Few months back bus route nos. 336 and 337 were cancelled !!! I was shocked...These routes were very efficient...and these 2 routes were one of the oldest routes ( more than 30 years !!!).
I stay in Hiranandanai, Powai and the only bust to go to Ghatkopar is 392 ( which has an erratic frequency ). And this bus goes inside the Hiranandani complex hance the persons that want to go to Ghatkopar from Panchkutir and Hiranandani stops ( on the Adi Sahnkaracharya Marg ) have no buses !!!

My question is how could you remove thses 2 buses ???????????????????????
This is UNFAIR...I would suggest to introduce these routes ( 336 and 337 )...if not a long circular route then s shortetend one ...It is a nightmare to go to the Ghatkopar in the peak hours from here..

this is with the refrence of route no 337 i am agree with few changes made by uttamkhobrade sir in route no 337 now u can see this route in plying in govandi to mankhurd coz there were lots of demand for the same route, othere hand area like hiranandani has an ulternet route to cath diffrent buses.
i agree with u but u have do better way to solve the problem of the passangers.
I HAVE ALSO OBJECTION FOR CANCEELED THE BUS ROUTE NO.488 FROM BORIVLI STATION(W) IT IS DIFFICULT FOR PUBLIC WHO ARE IS GOING TO GHATKOPAR, NO BUS FOR THEM BORIVLI STATION(WEST), KINDLY RESTART THE BUS IMMEDIATELY OR OTHER SOLUTION

I was regular traveller of 488 bus from ghatkoar to malad near saraf college...but after the bus was cancelled, there was no option for me but to board rickshaw from dindoshi bus depot as the bus route was changed and last stop was made to dindhosi, which cost me 25rs in rickshaw, please look in to matter and try to bring in solution, or start a bus from dindoshi to malad station via saraf college, sarvoday

    As per the rudeness of Bus drivers we are facing more and more problem. How come normal man goes through this?

    Bus No. MH 01 L 8109 Ticket No.[protected] timing 10 am Bus route is from Agarkar Chowk (Andheri east ) to Bamandayapada accident occurred in Borosil Bus stop

    This is today case Bus driver not stopping bus on bus stop and talking rudely with customer a old lady trying to stop the bus in bus stop but he was not ready to stop and when i stopped him by going in front near driver seat of bus he stop the bus then he talk the lady in rude way & giving police threat to me.

    so plz do the needful to survive in this city

    Ref: MH-01-L-8306 (Bus Route No. 37) on January 13, 2009

    Respected Sir,

    I work for the US Consulate at Breach Candy and have been traveling by BEST Bus No. 37 for the past many years. On 13-Jan-09 I board from Kurla Market MH-01-L-8306 bus No. 37 which starts from Kurla Station at about 07:09 hrs. The bus fare is Rs. 14.00. I give two Rs. 10 note to the conductor on duty. He returns back one Rs.10 note saying give me change. I tell him that I have no change of Rs. 4 and that he can give me the change as and when he gets change, I also tell him that I have to get down at Parsi General Hospital so by then he should get change.

    Here he starts talking badly, he replies back saying in Hindi “yahaan kya chute paise ki khaan rakhi hui hai kya, purse mein chutta rakhti hai lekin dene ko hota nahin hai.” I still tell him politely that, “agar mere paas chutta hota toh mein kyon nahin deti”. He further adds a bad note by saying, “tera toh har mangalvar (Tuesday) ka natak hai” I feel bad and insulted when he said this, obviously anyone would be. And this same conductor has been on the same bus several times. He knows I am a daily commuter. Then I tell him, “lekin mein toh office Monday se aati hun, toh aap Monday ko duty pe kyu nahin aate ho”. He further adds, “agar chhutta hoga toh dunga” and he moves away behind. I don’t know what bad language or bad words he used in Marathi then that the commuter who were sitting on the back seats, started laughing loudly. I tried taking down his batch No., but it was quite blurred I could’nt read it. So I only noted the bus No. I kept waiting for him to return the change, but he did’nt. When my destination was about to come, I got up at Breach Candy stop and moved back, where he was sitting right at the back seat. I forwarded my hand, he returned Rs. 6 but all in 25 paise change.

    That same night I returned from office and headed to the Kurla Depot at the Kurla station. We meet Officer Bhalerao there and narrated everything about what happened that morning. Mr. Bhalerao was very co-operative. He asked if I had retained the bus ticket, but unfortunately I did’nt have it. He said it would be very easy to trace who was on duty with only the bus ticket. I told him that I have the bus No. He made few calls and then requested that I return tomorrow morning at the usual time and speak to Mr. B.D Jadhav (S.221)who will be sitting inside the office and request him to call Mr. Ainave ([protected]) Mr. Bhalerao said he will speak to Mr. Ainave and inform him about this whole incident.

    I return next morning, Wednesday January 14, 2009 at the station depot. Ask for Mr. Jadhav, he did knew about us and said that he was aware of the case. I told him that Mr. Bhalerao has requested him to speak to Mr. Ainave. In the meantime there was another conductor who is also on Bus 37 most of the time and he knows me. Seeing there was something wrong, he started enquiring, I asked if he knew who was on duty yesterday on the same bus 8306, he immediately said SASTE was the reliever yesterday. I told Mr. Jadhav see this conductor knows who was on duty yesterday. Jadhav immediately scolded that conductor and asked him to keep shut.

    Mr. Jadhav did call Mr. Ainave on his cell. I don’t know what they spoke and then Mr. Jadhav hands over the phone to me. I speak to Mr. Ainave, I tell Mr. Ainave immediately that Jadhav knows that SASTE (supposedly)badge No 194409 but Mr. Ainave also ignores this. He tells me to keep continuing traveling as I do on daily basis and as and when in future I come across the same driver, I should just retain the ticket and submit it at the depot. But then I said, that could not be soon, it could even take days, weeks. He said that’s fine. I said shall I give a complaint in the complaint register he said NO. He then again speaks to Jadhav.

    Then I ask for the complaint book, but Jadhav denies to give it to me, I said, I just need to put in to records, but he again denies, gets angry, talks badly, saying I am not allowing him to do his work and that I should leave the counter immediately. I tried to explain to him that I as a passenger have all right to lodge a complaint. He says he cannot give me the complaint register because his boss (Mr. Ainave) told him not to give. I was getting late for work, I board the bus. My husband still waited there.

    We know a Sr. BEST officer Mr. Nazir Hussain, my husband contacts him and tells him how Mr. Jadhav who is on duty is not giving him the complaint book. Mr. Nazir Hussain asks my husband to wait there. He joins him in another few minutes. He stands behind my husband and tells my husband to ask for the complaint book once again. My husband does as Mr. Nazir instructed. Jadhav again denies and then Mr. Nazir steps in front of my husband. Mr. Jadhav immediately stands up and says, Sir you. Mr.Nazir ask Jadhav why are’nt you giving the complaint book, to which Jadhav says that Ainave had told him not to give. But on this Sr. Officer’s instructions Jadhav finally gives the complaint book but says that since my husband is not the complaint, I will have to go and give the complaint myself.

    I hereby request your goodself to kindly look into this. Who was the conductor, who does’nt know how to talk to passengers, specially a lady. And also Mr. Jadhav.

    I always travel on the route Parel to Sewri Today i.e 21ST Jan i boarded the bus route no 162 at parel which starts from worli . I had a pass which is valid till 1 April 09 .The conductor took my pass and askeed me to take a ticket and stated that the pass was valid only till 1 jan 09 i stated that the pass was removed on 2 jan 09 how could it be so we had a heated argument in the bus as the bus arrived at sewri i went into the depot and told the tc about it The batch no was 18112 and 88295 he was wearing two batches
    Pls look into this matter and get it resolved how long are we common and innocent people giong to be touchered

    This is to bring to your notice that the BEST bus no 63, does nt halt at the Gandhi market stop Near Sion even though the bus is half empty and there are almost 1-2 passengers waiting and giving signal from hand for stopping, patting bus body with hand and continuous 2 buses do not stop

    now frequency also has been reduced from every 10 minutes to 25 minutes, This is happening every day between 8.30 to 9.30 am, for last more than 1 month now our tolerance limit has been finished, females can't get into running bus

    everyday we get late for office due to this bus driver and conductor not stopping bus, every other bus is halting then whts probelm with this bus, cud u pl. tell us solution?
    63 is only bus for going to lower patel from Matunga East and it does not stop at the Gandhi Market stop in office timings between 8.45am to 9.15 am
    we have been fed up now for last 1 yr. bcoz of atitude of these bus driver and conductor, as we live near habor line and office being on western line we cant go by train also

    Pl. solve our problem for welfare of public, so that we can reach office timely

    Since last couple of days, we are seeing that, you are extending Bus Rout No. 504 Ltd (till shilp Chowk - Kharghar from Wadala Depot.) from 1st June 2009. But you choose the Route through Navarng through Shivaji Chowk till Shilp Chowk.

    [1] In that route Roads are too narrow, even, if two buses are come across, their is no space to cross
    [2] In that ruote so many othe NMMT buses are also running.
    [3] We don't think you will not get that much passangers also,
    [4] We prefer it will be passing thorugh Navang Hotel ---> Kharkool Corner --- > Ragunath vihar ----> Sector -19 ---- > Kassar Garden ------ > Shiilp Chowk.
    [5] In this ruote no any othe Bus service, none other than NMMT Route No. 52
    [6] Even this Bus No. 52, is running very poor, not manitance to properly, even the public are accepeting
    this and accomedating.
    [7] This Route very help full to all othe peoples are in MURI GAV, sector 20, 21 & 35 also.
    [8] This area so much public travelling via train toward DADAR, MATUNGA
    [9] If you are condiser this request, BEST will get good collection and service to public.
    [10] This request will help all peoples are living these area,
    [11] If you suggest this, who are using their own private vehicle, to reach their Office/Busines destination, surely support your Department and you will incerase your profit margine.


    Pls look into this matter and consider our request, for medium class & poor peoples living this area.

    This is yesterday on A.C. market Bus stop Bus driver not stopping bus on bus stop that’s why I was going to run and catch the bus with my painfull left leg and ask him why not he stop the bus on bus stop bus driver and conductor talking rudely with me and he talk rude way & giving police threat to me.

    Bus No.410, MH 01 LA-5914, 3196 Timing 21. 50 p.m. Bus route is from Amrut nagar to Mahakali

    This is yesterday on 17/07/2009 Ganesh Mandir, Bhatwadi Bus stop, Bus driver not stopping bus on bus stop that’s why my wife was going to run and catch the bus from front door of the bus, because she already let for her night shift duty, but same time the bus driver rudely speaks " O BAI PATHUN CHADHA NAHI TAR ME GADI CHALVANAR NAHI, KHALI UTARA MHANTO NA NAHI TAR POLICE STATION LA GADI GHETO " my wife said sorry next time i do the same i was in hurry so i use this way. but the bus driver rudely spoke with her & giving police threat to her.

    I was standing at the fountain busstop at ghodbunder road dated 30.07.09 but the BEST bus from Borivali to Thane (No MH-01 LA 6379) at 8.45 am did'nt stopped at the stop.The driver was driving the bus from the extreme right of the road.The conuctor gave a double bell for not stopping the bus.
    Such a negligence in providing service to public during peakhours when they are on their way to school, college & office .
    Hope you will attend this matter seriously.

