Dear All,

I have a Bharat Gas connection name of my father bearing consumer no-8466. Every month I am facing poor service from the Bharat Gas distributor named as LAXMI BHARAT GAS, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The supplier boy is coming to give gas without weight box. When we ask about this he take the gas from our house since our cooking gas is finshed hence we have to receive the Bharat Gas cylinder with weight. I complained for this before 4-5 months. After this the supplier boy (named as Sadashiv) give the gas regularly without any problem. But this month I booked for gas on 25/04/2009. Till now I don't receive the gas . When I am tring to bharat gas office regarding this matter they tell that we give you the gas without weight after 3more days. When I tried to contact the Owner Mr Abhay in his Mobile No([protected]) that was switched off. Again I tried to call Mr M Kumar in his mobile no [protected] ther is no answer.

I think to give a consumer case regarding this matter.
Pls guide me how my problem will be solved.

I have the registered consumer from M/s Laxmi Enterprises, Nayapalli Bhubaneswar (IRC Village, near Gandhi Market Complex). On this month (April 2010), I have booked the gas on 12.04.2010. But, still the gas has not delivered to me (17 days from the booking date). If these problem persists from your end, then I will go the consumer forum for the benefit of consumers.

what is your Phone number of Laxmi Enterprises, bcz when i call to 3295871, there is no reply from your end. Plz stop this kind of bad service. Plz provide correct number to the consumers. I also send the mail to your Authorised Officer Mr Nishant Kumar for this bad service.

I request you to please look into the matter and please make sure that these things are not happening in future.

Dear sir,

I have Bharat Gas connection No. 18145 which I booked on 18/12/2010. Till now we are geting the gas. Varsha Enterprise told me it will take 18 to 20 days from the booking date . Confirm me is it correct ???

    I got transferred to Pune from Sangli dist. I've submitted my cylinders and regulator to Bharat Gas Agency at my previous residency. Also collected all necessary documents. Now from last more than 15 days I'm struggling for transferring my connection to Pune (Pimpri Branch). Saying non availability of regulators I'm not getting the connection. I don't understand why Bharat Gas people cares more vendors than customers.
    Pl help because everybody knows about the importance of GAS, now my life becoming miserable.

    Dear Sir,

    I have recently got transferred my connection from Jaipur to Bangalore.
    When i went to Bangalore dealer ( with Termination voucher), he denied for giving a connection as my connection is only 2 month old.

    As per him, connection should have 8 month old.
    Please suggest is there any rule from Bharat gas that connection should be 8 months old.

    Please reply.

    I got transferred to AmalapuramEast godavari dist, Andhra pradesh from visakapatanam dist, Andhrapradesh. I've submitted my cylinders and regulator to Bharat Gas Agency at my previous residency. Also collected all necessary documents. Now from last more than one month I'm struggling for transferring my connection to Amalapuram(Mohan enterpries Agency). Saying non availability of online information, I'm not getting the connection. I don't understand why Bharat Gas people cares more vendors than customers.
    Pl help because everybody knows about the importance of GAS, now my life becoming miserable.

      I have similar experience with this distributor (Padmavathy Bharat Gas). I require LPG cylinder refill every 2 months as mine is a small family. Whenever you book for the refill, it takes months together for the delivery. You need to call them multiple times. Always you will find there telephones busy . You need try at least 25/30 times without giving any break so that you may be connected once. That is to if you are lucky.

      There is no one to listen to the complains. Even I tried to find out the call center numbers for Bharat Gas. But I could not find a number in fact Bharat gas does not have any BSNL phone in its name. It is really strange. It is impossible to contact these guys. In there website whatever numbers that have given are not working. If the company is like this one can understand how these distributors will be working.

      I am helpless and do not know what to do. Only alternative I am seeing is to switch the gas company may be to Indane. I know problems will be there too. But then it should within the bearing limit.

      Dear Sir,
      I am a consumer of bharat gas and agency name is Shanti gas service Gurgoan in Chakkarpur. we had faced a problem a leakage of Gas from cylinder.Emergency contact No. written on booklet is mere formality. One land line no. is not reachable and as far as Mobile no. that is not picked by any executive.
      Further we tried to contact Call centre of bharat gas but no proper response from them also.

