BSNL (INDIA) BROAD BAND- KOLKATA  ONCE AGAIN NOSE DOWN TENDENCY TOWARDS A VERY POOR SPEED / PERFORMANCE

BSNL have very intelligently switched over to new scheme and declared that Broad Band speed will be doubled from 01.04.2010 to the existing customers. According to BSNL's clarifications to me they informed that I am eligible to get 256kbps for my present scheme. Unfortunately, BSNL miserably failed to maintain supply of even 256kbps which has been brought to their knowledge frequently but without result.

However, we were happy to observe that Broad Band speed gained momentum since 31st March '10 evening and remained at an average of 477kbps to 500kbps & + up to 24.04.2010. For ready appreciation a chart showing BBST recordings from 15.03.10 to 29.04.10 is placed below. This may be reconciled from your own record. It will be evident from speed supplied statement that again a nose down tendency of BB speed started increasing 24.04.10 onwards and as a result there of it has become very difficult to work with BB services. It is not that BSNL cannot maintain supply speed beyond 500kbps.

BSNL authority may find out the lapses as to why every time the commitments made to the consumers by the organization becomes vague and unreliable. Problems if any at the root level may be located and rectified by intervention of senior commandants of BSNL to ensure betterment in services to vast consumers. With best wishes.

ANOTHER BLUF BY KOLKATA / BSNL [INDIA] - BSNL ANNOUNCED THROUGH MEDIA THAT BB SPEED WILL BE DOUBLED FROM[protected] FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS. But from 01-04-10 to 25-04-10 BB Speed supplied was approx 470 / 500+ then wards speed supplied came downwards --> See pictures:- Speed is 50.7kbps only

    After my repeated letter & information regarding not properly working of broad band & I.P Statics against all above mention telephone no., till today no any action taken by you.

    It is very regrettable that after paying huge amount for services to you but no any properly and timely response given by you.

    We also write a letter for rental rebate for 60 days because after allotment broad band, it is not configured or start by your end. So why, we paid with installation of Broad band.

    BSNL Broadband — Not properly working

    Dear Sir / Maidam,
    I am getting your BSNL Broadband Plan PLUS 750 as unlimited. My broad band are not working properly many time I complain but I can't satisfy with your officer. Many times my link goes out and it can take several minutes to get link. After 12.00pm to 4:30 pm I got helpless with your BSNL service when many time link goes out and speed goes down? Now at present I can't get link from 7:00pm to 11:00 pm after 11:00pm I got Link. And another problem I face from last two days that When ever I click BSNL browser to connect internet connection then It can show me 691 error.
    Here how can I understand that your BSNL service is no.1 in INDIA.
    I obliged you to see this matter urgently and solve this as soon as possible.

      i am suffring from telephone noicing problem. when my broadband conected and i am work on it and if comes call and hav to do call then i hav to do switch off my broadband after that i can receive my call and call to another without noincing problem. wat should i do. i hav to informed bsnl offics shahdol m.p. they not solving my problem plz solve my problem bcoz its a state goverment department and with this problem we are effected and dont do our work properly. its my porsonely request plz solve our problem.

        I had made the inital connection deposit amount of Rs.1100, for a BSNL connection and Broadband it has being 2months without any response.

        Contacted there reigonal officer for the reason, he stated they are still doing a feasibility check. Someone please help me on this one.

          I was provided broadband internet service by BSNL,Bhubanesswar based on my SMS.The service was only activated on 16.2.2010 although I purchased the required modem on 3.2.2010 from BSNL through my landline telephone (RURAL KAUSALYAGANGA EXCHANGE). In spite of my request over phone to SDO, Telephone (RURAL) to provide me the lowest tariff plan-USOF 99 as per provision, I was given plan-USOF 150 on 16.2.2010. I then requested the customer care Unit of BSNL through selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in to change my BB plan from existing USOF 150 to USOF 99 vide SR #[protected] on 8.3.2010.Although my request is under 'OPEN', till now ,no suitable action has been taken by BSNL as yet.I request your kind intervention of this matter.

            Dear Sir,

            I had applied for a land line connection on 19th of Jan 2010 and they said within 2 - 3 weeks, I would be getting the connection.

            Today, its more than 3 months over and I have no signs of getting the connection !!! I had personally visited the BSNL offices. I made a visit in Mid Feb 2010 to BSNL Main office in Kalyan West to get the Work order number and they gave me the work order number and asked me to visit the BSNL Kalyan East. When I went there, they said that they are working on it and they registered a complaint as NTC problem. Since then, I have not received any updates from them. They have my alternate numbers, why dont they update us.. Why everyone has to go and stand in queues to get an update ? Do everyone have to take a leave just to stand in a queue and get the updation ??? I'm sorry but its really unprofessional way of working and needs to sort this out.

