While opening citi bank account, i was informed that citi bank has a tie up with bajaj allianz. I was asked to invest Rs 2000 /- every month. The terms specified were, i can stop this policy any time and there are no surrender charges. Instead, i was informed that minimum 10 % interest on principle amount will be given. But when I called up bajaj allianz, I was told that there is no mimimum garuantee. I have paid nearly Rs 1 lakh. After four years, they are telling that now my surrender value is only Rs 68000 /- Also, while taking the policy only a check box was required to be filled in the application form. Now, during closing of the policy, they are asking many documents to be submitted. There are no replies to mails. I have seen similar complaints in this forum. Please help me if any one has a solution to get my money back.

I am Chandan Kumar salary account [protected] in citi bank. The aforementioned account was closed by citi bank itself in September 2012.On September 2013 an account payee cheque was submitted by "SuperTech Group", since my account was already closed, the cheque was returned as "Demand Draft" to my address that was present in your database, that was the address where I was previously employed. They have the policy according to which all un-claimed "Demand Drafts/Cheques" are destroyed after three months. I was not intimated about the delivery of the demand draft, hence I was not able to collect it within that time frame. Now because of this confusion I stand to suffer a great financial loss. Please let me know what I need to do now so that the amount could be recovered.I know that the customer support of citi group is excellent and there must be a way through which I could be put out of this misery. Its needless describe the mental turmoil that I am going through as its a substantial amount of money that is involved here.

Dear Team, I have applied for CITI bank credit card Application No: [protected] for which I got confirmation that my application was rejected because the verification team was unable to locate the Address which I have provided. I was holding two Credit Cards from other banks with Same Address. If your verification team was unable to locate the address that I have provided in the application they would have given me a call to get the guidance to reach out to the address, but instead of that they have mentioned that the address was wrong which they were unable to locate. The address I was given in the application is Plot no xx x, Pxxxx pxxxxxxx, Near CAL public School, Kapra, ECIL, Hyderabad-500062(Very known area) I guess this is very clear and enough to find the address. Now I would like give complaint against this and I don't want to suggest anybody to go for CITI bank. I was on my way to find the legal process to give a complaint as my appliaction was rejected two times. Thanks, Satya

I am having City Bank Credit card. The month wise bill details are as: 1. That Feb.-2014 (23/01/2014 to 23/02/2014) : Bill Amount Rs. 3472, No Problem and bill payment in time. 2. That March-2014(24/2/2014 to 23/3/2014): Bill Amount Rs. 9556.26/-. In the month, Rs. 6000/- were withdrawn under the cash limit provided but Interest Rs. 195.07 and Service Tax Rs. 61.19 was levied. Why? However the total bill was paid on dated 7/4/2014 before the last date. 3. April-2014(24/3/2014 to 22/4/2014) : Bill Amount Rs. 3219.16. Earlier bill for the month of March-2014 was paid in time but Interest Charge Rs. 97.15 Service Tax Rs. 12.01 was levied. Why? Bill was not paid. 4. May-2014(23/4/2014 to 22/5/2014): Bill Amount Rs. 5954.67. Late fee rs, 300/- was levied, Interest Charge Rs. 148.13, Over Due Charge Rs. 160.96, Service Tax Rs. 55.08 also been levied in addition to late free Rs 300/- Why? However the bill amount Rs. 5954.67 has been paid. They have levied so many charges without any logic. It is an unfair trade of practice. However I have also paid the latest bill of Rs. 5954.67 and no further transaction has been made hence as on date no pending amount is due on me. However City bank is to refund the excess amount Rs. 932.44, charged from me through unfair levies.

Mr. Deepak Kumar a Citi Bank recovery 3rd party agent called me on 26th May 2014 and said that you have an outstanding of Rs.17, 000 and if not paid Citibank will inform CIBIL and put my name in black list. I said, I have long back cleared my Rs.12, 000 outstanding in 3 EMIs dated 23rd Feb 2012, 23rd Mar 2012 and 23rd Apr 2012 of Rs.4000 each in cash and the outstanding was settled in 2012 accordingly. This recovery agent calls up again on 27th may 2014 at 12.20 pm (after 2 years) and says that your conversation is in "recording". He agreed on going through my accounts and said that "Yes Sir, the payments have been received by Citibank", but it was delayed, hence you need to do a resettlement again of Rs.17, 000. This is pure blackmailing of Citi Bank customers in the name of CIBIL. I humbly request the top bosses from Citi Bank to check into this kind of black mailing tactics adopted by recovery agents to make a fast buck from customers.

