Phone and broadband not working.

Land line & broadband are not working for 1 week.
my residence phone at Thanjavur was not functioning since 20th June 2010. My compaliant in 198 was recorded on[protected]. The complaint was not yet attended and the phone with broad band connection is dead till this minute. I seek the following redmedies.
1. Restoration of the line after attending to the compalaint
2. Allow the credit in the billing for the charges in repect of period of non working.

      BSNL-New landline connection — No response from BSNL staff

      Its been 3 and a half months I have applied for BSNL land line connection in Bangalore.I have been going to check out the status personally every week. But the officers there are completely not responding.Every time the answer is the same "Next week sure madam".I have left the hope and now am going for Tata or Airtel.
      Its shameful that the government departments in our country is working like a lazy bull or are so much used to bribe that they don't work till you give them some.

      Hope that some honest officer of BSNL see this complaint and take some action
      please get rid from my problem
      iam using my bsnl telephone since last 6yrs from last two yrs for every halferly my telephone was dissconnecting even though iam complainting they wil resolve it for 15-30days in mean while iam missing my important calls.
      Its shameful that the government departments in our country is working like a lazy bull or are so much used to bribe that they don't work till you give them some.

      BSNL Phone and Broadband connection — No response to the application

      I sincerely applied on the 9th Sept by submitting all necessary documents for a new connection with broad band, std and ISD. I was told by your agent to get all formalities done within three/four days. Till this day I am surprised with complete silence from your end. It seems, your company is not interested in providing me with your service or your processing is too long. Sir, I was a MTNL customer for last 8 yrs in Delhi and was enjoying it with full satisfaction.Me and my family was under the impression that Govts' services are always good for senior and disciplened people like us.I have been also told that, your company has already laid out lines in each of the flats here. So I expected a quick service.But, after settling in Gurgaon it seems that I should withdraw my application with you and contact other service provider to get immediate connection. Such dissapointing silence goes against any of Govts services.

      This is Kaustabh Bhattacharjee from South kolkata.I've applied for BSNL broadband internet connection for more than four months but still do not get connection.It is urjent for me & I've complained repeatedly & visited our BSNL exchange near desopriyo park repeatedly but no result...BSNL employees neither respect individuals nor their time.It is a hopeless situation.       after getting the BSNL facility of broadband, i am facing the most weird problem. it is, the connection losses itself (automatically) and all work ruined, further it takes long time to reconnect again.

      I have applied for new landline connection along with broadband connection on 23 April, 2009.
      My residence comes under Khamla Telephone exchange.
      I have visited the exchange office 4-5 times but no response from the BSNL officials.
      You are requested to kindly look into the matter and arrange issuing the connection at the earliest.

      Bsnl Broadband Connection — Fake Employees from BSNL

      On 6th Saturday one person claimed to be from BSNL came to our house and explained about BSNL's new Broadband plans. He explained about a new plan in which there is 2 mbps unlimited connection for 750 Rs and for the first 6 months there is no rental. Also a Printer free with the connection. He infomed 2500 Rs to be the advance for this and 2000 will be refunded while disconnecting. I was interested with the plan and told him that i will go for it and will give a cheque on BSNL's name. Then he insisted that if cheque is given then it will take more time to go for collection and to get the phone connection. So better to pay by cash so that i will get the connection in the next day itself and then i agreed to give him a personal cheque for 2500Rs as advance for the new broad band connection. I checked his officilal tag which is of BSNL and he also gave me the receipt of BSNL for the cheque which i paid. I also took his mobile no:[protected] (BSNL employee is using an Airtel connection). He left from my home and immediately withdrawn the money from my account too.He is supposed to come the next day and when i tried to contact him on his mobile it is switched off for the whole day and then only i came to know that he was a fake employee from BSNL.

      I ve registered the application on 26/06/09. So far there is no action taken by the bsnl officers perumanallur branch, tirupur. Infact the scheme name is the broadband on demand but there is no response by the officials.Please take action regarding this complaint

      Today(20 dec ) a person came with the same information as u said as BSNL employee.I was surprised with the plan and checked with bsnl sites but not able to get info on such kind of plan finaly found here that its a fake .I called the bsnl customer care and informed the same no responce they where seraching the plan and updating me like we didnt recived the plan details...some has to take some steps if its real and has to check in this case.
      I've heard that BSNL has increased speed for unlimited plans temporarily, well that's a good news, i'm thinking of taking BSNL broadband IF the speed remains same but people are saying that speed is increased only till 26th April, if it is so then i might not take.