            Its no good just to put big big banners and boardings of BSNL for their service and product and providing worst service to the people who are already waiting !!! Please Grow up !!!

              My landline phone no.[protected] is out of order from past one month. I made complaints on 198 a number of times but no action has been taken regarding those complaints. I called in GM office, then the phone worked for two days and again get out of order. Again I called in GM office but no action has been taken yet. So I am fed of complaining.

              Hi Sir my LL N:[protected] our phone is not working for past 2 weeks due to cause of Lyla cyclone. I had given so many complaints regarding that issue. But there is no response from your guys(department). Even we don't know what the things is going there. Because we are paying bill's regularly and more over that its very important to make a call in Emerge. What we have to do now. Please i am requesting that once again make sure that issue. Other wise tell me guys i can migrate to some other services like airtel, tata indicom. What it may be. So, please rectify the issue. As soon as possible.

                I " SHEIKH ABDUL GANI", the landline subscriber bearing landline No. [protected], situated at Ashajipora, Aanantnag, kashmir, 192101 in OYT category. The telephone was functioining smoothly Since Sep. 07, 2011 the number some times occur in "out of order", "BEEP ", NO DIAL TUNE" etc.Plz tell me what to do, several times for complaining through Customer Care or Field Executivies but all in vain. Today morning 10:45 AM, I did visit your Anantnag xchange but no body was taking properly, I was trying to meet concerned SDE/JE, but they were unavailable, kindly look at the issue and redress my grievencies at earliest.

                      BSNL — BSNL Phone Dead past 15 days

                      Hi,

                      Recently we have shifted our home in the same area, and i submiited a request letter to BSNL Officials to shift the phone within the divsion. And they accepted on 13th of May and they told it will be done on friday i.e 17th May i accepted for that. There after i havent received any update from the BSNL officials, once again i called and enquired about the shifting phone they gave some different number to contact, i tried calling him and asked for the shifting he told some unacceptable words like My engineer is not yet come he is not keeping well, he is sick for 2 days. once again i called on Monday he told samething till now the engineer is not yet come and he is not keeping well, once again called and asked for the updates he told surely it will be done on wednesday till now nothing has happend one more wednesday came till now the phone is not working, if this is the case BSNL officials are not working properly and once again provide Govt employees are always lazy...From past 15 days I am not using my Phone connection of 22132354 please do needful...

                          I have a BSNL Broadband connection on Phone number[protected]. The day it was installed it stopped working after 5 days and after numerous complaints on customer helpline and visiting Local complaint office at NEPZ Noida it was not restored for a month. I payed the whole bill for that month, after 10 days it stopped again, so I complained again numerous times but they all gone in vain. So I didn't paid the bill this time. They are sending the bills for each month and I want them to cut my connection but they are saying to pay the bill for remaining three months and than they will cut it.
                          How can I pay the bill for three months if it is not working from 3.5 months.

                            BSNL Mobile — bsnl is not refunding security despite of no pending

                            My bsnl post paid no. was +91-[protected]. due to stolen my phone on 23/10/2004, I logged a complaint in nearest police station, and informed bsnl in proper way. I had diposited security rs 2000.00. Till today bsnl has not refunded my security yet now. In this duration, i have contacted bsnl personels at every level, but there is no result.

                              I have intially subscribe to BSNL dataone broadband of Rs.250 Plan,and they have offerred 1gb free donwload and the speed was very good at that time just to exhust my 1GB free usage as soon as possible i suppose.But,in every month if i dont download anything,only browse for pages,autometically my 1gb is getting exhusted.And i had to pay very high charges for that.One of the BSNL agent told me to change the plan to Unlimited 750 and go for the annual payment,you will get some benifit.I have paid more than 9500/- already for the year.But,the moment i have changed it to Unlimited,my speed become very slow and it is slower than a Dialup connection.I was suppose to get 256 kbps/S as per the plan,but now i am getting max 25kb/s.I have logged complain to customer care twice,but no result.
                              So, the conclusion is i[censored] choose for a lower price plan they will provide you very high speed internet so that your free usage gets exhusted as soon as possible and they can charge for extra usage.And if you choose for Unlimited,they will make your connection so very slow,u wont be able to do anything,I cant even open normal webpages.BE WARE OF THIS TRAP OF BSNL DATAONE.