      At the end of an hour wastage I was standing on the same place from where I had started and I have no other option just to put my cylinder to keep in open place and keep trying those phone No.

        Delay in home delivery of Lpg Gas.

        Dear Sir,

        Varsha Enterprise.
        Saheed Nagar, Phone[protected], 2547239, Bhubaneshwar, is delaying (Every Month) the delivery of LPG Home Gas Supply which is as per rule - 21 days but they says 30 to 35 days. They supply after 30 days with a post dated bill of 21 days.

        Hence my family face problems & we are forced to purchase gas at higher cost from the market in Black.

        We found that the new gas cylinder that we were trying to connect had some leakage. This happened on sunday. Tried calling the emergency no mentioned in the bharat gas book but the recorded message said 'this code does not exist'.

        Then we got the emergency helpline no of bharat gas from Just dial. When called it kept ringing nobody picked up the phone. We thought since it was sunday the office will be closed so again tried today which is monday but as usual no answer.

        It is quiet shocking that gas leakage emergency helplines are not working & what are the people supposed to do in case of any eventualities...

        bharatgas — Leakage in new cylinder

        we have lewakage problem in new installed gas cyclinder,
        when we switch on the nozzle after installing cyclinder a with the sound of gas is leaking fast in the air so, please come and take care us.

        Bharat Gas — Gas has leakage and still there is no replacement

        Hi,
        I am staying iin PImple Saudagar and I got a gas cylinder on 18th July. This cylinder has leakage which we saw later. Now when we informed the office still there hasnt been any replacement till date. I have got fed up of calling the person.No action is been taken till date.This is annoying and resiky. Have kept the cylinder in Terrace since its very risky.

        LPG domestic Gas — leaking of gas cylinder supplies

        The customer service of iocl is very poor. We have been delivered a leaking cylinder and when we called at iocl service centre no one recieved the call. our gas distributer is m/s TRIVENI GAS AGENCY, triveni nagar shopping centre, gopalpura bye pass road, jaipur and our gas connection number is TR-10013 in the name of suresh chandra gupta, 267-gayatri nagar 'A', maharani farm durgapura, jaipur, rajashan.Today the delivery man has delivered a cylinder but later on it was found that is rapidly leaking and it is apprened that some untoward incidence may occured despite our taking preventive measures. Imediately we have telephoned to your gas agency[protected] as well as your customer service centre[protected] but no one has respondesd till now. Tommorow is the raksha bandan holiday.IN view of the above facts you are requested to depute delivery boy to give us new cylinder and take this leak cylinder imediately and obliged us. Please note that we shall not be responsible for any damage caused due to this leaked cylinder lying in our lawn. Please take necessary action and inform us at[protected] or [protected].
        I completely agree with the complaint registered by mr s.c.gupta.The service is very poor and many a times I have also suffered the same problem.

        I am a customer at Kochi having two cylinders. Evenafter taking two cylinders, I am unable to get continuous service to my requirements. Your Ernakulam Branch Insists (very rigidly) that after supply of one cylinder, bill for the next supply can be printed only after 25 days, whereas the cylinder supplied, lasts only for 20 days. Thus I am not able to get the service for 5 days in a month. Can't you think about changing the gap from 25 days to 15 days so that customer satisfaction can be increased. Hope the needful will be done at the earliest.

        The same problem we are facing right now. The cylinder they provided is leaking but nobody is bothered to pick the call. I have tried around 10 nos. but all in vain. Need to ask the officials who would be responsible in case of casualties. Are you waiting them to happen ???
        your Service in kalewadi, pimpri pune is not good as it is in Kasarwadi. i think u can give agency to another member. they take extra money on Every Cylinder. and also bonus of Rs 50/- in Every Dipawali. how we give Bonus to them if we have not getting bonus. IF we cant give them extra money or bonus next time they cant give us cylinder.
        we will give them extra money but they give us cylinder on time 2 time. But they cant give give us cylinder within time also. what is ur companies service.