If Citibank has added my name into CIBIL as per the agents threats, it should immediately remove it as I have cleared all outstanding and I have a letter to that effect for records, with date. Citi Bank cannot threaten its customers in the name of CiBIL. If there is any issue they should call the customer directly and not through unscrupulous / dubious agents saying that "I am calling form Citi Bank" and later he changes his stance and says "I am an collection agent". Every thing is on recording as said by that agent. Citi Bank Pl check your paper records and voice recordings.

I am getting annoying calls from +9114094XXXXX regarding citibank personal loan twice EVERYDAY or even more than that even after mentioning that I am not interested for several times. These calls disturbs me in my busy schedule when I am at office, driving, when I am expecting important phone calls etc. This had been happening for several months or maybe even a year.

I had CITI Bank salary account for which there was no maintenance fee. When I left my employer, there was no salary credit and CITI bank guys changed my account into a different account without my consent. And they started charging me Rs.560 every month silently with out any sort of alerts (SMS or email) and so, I was not even aware that CITI bank was emptying my account. Same thing was happening to my friend who had CITI bank salary account like me and he alerted me. I checked and noticed that they had already taken more than Rs.3500 in around 5 months. If it was not for my friend, they would have emptied it completely. They refused to return my money. To close my account, they told me to send a letter to an address by post. Apparently they dont handle closing of account via online or Fax or email. And now they are saying that my letter did not reach them and they are not closing my account and they keep charging me money. Dear friends, My sincere suggestion for you is to close your CITI bank accounts and open SBI. SBI is the best and safe.
My last working day at Citibank was 30th of December 2013 and my Citibank account at which I stopped receiving salary was active. I was using the account for normal transactions. From March 2014 the reputed bank started charging a fine of INR 500 every month for not maintaining the minimum balance in my account. (the minimum balance criteria was not applicable when i was an employee of Citibank). The bizarre part is the bank never informed me about the minimum balance criteria if i am no longer an employee of the bank. Not even a mail or a SMS was sent. The irony is I never received any notification in my registered mobile number when the fine of INR 500 was debited from my account thrice. It was only when i called customer care i got to know that a whopping INR 100000 has to be maintained in the account. The customer care representative was giving a silly excuse that being an ex citibank employee i should know about the minimum balance criteria. The contrary is being such a reputed brand it is the onus of the bank to call its customers and inform them about any such conditions. When i was an employee of the bank it gave me many good moments. This was the only bad memory i had with the bank.
                        Thanks

This is regarding citibank atm machines located at Rajupalya, Near hoodi, Mahadevpura and at gandhinagar bangalore. I tried using my citibank debit card at these machines but does'nt work. However other bank cards are working fine in these machines. This is really sad and pathetic and basically raises a question do we need citibank card ? if citibank cards does not work in citibank atm machines itself. That too, its hard to find any Citibank atm machines.

I took Citi bank account as my salary account, since they showed up diferent services, but none of them are true. JUST CHEATING THE PEOPLE, I submitted the documents at citibank which is 20 miles aways from my place, that's at begumpet and given the application to activate my ready credit on 12th of may.but when I called customer care first I spoked to a lady she doesn't know what is ready credit account ..and she said she will arrange a call back by ready credit department but I never recieved any ..So I only called back, second time when I called I spoked with a male they said they did not recieve any documents and was very rude.asking me to courier it to chennai.when I asked him why is that they did not recieve any documents when I submitted in the bank..there is no answer from that CSR and he was very very rude. Citi bank should be ASHAMED to misplace the documents given by customer in the bank. I need immediate response on this.