                              I am having BSNL broad band connection for last one year. Right from the first month it keeps on disconnecting. Many times it does not connect at all. I have complained almost 100 times on telephone. They just ignore my complaints. Sometimes after a complaint the connection works for a day or two and again the same problem starts. They always give some explanations that the cable has become bad, there is fault in the line etc. I don't know what to do? Weather I should file a case in the consumer court?

                              I'm a Dataone user from Srinagar and have been using the service for 4 months.
                              The pings i get are very high and cause many problems. Please try to check the problem as soon as pssible.

                              BSNL DATAONE — Not offered 15 days unlimited promotional offer.

                              I applied for bsnl broadband connection on 27/03/2010. I got the modem installed and started using the connection on 15/04/2010. As per the bsnl website, there was a promotional offer for broadband connections taken till March 31st, (later the date was extended to April 15th). According to the information, I am supposed to get unlimited downloads at 2 MBPS speed for the first 15 days, ie. till 29th April. But today April 22nd, when I checked the usage, I found that they started charging me from 22/04/2010.

                              It is strange that I keep getting this warning when I hardly use a fraction of the allotted 5 mb space. Like today the downloaded amount was 179 kb (whereas your mail says there is a disk usage of 5025 kb).
                              The number of messages I got today was 9, and that included your warning, while your alert says that I have 190 messages ‼

                              dataone — Internet and Phone

                              The dataone internet service provided by BSNL in our area (Virar) is pathetic. The connection is out for 5-6 days a week. When the office is approached for compliants, i am asked to register complaint on number '198'. Inspite of registering compliant, i have receievd no calls from the company either the issue is resolved. This is happening since last 3 months. If this carelessness for customer plight continues, the government will definitely lose their portion to other private service providers in the market for sure.

                                Hi,
                                I have recently migrated to 3G service from 2G of BSNL serivce provider. Already i had the 2G GPRS settings in my mobile. As directed by the customer care representative, to receive the 3G GPRS settings i sent SMS <Manufacture_of_mobile> <Model_of_mobile> to 53855. i recevied 4 sms displaying the following message "Settings received but not saved. Message deleted". On enquiring the Customer care, they asked to delete the cofigurations and all the access points. Even after doing that and sending the SMS i received the same SMS. Even i formated the phone and sent the sms i am still receving the same message. Please help me in this and do the need full as soon as possible.                                 BSNL — Trash messages

                                Since past 2-3 months I have been receiving unwanted "Service Messages" (SMS) from BSNL and other marketing messages (download so and so songs etc.).

                                It takes efforts and time to keep that deleting again and again. I "managed" to talk with Customer Service (on [protected]) after about 10 attempts on various days.

                                First he pretended not to have understood my problem. Finally he said that stopping those SMS's are not in his jurisdiction. He was also unable to explain how to tackle this situation.

                                What do do. Is BSNL listening...

                                    I've opted for EVDO connection for my limited Tenure in BHOPAL. As soon as i moved out, i have filed an application to disconnect my subscription. Irrespective to my regular appeals of doing so, BSNL is keep on sending MONTHLY BILLS on my address for the service i have ousted for 6 months back. I have requested them regularly, and everytime they have assured me of disconnection still i am receiving the bills. I don't know what are they upto. KINDLY HELP ME WITH THIS since I AM REALLY FED UP WITH BSNL BROADBAND SERVICES.

                                      BSNL TARANG — APPLIED FOR TARANG CONNECTION ON 03/06/2009 STILL CONNECTION NOT PROVIDED

                                      Dear Sir/ Madam
                                      We had applied for a new Tarang connection in the name of Sunfix Plast Pvt Ltd Dt: 03/06/2009 at Shirur Telephone Exchange and paid the charges vide Cash receipt No. 48221 at Shirur Telephone Exchange. Still we are not provided with the connection after contacting several times with the local BSNL person Mr. Nagavade he keeps on hanging with the matter and never gives a reply as to when it would provided.
                                      Kindly look into the matter.

                                        I am a BSNL broadband customer in Varanasi using home plan 750 plus, customer no. is 2423070, I have been using bsnl broadband since last one year but since last 7 days my broadband connection is working drastically slow and downloading speed has dropped down to 5-7kbps, and even after visiting their office and after complaining them about this i didn't got any satisfactory reply and the condition of my broadband connection is still the same which is really frustrating for me, hope you will look into the issue n solve my problem.