    ABEST King Long bus caught fire on LBS Marg on Saturday. This is the third instance of the expensive King Long buses catching fire in two years; each bus costs around Rs 55 lakh.
    Saturday’s fire was brought under control in a few minutes, investigating officer and Parksite police station sub-inspector Sudhakar Bhande said. “But despite that, the bus was gutted, ’’ he said, adding that the 30-odd passengers, the driver and conductor of the bus escaped unhurt. The incident occurred around 9.15 am and all passengers were accommodated on another bus. But the incident triggered a traffic snarl on the busy road; it took around three hours for the traffic to return to normal as the bus had to be towed away.
    The bus (route 461) was plying from Borivli to Mulund. Its driver immediately called officials at the BEST control room and fire engines were sent to the spot. “A minor short circuit in the engine caused the fire, ’’ Bhande said.
    According to officials, some problems were reported on the bus on Friday and it was a mistake to bring the bus out before repairing it. BEST general manager Uttam Khobragade said that the damage was not much despite police and eyewitness accounts saying the opposite was true.

    Bus No. 489 (MH 01 L 9664) not stoped at Virvani stop on 11.8.09 on 7.00pm. Same thing happned with same bus on 14.8.09 at Surya Nagar (Vikhroli) stop at 5.00 pm.

    Dear Sir,

    I believe that "the best bus service in India is B.E.S.T." I alwaya say this to all my relatives / friends stay in Mumbai or any where else.

    I'm a regular passenger of your Bus Route No. 521 from Koparkhairne to Priyadarshini at 8.42 am. As per the Time table provided by BEST at Koparkharne Starting Point there are 2 bus services between 8.30 am and 9.00 am. of Route No 521 -- one at 8.42 am and other at 9.00 am.
    Since last Tuesday (3/11/09) major irregularitie are observed:
    - On 3/11/09 : Bus at 8.42 am starts before 9.35am
    - On 4/11/09 : No bus at 8.42 am is turned up; Bus at 9.00 am starts at 8.55 am
    - On 5/11/09 : Bus at 8.42 am starts around 8.40am
    - On 6/11/09 : Bus at 8.42 am starts around 8.35 am
    - On 7/11/09 : No bus at 8.42 am is turned up
    - On 9/11/09 : Bus at 8.42 am starts before 8.35 am; Bus at 9.00 am starts at 8.52 am

    You are requested to please see that timings of these buses are maintained since these are the vital buses during peak office hours.

    It is also being noticed that there is no bus (Route No. 501 & 521) between 11.15 am & 12.00 noon from Koparkhairne. Even it comes it does not stop propely at MSEB stop. Today two 501 buses do not stop at all.

    Please look into the matter and take necessary action so that my belief of "B.E.S.T. is the best" does not change.

    BEST NOT ACCEPT Rs.1000/-&500/- NOTE

    I WAS TREWALLING FROM MULUND TO DINDOSHI.
    IT WAS 7.15 AM. OFFICE TIME. AS ALL IN HURRY AT THIS TIME.I ASK TICKET TO CONDOCCTOR AND GAVE HIM Rs.500/-, (AT THAT TIME I DIDEN'T HAD ANY CHANGE.) AFTER LOOKING Rs.500/- NOTE CONDOCCTOR REFUSE TO ACCEPT Rs.500/- NOTE AND HE SAY DO YOU DON'T KNOW
    THAT BEST NOT ACCEPT Rs.1000/-&500/- NOTE. IS THIS TRUE ? IF YES THEN WHO GAVE RIGHT TO OVER RULE ORDER OF GOVERNOR/RBI, IF NO THEN BEST SHOULD INSTRUCT ALL CONDOCCTOR ABOUT THE ACCEPANCE OF Rs.1000/-&500/- NOTE.AS PER GOV. RULE NO ONE REFUSE ANY CURRANCY NOTE.IT IS CRIME.
    I stay in MIDC Andheri East near Seepz. In order to travel to Rabale Railway Station (Navi Mumbai), Bus no- AS 525 is one of the AC buses which suitalbe for me. I have noticed lots of times that it IS not stop at the Rabale Railway Station Stop for no valid reason. I wait for 20-25min for the bus..

    Kindly do needful.

    Please refer bus no. 360 Kurla East to Trombay this bus is coming late becasue of frequency has been reduced from every 15 minutes to 25 minutes, This is happening every day between 9.30 to 10.00 am, for last more than 3-4 month now our tolerance limit has been finished, females can't get into running bus

    360 is only bus for going to Kurla East to Trombay and Trombay to Kurla East.

    Please note down my complaint is only for frequency of buses not for Driver or Conductor they are very co-operative with us they are stoping bus regularly on bus stop even it was full.

    Please take necessary action about frequency & revert back with details.

      Respected Sir,

      I, Mrs. Prachi Pradeep Revandkar always catch a bus from Bombay Central with my two daughters who are 6 years and 3&1/2 years old. Whenever I entering in the bus by back door with my daughters, some passengers are in hurry and they do not want to wait till my daughters enter the bus and they are telling me to go in the bus by front door only with my small daughters.

      Once I caught the Bus No. 66. My younger daughter went in the bus. But I couldn't able to enter the bus, Conductor rang the bell and the bus started and I stayed down only. That time the Bus Conductor told me to enter the bus by front door only whenever I will be with my small daughters. No one will stop you to enter the bus by front door whenever you are with small children. From that time, whenever bus was crowded and I am with my small daughters, I go by front door only.

      But today, when I entered the Bus No.66 with my daughters by front door, the Driver of the Bus ( Batch No. 87202 ) behaved with me so rudely, talked to me with very bad manners and asked me to get down the bus with my small daughters. I told him about the above incidents happened with me before but he don't want to listen anything and he asked me to show any rule or law and to get down from the bus. I also told him that I will come by back door but let my daughters in bus. But he was not listened to me.

      This is not the way to behave with me when I am with my small daughters. If I was alone and enter the bus by front door, then its ok if he ask me to enter the bus by back door. But today I was with my small daughters, how come he is telling me to get down the bus. This is not a humanity.

      Sir, please take the notice of this and take the necessary action.

        Hello,
        I travel from Chembur to Mahim by 376 bus everyday since last 2yrs.
        Day by day the frequency of this bus is going down.
        Now a days i have to wait for 1 hr or sometimes more for this bus.
        Many a times 4 buses comes in 5 minutes gap and then for 2 hrs no bus.
        The drivers sometimes didnt even stop the buses at bus stops though not their fault coz no1 can enter the jam packed buses.
        I agree nowadays there is heavy traffic problem in sion, but this cannot be an excuse.Many buses like 521 ltd covers a long distances and passes through very crowded places like sion, matunga, dadar then also the frequency is maintained.
        how??
        Why 376 route is neglected everytime???
        Please the concerned person look into this matter asap.
        Its very frustrating reaching office late everyday!!!

        I observed that in some buses it is not possible to find the bus no. till you go in front or left side of the bus i say why sould not be visible from all four sides so that one can see the no of the bus from far and go for his right bus rather than go around

          To the Concerned Authority,

          Sir

          This is to bring to your notice that the BEST bus no 203, (Vehicle number - MH-01-LA-5345) starting from Juhu beach didnt halt at the Natraj market stop at Malad west even though there were almost 10-12 passengers waiting for the bus including me.
          (24-December-2008 at 8.52pm) I also waved out my hand & the bus just sped away. I caught the same BUS at the signal and the driver and conductor were behaving as if it's their FATHER's bus and did'nt give me the complaint book when I asked for the same.

          Later, on the same route the driver did'nt stop the bus at 6 stops on route eventhough there were passengers waiting for the bus (Milap theatre - 8.59pm, Kandivali station - 9.04pm, Borivali telephone exchange - 9.34pm, Ram mandir - 9.40pm and Bhagwati hospital - 9.42pm)

          As soon as I reached Dahisar bridge I got down to register a complaint to the duty master. He refused to give me a complaint book for me to register a complaint. Morover, he also did not have a ID batch while on duty.

He further told that if there are no passengers to get down & if the driver couldnt see anyone the Bus will not halt. I agreed to this but i did tell him that there were 2 passengers waiting, to which the conductor didnt pay any heed & didnt even apologize. instead his tone was very loud & his language was harsh & abusive. Both, the conductor & the driver refused to give thier names & thier name ID was not displayed on thier shirt.

          Station halt — Station halt deleted without notice

          I have booked tickets from Chennai Egmore to Bhubaneswar for 13 Oct by train number 5629. The railway bookings were done in September for the passnegers - Mr Hairhar Patnaik and Mrs Minati Patnaik. At the station, I spoke to the sation master (dont know his name) to confirm whether the halt in Bhubaneswar is there as Orissa floods had broken a bridge. Upon asking him twice, he got irritated but confirmed me saying that it would stop in Bhubaneswar and the route has been resumed. he said if you dont want to beleive me, go and ask some other person. Doesnt know what customer service is evn though it is his duty to answer my query!! :(

          Upon reaching Viayawada, the TTE confirmed that it would not stop in Bhubneswar!! The next stop would be Tatanagar on 15th Oct afternoon. I am a retd man with my wife travelling in the train. It is a harassment to people like me who believed the station master in Egmore. I again booked a ticket from Tatanagar to BBSR after a lot of worry.

          I wish to lodge a complaint against the station aster who was on duty in Chennai egmore on 13 Oct afternoon and also pl refund my tickets from Tatanagar to Bhubaneswar.

          I have also experienced the similar problem today.
          This is regarding bus no 459 that runs from Malwani depot to Mulund station.
          Today bus didn't stop at Chincholi Bundur stop in malad (west) where people including me
          were waiting for the bus for as long as 45 minutes. I desparately ran after the bus
          as I was getting late for the office. I was able to board the bus when it got stuck in
          the traffic. I saw that there was enough space in the Bus so I asked the conductor
          why he didn't stop the bus. In reply he said he forgot it.
          This has happened many times Particularly with Bus no.459.

          This is for your kind notice regarding behaviour of BEST bus employees. I am a frequent BEST bus commuter and always had high regard for the efficiency of your bus services. However, I recently had a bad experience while travelling in a BEST bus where I was shocked at the rude behaviour of the driver towards me. This is in reference to BEST Bus No: 362 that goes to Kurla Station (E); Time: 8:10 A.M.
          While nearing the bus stop, I was getting ready near the front exit of the bus when the driver started behaving rudely. He kept on making rude verbal abuses without making it clear what was wrong. I alighted at the bus stop and the driver was still being rude. One must understand that in a metropolitan city like Mumbai people from different parts of the country will be residing and may not understand and/or take too kindly to many such verbal abuses.
          I sincerely request you to consider such incidents as serious and take neccessary action so that commuters are not harrassed while travelling by BEST buses. I do recommend your employees(especially drivers) anger management and disciplinary classes to check their rude behaviour (if any).I would also like to suggest that all BEST buses should give sufficient time for the commuters to alight the bus before starting off. Jumping into the bus while at the bus stop is not a practical option for older people and ladies. Thanking you in anticipation,

          Please read the details of the incident below: -
          I with my husband were in a bike at sector 26 stop, with us there were 2 other females to board the same bus. Bus driver did not stop. So my husband rode me to the next stop so that I could catch the same. On boarding the bus at next stop, driver started shouting and cursing on mother’s name because bike was in front of the bus so that he doesn’t start the bus before me getting into it (we did not think there was any other solution to stop that bus).
          On telling him that it was his and conductor’s fault, he simply denied the fact that the 2 females were running after the bus seeing the bus was not slowing down. People on bus also agreed the fact. Later, one of the female came from another bus after it, to catch this 524 bus; she also raised her concerns to conductor and driver who were then speechless. She also mentioned that this incident is happening since 3 days.

