i have a huge complaint against standard chartered credit cards as i had done the settlement for the credit card and closed the card about a year and half but now after these many days i get calls from the customer care depaptment to pay them the amount balance which is of about 3500 rs and when i ask them to explain why should i pay then they say that i had not settled the entire amount where in i had gone to one of the credit card branch and called the customer care dept from the phone in the branch and they confirmed that i had to pay off 15 k and my credit card will be closed and i did the same but now they come back to me to pay them more and when i told the customer care rep that i will not pay the amount she started threatening me, the customer care department for the credit cards are worst, they dont speak proper english and they dont have a good language to talk to people, they harrse people, when i asked for explaination to why they dint call me for soo many days the explanation i get from the customer care rep is she was tring to get in touch wiht my mom and get my mobile number and after that they kept calling me and i dint receive any call from them, please help me i am too tenced cause of them, please give the highest contact of the standard chartered credit card dept so that i would be able to talk to them directly and sort out this issue

Myself, Parth Mukherjee, foreclosed my loan A/c taken on my Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card No. [protected] in the month of May 2009 through cheque no. 694399 dt- 06.05.09 for Rs. 94, 939.00 of ICICI Bank Ltd, after talking to the customer care representative who confirmed me the above mentioned as my final payment amount (including foreclosure charges). But after about eleven months my statement dt- 18.04.10 showed an outstanding amount of Rs.10, 642.73 as the total amount to be paid. The previous statements for the last eleven months showed total outstanding balance as NIL. To my surprise, I called on the customer care representative again on 20.04.10 and asked about this. They (Ms./Mrs.) Sujata was explaining me that you have not paid your loan amount in full as you have not foreclosed the same. But it is totally wrong to say that I have not paid in full in May 2009, otherwise the minimum balance in statements for the last eleven months should not have shown zero amount.

Please investigate in the matter immediately, as I am not going to pay anything because I have already paid the bank in full as per cheque details mentioned above, and I am also going to forward the case to consumer court and press release, if necessary.

I hold the manhattan credit card of standard Charted bank bearing number- [protected]



On October 2009 I pay the outstanding balances of around Rs 50000 after due date because as I was out of station for 1 month to one of project site which is a remote area .So after it was call from stabndard charted bank executive that u pay the full amount & all your dues will be cleared .So I handed over the amount to collection executive & after that I confirmed it from customer care that all your dues will be cleared .



But to my surprise I got a call in april 2010 after 6 month that your outstanding balances are aound Rs 4000 . In between these six month there is no single call came to my mobile number.Also there is no SMS in these six months that u have balance dues to clear . Though previously I received SMS from SC bank each month regarding the outstanding amount .As my mobile number is registered with bank.



Still without no fault of mine I pay Rs 2029 to your bank on 8th April 2010 to your collection executive . But still the card is blocked.



This is totally ridiculous .This total harassment to customers by standard charted bank



This experience of mine has proved to be so bitter for me that I really intend to sever all my ties with this bank in the future & will probably transfer my resources to some other bank & never ever use any the service that standard chartered is offering.
I use to hold a STANDARD CHARTERED CREDIT CARD long long back.

I very well remmember closing this account way back in 2004 or at most 2005.

Not only this card but I had closed several other cards also and then stuck with only CITIBANK cards as I was getting max. benefit in the form of POINITS. Besides that I have CITIBANK INDIANOIL Card and SBI card which I use for booking railway tickets.

All of a sudden in May'2009 I start getting calls that an amount of Rs. 4023 is pending in my account and also that the last payment made by me was on 03rd Feb'2009. I had made no such payment and on asking to give the Cheque details of the bank they reply that the period for the same is over and now they dont have any such records.

On asking the last transaction that I had done on this card, again they fail to give a satisfactory reply saying that the records are old so they dont have relevant information now.

Now they are constantly insisting me to settle the account without giving me any information of my last payment or the last purchase on the card.

Pls suggest what should I do.

where do I own a credit card from SCB ?? Who got my mobile no to you?? I do not have any credit card from SCB. Pls verify the mobile number before sending to customers who are harrased unnecessarily.

On 19/6 I have received message that I have used above card for the said amount.Immediately I contacted Mr.Dilip of Customer Call centr at Hyderabad
and adviced him to stop the transaction as I am not aware of it.He has told me
he will revert back within 48 hrs.Surprisingly no response till date.I have contacted him on[protected].Pl.note that if any deduction of payment takes place on my card, I am not responsible, and immediately I will cancell the card, as I got fedup with the services of your bank.
Hope you may take action and revert back the status immediately.

I had a call from scb regarding payment outstanding for Rs.2100 some thing, we paid it also through oline but from customer care we received a phone call that we didn't received any payment and keep on shouting, they did n't know the manners how to speak with the customer and said she will terminate the card. They are speaking as though they were the owner of the bank. I[censored] r in customer care you should have the patience to hear what the other person says, if not why you people get employed? So we have planned to discontinue our banking with such organisation
I also like to add my experiance on Stanchart Card.

Even after settlement they will not issue any Settlement Letter showing No Dues. and in fact this is the strategy of the Sales People or the bastered management peoples.

They literally harass aven after 4 - 5 years of card closure. What I feel is they deply Raody guys /criminals and these fellows act as recovery people of the bank.

Worst Cust . Service. if this being compare with HDFC bank or Deutche Bank.

SWIFT CARD PAYMENT CENTER — PAID A LOT OF MONEY BUT STILL NOT GOT THE CREDIT CARD PIN

I HAVE PAID A LOT OF FEES FOR THIS AND I HAVE RECEIVED ATM CARD BUT TILL NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ATM PIN.WHEN I GOT THE ATM CARD I FELT THAT IT IS TRUE BUT NOW I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PIN TILL TODAY.

Credit Card — volgur harrasement after payment

Dear sir,

i was using ABN AMRO (RBS now) bank credit card account . card no.[protected] and i not done the payment in time earlier, but at later stage bank offer me to pay Rs. 2400 and offered to close account. I agreed and paid the same to bank executive sent by them on 05.04.2010. I got the payment reciept bearing no 14968 (Serco BPO pvt ltd, Delhi) from him and the amount also debited from my citi bank account 0n 07.04.2010 .
I mailed all this datas ( scan copy of payment reciept slip and citi bank statement which debited from my account) to the persons calling from bank or bpo.
After all this still i am getting threaten and bad words calls from delhi like payment not done Please do it again.
I attached the scan copy of payment reciept slip and citi bank statement which debited from my account please find that also.
Please help me on this regard.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am facing problem with SC credit card division. I had made some payment through credit card and some part payment was not done on time. Now bank never informed me about the same on time and now after 3 months am getting threatening from customer care to do it where as complete amount is only interest amount as I had already submitted principal amount. Earlier they informed my to deposit principal amount then they will waive the interest amount but now they are asking me to pay the interest amount also which is more than 5000/- request you to please guide incase I can take any legal action in consumer court.

I strongly agree with the complaint. Customer care of SCB is pathetic. Customer care staff has attitude like they are sitting in a police station and dealing with a culprit. They always look to charge extra . after making payment on time they find a way to charge you late fine.

The worst... I just got the new credit card from SCB... at the time of selling everything was in yes..but after first bill everything is No... All the way contradictory statements on each call. Customer care agents dont know full details of the car.. immidiately applied for cancellation. Even Head, [protected]@scb give poor response. Just copy and paste of information. Very bad BANK...
