[Resolved]  speed post Mumbai — Theft of Speed Post Article by loading staff at Mumbai

Speed Post Article EM[protected]IN dt 8-4-10 booked from Mumbai to Coimbatore not delivered, as same is lost in transit. NSPC Coimbatore did not find the SPA in the bag that was received on 10-4-10, so they IMMEDIATELY lodged ERROR REPORT 12-4-10 to SPC99 MUMBAI, who did not take IMMEDIATE ACTION.I had to contacty higher officials(CPMG, DIR GPO, DIR MM all at Mumbai)only then on 10-5-10 SPC99 reported that article is lost, and to claim for postage amount.
WHAT ABOUT VALUE OF SPEED POST ARTICLE?
WHY SHOULD I BEAR LOSS THAT WAS DIRECTLY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF POSTAL DEPT. LOADERS AT MUMBAI HAVE STOLEN IT, HENCE IT WAS NOT RECEIVED IN THE BAG AT COIMBATORE.
I appeal to Postal Dept.to apprehend the thief staff, impose penalty equal to vale of SPA and suspend them. The value of Rs.3500/- plus expenses be paid to me.