      I have applied for BSNL Broadband connection in the month of Oct 11. Initially the application form did not move till i paid Rs. 500/- (initial fees) along with Chai-Pani to the employee of BSNL. On 18 Oct 11 I was told that my BSNL number[protected] has been activated with broad band services. Till 26 Oct 11 i was neither provided with connection nor instrument. For getting it I had to run pillar to post. On 27 Oct 11 the connection was installed with instrument. After making one call the instrument went faulty and started making noise. The instrument was returned to the BSNL office and since then they have not provided me new instrument. I feel harassed and think of surrendering the connection. I am depressed with the response and feel cheated. What should i pay for when i have not used the services.

      BSNL — Connection not provided after 4 months of application

      I have applied for a BSNL connection for my home at HSR layout Bangalore on 19/03/2012 and my workorder number us 45052394.I have not been provided the connection still even after repeated followups.Each time they give a different reason for not providing.I stay on the second floor and both the houses on the ground and first floor have BSNL connection.The first reason they gave for not providing the connection was a broad statement 'No incoming' which did not make any sense.Now the DE tells me that there is some issue in the exchange which they were supposed to sort out in two days the last time I called but somehow they are still not able to sort it out.I am not sure what the issue is but it is highly irresponsible of them to keep a request open for 4 months and that too in a place which is at the heart of the city.There is no grievance cell or website where I can register.The website address I have does not open for ages and finally we lose our patience.BSNL is a goverment office in all terms with a private pay package.They dont feel even a teeny weeny amount of guilt for their inefficiency after taking home such huge salaries which they hardly deserve.
      i had a bsnl broadband connection, i disconnect it 3 months ago, from that time i am not getting my security refund after repeated complaints and when i do not deposit the following months bills they disconnected my land line connection. on the other hand the bsnl department has my rs.1100 with them and they disconnected my connection for not deposition of rs. 600. i tried to talk to the officials but they are sending me to one another. they are not listening to y problem.
      i wanted a broadband connection from BSNL, i therefore went online and called on their customer care number and asked for same, the guy over the phone called and asked for connection and i said yes i want a connection and gave him my address, next day he or somebody from the company reached my house and asked for money the usual activation and installation fees along with 3 months advance fees for a Rs500 plan we agreed upon, in total i gave him Rs3200 which include a Rs1500 wifi modem too, in return he gave me a reciept and said BSNL guys will come the next day and install the landline and the next day the wifi will be installed, its been 2 weeks and still nobody showed up, i tried calling the phone number of his but its not connecting, neither their customer care number is responding, i am always on hold, either BSNL guys should install a connection to my house or give my money back

        Sir,
        I an very old and serious customer of BSNL broadband service. My tel no.[protected] and my customer no. 369820. I an a SAIL executive and I applied for 20% rebate on broadband plan (Home-250) on 24.08.2009 through Durgapur Steel Exchange customer care with all relevant documents. But unfortunately till 21.04.2010 no such rebate is provided by BSNL. I personally meet SDO(phones), Durgapur Steel Exchange Every month but no initiative is awarded from his end till today. So, that i am still paying more rental and not able to get the facility provided by you. You are cordially requested to look into the matter at the earliest as i am not getting any help from SDO(phones),Durgapur Steel Exchange.

              My Telephone no is[protected]. I have go combo offer ( land line +broadband ) connection from BSNL. Earlier (2008/2009) I used to pay bills through one BSNL authorized agent ( Name :- Sanjoy Gope) and he used to issue receipt against my payment. In the month of June , suddenly my telephone line got suspended by the telephone authority . Finally I came to know that, the bills which I paid through the agent he didn’t submitted that to telephone dept and approximately 5 laces Rest he collected from consumers and absconded. After that I had submitted an application along with xeros copy of my receipts to the chief accounts office (Barrackpore) then my connection got restored. Again my broadband connection got suspended due to the same reason and its down since last 15 days. I had discussion with DE (INTERNAL) & AOTR Panihati (Mr.Ashish Dey), according to them , I have to repay the full amount ( Rs 2000 approx) to restore my connection.
              I am not sure why I need to pay the amount when I have paid that amount already to the BSNL authorized agent & I have valid money receipt against that. My connection got disconnected without any intimation even though I have paid all bills on timely manner.