          I told him and to you, who ever will be taking the action (if at all) after reading the complaint, that it is both driver’s and conductor’s responsibility to halt at the stop at least for some seconds even though there is nobody at the stop. Secondly, the driver, or anybody for that matter, has no right to abuse the passengers.

          Would appreciate your immediate action on this; let me be informed about the same.

          I have also experienced the similar problem everyday.
          This is regarding bus no 207 that runs from Malwani depot to Dahisar.
          Today also around 10.05a.m, 10.15a.m bus didn't stop at Ekta Nagar stop in Kandivali (West) where people including me
          We were waiting for the bus for as long as 20/25 minutes. I desparately ran after the bus at 10.15 a.m.
          as I was getting late for the office. I was able to board the bus when it got stuck in
          the traffic. I saw that there was enough space in the Bus so I asked the conductor
          why he didn't stop the bus. In reply he said he forgot it.
          This has happened almost everyday, Particularly with Bus no.207.

          I travel regularly from the bus (605, 606) from the bus stop named(Shivaji Talao) to Bhandup station. I have noticed that in the morning between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, if the bus stop has around 5-10 people standing, the drivers of these busses either do not stop at the bus stop or stop way ahead of the bus stop even when the bus is not fully crowded. Even if they stop the bus way ahead of the bus stop, they are in hurry to start the bus even before the commuters have boarded the bus successfully. Yesterday when I boarded the bus 605 at 10:15 AM from the stop, a lady who was the last person to board the bus was about to fall out of the bus as the bus started while she just boarded the bus, luckily for her that the other commuters grabed her. Please have a look into this issue.

I once again request you to take this Suggestion on VERY VERY HIGH PRIORITY

          Please record my complaint from Takshila Bus Stop 392, 308, the bus frequency is more than 30 to 45 minutes and sometimes the bus take more than hour and also Sai Baba Bus stop Mahakali Road, the Bus Route 333 is also mostly packed beyond capacity. The bus frequency is also more that 45 minutes. The people of Mahakali are sufferring, but the bus routes for Seepz is too much Route 415 most of the time is empty. The bus travel is become very erratic and adding insult to injury the Metro Rail Work at Chakala make travel from Mahakali to Andheri Station nerve racking and tedious. Save the people from Mahakali and see that more bus frequency on Takshila Route and Sai Baba Routes are restored to normal. The bus waiting time should be at least 20 to 30 minutes and not more

          This is to bring to your notice that, Bus No. 185 which leaves from Vikhroli - Kannamwar -2 to Andheri Station & vice versa, does not have name plate in the Bus Indicator, because of this passengers are unaware that the bus will not go till the destiny that is Andheri Station. All the passengers, i.e. somewhat 7-8, have to wait hours and hours for this Bus. If there is TRAFFIC all the way from vikhroli to andheri, then why just dont increase the number of busses. Even if I leave office from Chakal at 6.00 p.m. I reach at 9.00 p.m. or if I leave office at 7.00 p.m. I reach home at 10.00 p.m. Is this what the services are provided to the passengers. All BUSES comes in 5-5 minutes, then why cant Bus No. 185.
          Also feeling very strange about the service of B.E.S.T is pathetic. No one can stand rude conductors and drivers.
          I have always found myself in lurk, either busdriver stops the bus at the middle of the road or he just skips to stop at the bus stop or sometimes forcefully asks the passengers to get down even if there is distance 1/2 k.m or so.
          Kindly look into the matter and please resolve these problem, because all buses has timetable but only bus No. 185 doesnt.
          We have no option other than to wait for the bus for long-long hours.
          I fully agree with most of the complaints listed here. For the past 2 months now, I have noticed that the frequency of BEST buses is very poor. I have to wait for 20-25 minutes at Santacruz Depot waiting for the 422 and 324 which arrive late or arrive fully crowded. There used to be Route 336 which was convenient but that has now been cancelled from Santacruz Depot and it becomes very difficult for elderly ladies like me to board Route 422 or Route 324 as the men rush for the bus and do not allow us to get in.

          On account of the poor frequency of buses from Santacruz Depot to Marol, I am late to the office almost every day. Some buses do not halt at certain stops. Sometimes I have to take Route 225 to go to the bridge to board buses headed for Marol due to the infrequency of the Marol Naka buses. I have noticed that most often buses do not stop at the Andheri Bridge stop because they want to avoid the crowd. It would be nice to have more buses from Mahim to the Marol Naka route or Santacruz Depot to Marol Naka to avoid overcrowding.

          I see a lot of buses going empty on some routes either because there are no passengers for those routes . If BEST is making losses it is because of deploying empty buses on some routes and also sending two buses one after another plying to the same route e.g. Route 422 or Route 324 and most often Route 221, 33 etc.
          The intervals for buses should be spaced at 15 minute intervals and not 5 minute intervals.

          In the evenings when I take the bus from Andheri station Route No.84 is cancelled at 7 pm and the last bus from Andheri station is at 7.15 pm. Sometimes we have to wait for over 25 minutes for this bus.

          Please look into this matter.
          Dear Sir,

          I have been seeing a lot of buses these days plying between Powai Hiranandani and the Western Suburbs, but there is not a single bus from Mumbai City (specifically Dadar and South Mumbai area) to Powai. Considering the fact that Powai Hiranandani is the corporate hub now, it is very much necessary to have a direct bus service connecting the city to Powai.

We could have met with a severe accident .The car was occupied by infants and small children along with adults.We couldn't take down the bus no. or route no. just the bus registration no i.e MH 01 L 8915.
          We request you to kindly give your drivers proper training once again .Once again because the road scenario has changed now as the construction work of METRO has occupied most of the road space so they cannot drive rashly.

          Some of the conductors are really getting rude these days. They start fighting on small thing or a small unknown mistake by passengers. They use harsh and abusive language while fighting. They ask for extra money instead of correct ticket value from unknown commuters. These are mostly young conductors. Some of them constantly talk on their mobile and ignore to give tickets to waited passengers. Also if a girl or lady wearing a modern dress comes in a bus they start peeking them through bad eyes inspite of others watching them. Because of this many of women are not travelling though best nowadays. Such behaviours will only make a bad reputation to people about BEST.

          So, such conductors should learn some manners. Necessary actions should be taken on complaints against such conductors.

          BEST buses are main mode of road transport in Mumbai city and we salute the work of all BEST employees. But behaviours of such conductors will ruin the name of BEST. So this should must be taken into consideration seriously.

          This is to bring to your notice extremely rude behaviour by bus conductor. I took bus no.324 from Vile Parle (West) station to Santacruz Depot at around 1.00 PM on 31st August 2011.

          The fare from Vile Parle station to Santacruz is only Rs. 4/-. Unfortunately I did not have Rs. 4/- change.
          I handed over Rs. 10/- note to the conductor, but the conductor insisted on change of Rs 4/-. I even showed him my wallet to prove that I did not have change; however the conductor refused to listen to my request. The conductor was very rude & started shouting on me. This despite the fact that he was carrying change in his bag.

          His shouting & rude behaviour became intolerable so even I had to shout back on him. He then stopped the bus & forced me to get down. Since it was causing inconvenience to other passengers, I had no option but to get down.The bus then sped away which did not make it possible for me to take down the bus no. or the conductors batch no.

          This kind of behaviour was uncalled for since I genuinely did not have change with me & the conductor despite having change with him, did not want to give it.

          I request the BEST management to kindly look into the matter and address it.
          Hope my complaint will not go unnoticed & proper action will be taken against such extremely rude & errant conductors.

            Sir,
            On Goregaon-Mulund Link road (i.e. Aarey Milk Colony road), the bus frequency is very less. Only 3 bus ply on these route (460, 398 & 489) with an average time interval of 10-15 mins. During peak time, it is simply not possible to board these buses on said road due to heavy crowd in bus. However, during off peak period (say early morning or afternoon time) when buses are quite empty, most of these buses dont halt at bus stops on aforesaid road (courtesy - double bell given by conductor). Before bus reaches the bus stop, conductor gives double bell indicating driver not to stop bus and hence driver stops the bus either at some distance before or after bus stop (only for passengers to get down).

            On some ocassions, conductor keeps on saying that "another bus is coming from behind, please leave this bus", but no bus comes.

            I appeal to higher authorities at BEST to please investigate and look into this matter. Please ask your staff to show courtesy to halt the bus and carry passengers atleast when there is some place.

            i Mr Mahesh presently working at Andheri and living at Thane, Jambali Naka. Traveling from my resident to working place becomes very costly, because from jambli naka i abored in TMT buses it costs 7 Rs to Teen Hath naka, after then BEST buses chares.
            So the BEST buses should reach atleast to Thane West station. It will be very realible for me and peoples like me. So please look in to the matter for early.

              AS B.E.S.T. is aware of the traffic from andheri station to Mulund, there are some buses which start from Andheri Station, Marol Depot.

              But there is no bus starting from Seepz to Mulund in evening atleast.

              Seepz has large number of travellers who travel daily to Mulund, thane.If the bus is started from seepz then it would mean lot of c rowd being diverted to those buses and hence crowd will be reduced on those staring from andheri Stn and Marol.

              Marol has 2 buses starting 307 and 444, Andheri 422 and 409, 496.But Seepz there is none.

              Also currently the BEST buses dont halt because of rush near IIT market .The buses from seepz will also help the crowd from those stops to get into the bus.

              Please do take this seriously as it will benefit a lot of people.

              There should be lot more buses from seepz to kanjurmarg, As a lot of people board from kanjur( similar to seepz-andheri)
              -going from mulund-andheri takes a long time. seepz-kanjur being short-distance, will reduce the load and also the buses can be more frequent.
              -this will reduce load on existing buses 496, and othere which ar emeant for thane folks.
              I do agree with preeti statement, This is special request to BEST to take necessary action for the same.

              from Thane to Andheri. The AS-4 A/C buses should start from Cadbury Junction. Presently these
              buses are starting from Modell Bus Depot which creates lot of problems for Thane passengers, as
              they have to travel by an Auto upto Check Naka and then walk upto Modella Depot. There is lot
              of harassment by Auto drivers apartn from the traffic nuisance en-route.
              BEST should therefore, extend the AS-4 buses upto CADBURY NAKA which will facilitate

              Sir,

              Would like to bring to you kind attention the poor managment on the part of those employed at the Marol Maroshi Bus depot(Andheri East).I had to take the Bus number 35.Now this bus has certain timings in the morning which are 8.00am, 8.26am, 8.45am and 9.00am. Since most of the working crowd prefer to take the bus according to their timing, they come accordingly, expecting the bus to start atleast on time from the start of origin(first stop)which never happens. Today all at the bus stop of bus number 35 were very annoyed, cause we could see a 35 number bus parked but we had to wait endlessly for over 45min. cause that was timed to leave at 9.00am and the one that was to come at 8.40 didnt make it on time. My question is why couldnt these people not release the bus that was parked ? why did we as passangers have to stand ther at the buss stop till 9.00am cuz the bus had to leave at that time?Its rediculous. I think they need to learn to manage more effeciently.Most of the people were tired of standing at the bus stop n prefered to take a rickshaw instead. So ultimately its ur business and that of the govt that goes on a loss for this kind off managment. Also as a suggestion, you should make it mandatory for the conductor to stand with the crowd at the start first stop, so that the passengers are aware of the bus timings .
              Congratulations to BEST for starting a new service from Brahmand, Thane to Seepz w.e.f. 01-Feb-2010.

