50, 000.00 + saving interest. I would have been getting good interest if invested in LIC or savings. If my principle amount worth Rs.1, 50, 000.00 + saving interest is not refunded to me with in one week then a case will be registered against Amit as well as Aviva. I request people like Amit in Aviva that they should stopped cheating the innocent public from now so that the court may extend leniency for your early acquittal.

                      I have take a ULIP policy form AVIVA in 2007 and that time they informed me that only 3 premiums are to be paid and after that the money can be withdrawn from the policy i.e locking period is 3 years and no surrender charges applicable after that. But now when my policy has complete 3 years then i come to kown that 62% of first year payment will be detected as surrender charges.
                      Now i am very shocked.... I invest my 75K hard earn money in AVIVA ULIP plan and after 3 years i have only 55K in this fund total loss of 20K and after detected of surrender charges i will only got 48K.

                      After investing 75K i will only got 48K...... so i am requesting for every one that plesae plesae dont go for AVIVA option. They are cheaters....cheaters....cheaters....cheaters

                          I have been given big promises by abn amro bank and forced me to take two policies the deyalis r as fallowas
                          1 aviva yearly premium 360000 policy noSVG1169986 date of starting 29/4/2005 no of years stayed invested 4 YEARS
                          2 aviva yearly premium 108000 policy no NLG 1249119 date of starting 28/4/2006 no of years stayed invested 3 YEARS
                          At the time of investing abnamro bank peaple assured me that minimum ur returns per year will be 6% to 10% .
                          I AM REALY SURPRISED ABOUT THE FUND MANAGER WHO IS HAVING SO MUCH MONEY WITHOUT FEAR OF ANY REDUMPTIONS AS THE LOCK IN PERIOD IS 3 YEARS IS NOT ABLE TO GIVE US GOOD RETURNS JUST COMARE TO OTHER EQUITY WHEREIN WE R GETTING
                          60% RETURN ALSO .IS UR FUND MANAGER IS NOT ACCONTABLE .WHY AVIVA IS NOT ASKING THE REASONS FOR SUCH BAD PERFORMANCE OF THE FUND.

                            Mis selling by AVIVA representative (ABN AMRO)

                            We have been cheated by the AVIVA and ABN AMRO representatives by false statements and going by the company’s brand name, we believed them.

                            The product SAVE GUARD policy of AVIVA had been miss
                            sold by the ABNAMRO representative to us, we were told that only 3 premiums are to be paid and after that the money can be withdrawn from the policy i.e locking period is 3 years and no surrender charges applicable after that....

                            sir on sept 2005 i had purchased a life long policy from aviva[ unit plan / unit linked plan as annual priemium of Rs 50,000.00 since from that time annually i m depositing my priemium on very right ,here it is well to intimate u that while selling this policy to me as there officer MR DUBEY [ INSURANCE COMPANIES OFFICER EMPLOYEE ] has told me that what so priemium deposit they will aloot us an issue units as per privilleged rate o[censored]nit NAV BASED I FOUND THAT THEY R NOT MAINTAING THE ALLOCATION as per the commitmnets that after deduction of office bearing charges , and above all to intimate u that what units they allocate me r reducing by every fresh allocation by every ,year on carry forward balance they r also deducting the units holding charges , by deducting my units from preiviouslly allocated units , as i m not satisfied with thier account maintaining system , i found that they r fooling us some where bcoz my amount is totally is secure fund and in gap of five years nav has rose upto Rs 15.96 but after deposting of total amount of Rs 2.50.000.00 in five years [50000.00 *5] still my fund value is in negative form i.e. Rs 2,32,000.00 appx
                            .it means very clear signals of fraud in allocation and mainting the record of allocated unit in records .here requesting to all of you .please gate away of these companies ,still .in my opinion lic is best n better option for insurance related option ..
                            If he go for surrendering fund he will get only 1.5L, just close the fund - suggestion.

                              sir co is not paying my rider benefit as mentioned in policy to pay Full insured on any nine major disease occurs in policy period ,as they says that treatment was not taken as per there norms or they r not satisfied with the treatment taken on my HEART ATTACK as it was commited to pay full insured value ,on any problem out nine major disease ,in which HEART ATTACK is aloso mentioned ,now not paying my insured value ,and as well as case is also running in INDORE BASED CONSUMER FORUM ,

                                Hi

                                My EPF was wrongly transfered to another account by my previous employer. (CholamandalamDBS Finance ltd.) Account No.TN/51445/984. Which should be transfered to DL/25803/7142. Wrongly credited to DL/25803/742.

                                Now i have resigned from the current employer ( Aviva ) and i have received the epf amount of Aviva.

                                But not received amount from cholamandalam.

                                Kindly advice me how can i get the refund ?

                                  Dear Sir/Mam,

                                  This is in reference to AVIVA ULIP Policy that was sold to me on 13/11/2007 by ABN AMRO Bank employees accompanied by AVIVA Bank asurrance employee.

                                  My policy details are as follows:

                                  Policy Name: AVIVA Saveguard
                                  Policy Number: RSG1315285
                                  Premium amount: Rs. 18000/-
                                  Selling Date: 22/08/2006

                                  I would like to highlight the following points in connection with this sale:

                                  a) These guys introduced the company AVIVA and its product offerings to me.

                                  b) They miss sold the product to me as they never informed me about the charges associated with the policy even after the lockin period,(Now only, that too after constantly probing the customer service desk I am informed that there is no partial withdrawl and only option i have is to surrender the policy and they will cut around 40% of fund value as surrender charge. As per the IRDA guidelines they can cut a nominal ammount if some one surrender the policy before 5 year but i am surprised that 40% is not the nominal value so how can they cut that much amount.)