        I am a customer from bhopal and i am having a problem with my regulator and when i went to the local gas agency from where i hv purchased my connection.They have checked the regulator and even they are saying that there is a problem in the regulator and now they are again forcing me to buy the gas pipe of Rs 190 after that only they will change the regulator.Sir this is total fraud never expected this from company like Bharat so sir kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

        The bharat gas claims to deliver the gas-cylinder to its consumer within 24 hours of booking.
        here, we had booked our cylinder on 29/09/2010 at 10.30 a.m. for delivery but we have advised to make the phone call on 07/10/2010 and thereafter we will be confirmed whether we will get the delivery or not on the day concerned. we have only one cylinder and yeasterday day morning our cylinder have been empty . we have no another fill cylinder.
        Second thing the agency telephone no. generally not responding properly and sometime does not listen the consumer dificulties and put off the phonbe.
        My first request is kindly call the ageny and why they make so 09 days delay for delivering the gas.

        Till today (14 Oct 2010) I haven't recieved any cylinder from the agency.

I had booked my cylinder 29.3 2011 but I did not get cylinder till 18.3.2011.then I contact our dristributer but they did not picked phone. I try agane and agane they picked phone 20.3.2011 .they said me we try to give your cylinder tomoro but I did not get .I contact 22.3.2011 they said we unable to give your cylinder . if your nesesery you com and take your cylnder.then I went your dristributer and took a cylinder from distributers godowen by my motorcycle. Next I booked my cylinder 26.3.2011but I didnot get till 11.3.2011. They donot homedelivery .If they homedelivery they demand 20 rupees extra per cylinder.

        I stay in Anushaktinagar Mumbai & an employee of Bhabha Atomic research Center Mumbai. My new cylinder does not fit properly & the gas leaks. I tried every possible number / agency as was detailed in the website of Bhart Gas. Either the phone number is switched off or the staff from M/s Radha Gas Agency Vikhroli (Customer emergency agency as per web site) simply does not respond to the ringing calls. They have disconnected my calls at least 50 times. They have not responded to my SMS also. Trouble is my problem is not yet solved. I have even sent messages on the Facebook page of Bharat Gas. It seems there is no official deputed to oversee this aspect of their business.
        Can anyone help me please. I am ready to pay applicable service charges to whosoever solves my problem.

        Transfer gas connection

        I submitted all document for transfer to other agencies because Koderma gas agency's delivery service is very poor.
        We found that the new gas cylinder that we were trying to connect had some leakage. This happened on saturday night {28/1/17}. Tried calling the emergency no mentioned in the bharat gas book but the recorded message said 'this code does not exist'.

          Dear Sir,

          Namskar,

          Bharat Gas ka jo person ghar par aata hai man manni payment vasul karta hai. Agar vaha payment nahi diya toh vaha gas return kardeta hai. Yeh baat maine kai bar u n k office madum ko kahi vo yehi bol te hai ki jo aap ko bill diya hai vohi payment karde lekin Delivery Boy Dadagiri karta hai (Kahta hai ki bill se 5-10/- rs. extra do verna main vapas le jata hun. Ye charge home Delivery k leta hun).

          Main jab bhi gas booking karta hun us din se 15-20 din main delivery dete hai. Booking karte samay bolte hai ki one week main aa jayega. Jabki mera Booking hi kam-se-kam 45 ya 60 days k baad hi hota hain.

          Ab aap hi kuch kar sakte hai.

          Dear Sirs,
          My Customer No.2126 in Bangaru sai Enterprises CC 661819 at Bhagyanagar Kukatpally.
          I have already written a complaint to you on 16th of Jan 2010, But there is no reply or any action from your side.
          When HP & Indian gas agencies in our area are supplying within 1 wk of booking Bharatgas is taking 25 - 30 days.
          First of all they do not even take booking for 15 days after supply.
          The staff in office are very rude, arrogant & do not even answer calls properly & disconnect obtrubtly.
          When we go there personally they give unreasonable answers & treat us like a unwanted guest.
          Last week that too on a festival day gas was over & refill cylinder was also empty.
          When I called the agency for refill they have cut the call without any assurance.