              There is a high demand for a BEST bus service from Brahmand to Ghatkopar via Eastern Express Highway.

              If one has to reach from Ghatkopar to Brahmand, it will take roughly two hours by local train from Ghatkopar to Thane and by TMT bus from Thane Station to Brahmand. Needless to mention the packed crowd as well as long waiting for the TMT bus.

              By starting this new service, a person can reach in less than one hour from Ghatkopar to Brahmand.

              Now the bus service from Bramhand Thane to SEEPZ is started... BUT BEST site is also not updated with it...

              where to Look for its timings & route...why BEST do the things this way..

              Now here... they have done every thing except proper info is not given...so every thing goes to waste..
              Starting a new bus route from Brahmand, Thane to Seepz was a good move by the BEST. As I am a daily commuter, I was looking forward to board the bus. But, to my disappointment, I could not find the timings of the bus service or the route details on the BEST web site. This has weakened the benefit of starting a new bus route. It would be very helpful if the route and timings are known.

              Hope the officials will host the details in the website as soon as possible.

              I stay at Kalyan and work at Goregoan Nirlon park.Yesterday and day before yesterday I and two of my collages tried to catch bus no 448 from Vari Bus stop near Madha Colony which was supposed to be there at around 10:20 PM and it is the last bus. On 19/10/2010 IE day before yesterday we waited from 10:10PM to 11:20PM but the bus did not arrive.

              On 20/10/2010 we were at the bus stop at 10:00 PM and the bus no 448 licence no MH 01 LA 5898 arrived at 10:09 but at incredible speed as over speeding is natural on the highway. The bus slowed down but did not stop we ran after it, two of my collages barely caught upto it one of them almost falling off. And then the bus started of speed away at top speed.When my collages pleaded with the conductor to stop the bus, he callously replied the "If your friend cannot run fast enough what can I do.". Are even supposed to catch buses running? Aren't bus stops built for a specific purpose IE to stop buses

              My question is that even after there was a bus stop and passengers too then why did the bus driver or the conductor didn't not even bother to stop even though it was the last bus, does the BEST think that we passengers should be treated in this manner.

              If you can please look into this matter.

              A lot of comments have been made by various commuters about commence of a direct A/c Bus service from Thane to Andheri. I have also written many letters to the GM BEST. Howver there seems to be no action from any authorities. BEST's suggestion to change over at Mulund is not feasible for all commuters more particularly senior citizens, children and handicapped persons.               The GM BEST is either incompetent or he does not want to listen to the complaints to general public. what else we can say about these complaints which are more than one year old and not resolved by the GM BEST. I have been writing to the GM and also posting my comments in this column for the last one year about a direct A/C Bus service from Thane to Andheri, There is no action from the GM. There are hundreds of commuters travelling from Thane to Andheri including senior citizens, handicapped and children. Does the GM believe in a bifurcated City
              like other petty politicians ? or he wants to run the BEST bus for the benefit of the general public.?

              One cannot catch a bus for Mulund from Seepz> The frequecy of the bus is also too les.Can Any authority take some action on this>also the route of the bus is not written on maximum bus stops.If written these are not visible . check the stop opposite the ESIS Hospital in Mulund.Great is it the BEST

              There are lot of travelers looking for options of people car / Pvt bus from route between Andheri & jogeshwari TO thane and same way Thane to Ansheri / Jogeshwari.

              Currently there is no connectivity.

              Request you to start some service between Majas & Thane till cadbury Junction at least, I sure this will be a profitable route. Lot of people traveling by train will also prefer this route.

              I am regular traveler from Seepz to Mulund (East) with route number 403 Ltd. First of all the bus frequency is too less. One bus plies in 30/45 minutes even during peak hours. The buses are jammed packed. Difficult to get inside if I am not the few lucky people to sneak inside the running bus. The route number is not visible and mostly written in white chocks. How do you expect a passenger to read the route number and enter the bus in 2 seconds (I am sorry that is the max bus waits. sorry once again, that the max time bus reduces the speed. They hardly completely halt the bus). What is the use of technology when you and we cannot benefit from it?

              I would like to suggest the following...

              1. Increase the 403 Ltd. bus frequency during morning and evening peak hours.
              2. Get the repair work done so that route number is clearly visible.

              I am only worried about the bus number 479 which was starting from Goregaon station (west) to Ghatkopar, which I heard the best is goiing to stop which is very bad. First of all people residing at GOREGAON TO do not have a direct bus to powai side and the cummuters have to either come to Highway for borivali or to go to Andheri to catch a bus. The buses coming from borivli are completely packed and we ladies can only see the buses going. In the above circumstances, we will request the best management to either not to stop the bus number 479 or find some alternate solution

              I request you to add Kanjur Marg Station and Hindustan (HCC) BusStop for C-45 route. Because After Bhandup station there is Gandhi Nagar stop and then direct to Vikhroli station.

              And Increase frequency of Buses for all route from Thane to Mumbai (Central or Western side) (atleast After 10 minutes)

                Hello,

                This complaint is about the driver who intentionally hit my car on Sunday 9th November at 11:30pm. This incident happened at the entrance of Renaissance Hotel, Powai.
                I was on my way to the hotel and I also had my indicator on showing the driver that I'm about to take a 'RIGHT' turn. I rightly took a right turn and reached the other side of the road and suddenly I feel something hit my car from the side rear. It was this BEST bus driver who on purpose swirled the bus to the right and then after hitting my car, was trying to go back to his 'STRAIGHT' lane and escape.
                On confronting him as to why he had to do so, this was his reply "You did not give me way to go ahead, so I had to hit you" Hw was also abusive and was using the BEST as a tool to do so.
                He also mentioned, "Is there anyone who has stopped a BEST bus'.
                To me this sentence means that, even if a man is walking on the road and for some reason the driver feels that the man didn't give him side, then he can just run over him. Is this what BEST is all about.
                He was also saying that when the cops come they will make sure to take care of me in a very abusive manner.
                Upon asking for his name and tag #, he said he will just not give it and was very arrogant and with all pride said that "You do what you have to do"
                I had to spend Rs. 9000 to fix the damages and I feel I had to spend it for someone else's mistake who has absolutely no fear of the law's.
                The police were also present after the incident took place. he police officer asked me to file a police complaint. They were from Powai Station as far as I know and you can verify that too.
                Today it is this driver who behaved like this and if no action is taken against him, then tomorrow we might have many more drivers with such an attitude.
                There is absolutely no safety for other commuter's when such drivers are on the road to hit other vehicles on purpose and also accept the same with pride by saying that they did it on purpose.
                I sincerely request the person in charge to take disciplinary actions against this driver and also I will be filing a police complaint against the driver and BEST for negligence and I'm also expect a reimbursement for the amount I spent on the damages caused by the driver. I have the bill to prove it too.

                Below mentioned is the bus details;

                Bus registration #: MH 01 L9998.
                It was from Gorai Depot, #8762.
                Time of the incident : 11:30pm Sunday 9th November 2008.

                Yesterday night it happen with me as well. thank god police was at your side. I was driving bike. only mistake i have done that while asking his ID aand number. I took his BUS Driver Billa & went to Police station. Police did not took my complains. after one hour 30 min they also came to police station because driver billa was with me... they written a complain agenst me IPC-353c. I took a ID from a govt. emplyee.

                over and above police said that " Kuch huya too nahii naa, kuch hota to naa"

                A similar incident has happened to my car today.
                I would like to know what happened about your online complaint.

                The bus driver turned into the wrong lane and banged my car and similarly mentioned that he did it on purpose as he had to change lanes, and that I should learn a lesson from this "that even if I am in the right lane, I should not take panga with a buswalla".

                  The BEST no MH 01 LA 5408 driving on Khar SV road near beauty center on 6th nov '08 at 3 pm desided to crash into my brand new i10 car. He claims tht he was only driving straight when there was no space at all and he was over taking from my left side and cutting in. He drove right in and broke my left side mirror. I wish something could be done against such rash driving. They sould be suspended or atleast a pay cut so that they are taught a lesson,

                  such kind of rash driving by BEST drivers should be stopped. many of our people may have already experienced or got hurt because of this kind of rash driving by BEST drivers, and are silence and never complained regarding this subject.

                  In the interest of safety of innocent people, we should take firm disciplinary action on such rash drivers who do not care for human lives.
                  The route no 489 (from Shivaji Nagar to Dahisar) did not stop at the designated stop at Indian Oil Nagar today morning (31-Mar-2009 at 8:40 am). I was crossing the road towards the bus stop and waved my hand right in front of the driver.On waving my hand, he momentarily stopped but before I could board the bus, it started to move. I was dragged for a good 15-20 feet with me half-hanging on the foot board. I was very lucky to escape with only a couple of cuts and bruises. Imagine the scene if it would have been some senior citizen or a school kid, the public could have taken matters into their own hands.
                  On checking with the driver, he said that it was not his fault if I was not at the stop. Agreed, but he could have at least stopped earlier (which he ultimately did) when he saw in the side view mirror that someone was trying to board the bus. And to top it all, he was quite rude inspite of what had happened. It is the attitude of some of the drivers/conductors like these that cause your image to get tarnished.
                  If you plan to take any action, I can give you the other details, otherwise I guess this would just be another complaint which goes by the way side.
                  I am seniour citizen holding monthly bus pass & regulary travelling from down mill ( lower Parel) to Reay road station by route no.44. I noticed that no bus halts at down mill stop at 5 pm to 8 pm. i have already louge complaints and requested to deput your supervisery staff to look in to the matter but no action has been taken.

                  I also notice sometime 3 buses of route no. 44 comes one after another within 2 to 3 minutes & then there will be no bus for one hour. This results heavy harreshment to public & losses to best.

                  This is CA.Mrs Pallavi Shirvatkar. Daily i travel to Ballard Estate from Churchgate Station. For this i need to cross few hurdles such as Share Taxis which keep coming from all possible directions & frustrated BEST drivers.

                  Today morning i was looking out for taxi (not a share taxi) to go to Ballard Estate. as usual i was trying hard to manage these two main hurdles on the road i.e. making my own way to save myself from share taxis & BEST buses. There is a Bus Stop nearby. Today 138 No BEST Bus driver who was coming towards the Bus Stop drove the Bus so fast & rash that for few seconds i felt may be this is the last moment of my life. when i tried stoping him he started shouting. BEST Bus No 138 Vehicle No. MH01-L-6486 Time 9.45 in the morning.

                  When i enquired about lodging complaint against him to few people, they replied that Traffice police can't control them & share taxis pay regular "HAFTTA" to Police. so nobody will entertain your complaint.

                  Sir, can there be any solution to such problems?