I am Rohit Patel from Hyderabad. I hold a CITI Debit and a Credit Account with Citi bank since past 5+ years. My Debit account number is " [protected] " I used the Citi bank Mobile app to transfer funds to someone. But by mistake i missed to select the correct payee list from the drop down menu. So by Default it picked the first payee from the list. (Account holder Mr Abhishek Kumar, Account # [protected]). I transferred 6000 rupees. This happened on 5th April 2014. This was a human error. I immediately contacted the call center and got no help. Was transferred to multiple people and none helped. Finally i was asked to Visit the nearest Citi Bank. I have also tried to contact Mr Abhishek Kumar over the phone but was not able to connect with him. I was able to contact him over an email later on, through which he mentioned he is out of India and has closed his online citi account and he cannot transfer my money back. I visited Citi Bank at Begumpet Hyderabad immediately on 5th April. Met Sharon Anugraham (sharon.[protected]@citi.com). Informed her the entire situation, she assured that the money will not be lost. I went to Citi bank 2 days later, Sharon mentioned they are still looking into it. She mentioned that Abhishek Kumar's account is in Negative Balance but that will not be a problem and she said they were waiting for approvals to process this request. Sharon after a day contacted me and asked me to get a confirmation email from Abhishek Kumar stating that he is ok with transferring the funds back to my Account. Abhishek Kumar sent an email consent stating that he is ok with that to Sharon. I was asked to wait for a couple of days. But there was no communication. I have been waiting since then. I try to contact Sharon, i send her an email daily. She replies once in a while stating she is looking into this but she never gets back to me as promised. I then logged a complaint to the Citi bank's Nodal Office on 28th April. They promised to resolve my issue within 3-4 business days. But they have not yet resolved my issue. They send me an email every 3-4 days stating that they are still investigating. This is not such a big issue for such a multi national bank to revert back an incorrect transaction. Now as i am very upset and frustrated i am writing to the consumer court. Please help me out with this. I am waiting for resolution for a simple issue since one month and ten days. My credit card was lost of citibank [protected] and I filed a complaint which was mis-used by 1300/- but still citibank didn't close my account and keep on putting late fee and interest on that after it was build up so much they denied listening to me and finally i had to deposit my cheque which i paid within the next due date amounting 4939 for which I received a message also from their end. But again the next month i received a statement stating the whole amount due with late fee etc on that. when I approached them they said the cheque releasing took 7 days of time. Normally a cheque is released in 2 days of time but they took 7 days which was their fault and they are asking me again to pay the amount. I am really harassed and emotionally tortured by their behavior and would like to strictly complaint for them. Plz help me solve it.

He issued me a credit card without intimating me that there would be some annual fees that I need to pay.I asked him atleast 4 times that ?I would be taking credit card only if there is no annual fees as I do not use credit card ever. He told me there would not be any charges. But at the end of financial year I received a mail mentioning I need to pay some 1123 Rs. These Citibnak agents are cheater, fraud. I am not going to continue my salary account with them.

Immediately I contacted your office and no proper response was giving about the fate of the order. Madam Hariffa had told me that she will give a feed back on this but nothing has come so fare. Ultimately, today I again contacted your office and one Mr. Saddique has picked up the phone and told me that my order could not be executed as there is no stock of this ladder with ozone. This they could have checked quite long back i.e. before taking money from citibank. He has offered me 3 step or 5 step ladderes and refused to accep the same as I want only 4 step ladder only. Ultimately he cancelled the order and told me refund will be made after 15 days. I am not able to understand 1. Why your company took money from citibajk from my account without checking up the availability of the item. 2. Why 15 days delay fro refund as it is your mistake that order could not be executed and why should I be penalised for this. I was told by the other staff that citibank and this company has an understanding to cheat people like this. Ciibank should have checked with me whether I received the goods or not or else your company should have checked with me that you are not able to offer 4 step ladder and if the alternatives are acceptable to me then onlyyou should have taken the money. No prooblem but keeping the same for another 15 days is ridiculous and I wonder whether refund will be made at all. Anyway, I have informed my difficulties with you to Citibank and it is their duty now to get the payment soon since order has been declined by you. You are request to please immediately refund the full money to citibank immediately as you are not behaving as per business ethics. I am requesting citibank that in future they should be careful with such merchants who has not proper planning and only aim is to get money and cheat people. Sorry I have to write this because I was unnecessarily penalissed for no fault of mine. Your immediate action to refund the money is requeted and inform me accordingly. By endorsing a copy of this mail, I am earnestly request citibank not to send such undesirable catalogs of the companies and prompt the cardholders to be victims of such organizations.
