[Resolved]  Indian Railways — VERY BAD SIDE OF INDIAN RAILWAYS

Dear Sir,
My native place is Nagercoil ,Kanyakumari District. I am working at Coimbatore. From the last railway budjet our honarable railway minister Thiru.Lalu anaunced Coimbatore - Nagercoil Express Daily night Train. Immediately southern railway anaunced Train Number,Train Timing,Train Fair.Around 10 months left.So for train running date not anaonced.Around 50% of the total population of coimbatore is south tamilnadu people. They are doing business and jobs at Coimbatore.But so for no night train to south tamilnadu. But new and new omni buses are introduced with high travel ticket fare.In coimbatore ,so many meetings and fightings were conducted. But no use. Please look in this .

Railway — IRREGULARITY REGARDING ISSUING OF TICKET BY BOOKING STAFF

SIR, I AM A STUDENT AND RESIDENT OF SIWAN(BIHAR) .IN MY TOWN TAKING OF RAILWAY TICKET IS SOO MUCH DIFFICULT TASK WHICH I COULD NOT EXPLAIN.IN SIWAN STATION THE BOOKING STAAFS ARE SO SLOW THAT IF SOME ONE IS AT NO 10 AT 8 oclock SO HE GETS AT 11oclock.IN GENERATION OF 3G THE RAILWAY LINK IS ALMOST EVERYTIME FAILED.THE PEOPLE IN MY TOWN GETS VEY MUCH HARRESED THAT THEY BUY TICKET FROM AGENTS.THERES NO WAY OF TAKING TICKET FROM COUNTER.SO SIR ON BEHALF OF MY TOWN I REQUEST U TO PLEASE INTERFERE IN THIS MATTER .WE WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL TO U.ONLY 2 COUNTERS R OPEN AS THERE R MANY COUNTERS.THANKS.YOUR"S DANISH
even at reservation counter ludhiana jn they do not return ur money back if it is below+ 10 rupee, they even give badw+++ords llike benchod & madarchod they are just holes or u may say right w+ords (piles on railw+ay )
respected sir, on 15/09/2009, iwas travelling by sadbhavna express no. 4013, coach no. s-4, seat no. 52, and in the early hours of night at 4am near gaziabad, i took a cup of tea from the tea vendor, and after that i fell unconcious for about 1and half hours, and regain my conciousness at old delhi station, and found that my jeans pocket is cut witH a sharp thing n my purse, my nokia 7210 mobile iemi no.[protected], 6 gsm sim cards of no. [protected](vodafone), [protected](aircel), [protected](smart), [protected](reliance), [protected](reliance), [protected](idea), and my voter id. (GPV[protected], along wit that my luggage worth 5200 was stolen(2200 in cash), when contacted old delhi police officers they said that lodging an fir is useless and you are not going to get these things back, and instead of FIR they took a written complain about lost of my mobile phone, my sim cards and voter id which i lost during the journey, without mentioning theft any where, so that no one can use it unauthorised, in other way round is that they dont have to investigate the case, sir this shows how the police is "friendly& responsible" towards public . i want the case to be investigated get the culprits behid barso that these kind of incidents be controlled.
my pnr no is -[protected], sir i would like to add here that sir i approached a rpf personnel at station instead of lodging complain he told me to go to the police station and lodge my complain
im not getting any info abt indian rail email id where i can clarify my doubts abt concession...

This is to inform you that so many years passed we I have given application for railway quarter but I am still on waiting list .I hope when I will retire than I will not get occupation of railway quarter. As such there are so many people who have given the railway quarter on rent where they are earning 7-8 thousand per month, then how our turn will come .One of the railway quarter which I came to know which is given on rent is of Mr SUbhash A Ambokar salary No. 71584 technician No.1 residing in 248/2 supari baugh parel .As such we are in need of railway quarter we are not getting it and these people have given on rent.If not true then you may have a surprise check and just see so many railwy quarter are given on rent . This is for your kind perusal please.

I am a passenger of BHAGIRATHI EXP. which is started from sealdha to lalgola at 6:25 pm but there is a big problem of sitting on the chair. Because the local passengers previously reserved the sit by spreading playing card & forced the general person become uncomfortable to their journey, at earlier the train plat formed. So many passengers are suffered.

So, I requested to solve the problem that the general passenger traveled comfortable.

I want to draw ur kind attention towards irregularities happening around railway station.There is a big passage through which general public particularily children and old people and railway passengers who are without ticket cross through this route. This route connect railway station with bus stand through SUPER MARKET. Any big accident can occur at any time. Railway goods theft is very common through this route . It is an escape passage for without ticket passengers and thieves. Why this passage is not sealed? Is it not a violation of railway rules.Is there any mutual understanding and nexus between railway employees and thieves.
Please enquire into the matter and seal this passage.

Mamta store — Extra xharges

Hi, I reside at 100ft.ambadi road, vasai(w). the general store opp.evershine complex has been charging more than MRP for their products. All cold drinks are charged more than MRP. They say the extra charges are for cooling. This is the only general store in the area and hence we do not have option. Need action taken immdtly for this store.

This is to inform you that Yesterday I was travel with my Friend In Saurastra Janta Express --Train No-9018 --PNR No-[protected] from Ahmedabad to Surat.Our boggy No.S6 & Berth No 50, 51, 53, 54. We hv four Confirmed Ticket with us. we hv one extra Person with Generals Ticket.We r ready to pay Extra charges to TTE. When T.T.E came for Ticket Checking & We said to him we hv one extra person. pls make diffent amount.T.T.E said your charges will be 300 Rs. with Penalty then we r ready to pay. But Tone of Mr T.T.E during conversation is not satisfactory. His Behaviour is very rudely with us. He used abusing word & I will through me out next Station .You have Money power.I will not accept Penalty & not make receipt.In whole Incident the Behaviour of Mr T.T.E is arrogant & rudely with customers.