                  I think in India we really don't care about human beings. So what few people die in such kind of accidents. can't there be any discipline?

                  Dear Sir,

                  This is with reference to the grievance against the best bus driver with the registration no. MH 01 - LA 5423 ( 461 heading towards to the Gorai depot). This incident happened near the green feilds (jogeshwari link road) around 10:50 pm today. The driver was a careless driver and was in hurry that he had almost took his bus so rashly crushing our bike on the adjacent car.

                  It was by God's grace that we had balance our bike safely or else we would the victims for the rash driving. Immediately we went to the Dindoshi Depot to lodge a complaint but we were told that the complaint should be made only at the arrival depot as the bus doesn't report to them.

                  It is humble request to the concern authority that they should take this incident seriously and revert to us with the solution. THERE ARE LOT OF PEOPLE SUFFERING DUE TO THIS NEGLIGENT DRIVING. I shall await for the positive response or this will force us to take further actions.

                    I am a resident of Kalanagar, Bandra(E) & the change in time-table of BEST Bus Route No.2Ltd from Marol Depot-Electric House to Marol Depot-Byculla Station & Electric House-Mahim Bus Station is causing a lot of inconvenience to many people staying at Bandra(E).
                    As time-table changed, we have to catch other buses going near Colaba and they are already very much crowded, their frequency is low & they take much time to reach. So, the previous route of Bus No.2Ltd should be restored or the last stop should be shifted from Mahim Bus Station to Government Colony, Bandra(E). This is one of the most convenient places near Mahim to shift the last stop of Route No.2Ltd from Mahim Bus Station. It will benefit a lot of people staying in Bandra(E).

                    I agree with you. ROute No.2Ltd goes to Electric House only till 10:30am. Its an important bus for us as it connects important parts & J.J. Hospital.
                    Its the only bus that goes to Colaba from Teacher's Colony. Please start whole day services till Electric House.
                    I DO AGREE THAT THE CHANGING OF THE ROUTE SCHEDULE OF 2LTD HAS AFFECTED QUITE SOME PEOPLE. BUT I WOULD LIKE YOU TO ADVISE THAT CATCH ROUTE NO.11LTD WHICH STARTS FROM BANDRA GOVT.COLONY AND GOES TO NAVY NAGAR AREA IN COLABA THROUGH AREAS LIKE DHARAVI, SION, DADAR T.T., PAREL, LALBAUG, BYCULLA(E) AND JOINING ROUTE NO 2LTD AT NAGPADA.ALTERNATIVELY YOU CAN CATCH A BUS UPTO MAHIM AND THEN CHANGEOVER TO ROUTES LIKE 1, 51, 83.

                    BEST — Last Stop

                    The last stop of Bus Route 172 is at Saat Raasta, Jacob Circle (Sant Gadge Marg). Can you beleive a Last Stop of a huge Bus in the Circle. This Junction is already overcrowded with a lot of Traffic and sometimes there are 2 to 3 buses parked at this last stop thus causing absolut chaos at this crucial junction. Some notorious drivers even park the bus in an awkward manner and this causes more inconvenience. May I request to move the Last Stop of bus route 172 to some place. Infact it can start from Tardeo Depot of Bombay Central depot which is not very far from this place.

                    Just move this bus stop from Saat Raasta. It is a major problem. Because of tis last stop there is also a office booth which is on the foot path. This is also a big problem for pedestrians.

                    Route No. 2LTD is important route for people of Teachers Colony, Maratha Colony, Vakola, and even Govt Colony ( back of Teachers Colony ) after change of its last stop it cause lot of problem for people especially old people who want to go to JJ hospital, St George hospital, they cant change over at Byculla. So at least Extend upto Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus ( V T ) and other side up to Santacruz Airport or Santacruz Station ( East ) instead of Mahim Bus Station.

                      From kandivali to bangurnagar there are only 3 buses running 210, 707, 205. i want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them. every 3 out of 5 occations this buses comes same time then there will be a half hour break.also their drivers & conductors are very careless specially 707 long route buses, they always skip to stop some of the small stop. I faced lots of trouble with best buses. some time i also argued with conductors regarding this, plz take some serious actions immediately on best buses we public have to face lots of trouble because their drivers & conductors are becoming very careless. plz do feedback to my email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in & on weekends also frequancy is very less, some this buslike 205, 210 whos last stop dahisar bridge some time they runs till chincholi bundur or orlem church (210) why they are wasting petrol to run for such short distances. i observe this buses for short distance they never had passangers, plz do take immediate actions on best buses

                      BEST BUSES — BUSES DONT STOP

                      I regularly commute from Bharat Nagar (BKC) to Bandra Railway Station. It is a regular feature to note that Buses plying on that route in the evening after office hours i.e. after 5 pm (Bus No 310) even if there is sufficient space to accomodate a few commuters, the conductor rings the bell and the bus will go and stop a few meters ahead, or if they do stop they will not allow the bus to fill to capacity. It indicates a lazy attitude on the part of the conductors who do not want to issue more tickets or inconvenience themselves. I'll specifically quote the case of Bus No MH01-L 8169 which went past Bharat Nagar Bus stop on 19.06.2008 at 5.35 pm without stopping though there were just about 8 standees in the bus and 50 commuters waiting at the bustop. This indicates a very inhuman approach on the part of the conductors.

                      I live near PUMP House. I cannot get on to the bus in the morning around 8.30 to 10.30. There are 5/6 buses between Majas and Andheri Station but the number of people travelling is very very high. Forget about a seat, One cannot get inside the bus.

                      Also, in the evening on the way back, All buses are over crowded, people form 2/3 standing lines, it is very inconvenient to travel in such buses. Though 441 is exclusive bus on this route, the frequency still needs to be increased

                      PLEASE get a feedback from Conductors on the crowd, also do some survey yourself and then PLEASE increase the frequency.

                      The bus stop has moved to Pinky theatre but the Stop for 441 is separate from the other buses for PUMP house. Please consolidate the bus stop so that one can choose which bus to take.

                      Best Bus 298 — Frequency of Bus

                      I appreciate BEST Buses, a lifeline of Mumbai. BUT...

                      I live at Rawalpada, Dahisar. We have 298 bus for Boriwali station. Ladies special bus is at 7.45 am, but unfortunatly almost 90% time between 7.40 am to 7.55 am we have hardly buses, so daily we missed 8.10am train, so even after we have bus pass, need to catch auto. And sometims around 8 am, almost 3-4 buses come together. Now what to do with this buses, a BIG QUESTION.
                      I request to BEST, to please not to keep so much difference between two buses at this peak hour.
                      Also new buses windows concept, I dont know who is that NAMUNA engineer who proposed such window style, (no vantlation), earlier was really good, also new bus is having very less passage, they got SHRINK...

                      Bus no 165 has a very bad frequency between 6pm - 7pm in the evening .
                      As there is no other bus from Prabhadevi to CP tank we have to wait for the bus for more than 40 to 45 min everyday .
                      Also to bring to your notice the road from Saat Rasta to two Tank (Do Taki ) is so bad that normally such a distance can be covered in 10 minutes but this bus take more than 30 minutes, as the road is full oh shantis and food stall . also there is a gas filling station which causes a terrible jam every evening
                      Either the frequency of 165 should be increased or one more bus which take the route from Prabhadevi to CP tank should be introduced.

                      Previously I had written to Wadala Depot on 19-11-08 but no action has been taken till date and still the above mentioned bus does not stop at Dadar T.T. Workshop.

                      I happen to be a victim of a person who regularly uses the bus no 62 from Palza to ICICI Bank. This person is notorious and regularly gets into fights with people at the busstop as well as within the bus. Today, the same person had the audacity to even beat and push me around.

                      It is with great distress that I write that the conductor in the bus (The badge on his card read 87072) was laughing shamelessly and unabashedly instead of helping me out. The bus was operating at 8.45 am and the number of the bus was MH 01 H 9132 and the number of the conductor was 87072.

                      Would you kindly explain to this staff member that he needs to be resolving issues and not compounding them with his senseless laughter? Would definitely want to hear from you on this, failing which I would have to approach higher authorities.

                      Good morning, daily I am travelling from Thane Station to Louiswadi by BEST bus (700). While travelling on today (30//12/2008) your conductor of bus no. MH 01 LA 6367 (from Thane 9.40 a.m.) ask for 4 Rs change. I had gave him 10 Rs and humbly told no change with me. He spoke wrong words to me which was not a good. Also aruguing on the same.

                      I travel in AC bus everyday between Mulund Rly Stn and Bandongari in the morning at 7.15 am from Mulund.
                      Recently it has been observed that the air conditioner in the bus is kept OFF (saying that there is cold outside, by respective conductors) and only the fan is put ON.
                      This leads to suffocation and unhygenic ambience inside the bus.
                      Many a times we are forced to open the windows.
                      In spite of putting this point to the duty conductors of the same bus, there is no convincing reply from the staff nor any remedy taken, nither in that day travel nor in the next day's bus.

                      At Gandinagar between 9 to 10 a.m many buses do not stop or they will stop at log distace enven if buses are empty after stading for 1/2 an hour you will get one bus.

                      B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Monitoring the frequency of buses from Andheri station(331,186,434 and 443 )

                      Being a regular commuter of the above routes, I find that all the above buses leave simultaneously one after the other and the latter buses go practically empty. Thereafter there is no bus for 20 to 30 minutes. Thus causing hardships to us coming tired from work /college/or classes and also resulting in chaos since all these buses have been allocated only one common bus stand.

                      Therefore, in view of the above, I request that each bus leaves after an interval of 5 to 10 minutes. The burden of the conductors will be shared and most o[censored]s can travel in ease and comfort.

                      yes even i agree to this... its a real nuisance to go to station in the morning.. the worst part being even the rickshaws arent willing to ply... we do have share richkshaws... but if people have bus passes why would they waste 5 rs... its not the matter of 3 or 5 rs... its the matter for how long we have to wait to get into the buses... i actually leave my house 30 min prior to what time i have to leave because i know that i have to stand for 30 min either for a bus or a rick...

                      I daily travel from Navagam ( Dahisar) to Borivali Station, many times the driver stops the bus before or after the extrance of the bus stop, and before the passenger gets in he starts the bus, or the conducter rings the bell before the passenger gets in the bus as I am a slip disc pateint i have to be very careful .
                      And also the bus driver drves the bus fast on truns beetween Technical stop and Navagam where it is very difficult to balance yourself.

                      we traveling daily from kanjur marg to chincholy bandar but it is surprising that only 1 bus is traveling in the 30-40 min time of interval ie:459. most of the time bus driver is not stopping bus on stand ie: at 7.30am & 8.00am.if you want to travel from kanjur marg to chancholi it will take around 45-min to 2-hour (in traffic ).There are no any alternate option that time you can use private travels.if you catching 461/523/460/398 then you will go to droped at jaikoch or goregoan check naka. after that you can spend 30-40 Rs for auto or wait for 459.If you can monitor this bus then you can see it is most crowded bus .
                      here i requesting to bus company that either you can increase the bus frequency . or provide some alternate bus or route some old bus towards chincholi bandar or skip some stop like L&T & SIPZ.

