This incidence took place on 13th June 2013.
I was waiting for the bus at charkop, kandivli bus stop.
It was raining heavily at that time so i could not take out money for ticket.
The bus came after some time and i got in. Bus was not much crowded.
Conductor was standing near back door and he was asking for ticket as soon as people are getting in.
Since I had two bags and an umbrella with me so it was difficult for me to take out money from my purse standig there blocking door so i nodded him as yes and went ahead to get a seat.
Bus was not much crowded so it was easy for him to let people sit and then ask for tickets instead of blocking the doorways.
I had no idea what happened to him, but after some time he came to me and while coming he hit the back of seat so hard that i felt the pain so badly and then arrogantly ask for ticket.
And the conversation was like this
Me: 1 Nirlon.
Conductor: what?
Me: (bit loudly since i thought he did not hear) Nirlon
conductor: What is nirlon?
Me: It is a bus stop
Someone interfere : Stop next to chincholi bunder, there is a nirlon society
Conductor: Ha, to nirlon society bolo na
Me: (amazed) are you new here?
Conductor: Ha to, 3 hi din hua (yes, only 3 days here)
(Now thats really stupid, I did not get what difference does it make if i say, 'nirlon' or 'nirlon society' since there is only one 'nirlon' stop on this route. He was acting as if i just told him stop name as 'society' and did not mention which society)
Me: Then you would have said so, that you new here and dont know the bus stop names. There is no need to shout. Pls behave.
Conductor: Kya, kya ?
He again started shouting as what, what?
I got so disturbed and started looking for his batch number and as he realise that, he went to back door.
(Through this whole conversation he was talking very arrogantly and angry bad shouting tone)
While getting down the bus, i asked driver for the name and batch number of the conductor. Driver said that, his name is Ganesh (dont know bactch number and surname).
Bus number is 224 and time was around 2020 (8.20PM) Date: 13 June 2013
Hope some one will teach some lesson to this guy and others like him so they will behave properly with normal peoples.

BEST — Bus not stopping at bus stops
Yesterday ( 9th JAn 2009), I was waiting at Ghatkopar Depot bus top to go to Hiranandani Powai . There are 3 buses from here ( 382, 524, 489)...but after waiting for 30 minutes ( 6:50 p.m to 7:20 p.m) ...one 489 arrived and I boarded the bus..the bus then direcltly stopped at Shreyas and then at Vikroli Depot and at Vikroli station ...and then at IIT market ...and the when I was suppposed to get down at Hiranandani the bus did not stop there and it stoppped few meters away...My question is ...who has given the condcutor and the driver the right to skip stops ???
Are we fools to keep on waiting at the stop and the buses not stopping ...and the frequency is so bad...
And there are no inspectors at the bus stops...
And that too on this day there was auto strike so roads were empty ...so no question of delays...
I am born and brought up in Mumbai and I would say that BEST services in some routes are deteriorating !!!It is really Sad.
My suggestions are as follows:-
1.The board "only 22 standees" should be removed...if there is crowd in the bus it is the discretion of the passengers whether or not to get in.
2. The buses ought to halt in all the stops...this needs to be ensured...
3. Frequency of the buses should be monitored...and in this case of the 3 buses ( 489, 524 and 382)...only one bus arrived that too after 30 minutes.
IF THIS IS THE CASE SLOWLY PEOPLE WOULD START AVOIDING BEST BUSES AND START USING AUTOS / TAXIS AND OTHER MEANS...AND THEN EVERYBODY WOULD START FORCING OTHER BUS SERVICES TO BE IN EFFECT IN MUMBAI!!!