          Then I carried the cyclinder myself to their office & after a big fight they have given a cyclinder without seal & Bill.
          Back in home when I have checked the weight of the cyclinder to my shock it was only 28 Kgs instead of 30.5 kgs.

          Incedentally our area being a commercial place lot of street vendors & tiffin centers are using gas. One can see 8 - 10 cycliders lying in their back yard any time.

          I strongly feel this agency is selling cyclinders at Black market.

          Sir, I once again request you to investigate & take firm action on this agency in order to disipline the distribution.

          Dear sir,
          i am having gas connection in Bangaru sai Enterprises at Bhagyanagar Kukatpally.
          i am having single cylinder connection and i order for refill on 07th aug but still they are not given, today is 19th of Aug almost. 18 days, they given commitment of 1 week and last month i fought with delivery boy that he is demanding 15 - 20 Rs. more than actual cost, he is telling that it is delivery charges and i enquired at the same time to office they are telling dont give delivery charges, but they are not accepting, finally i given money because there is no way, he told last month that, next month onwards he dont want to bring my refill and you have to collect from Office only.
          Is this way to talk with the customers and in my area almost all people having the same problem but there is no solution for this.

            I Abhay Kumar shahi, my consumer No.13283 With City Gas service, Sidgora, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
            My complain with theDistributor Is-
            --Never gas is delivered at home
            --Booking on date 09/05/09 is being delivered but it isnot being delivered to me despite having it booked on 03/05/09
            *--On asking about this, staff from the distributing agency talk in a very rude manner and are ready for physical assaults.
            --I m three years old consumer but still I have single connection and ite a fact that many consumers who are newer than me have got their connection doubled by the grace of the employees of the distributor.
            I m having this written here in utmost frustration.

            Plz.Help.

              Non-delivery of gas refills for 3 days

              I am customer of Bharat Gas - Shree Raksha Gas Agency, Hebbagodi, Bangalore. My consumer id is 32530 and SV No.[protected]. I have shifted from Valsad, Gujarat to Bangalore. I paid the required deposit and amount for 2 refills on 20-May-2009. I was promised delivery at 10:30 AM on 21-may-2009.               I am costemer of bharat gas for domestic cooking gas at Chirimiri, korea, Chhattishgarh.My card serial no. WR 1113056 consumer no. 008427.I have booked gas cylinder on 21April 2009 but I have not recievedgas cylinder till date ( 22 May 2009 ).The gas agency don't bother about the supply of cylinder even after varioue reminder.They have two phone numberwhich are kept busy or not answered.The agency code is 351896.

              You are requested to look after the matter and take necessary action.
              I have connection of domestic LPG Gass connection no.27758 with M/S Dammo enterprises, 64-A, LIG Flat, Jhilmil colony, Delhi-110095.They give 3 numbers of phone[protected], 22146036,[protected] for booking riffils.But they are not pick up the call all numbers any time.At office of the distrbutor staffs are to much missbehaive with customers.

                Additional Gas Cylinder Connection

                Hi,

                I have booked a new gas connection in bharat gas agency on 25-Jan-09 in vepery.

                We have already paid Rs 3000 for the initial first connection.

                Now When i apply the additional cylinder the agency told to pay Rs 3000 for getting additional gas connection.

                Actually the additional deposit amt for cylinder : Rs 1250 only.
                The gas agency demand to pay Rs 3000 otherwise we...

                  I have booked the cylinder on March 23rd the booking no is- 12560, even after 57 days completed they are not given a cylinder.Right now both the cylinder is finished. When ever we contact to the phone first they will not responce.Even if they attend the phone they will say we will give this saturday or monday.Due to this i cannot go even out side. Hence it is my humble request you sir, tell them to give the cylinder at least 20 days after booking, and give receipt. hope you will look in to this matter.