              Again I had visited AOTR opn 17th April afeter 15 days but he could not could not give me nay assurance of restoration of my Bordband facility . He is not cooperative at all and adviced me to visit Barrackpore Chief Account officer which is around 12 KM away form my place.



              I am unnecessarily getting harassed by the telephone dept without doing any fault form my end.

                Respected Sir,
                I’m Kasi Prasad Nayak, Kashipur beg to state that my telephone No.[protected] is out of order / One Sided since a long period. I regularly paid the bill with rent of telephone but in a month it is in defect near about 20-25days. So many times I complained to the incharge of Kashipur, Telephone Exchange but he always used to say our board is in defect. Some time says today I’ll repair this. But till date the problem is not solved. I told this to JTO Kashipur over telephone but he also not takes any steps or not responding. Kindly clear the problem immediately and change the old telephone set to a new one.

                  this is inform you that i have BSNL EVDO card on rent from 25 march 2010. They said the speed is about 300 kb/s in practical. But the average speed should be 30-50 kb/s. which is very less in patiala. And i am totally confused regarding the speed which they said. Please check this and take the action for better service.

                      I filed a case in District Consumer Forum in the year 2001 regarding excess telephone bill under Section 12 of Consumer Protection law against BSNL.
                      I was paying regular bill of my Telephone connection but suddenly in the year due to excess telephone bill of about Rs 36610 Rs 10015 and Rs 45055 in three months against the regular telephone bill of Rs 2000 per month . I requested to the telephone department to disconnect my STD and connection and after disconnection , again the telephone bills for many months were sent . When I initiated the action telephone department weighed of the bill of Rs 36610 to 4000 and accordingly I deposited Rs 4000 and I filed a case under consumer forum to weigh off other excess bill which was not related to me . The telephone department also accepted that after my application the bills were sent to me and they advised me that if I with draw my case from consumer forum they may provide relaxation under Telephone Adalat .
                      Thus it appeared that all were excess bills were irrelevant . I was hoping that I will get proper justice in Consumer Forum but as per the Supreme court rulling , there is a special remedy provided in the section 7 B of the Indian Telegraph Act regarding disputes in respect of telephone bills and hence the remedy under Consumer Protection implication barred and my case was dismiised on 26.3.2010
                      Please adivice what to do now?

                      BSNL Land line Phone — Request for a suggestion

                      Dear Sir / Madam,

                      With reference to the above mentioned subject it may please be noted that, I am not getting proper response of the complain for my faulty telephone from last two months.

                      My phone with a terrific noisy sound and out of order in most of the time of these two months.

                      I lodged many complains by your automatic fault booking system but only one time it has been repaired physically and the problem remains same within three days.


                      Sometimes persons from your office tells that they are using Madras cable that is why I am facing this type of problem and sometimes they suggest to keep my phone under observation and complain if the problem arise again.

                      By this way without solving the problem complains were deleted.

                      For example I am giving three of my recent complains docket numbers and for others if you have a system you can check & verify it. in this regard.

                      Date 21/07/2009 Docket No : AR906.
                      Date 24/07/2009 (Morning) Docket No : A0630.
                      Date 24/07/2009 (Evening) Docket No : L1244.

                      My question is that without proper solving a customer’s problem how a complain can be deleted?

                        Why can't you stop this messages in BSNL? If BSNL can't stop these TRAI will do the remaining.

                          My telephones no.25234457 & 25223446 In Bangalore (address, Flat no.B-402,Aaishwarya Opulence outerring road,Marathhalli,Bangalore under Indira nagar telephone exchange) were surrendered on 11th Jan 2010 vide acknowledgement of BSNL Indiranagar ref.no.1364dt.11th Jan 2010. The Payment upto the date of disconnection was paid and it is only after showing the receipt, the telephone instrument was accepted. Instead of refunding the deposit, I am surprised to see that everymonth, I am finding the BSNL bill propping up in my Bank account as I used to make payment ONLINE.
                          Would the authorities cause examination and arrange to refund the deposit at the earlierst?
                          I may also inform in the above context, I have vacated the house and reallocated to Chennai during 1st week of Jan.itself.
                          Hope the authorities would try to sort out this matter at the earliest .