At Our Point of view we r alway use to travel in Railway & we like to travel in Railway always. but this kind of mis behavior not acceptable from railway dept. Kindly give Training to Mr TT.E how to delight customer & customer Satisfaction.

Two days back, my wife was travelling from howrah express 2833 with e-ticket-3rd ac and carrying Xerox copY of pan card as ID Proof. TT came and asked for ticket and also asked for id prrof, she showed the xerox copy .. but TT told to produce the original copy of ID proof. She told she is not carrying .. but TT forced her to discontinue her journey or purchase a new ticket from her with fine.
I want to know how authenticity of rules behind this? secondly Is TT have rights to tel pessengers to dicontinue the journey. or purchase new ticket? Thirdly TT told to my wife that she can get back the money if she claims from Indian Railway after 6 months?
Fourthly suppose any pessengers is not carrying his original ID prrof and Carrying Xerox copy ATTESTED from NOTATRY OR GAZT OFFICER'will that be consider as Original?
Fifthly if pessengers carrying xerox copy which is not attested, will that be considered? Sixtly, Lot of time it is seen that women name is changed after marriage.. suppose women name is seema roy before marriage and in id proof her name is mentioned as same and after marriage her name changed to SEEMA SINGH and she is travelling with e ticket where TT ask for ID proof which she gave of before marriage, , lot of time TT dont consider that and troble the pessengers stating mismatch ID proof, so waht pessengers can do?

Western Railways — HARRASMENT OF PASSENGERS WAITING IN TICKET QUEUE

I AM A RESIDENT OF GOREGAON SUBURB OF MUMBAI.
I HAVE BEEN NOTICING FOR THE PAST MANY MONTH THAT RAILWAYS TICKET ISSUANCE PEOPLE ARE INTENT ON EARNING REVENUE IN THE FORM OF CURRENY COINS BY ASKING OFR CHANGE.
ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE TICKET COUNTER THE RAILASY BOOKING STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AND ASK CHANGE OF 1 OR 2 OR 3,ETC AND HARRASS PASSANGERS.ALSO ON SUNDAYS THEY OPEN ONLY 4 COUNTERS INSTEAD OF MANDATORY 8 COUNTERS SINCE THE BORIVALI SIDE OF TICKET COUNTER IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATION.I HAD TO WAIT FOR 20 MINUTES FOR A TICKET WHICH OTHERWISE SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN ME 5 MINUTES.
KINDLY NOTE THAT EARNING UNAUTHORISED REVENUE AND HARRASSING PASSANGERS IS UNFAIR AND AGASINT NORMAL BUSINESS PRACTICES/

Indian railway, tatkal ticket — Management is very bad

My comment on directly to mamta benarji. I want say her to leave the seat from railway minister. If she cann't even see basic think n solve the problem den what is the use of seating on seat. e; what is use of giving tatkal ticket,if No one will get the ticket rather den broker. Even all staff of ticket counter n police are packed with dem. Its very shame to vote for politition and say proud to be an indian. Not only this thing this kind of many things to improve in india.

Am from pondicherry, but now am working in chennai T.nagar, one day i traveled to Mambalam to chennai Fort(Egmore) in local train. I bought return ticket also, after i return to Mambalam, i was caught by Ticket checker, he told why you are traveling in first class coach. Then he said you should pay the fine amount Rs.250. plus ticket balance Rs.37. total Rs.287. fine amount i paid, But what i was feel is, in that Mambalam station there is no enquiry counter, And how uneducated people will bare this kind of activities and no one respond properly, they said this is the rules of Central Government to collect Rs.25, 000. of every month. they simply said like that. Is this the way they behave with passenger? Is it Government or Private concern? they way he is behaving is not proper with passenger, and even they said ask with Minster Mamata banerjee. There is no proper Banner, there is no proper answer, there is no enquiry counter. So please kindly take this as complain and do the needful. Arrange the proper enquiry counter in all local train junction. Please display the ticket rates and classes for local trains.

Dear Sir,

I am Sangeetha, Project Manager in a MNC, residing in Nungambakkam. I would like to file a case against the Railway ticket counter staff in Nungambakkam, Chennai. I have been observed this particular lady, in counter 2 (name unknown, age should be 50 plus and wearing specs, slim and she comes in the general shift) is behaving in a rude manner with all the passengers who is coming to buy tickets.

On 9th September 2010, at 9.00 am (Friday, last week), I went to buy a ticket. But there was a very long queue. Out of two general counters, only one was opened. We stood in the queue for more than a hour. This is happening everyday which causes inconvenience and delay to work to everyone.

I just enquired that lady staff, about the reason for not opening the other counter. But unexpectedly, she started shouting at me, and used more nasty words. She was so arrogant, used more bad words in front of everybody. This lady behaves in the same way with everybody and every complains about it.I think this is a shame full matter for Indian Railways for having hiring such ill mannered people at a public place. This was highly immoralising and harassment.

Just because they are the Government staff, they are taking more advantage, since we are in position to buy the ticket for that time.

I would really appreciate if the higher official of Railways take some necessary action against this lady staff, so that we can restore our respect to Railways.