                    It is second to impossible to contact M/s. Banani Distributors, Ballygunge, Kolkata. If you at all get them, they intentionally inordinately delay supply. I have double cylinder facility, still I am facing lots of problems. I am not getting cyclinder in spite of proper booking till two cylinders exhaust.

                    For some reasons not known to me, this distributor has been suspended for a long time last year.

                    Kindly look into it, so that your consumers are saved from unnecessary harrassments.

                      Hello, One 14th Feb 2009 I got my Bharat Gas connection with Consumer # 71064 by your Distributor Ratan Enterprises.Though I requested I did not wanted Gas Stove I was compelled to buy which was much higher then Market value. They told me either buy the Gas stove or I won't get Gas Connection. I was forced to buy it as I desperately wanted Gas Connection after wait of over 5 months. I have still not opened the packed Gas Stove for which I was charged Rs. 2200/-. Please ask the Distributor to return my money as it is not mandate from Bharat Gas to its distributor. It is just another way of minting money.

                      Please help me in getting my money back.

                        My Consumer No: 14306, SV NO:[protected] DATED 2/6/2000, Card Serial No: 210593. I am very much upset about my BHARAT GAS Distributor’s policy matters related with delivery manners (M/S: SHYAMA BHARAT GAS DISTRIBUTOR, CODE- 461872).
                        Thanking you for your earlier letter dated 14.11.2008 containing Sub: BGR-E RE: Feedback Reference No: 42536.

                        My husband spoke with Mr. Manik Roy (In-charge, Customer Relation Center / Kolkata) on dated 17.04.09 about delay of delivery then he assured him to take care of this matter. I became very much astonished that distributor had not delivered gas on 18.04.09 too. I furnished my booking dates and delivery dates belonging from February 2008, below,

                            Hi sir,

                            I have applied for new conncetion of Bharat Gas at sec-22, H Block, NOIDA-201301 (U.P.).
                            I have visited the Bharat Gas center several times, despite of submitting all the documents, they have not verified my Address. The staffs are not at all supportive to Consumers, even they use abusive language. When I had asked for complaint form they denied to offer me the Gas connection.

                              i was transferred from Bangalore to vellore & i changed my Bharat Gas connection too. We are trying to book for a gas cylinder, the suppliers in Vellore have moved from infantry road to else where, we have been asking them for the change of address & contact number they have not been able to give us.

                              How can the consumer contact them, without any intimation of change of address & phone no. We are finding it very difficult to book the cylinder. Please give us the right telephone no. The helpline no are of no use, they are just written helpline but no one answers the phone even after dialling a 1000 times, i hope somebody could solve this problem

                                i am one of your consumer, put up in chinnapanahalli(doddanakundi post), blr. when ever i go and collect the cylinder we are forced to by a consumable product such as sun flower oil, wheet powder ect... if we refuse to buy we are not supplied a gas. is there any rule that a consumer should by a product.
                                does this happen in any other gas distributors.it happens only in bharat gas.i called up the indranagar branch to check the same even they say the company as advised to do so.

                                i would like to take this case to the higher level and would like to know who is the right person in bharat petrolium so i can take the genuin case legally.

                                people come from fare of place to collect the cylinder (some are below middle class) who bring only 340/- to buy a gas they are been refused a cylinder. what will they do ...?????

                                this is absolute day light robbery(marketing) by the distributors.
                                We are facing lot of trouble with this agency while booking the gas cylinder for refill. 1st of all according to their rule you can't book cylinder before 21days of delivery of one cylinder. Again after booking you will get delivery after 15 days. So 21+15=36 days you need to wait for one cylinder. But practically we will never get a delivery even after 36 days. We need to call them 100 times, most of time phone will be either busy or not responding. Luckily if someone pick the call you will get a response that there will be a delivery delay for at least 1 week, load is not there. It is happening every month with me and other people who have Bharat gas in our apartment. All are very frustrated with their service and rude stuffs. Planning to change the connection very soon.