                      This is related to bus route between Mumbai to Navi Mumbai (502, 503, 505), I have observed that lot of BEST staff are travelling sited on this route after or before their duty hours in spite of public rush.
                      I would like to know weather they are permitted to travel sited & how many staff persons in a one bus?
                      I have also contact at VASHI depot for the same, and depot officer replied that staff members are allowed to travel sited in buses & they are having right to travel after their 7 to 8 hours hard duty. Officer also gave example of private company's bus facility provided to their staff, and it is happening because lot of BEST staff is resident of Navi Mumbai area.
                      But private company's bus service is not related to general public as BEST service. BEST also can give separate service to their staff if so many staff is traveling on this route & avoid inconvenience to public.

I normally travel by this bus and finding that it is becoming very difficult to travel because of very less frequency of this bus as you will find now in these days it has become very busy route. And No other Buses are available in this route. People are suffering while traveling.                       I think like those mentioned above complaints my complaint too won't be responded. But then too i want to bring it to your notice about the harsh driving of BEST bus drivers.
                      On 16the July 2009 we were dashed off from bike by one of the BEST buses near IIT main gate while returning home thus injuring myself and my husband badly and the driver flewed away with the bus and did not care about it at all. I was not able to trace to whom i have to speak for this not only that when i was travelling in our company bus which normally takes the IIT main gate route was badly hit by one fo the BEST buses heading towards Mulund the Bus no. is MH01 A6013 dashed our company bus and broke its glass pane injuring one of our cleaner in the bus. Our bus only wanted to overtake as there were many passangers in the stop he stood in the middle of the road this is not right. What do the BEST bus drivers think that the whole road is constructed for them? As when we were travelling in the bike the driver dashed us but we were in the corner of the road, normally all bike riders go from the left side but do not obstruct any of the BEST buses - the first case. Also the next case for our company bus which was travelling in the middle of the road. So from where can a normal two or four wheeler can drive from ...can you sggest us some solution...

                      Sfy — Hike in Ticket Price

                      I travel from Perambur to Thiruvanmiyur. The ticket price for normal bus is 6 Rs, in a crowded all stop bus. Whereas for the Deluxe bus, it is Rs12 and that too with same crowded, all stop service.

                      My question is why it is deluxe when it has to stop and why I should travel standing in such a crowded bus at double the price everyday?? This is just to loot the money and this bus is not at all worth.

                      The most idiotic part is the closing doors in the deluxe always remain open like a normal bus that too without air circulation inside wth glass windows. Such a stupid design of the bus with double the price. One has to go breatheless traveling in the deluxe bus in such a crowded manner.

                      This is regarding Bus No. 421 which runs from Ghatkopar Stn (W) to Filter pada. The frequency of this bus is very less especially during peak hours.
                      Especially in the evening sometimes for one hour or so there is no bus. Especially the people standing in Chandivali Petrol Pump Bus Stop have no other choice than to wait for this bus as other buses do not stop in this Bus Stop. It becomes very difficult to reach Ghatkopar then. Most of the time bus comes after 30 minutes / 45minutes or 1 hour and it is overcrowded so its impossible to catch the bus.

                      Please increase the frequency of this bus. As this bus travels through the route where there are many offices and most of them prefer to go to Ghatkopar Station by this bus.

                      To reach Ghatkopar Station with in half an hour, 421 is the best bus if there is good frequency of this bus.

                      We want to bring to your notice that there is only one bus - bus no. 45 which is runs between noor baug via J.J. to Churchgate. Bus frequency is very very low. If people miss one bus they have to wait at least for 45mnts to 1 hour.
                      2 - 3 months back bus no. 20 was started on the same route. And because of that people were having 2 choises for the same route. But don't know why the route of this bus has been changed though public response was very good for this bus. Instead of coming via noor baug it goes via sandhurst road station.
                      It is our kind request to you that please arrange some more buses on the same route.

                      It’s been a regular inconvenience for people who catch bus at Hiranandani stop next to Powai Lake. No bus stops at the stop after 10:30PM.
                      Even if there is less people in bus still the same thing. Even if there are many people on stop and we wave hand but no difference.
                      We have to wait for 40 to 50mins many a times to get a good bus driver who would stop.
                      Same thing happened yesterday i.e. 27thOct’09 at 11:15pm. (BEST Bus routs no. 425, bus for mulund west and bus no 2510).
                      The driver or the conductor didn’t stop the bus at stop but went ahead and luckily since there were some people who had to get down the bus stopped. We ran and luckily caught the bus. There was a female who couldn’t catch and she was waiting at the bust stop at that late hr. And who is responsible if something bad happens to that female or any other female waiting at stop and these guys don’t stop the bus.

                      Yesterday was good day I got to speak to Driver and conductor. Really felt bad that these guys are don’t have any humanity at all.
                      When I asked him why didn’t he stop he said rudely “come on come one go ahead” even if the bus was half empty.
                      They when I asked him again he said he as just 20 standing license. I counted in front of him there were only fourteen guys standing.
                      When I told him, he just waved it away.
                      Driver saying “Don’t we have to go home” go home----- then why don’t they roster them self at a different shift if they are getting late. Aren’t they responsible for these people reaching home safely after a hard days work? It’s understandable that Bus guy’s job is also hectic. But that there JOB!!!

                      Hope someone would do something about this. And those few drivers who stop for us THANK YOU! Our family is grateful to you guys for bringing us home safely.

                      B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Driver did not stop at the stop

                      On 27th Oct 2009, at Dadat TT bus not 43 vehicle no MH 01 LA 6658 at 6.44 pm did not stop at the bus stop even i did not heard the conductor bell to proceed the bus ...indicating that driver was in an hurry to go back to the depost as soon as possible .. . Bus was not crowed too...

                      Firstly 43 no bus come every 45 mints and if this happen can you image for how long passanger have to wait for the next bus to come.

                      I am a regular user of BEST buses and have a bus pass. I admire the patience and tenacity of the bus drivers who have to drive along the S.V. Road to Andheri East route. Most people complain that BEST drivers are rash. Some of them are and do not even stop at the bus stops. For example last Sunday I was waiting for nearly an hour at the 91 bus stop at Mahim and the driver just bypassed the stop and stopped ahead although the bus was empty. There are other drivers and conductors who are extremely courteous and I am lucky to encounter these drivers and conductors who in spite of having to contend with the busy traffic and bus loads of passengers and traffic jams and auto rickshaws coming in their way do not lose their temper.

                      I would request you to please increase the frequency of the following buses:

                      324, 336, 422, 84 and 4Ltd. Sometimes there are two or three buses which come together at the same time and then we have to wait for more than half an hour for the next bus. For office goers like me it becomes difficult to reach the office on time due to the paucity of buses on this route.

                      I would like to inform that Bus Route 503 LTD start from sion Depot but are not allowed to board in the bus at depot as the official tell to go out near the Bus Stop get into the Bus outside the depot.As in the Peak Hours for Old person & womens it is very Diffcult to get into to Bus as it over croweded with no queue.My Request is to start Bording of 503 LTD from Sion Dept itself so there will be queue at Depot & old women men will be able to get into bus Easily.I want add one more comment that one Ac Route bus should start from Sion Also bus coming from Bandra are to crowedd during peak hours.as they dont get place to seat at sion .atleast 2 or 3 bus should strat from Sion Depot from Sion to Kharghar

                      Hello,
                      I travel from Malad(E) to kurar village Malad (E) by 601 bus everyday since last 5yrs.
                      Day by day the frequency of this bus is going down.
                      Now a days i have to wait for 1 hour or sometimes more for this bus.
                      Many a times 2 buses comes in 5 minutes gap and then for 1 hour no bus.
                      The drivers sometimes dont even stop the buses at bus stops though not their fault because no one can enter the jam packed buses.
                      there is no any option to go malad station except auto rikshaw and this think makes Rikshawallas special...
                      Please the concerned person look into this matter as soon as possible.

                      IF THE DRIVER DOES'NT STOP THE BUS AT THE BUS STOP AND IF THE CONDUCTOR RINGS A DOUBLE BELL INDICATING THE DRIVER TO RUN THE BUS BEFORE THE BUS STOP EVEN IF THE BUS IS NOT CROWDED, WHAT THE COMMON MAN SHOULD DO?
                      THE ONLY OPTION THUS REMAINS IS THAT THE COMMON MAN SHOULD FORGET WHAT HE IS?

I normally travel by this bus and finding that it is becoming very difficult to travel because of very less frequency of this bus as you will find now in these days it has become very busy route. And No other Buses are available in this route. People are suffering while traveling. So It is a kind of request and suggestion to increase the frequency of Bus no. 387 .Seeking help from the official of Best Transport in this regards.

                      The best bus no. 297 From Boriivali Station to kokanipada are proper whole day but after 9.00 pm the buses are really to late, there is a bus after near about 30.00 minutes, So pls look into the matter & try to solve the problem.

                      of the last 3-4 months, the frequency of bus route no.83 plying from colaba bus station to santacruz depot has become irregular.there is no fixed frequency.sometimes the bus comes at 20-25 mins .sometimes more than 1/2 a hour.ideally this route has a frequency of 10-15 mins.this is a important bus as it covers areas like metro, peddar road, haji ali, worli.this bus takes the short route as compared to other buses to go to metro and other above places.even in the evening peak hours this bus comes at a frequency of 1/2 a hour.as a result in the 1st 2-3 stops the bus gets packed to the fullest.kindly look into it so that the bus runs on time at regular interval
                      also, route no.70, plying from colaba depot(electric house) to dharavi depot from[protected] should be restored back to its original routei.e.colaba bus station.as there are quite less buses from colaba bus station to go to areas like churchgate, marine lines, grant road, mumbai central.

                      The commuters travelling to on this Bus are regularly facing the below problems.


                      1. The frequency of the bus is very bad during peak hours in the evening that is between 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.
                      2. On many occasions the commuters are left waiting for more than 1 to 1.30 hours just for the bus.
                      3. When the bus comes, the conductor does not bother to halt the bus at the Hiranandani Bus Stop (which is opp. Bayer House)
                      4. On 13.11.09 at 6.50 p.m. Bus No. LA6008 did not bother to halt at the Hiranandani (Bayer House) bus stop even though there was space for people to board the bus.

                      I travel from Santacruz to J B Nagar by 336, 422, 324 bus everyday since last 2yrs.

                      I agree nowadays there is heavy traffic problem, but this cannot be an excuse.336 itself move out from santacruz bus depot but this days even this bus frequency is very week, previous after every 15mins there was another bus but now we have to stand 1 hr waiting for this bus, without any option people had to get in which ever paked bus halts at bustop & later there are quarrels & fights in buses..., frequency of all this buses are very week people are facing lots of problem due to this.
                      Please the concerned person look into this matter asap.

                      Now a days i have to wait for 1 hr or sometimes more for this bus.
                      Many a times (bus no 422 ) 2 buses comes in 5 minutes gap and then for 1 hr no bus.
                      The drivers sometimes didnt even stop the buses at bus stops though not their fault coz no1 can enter the jam packed buses.
                      I agree nowadays there is heavy traffic problem, but this cannot be an excuse.336 itself move out from santacruz bus depot but this days even this bus frequency is very week, previous after every 15mins there was another bus but now we have to stand 1 hr waiting for this bus, without any option people had to get in which ever paked bus halts at bustop & later there are quarrels & fights in buses..., frequency of all this buses are very week people are facing lots of problem due to this.
                      Please the concerned person look into this matter asap.
                      Its very frustrating reaching office late everyday. hope you will revert asap & take some action on it.
                      This is in context to the problems and issues faced everyday and now it is becoming highly disappointing to experience it almost every day the following issues: -

                      Ø Buses not plying on time.
                      Ø Buses are not halted at all stops, even though, there is enough space for passengers to board the buses.
                      Ø Foul languages used by conductors and drivers against passengers.
                      Ø No specific counters assigned to lodge the complaints against such ruthless acts.
                      Ø No action taking against complaints made.
                      Ø Complaints are always asked to be delivered in writing but no responses to those complaints.