                          I paid the bill on[protected] still i didn't get the Internet re-connection.If we called Custpmer care service they are not responding. BSNL services are very worst and they are cheating the People. If you went to pay any bill amount in Kormanaga BDA complex an old woman sitting in counter 4 and 5 and she was not intersted to do her job. You will not get any response if you meet BDA complex. Employees are chating with their colligues and nobody repsponse. BSNL is a fraud and other private services are best.
                          yes this is correct even in indranagar branch when custome is going to rebet bill(refunding the bill amount where phone is not working).as they are treating as enemy.old man who sitting in indranagar 3rd floor(customer office) he is treating as slave.i dont know their action is like why u look BSNL connection and eating our head...seriously i piched off...think we are educated people...if any illetrate people going to Indranagar branch he will die like any thing...please take remedy action to provide good service...

                                Hi,

                                My name is smitha, I applied for a BSNL broadband connections during the the second week for february when there was a BSNL mela at arekere. Although i was promised a connection in two weeks, i was not contacted by anyone till march 2nd week. somebody called in march to find out if i needed a connection and i said yes. A person from BSNL came and fit a box in front of my house in the first week of april and then two telecome mechanic (they referred themselves so) came and gave us a phone and gave us the telephone number.

                                I tried to contact the following number i was given from BSNL ([protected], [protected]) and as soon as i said hi and introduced me, the telecom mechanic shouted at me and asked me to get to the point and ask what damn thing i wanted...

                                it was an utterly rude experience i had to go through, i called the person again and asked for his manager and he shouted at me and cut the phone.

                                I have no clue as to when my broadband connection will be available as i dont have a number to contact on.

                                My main concern here is the fact that BSNL employees(Government employees) , are not only willing or cooperative to a customer, but has the authority or they think they do have the authority to shout at any customer. They talk cheaply in kannada and behave uneducatedly.

                                It is so unfortunate that we have to deal with such mannerless people who should not be allowed to talk to customer or deal with them,, rather shouldnt be hired at all.

                                  This is with reference to the refund deposit of Rs.1000/- not received till date by us from bsnl telephones after disconnecting our landline telephone in 2009.

                                  we have called the bsnl alandur office many times but nobody is helping us properly and say that there is nothing to refund.

                                  I have faced many problems with bsnl when it comes to refund and they do refund the deposit taken by them.

                                  we had broadband connection for which they had refunded only rs.1278/- Initial deposit of rs.1000/- is still not refunded to us. we have moved to hyderabad and have made several phone calls but none of the officers are taking it seriously and keeping on telling us to call later.

                                  Its quite frustating that company like BSNL does not refund money to the customers and we have to spend amoutn equivalent to our deposit to call them and get back the refund money.

                                  kindly look into the matter and help us get the refund at the earliest

                                    As iam using BSNL Land line no for the past 20 years.since,then i do not have any complaints on their service.from past 5-6 months this issue is in demand.

                                    As i was using BSNL Landline no 24743936 which was not functioning.so,i complained several times to BSNL authorities.they said me that the cables underneath the earth are broken and we will replace with new phone and new contact no with free of cost.so,they replaced and gave us new phone and new contact no 20033936 a 6 months ago.since then i was getting excess bill every month.when i surveyed i found that bill includes old phone no bill and new phone bill.as old phone no is not in use.since,then also iam getting excess bill of old phone i.e 24743936 to 20033936 new bill and also found out that there was no contact no of my on the bill that iam receiving.
                                    when i complaint about it to BSNL Telecomminication authority GOWLIGUDA,HYDERABAD.they keep on postponing nobody is looking seriously about this issue and neglecting.

                                    i request you to kindly look into this matter and arrange my excess amount which i paid to old no 24743936 with cash return back to me.

                                    i have postpaid connection of bsnl 100 plan which is free on a single no.but from last two months they have charged on that particular no.
                                    according to me the bill has to come 200rs only in last month but it has come 1614rs.i have complained for this but nothing had been done.

                                    I was approached by a marketing agent claiming himself to be an employee of a Sri Sai Promoters which has franchisee of BSNL .
                                    He said me they give BSNL Landline Connections within five days of application form submission. And He charged me Rs.1550.
                                    All the Formalities were over in an hour and along with application form submission.
                                    But then they start playing with me. Almost 15 days are past and whenever I call them, they make me fake promises of the connection within a day or two.

                                    My Mother in law has a BSNL land line. She moved home in MARCH'09 and submitted a letter to BSNL about change of address, but her landline is not active yet.