                                  c) Contrary to this, I was given verbal assurance that I'll get an amount of close to Rs. 60,000/- on my investment of 54000/- after three years which is again an act of miss selling the product. In addition to this I was informed about many other benefits about this product.

                                  d) I was quite skeptical in going for this product but after continuous pursuals and assurances by these guys and follow up calls by AVIVA Sales Manager & ABN AMRO Bank Manager, I finally went for it.

                                  e) I feel that this is a very unethical act by your company as you first lure the customers by showing the sunny side and once they fall into your trap, only then they get to see the flip side of it.and i am also suspecting the future of aviva in india if they will follow the same way.

                                  I have also sent a log a complaint regarding this to aviva customer care.

                                  I hope you will take a strict action against these companies and please suggest me the way how can i ( as a responsible resident indian/tax payer) get my money back from them.

                                  I was also mis sold this policy by ABN Amro. I went to open a FD and I was told this policy will fetch me 30%. I trusted ABN Amro and now I am trying to save hard earned money,
                                  ULIP is not giving any returns and I am now 60% down on mu capital.
                                  Aviva is not good and they dont even appear in any ULIP rating.
                                  I stopped banking with ABN Amro also.

                                  I have two polices and paid 1, 60, 000 and now are ready to pay only after deducting 40% of fund value.
                                  I Agree ..Even I am investing in Aviva and after 5 years I though that I should take all the money out as I wanted to invest the money in some thing else..I though I will be getting some extra money.What I found was I will be getting 20000 less.I called up aviva customer care and they said it depends on market.I checked my portal and found that market rate was 3000 less than the amount that I had invested .Rest of 17K goes as bunch of hidden charges which I was not informed about.Now I don't know how to get my lost money .I also asked them that I want to stop my premium payment .They said I can do that but I will still be paying admin/xyz charges until I close it .I think authorities should take some action on this.

                                      a brief on how AVIVA & ABN AMRO cheated me and my husband to the tune of 9 lacs.

                                      My name is Shalini Vig Wadhwa and I along with my husband Prateek, hold the below mentioned Policies of Aviva.
                                      Aviva ULIP Pension Policy that was sold to me by ABN AMRO bank employee Mr. Preetipal Singh, accompanied by banc assurance employee Mr. Ajit Singh.
                                      Policy Details: Number – RPG1696773 / Dated: 28/09/2007 of 6 lacs.
                                      I would like to highlight few points in connection with this sale.
                                      1) I took this policy in the year 2007, October, when these guys introduced the company Aviva and its products offering to me.
                                      2) The sales manager from banca visited my office [Preetipal Singh] and told me that I have to pay a single premium and after 5 years I can withdraw the money at minimum 25 % growth. And along with that I will be having risk cover available for the 5 years.
                                      3) They miss sold the product to me as I was unaware of the regular premiums associated with this plan. They assured me that they would invest the 6 lacs given to recover the balance premiums and I should not worry about it at all.
                                      4) Contrary to this I was given verbal assurance that I will get an amount close to 1200,000 after 5 years of the policy term.
                                      5) To lure me into trap I was offered a single premium and huge risk cover.
                                      6) Strangely, last year my premium amount was due, ABN AMRO employees approached me [Pretipal Singh & Pranjay Dutta] and to my dismay, I was informed that I have to pay regular premium of 6 lacs for the next ten years! All this time no one approached me or informed me on what was happening to my money.
                                      7) I told them that I can’t pay six lacs this year then he said that I can skip this year’s premium and my policy will remain active but on checking with a friend I understood that I have to pay 12 lacs rupee next year if I fail to pay this year’s premium.
                                      I was quite skeptical in going for this product but after continuous perusal and assurances by these guys and follow up call by Aviva sales guys, I finally went for it. I genuinely trusted them and gave them very descent premium. Not once did anyone approach me during the entire year with any feedback on the money paid to Aviva. No statements from anyone on what is the status of this policy. Then the demand for another 6 lacs!
                                      My husband too was lured into the same trap. He was sold the same kind of policy twice within a month!
                                      He has 3 policies of AVIVA – Tune of 3 lacs
                                      · Number – ALL1983685 /Life Long – Unit link dated 28/04/2008
                                      · Number- ASV1997502 – Safe Guard dated 06/05/2008
                                      · Number- LLD2024556 – Lifelong –Unit link dated 27/05/2008
                                      We are really very disappointed with the Aviva and with their wrong & false commitments. Agents being hired to sell policies that end up completing their targets where as people like us suffer.
                                      By doing such things probably they increase their business but at the same time they are breaching the trust of the customers.
                                      We feel this is a very unethical act by both ABN AMRO & Aviva as they first lure the customers by showing the sunny side and once they fall into your trap, only then get to see the flip side of it.
                                      We have been asking them to help resolve this issue ever since last year. The below mentioned mails have been sent and stargaely they have accepted their faults but refuse to return the money unless we continue the policy for 3 years.
                                      They have not bothered to resolve this issue till date.

                                      My case also something similar. They are selling their policy by misleading us. They don't provide us complete details. As they know no one will purchase their policy if they told us everything. I don't think so it would resolve if we shout here in the public board. Let's file to the Supreme Court to get the judgment.

                                      Also let's do start a national wide campaign against Aviva using our Media, Personality including their Brand Ambassador..