                      There are many such cases and it is getting worst day by day.

                      Today one of the TC’s (Blue Shirt Employees) went to the extent of saying “Paya pada amchya” (Touch our feet’s and beg for justice).

                      This is the height and we should do something against such BEST employees.
                      On 15Dec, 09 Root No.319, Bus No, MH-01 L-8047, timing 8:50AM this bus conductor did not stop bus at Marol Pipe Line stop, but i don't now why bus is empty & our bus stop is fully rusted by people but what is problem by the driver & conductor that not stop bus please take strike action against this bus driver & conductor thank you

                      Boarding bus from L&T bus stop is impossible for females. Please arrange to start buses from L&T to Mulund / Kanjur Marg so that the females and senior citizens can travel comfortably.

                      BEST Bus — Conductor and driver at fault

                      Today (16th December, 2009) I was travelling in 82 / 76 bus from lamington road whose last stop is LIC Mantralaya...When the bus stopped at LIC at about 10.35 am Just as I was trying to get down from the bus at the last stop , the conductor without waiting for all to get down asked the driver to drive. the driver quickly started driving the bus and I was half outside hanging at the door.....and I started shouting and yelling only then the conductor noticed....request you to please take action against the conductor and the driver. the driver is a young boy. They should always wait for the passengers to get down and only then instruct the driver to drive the bus. Please take action against them.....

                      B.E.S.T. Undertaking — Insufficient buses on Route 327

                      Hi,

                      I am regularly traveling in bus 327 between Goregaon(East) station and Shivsahi Prakalp from last 2 years. However, I find that the frequency of this bus is quite low. I board the bus from Dindoshi Depot but many times am unable to get in as it is very crowded. Sometimes there is no bus for almost 40-45 mins. At the same time buses like 343 towards Santosh Nagar would be running empty one after another.On an average for every 7-8 buses of 343 there would be one 327. Why BEST is neglecting the route 327 while deploying more than required number of buses on route 343.

                      Also I have noticed for BEST buses in general that there would be 2-3 buses of same route running behind one another with the buses which are behind being almost empty. Then there would be no buses for next 30 mins and then when a bus comes it would be fully crowded. If the buses are run at regular intervals instead of such haphazard manner, it would be benefecial to BEST as well as passengers
                      This is with reference to the Bus No. 421, running from Filter pada to Ghatkopar station. I normally travel by this bus and finding that it is becoming very difficult to travel because of very less frequency of this bus as you will find now in these days it has become very busy route. And No other Buses are available in this route. People are suffering while traveling. Not stopping at all stop.So It is a kind of request and suggestion to increase the frequency of Bus no. 421.Normally increase frequency beween 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Seeking help from the official of Best Transport in this regards.Awaiting for possitive reply as soon as possible.
                      I regularly commute from moroli chruch to Bandra Railway Station. It is a regular feature to note that Buses plying on that route in the evening after office hours i.e. Morning 9 am (Bus No 356) even if there is sufficient space to accomodate a few commuters, the conductor rings the bell and the bus will go and stop a few meters ahead, or if they do stop they will not allow the bus to fill to capacity. It indicates a lazy attitude on the part of the conductors who do not want to issue more tickets or inconvenience themselves. I'll specifically quote the case of Bus No MH01-L 9823 which went past Moroli Chruch Bus stop on 4/1/2010 at 9 am without stopping though there were just about 8 standees in the bus and 10 to 15 commuters waiting at the bustop. This indicates a very inhuman approach on the part of the conductors.

                      I would like to bring to your notice the increasing incidents of theft in BEST buses especially in Bus No 226 which ply from Barve Nagar to Borivali. There are a group of notorious women who travel by the bus with an intention of pickpocketing. I had a very bad experience of the same. There were other women also who has complained the same. Request you to please take some necessary action in order to stop them

                      This is with regards to the AC bus no. 707, I board the bus from malad, but the frequency is never 30 mins infact it is much more than tthat.I sometime wait at the bust stop for an hour also and eventually i have to take a rick and go to santacruz.Same thing happens from santacruz depot bus stop in the evening.i have to keep waiting for about an hour.oN ASKING I WAS TOLD BY THE CONDUCTOR THAT WHEN 1 BUS COMES THEN ONLY OTHER LEAVES WHEREAS I HAVE SEEN 4-5 buses in the depot and even when i see 2 buses going in still it doesnt come out and i have to wait still for 40 mins.i think we prefer an ac bus is to avoid train n personal vehicle usage in traffic but it is not solving the purpose.and because of less frequency the bus becomes so overcrowded that driver is not even able to view the left side mirror and he keeps asking people to move inside when there is no space only.please make it more organised.thanks
                      Bus no 460 & 341for the past 15 days between 9.50 am to 10.30 bus deosn't halt at Aarey Dairy.Even if the bus is empty.It becomes very difficult to travel every day.We reach office late evey day.to reach on time have to travel by auto, we cant afford to spend for auto every day, our record in oofice is also getting spoilt, Request you to take an action as soon as poosible.

                      The bus AS 525 is not stopping in Ghansoli Station/Standard Kali/Ghansoli Gaon. So I have to go to Talavali naka to catch the bus. It is far distance from my stop. Some drivers stops the bus in above mentioned stops, some doesn't. And in Airoli only one stop is there but they are stopping in every stops. I really dont understand this. So please provide us atleast two BUS STOPS in between Ghansoli station and Ghansoli Gaon. Because the bus starting from MIDC you will get most of the passengers from New Mumbai only.

                      Introduction of New Bus Route at Andheri-East Railway Station or extend route-39.

                      With the services of Route No.-39 is withdrawn from near Andheri station east, the commuter are left to the mercy and dependency of bus route No. 2 Ltd alone. The said route is extended to Electric House but the frequency has remained the same. Traffic jams further affect the frequency and thus the commuters have to wait very long. To avail any alternate route the commuter either has to walk across Fly-over Bridge or go to Parle incurring additional bus fare.

                      If route No. 39 reintroduction is not possible, then we all sincerely request the authorities concerned to introduce a new route originating from Andheri (East) railway station such that it will cover Koledongari –Smabhaji rd. Shhan Talkies Parle (East) station, Parle Milan sub-way to join S.V. Road for Santacruz-W, Khar, Bandra, L.J. Rd. Mahim, Matunga, Dadar, Prabhadevi, Worli to J.M. Mehta Road or any other destination which the company finds it suitable and feasible. We hope that the request will receive a favorable consideration and that Andheri East residents and commuters shall have an alternative route.

                      Yesterday on 24/02/2010-AC Bus number Route Number-422 ( No 1166 Majas ) for Agarkar Chowk at around-8 :30 am to 10 am -Got problem and due to which it stopped many times in Intervals( At Gandhi Nagar, IIT., Powai lake, L & T etc) and finally it stopped at SEEPZ Depot. And then we were arranged a Double Decker Bus for the remaning distance to Andheri Stn.
                      Thanks BEST for arranging backup for Consumers.

                      But today on 25/02/2010- I was shocked to see a driver of Bus route number -403 ( MHO1-L 9262) for Agarkar Chowk at around 8:30 -10 am - driving this Bus so recklessly that it almost took 2 Lives of Youths -one at around Powai Police Station and second near L & T. Both the time the Buses didnt stopped at the stops- Ram Ashram and L & T, Due to which the guys who were trying to board it almost got entagled under the Tyres. the Guy at Ram ashram managed to save his life and he boarded the bus and Hit the Driver and Abused hm . Totally Driver was more at fault than that Guy.

                      Please take action against such drivers which can spoil BEST's name like the way Delhi's Blue Line is defamed in Delhi for killing people/Consumers via Accidents. If Possible make 403 as Super-fast i[censored] cant control such speeding drivers.

                      This is to inform you that, we are regular travellers from Free Press Journal Stop. Everyday we face lot of problem. We have to stand in a queue for long time. From the same stop, buses to Churchgate also leave and the frequency of Churchgate buses is so much that sometimes only 2-3 people travel. Why dont u increase the Buses for V.T i.e. Bus No.12 or Bus No.1.

                      Accha!! when one bus comes after a long time, that bus is also made to wait aside empty by the Controller, dont know what is the logic. Here is bus line is going on increasing and people like mad are standing in a queue.

                      Atleast during the PEAK hours, we all would like to request you to increase the BUS frequency. Also previously there was double decker for this stop. Now, u are sending only single decker that too sometimes it is 'BAKRA BUS' i.e. only single seat bus, it is very very disgusting.

                      Please increase BUSES in the evening time i.e. from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and take the Blessings of the peope, AAM JANTA.

                      I[censored] take immediate action, we all will be very thankful to you.

                      This is our earnest request!!! Please do the needful as early as possible.

                        I travel daily from Gokuldham medical centre stop to Veetbhati stop daily since last 2 years every morning the ticket for the same is Rs. 4 today morning the conductor No. 38573 in the Bus 347, (MH-01 LA 6184) gave me the Rs. 5/- ticket. When I asked him the reason for the same he was exceptinally rude and did not listen to anything i had to say. He almost shouted on the top of his voice which was embarasing for me.                         We the undersigned hereby submit our grievances regarding inconvenience caused to the passengers travelling by 440 Ltd. and 448 Ltd. from Borivali (East) Station. The grievances are as under.
                        The above buses leaving from Borivali does not stop at Samata Nagar, Kandivali due to which passengers boarding from Samata Nagar, Kandivali has to wait for a long time and we cannot reach office in time. If at all the bus halts at this stop the conductor ring the bell and the bus starts due to which male passengers can board the bus but lady passengers cannot board a running bus. This happend upto Gundavali-Jogeshwari.
                        Hence we request your goodself to kindly may necessary arrangements to start the above buses from Samata Nagar, Kandivali (East) Bus Depot also so that we are not put to inconveniece and relie[censored]s from this trauma which we are facing day to day. We suggest the pick up timings as under.

                        Every day I travel by AC Best bus and has a pass . One conductor makes lots of noise by chatting to the female passengers loudly without any manners and disturbing other passengers

                        which reached national park at 7.30pm .I do not have the bage number of the conductor.

                        i take bus no.303 from kalidas mulund west on 22/5/2011 with my wife, daughter, mother & father both are Senior citizen at 8.45 am i also have 3 luggage and when ask for tkt conduter of the said bus told me buy 2 luggage tkt along with my travel 5 tkt for bandra terminal, which i bought and happily start my journey, but when i arrived at destination i ask for tkt which i produce and checker reply that i instead of 3 luggage tkt i have 2 tkt which i bought as per told by bus conduter, but said checker fine rs.110/- for to get 1 luggage tkt short.