                                This agency(MAHALAKSHMI ENTERPRISES) is worst in Bangalore . I have been in Bangalore since last 15 years and stayed at different parts of bangalore. Unfortunately I have to deal with this agency as they cover the area where I presently reside. And I never had a good experience in last 2.5 years with them.
                                Either while booking, while queryiing abt the cylinder delivery or dealing with the delivery boy or go to the gas godown(in Marathalli) for collecting the cylinder

                                Their phones will ring ring and ring when you call, or go busy other times. Whent by sheer luch you get the call received by the booking person, you will surely have extremely unfriendly experience talking to them.

                                Mr balakrishna will be there in office and they will say that he will be on leave for "next 8 days" whenever you want to talk to him.

                                Overall, a WORST possible service that anyone can offer..

                                I too have booked the gas one month back and still waiting for the delivery. They never pickup the phone. I have to go their office everytime and after 5-8 visits, they would say that they it will be delivered the next day but it never happens. Again, you have to remind them and some day you will get it. It seems as if we are getting the gas at their mercy. I heard that if you are ready to pay that extra, you can get the cylinder intantly from the delivery boy. This is the style of fuctioning of MAHALAKSHMI ENTERPRISES agency.

                                Hope Bharat Petrolium officials take action on these issues.

                                It really worked when I lodged a complaint around 3-4 years ago. Mahalaxmi delivered Cylinder after making multiple followups with me and on my choosen time in late evening. :-) Should work now as well.

                                Mahalakshmi enterprises' service is really very bad. They have given so many phone numbers but most of them are always switched off. And they are saying gas will be delivered in 15 days but even after a month it is not getting delivered. They are selling gas in black. In other part of Bangalore other distributors are delivering on time, only this distributor is creating hell lot of problems. Their license should be canceled.

                                1. what are the policies for taking a new cylinder
                                2. Whether is it mandatory to buy additional packages such as Juicer, Grinders while taking a new or 2nd connection.

                                Please dont hesitate but make use of RTI to dig for more info.

                                I visited this site to raise a compliant against Bharat Gas Distribution agency - Reshmi Gas Agency, KR Puram, Bangalore. After reading few of the already existing compliants, I am sure that there is no point in raising a compliant here, coz I really doubt if any action is being taken against the compliants raised here. If there was any action taken, then people would not be still facing such pathetic condition of Bharath Gas Booking service. I expect at least someone to pick the call for Gas booking, I am really tired of trying the following nos 28532301, 28532302, 28532308. Nobody picks your call. :(

                                I HAVE A GAS CONNECTION WITH MAHALAKSHMI DISTRIBUTORS IN BANGALORE, WHICH IS THE WORST GAS AGENCY. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE CYLINDER IN MINIMUM 20 DAYS AFTER WE BOOK THAT AND AFTER WE GET THE CYLINDER WE CANNOT BOOK THE CYLINDER AGAIN FOR 20 DAYS SO IDEALLY WE ARE GETTIGN 50 DAYS ONCE. MOREOVER THEY DO NTO ANSWER THE CALLS, VERY WORST SERVICE, GAS BOYS DEMAND MONEY, THEY DO NOT DLEIVER THE GAS CORRECTLY, THEY NEED 50 RS EXTRA TO GIVE ON THE DAY WE GET THE GAS BILL FOR US.

                                THEY SELL THE CYLINDERS IN BLACK AT 800 RS, IF WE GO THEY WILL NOT GIVE US, IF WATCH MANS GO THEY WILL GIVE CYLINDERS FOR 800-850 LIKE THAT, IF WE HAVE TO TALK TO THEM IN PHONE WE NEED TO SPEND ONE WHOLE DAY TRYING CALLING THEM

                                Hi, Consumer no. is 62067, I have booked Bharat Gas( Consumer No:62067) last month on 27.01.2012 but till date i have not recd Cylinder as i am trying to call dealer on daily basis, but even after spending of more than 2-3 hours, unable to catch up over phone.
                                Kindly suggest what should i do.
                                Booking reference 26915236 done on 30 Sep 2012 under name Raghuraja Shetty.We have still not received the cylinder.
                                Tried to call all 3 nos[protected],[protected],[protected] and get the same tone.
                                Not sure if it is an engage tone or not.