                        yesterday my son travel 2 bus no. 280 fr dahanukarwadi 2 mahavir nagar t 7.30 p.m.he lost his mobile so now a days so many cases come our knowledge so many theft done in best buses like thef of mobile, pocket, & ptherthings so i requst best 2 keep forward 2 yr dept. because theft theftmobile or pocket but after we have 2 suffer lot so please whatever u do by fr yr side do & take this matter seriously ok
                        so many cases of mobile stealing come under our knowledge in best buses now a days a big gang after stealing of mob, purse or etc. so pls do something in this matter because after stealing a thief enjoy & we have suffer a lot & lot that we yesterday suffer my son lost mobile very expensive fr best bus no.280 my son entered fr dahanukarwadi stop t 7.30 p.m. 2 mahavir nagar a big gang mobile theft gang surounded him & took away mobile. theft enjoy but we suffer till night 12.00 because we start procdure 2 stop card & other process so pls do fr yr side & take more security acton.
                        Most of the Best buses do not stop at mukund stop, even if the bus if the bus is empty.
                        there were many school students suffer because of this.
                        please do the needful so that each bus should stop at their respected bus stop .

                        BEST should conduct some communication classes for their staff, so that they can atleast speak in a polite manner.

                        I boarded a bus at Amar Mahal (chembur W) today morning in Bus no 27 (reg No 9515). The bus was going dead dead slow and before next stop, 4 other buses over took this bus. After the next bus stop also, the same story. When i told the bus driver that i will not reach office in time and another college girl told that she will get late for exams. Instead of answering in polite and good manner, he told that you should have got the other bus 354 (Shivaji Park one). I told that for Prabhadevi i can't catch that bus. He was telling that you should have got that bus and changed later since you have pass. But the college girl was telling that she do not have the pass. How can the driver so irresponsible and answer so badly to passengers since they get salary with our money.
                        When you board BEST Buses, see the place where driver sits. It is so dirty and full of dust. BEST do not bother to wash of dust the place. Atleast the driver should dust the place before sitting on his seat
                        I saw today's Times of India about article of King Long Bus. I sent a feed back in BEST UNDERTAKING.COM long back regarding the neatness and the condition of the A/C buses.

                        I travel from Doordarshan to Chembur. When 111 NMMT bus started, This bus goes full and the BEST A/C bus prior and after come empty since these buses are dirty and lacs speed and it is very noicy and not lit properly. If you see NMMT bus, it is passing all the requirement and hence it is full. I spoke to some passengers and they stopped renewing the passes since 111 is comfortable and stops in most of the stops and very neat and convenient and can read books because of proper lighting.

                        Very sad that BEST was best and now it is WORST.
                        Myself Subhash Monde. on dated 05/03/2012 at janakalyan nagar 243 bus stop when i sat in the bus the bus conductor told me that this bus will leave at 8.00am but i was in the bus at 7.45am the ticket no. [protected]/190492 & removed the ticket also. At that same time another bus came & the 1 bus conductor told me that the other bus which came will leave at 7.45am ticket no.[protected]/155574 & again i have to buy another ticket. So please arrange the time according to public service.

                          BEST is operating two different routes for Thakur Complex Kandivali East. Route No.300 operating from Kandivali Station and Route No.400 operating from Borivali Station. Now problem is that on Both route service is not regular particularly on route no.400 where generally Bus is coming after 20 to 30 minutes. Where on route no.300 bus is coming frequently but not regular in evening time so many times it is happening that passenger are standing on stop at Kandivali Station Depot first stop Bus of Route No.300 coming but they keep it in side that is also not one Bus But some time 3 to 4 bus and than they will send all the Bus together.

                          my complaint regarding double decker, it has came into existence 8 to 10 decade before now its seems these double decker are beinb submerging in front of our eye. i have been staying in town from last 25 yrs its like i m pure addict of double deck, its very difficult to get in to the single deck pls look into the matter

                            As per the BEST rules only Handicap, Senior Citizen, & Pregnanent Lady can Board from front Door (Except Starting Point). But in reality People other than this Particularly BEST Staff, Police Personel and Pass Holder who are not authorise to board from front door than also Best driver allowed them. Even after repetedly complaining to General Manager BEST no action taken
                            I hav da same complaint as to why is der no proper implementation of rule equally to all. Today da bus driver didnot allow me do board da bus from d front door but he allowed some gents to enter from front door. When asked the driver told dat pass holders are allowed to enter from the front. i just want to know the rule for entry from front door. Arent the rules same for all
                            SUB: Rude behaviour of BEST bus driver

                            Dear Sir,
                            This is for your kind notice regarding behaviour of BEST bus employees. I am a frequent BEST bus commuter and always had high regard for the efficiency of your bus services. However, I recently had a bad experience while travelling in a BEST bus where I was shocked at the rude behaviour of the driver towards me. This is in reference to BEST Bus No: 362 that goes to Kurla Station (E) via Chembur; Time: 8:10 A.M.
                            While nearing the bus stop, I was getting ready near the front exit of the bus when the driver started behaving rudely. He kept on making rude verbal abuses without making it clear what was wrong. I alighted at the bus stop and the driver was still being rude. One must understand that in a metropolitan city like Mumbai people from different parts of the country will be residing and may not understand and/or take too kindly to many such verbal abuses.
                            I sincerely request you to consider such incidents as serious and take neccessary action so that commuters are not harrassed while travelling by BEST buses. I do recommend your employees(especially drivers) anger management and disciplinary classes to check their rude behaviour (if any).I would also like to suggest that all BEST buses should give sufficient time for the commuters to alight the bus before starting off. Jumping into the bus while at the bus stop is not a practical option for older people and ladies. Thanking you in anticipation,

                            I travel from Chembur to Kurla daily from past several years [Route no.361 and 367 sometimes 431].

                            Today, as there was crowd at back door; illiterate people and some cheap commuters were getting in; some women decided to get in by front door. Even I wanted to board the bus from front door, when conductor stopped me. He was using abusive language and forgot that he was talking to woman. Even driver supported him. I alighted and went to back door, when driver started the bus. Somehow, I managed to catch the bus.

                            When alighting at kurla, i told driver that because there was very cheap crowd behind, we wanted to get in safely by front door, you should understand genuine problem. He said, just get down & get going. This was very insulting. Conductor came running from back door. He was literally shouting at me with abusive language. I alighted the bus; I was shocked so much that I did not note the bus no. also.

                            Can BEST authorities take a note of this issue? Why rules cant be changed? BEST have started daily pass system inspired from Bangalore transport. Why can’t they follow them again in this matter? In Bangalore, all girls/women are allowed to get in by front door despite of starting point or in-between halts.
                            I completely agree i think Lady commuters should be allowed to alight from the front door I am sure all the men will disagree but its because of some few men only there is a problem how do u expect the females to get in when mostly all the men are hanging near the rear door.

                              Hello,

                              I stay in RCF Colony (Bhandup East). There is a bus #445 which first/last stop is RCF Colony till recently. Last week, the last stop of the bus was changed to one-stop after our RCF Colny (ie. Sri Krishna Society) as the people from that stop (Society)doesnt get a place to sit during peak hours (as the bus gets filled in RCF itself).

                              20 years back in Bhandup (East) when RCF quarters was constructed, the people of the society together applied to the BEST to start the bus. Now since the Sr. Krishna Society people does not get place to sit in the bus they made the BEST to make their stop first/last so that their society people get to sit in the bus.

                              I just was to ask one thing to the BEST, how can you entertain such request. On what basis did you change the first/last stop of the bus. The people of RCF are now made to get down of the bus and walk to the next stop to catch the bus.

                              Please explain,

                                Dear Sir,

                                My office has rcently shifted to Kanjur Marg and i stay at evershine ngr - malad(W). There is only one bus which goes to kanjur marg and that is bus no 459.

                                I have to take this bus everyday on both ways i.e.morning while going to office and evening while coming back. To my surprise the only bus i.e. 459 which goes to kanjur marg does not even have a good frequency. As a result this bus is always crowded, be it in the morning or in the evening. As a result, it is really inconvenient for female passangers like me to travel in this bus. But we have no choice because there are no other alternatives. Even if we are ready to pay some more we dont have the facility of any A/C bus running from evershine to kanjur.

                                I want the authorities to understand the plight of the people especially the female passengers who have to go through this frustrating hell everyday and work on something like increasing the frequency of existing bus no 459 or else introduce some other buses (A/C).

                                BEST — Suggestion for AS-503

                                Request you to please increase the frequency of BEST bust AS-503. In the morning 1st bus starts at 8:00am from Kalamboli. This is v late. Request you to start a bus at 7:45 am also.

                                  I recently moved to a flat in Kopar Khairane, specifically keeping in mind the new AC buses started by BEST on the Vashi-BKC route. I even took a quarterly(3 months) pass to travel in these buses.However, since the last week, all the AC buses(505) have been terminated.

                                  No explanation or reason has ever been given. This has caused inconvenience to scores of daily commuters.This is really taking the commuters for a ride. BEST should at least offer an explanation and refund the hard-earned money of ordinary citizens of this country.

                                    This is to highlight the rude behaviour displayed by conductor (ID no. 83621) on 28th Jan 2008, in bus no MH 9393 going to Worli Aagar.

                                    As i boarded the bus, the conductor mentioned to take the ticket. My hands were full with luggage & i moved forward to occupy a seat. The bus was not crowded, in fact there were no standing passengers, however to show his tantrum the conductor did not come ahead to give my ticket. I went behind, paid him & then collected the ticket.

                                    This is a bad display of behavior & not fulfilling his duties.

                                    As i boarded the bus i asked him to give me ticket till S.V road Bandra, as i was not aware that the bus route is not from s.v road bandra .
                                    he gave me 10rs ticket and said bus will not route from bandra,
                                    i said him politly why you gave me then ten rupees ticket, he said you dint said bandra .

                                    he was completly ignoring me i said pls give me your ID no : .
                                    after few minutes he came, and started abusing me and he took the ticket from my pocket and asked me to get down and compaint to whomsoever

                                    i was very disapponted with his behaviour, request you to take necessary action and help us .

                                    This is to highlight the rude behaviour displayed by conductor on 25th Nov 2008, in bus no 349 @ 8:30 am going to Sipz Bus Depot from Jaycoch Jogeshwari.

                                    As i boarded the bus, the conductor mentioned to take the ticket.
                                    I told him to give me one ticket for Marol Depot. He told me this Bus is not for Marol depot, he told me to get down from bus & see the display board ( even that bus display board is showing Sipz Bus sthanak marge Agarkar chowk Andhri ).

                                    Now please tell me, was that my mistake? if the board was wrong then what should we do. Afterthat he was arguing so much with me. minimum 10 min. he was arguing with me. I am also that time out of control & taking him In & Out.

                                    My suggetion for you management is, please dont recrute uneducated people in your team they will create a mess in BEST.

                                    All people known that BEST is one of the best transport in Mumbai & i am also very much aware of that but this kind o[censored]neducated people is creating bad impresion on BEST.
                                    I agree with all the complaints stated here. I am using BEST service since age 5, more than 25 years experience I respect BEST services but regret about these facts too.
                                    Whenever anyone from my native place arrives in Bombay, they see this and astonish, they might think that we are “adjusted” to this rude behavior of drivers and conductors. They inturn think that we also use such language in our day to day life.
                                    This is bad situation. Someone must educate BEST employees on anger and / or stress management!!!
